Fantastic experience: Nicole & the entire Urban Allure team absolutely exceeded our expectations- we could not have done it without them. Nicole was very responsive and timely with her responses during the entire planning process. I was quite indecisive while picking the venue and most of our vendors, and she was so helpful with weighing the right options, prices, contract reviewing, the list goes on. I became so close with Nicole that I would actually consider her a friend at this point! We had some last minute guest cancellations due to weather for our wedding and Nicole handled everything and helped me feel like it was completely under control- she helped fix seating arrangements, and ensured that the event felt completely unaffected. I used all of Nicole’s recommendations for every vendor and they all truly did amazing- especially our Florals with Colleen. Nicole & her connections in the industry were really unmatched. For vendors- she helped us pick our venue, band, florals, photographers, transportation, everything! And all of it was phenomenal. Would highly recommend Urban Allure for all your planning needs- it is completely worth the investment.

Fantastic experience: Nicole, Colleen, and the rest of the Urban Allure team did all of the florals for our wedding and it completely exceeded all of my expectations. Nicole worked with me over several meetings to help me bring my vision to life. She had amazing creative ideas that I would have never thought of on my own and really understood what we were going for. They hung florals, disco balls, and even chandeliers over our dance floor, creating the most stunning environment. Colleen, who handled a lot of the floral sourcing, even included some beautiful blooms from her personal garden in our arrangements. It was such a special touch. Choosing Urban Allure was one of the BEST vendor decisions I could have made and I'd recommend them to anyone.

And while I wouldn’t wish this on anyone else planning a wedding, we did have a bit of a dispute with one of our vendors and Nicole had our back 100% despite having a long-standing relationship with the vendor. It’s so important to know that your wedding planner won’t just help you plan and get things done, but will advocate for you and step up for you when things threaten to go wrong. Overall, this is THE team you want planning and designing your wedding. They are truly the best!

Fantastic experience: It's such a wild leap of trust to hire a wedding planner. Two years of planning leading up to a single weekend; I think it’s very hard to know how consuming wedding planning can be until you’re really up to your neck in the thick of it. You want experienced, calming, professionals. You want people you know truly see you, who see your vision, and can execute under high stress and uncertainty. We chose Urban Allure because when we met them, we really believed they would keep us level not just for one meeting, but for years! That’s a big ask, and Nicole and Niela met it with such competence and kindness. We were looking for less conventional vendors at our wedding, and to really make it our own, and Urban Allure brought us through the storm with style. Colleen came on to our team to handle floral needs relatively late in the process, but the end result was stunning. I also want to be clear that this wasn’t a case of mind reading; this team really worked to understand us, and were completely without ego when we asked for adjustments. We did have a few things come up on the day of (what event doesn’t!), but we had a wonderful wedding, and we’re so grateful to have worked with Urban Allure!

Fantastic experience: We love Niela! There are so many amazing things we could write about her so we will try to condense them here. Niela was incredibly organized, she helped us create a timeline that felt easy and aligned with our intentions. She communicated with our vendors to address concerns and ensure they were following the timeline. Niela was a calming presence throughout the planning process. She would check in about how we felt and supported us through the hectic parts of the wedding. Niela was incredibly knowledgeable, she knew how to guide us without pressuring us. I do not know how we would have pulled it off without her! We recommend her 100% to anyone.

Fantastic experience: We worked with Nicole at Urban Allure for decor for our wedding at Sarabande Chicago in June, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. Nicole was incredibly responsive, professional, and seemed genuinely excited for us and our big day. Our wedding was unique, we had a Hindu ceremony in the morning followed by a traditional American cocktail hour, dinner and dancing in the evening, and while Urban Allure didn’t have everything we needed in-house (like a stage, large mandap, Indian chairs or Indian statues), Nicole seamlessly coordinated with other vendors to pull everything together. She even handled pickup and return of those items, which took a huge load off our plates. The team’s schedule for setup and breakdown was tailored to our needs, and everyone was prompt, professional, and kind. They even offered to store our Indian floral garlands (from another shop) the day before the wedding to save us the hassle of finding fridge space. We received countless compliments on our bouquets, mandap florals, the ceiling greenery (which looked absolutely magical), and how beautifully the florals were repurposed throughout the day. Nicole and her team worked quietly behind the scenes when needed and stepped in with support when appropriate, always striking the right balance. One thing we really appreciated was how flexible and collaborative they were. We wanted to incorporate some of our own decor (like colorful votives for the tablescapes), and they welcomed it without hesitation or pressure to upsell from their own inventory. Urban Allure brought beauty, color, and a sense of ease to our wedding day. We’re so grateful for their talent and dedication, and we wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a thoughtful, professional, and truly kind decor team.

