Fantastic experience: Courtney with kickstand planned our rehearsal dinner/welcome party and wedding and it was everything I could have dreamed of!! She had an answer for all of my million questions and never ever made me feel like I was bothering for asking! It was the time of my life and I feel as if everyone at kickstand has became a friend. She really pushed for everything I wanted and made it happen. The flowers the design all of it was perfect. The professionalism during the wedding is something my guest commented on so many times. It was truly magical. I wish I could do it again and again.

As a vendor, Joanna kept me up to date with every detail, made sure everything was ironed our perfectly, was so incredibly nice and helpful and communication was top level. The wedding was during the heat wave, and although we had temps and humidity against us, everything went off without a hitch and everyone was kept happy and cool. Fantastic experience: Our wedding day (6/3/23) was hands down the best day of our entire lives! My husband and I have always imagined there was too much pressure put on your wedding day, and we were sure it would just be another great party, but thanks to Kickstand, we were entirely proven wrong. It. Was. The. Best. We live in New York City, and planning to get married in Wilmington, NC at Airlie Gardens meant that we were complicating an already hectic process with a destination wedding. We had some ideas of what we were looking for, but no clear vision or specific details in mind. We were recommended Kickstand Events by our venue, and we are so glad we went with them and the full planning package. During our first in-person meeting, Courtney and Sally took the time to get to know us and understand what we were or were not looking for. Following that first meeting, they were on top of it. We were shocked when we received our first design proposal and it was exactly what we didn’t know we’d been looking for. We had one, maybe two overall edits to the proposal. Every step of the way, they provided recommendations, but ultimately left the decision-making up to us. That being said, we did not go astray from their suggestions very often. Every element that we had an opinion on, they said “let’s do it” and sourced the perfect vendor to execute on it. Such as: family style dinner, a killer band, a setup that complemented the garden landscape, a NYC-inspired seating chart based on subway stops (!!), etc. Then comes the most impressive part….the day of. The Kickstand Team so flawlessly delivered on the perfect day that my husband and I, as the bride and groom, were not aware of one single thing that went wrong. I don’t know if that’s actually how things went down, but boy did it make for a stress-free and wonderful day. They were there to help clean up the house where the bridal party got ready (Is taking the trash out an official wedding planner remit? Absolutely not, but Bri did it graciously.), they were there to bustle my dress when we wrapped up pictures and weren't quite to cocktail hour yet, and they were there with a saved bag of Bojangles - our late night snack - before we headed off to the after-party. The Kickstand Team was so fabulous that my husband and I remember them being there at every step we needed something, but they never interfered when we were with family or friends or on the dance floor. We know, without a doubt, our day would not have been as magical as it was without the Kickstand Team. If you have the opportunity to work with them, I cannot recommend them highly enough. Fantastic experience: This team is capable, quick and trustworthy. It was a relief to see Sarah floating around the party with a clipboard and handling every detail with grace and just the right amount of tenacity. They were entirely trustworthy with my dreams, designs, people and pocketbook. We had a wedding-sized 40th birthday party with many vendors and pieces. Kickstand made it easy for me to give input and they sourced the perfect vendors. I didn’t have to spend hours comparing djs or menus. Everyone keeps talking about what a fun event it was and what I’ll be doing for my 50th birthday party

Fantastic experience: It’s been over a year and we are still in awe of the wedding that Courtney, Sally, and their entire team pulled off for our daughter. We worked with them for over three years during Covid and many cancellations of wedding dates and venues. We finally had to settle on our family farm. With no electricity or running water Courtney and Sally just said “no problem “. The wedding was absolutely Beautiful and talked about regularly amongst family and friends and quoted as “the most beautiful and amazing event/wedding they have ever been to”. They are such a joy to work with and be around! Can’t wait for our next event with them!!!!

Fantastic experience: Courtney, Sally and their team delivered a first class event with very short notice for a surprise birthday party for my wife & daughter. I wanted to pull this event off but was not sure how to. All it took was one call. The phone was answered on the first ring and the team at Kickstand wrapped their arms around the party. The set up and the catered food was over the top and the peace of mind was worth every penny. I will use them for future business and personal events!!

We pretty much had everything planned and then with COVID-19 had to switch to an alternate venue and Kickstand didn’t miss a beat. Fantastic experience: Kickstand events recently helped me pull off a bridal shower with @ 40 guests in the middle of Covid restrictions. Our original venue could not accommodate us so short notice we changed the location to a backyard. Courtney immediately got to work. She went on Google Maps, downloaded a picture of the back yard and did a layout plan and an inspiration plan and sent it to me in a day. She completely transformed the backyard into a beautiful venue for our shower. She handled everything, taking all the work and the stress off of me. She and an assitant were there early to make sure everything was in place and beautiful. They also stayed for the entire shower so I could enjoy (not typically the case for a party host) Courtney was a lifesaver. I could not have pulled it off without her. I will definitely call Kickstand Events to plan another event and would highly recommend them!