Fantastic experience: We cannot thank the Urban Allure team enough for driving, supporting and ensuring we had the wedding of our absolute dreams. Throughout the process, we had complete and total confidence in their ability to communicate effectively and capture every detail of our vision. We could never have anticipated how many compliments we received on the flow and organization of the day - Nicole’s experience and insight were invaluable to making the event seamless for our guests and stress-free for us as the bride and groom. Our vision was truly brought to life with the Urban Allure Events floral and decor team. We got married in February at Fairlie in West Loop, a huge space with a smaller wedding. The floral team did everything and then some to make sure the space felt full and floral through every detail, corner and nook - it was incredible. We could not recommend this group more!

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend Urban Allure enough!! We used Urban Allure for our florals and decor, and worked with Courtney, who actually made all our floral dreams come true. We got married at the Adler Planetarium on Sept 1st and Courtney really just crushed it. She was so easy to work; very flexible, open to changes if need be, and committed to making anything work. She was great at communicating too, which was incredible because I got a little Type A the last few months of wedding planning. Towards the last month before the wedding I was just stressed and worried about little things, but Courtney always helped to ease my worries. Everything about the decor and florals on the wedding was perfect, I cannot emphasize that enough. I sometimes just stare at the photos because I love it all so much. It was really fun to work with Courtney too, she's so creative and really ran with the general idea I gave her and I couldn't be happier with the result. Especially the hanging florals? Incredible! Decor and florals were so important to me for the wedding day, and she just delivered on all fronts. Very grateful to have found Urban Allure and that we got the chance to work with Courtney! We cannot recommend her and her team enough. Highly high recommend working with her for any of your floral needs!

Fantastic experience: Niela was our day of coordinator for our wedding this October and we loved working with her! Niela got us very organized with a timeline and helped us get that firmed up prior to the wedding. She worked with all our vendors on day of logistics and details. She led our rehearsal session the day before and got us all in order. Day of our wedding we were both able to relax and enjoy the day because Niela had it all covered and kept us on our timeline. Highly recommend working with UAE! They are extremely professional, kind, organized and reachable.

Fantastic experience: We are so happy we chose Urban Allure Events for our day of coordination services for our recent Chicago wedding. Niela and her assistant planners were FANTASTIC! First and foremost, they called it a "day-of" service, but Niela began to help us a couple months before and even checked in leading up to that. Even though we didn't have full-service planning, it was clear that it was important to her to get to know us and all the details of our wedding ahead of time. Niela was organized, confident, kind, experienced, and calming through the whole process. She helped us think through all of the little details and eased a lot of stress leading up to the event. On wedding day, Niela made us aware of a few bumps in the day, but we barely noticed because Niela and her team had everything fully taken care of. They truly made it the most perfect day for us! A lot of people regret not being present on their wedding day, but I feel like my husband, our families and I were truly able to be due to the full trust we had in Niela and her team. Please hire them! You won't regret it!

Fantastic experience: We worked with Niela at Urban Allure and had an incredible experience! Our wedding required bringing in A LOT of vendors in the Michigan area, all while myself and husband were based out NY. Niela did literally everything. Sourced vendors, got quotes, handled all vendor contacts. She handled planning two full vendor meet days for me when flying into Chicago. And when we got closer to day of handled full itinerary for myself and vendors. Even if you don’t have as extensive planning needs I’d highly recommend them for day of. I didn’t have to think about anything, and simply got to enjoy my wedding! Our wedding was incredible, dare I say perfect, and we couldn’t have done it without Urban Allure! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: We are still over the moon and in complete bliss following our wedding just 2 weeks ago. We were blessed with being able to work with Niela at Urban Allure Events. Our initial meeting was with Nicole at Urban Allure Events. Nicole gave us an idea of how it all worked. We quickly realized getting to work with Urban Allure Events would be a must. Following our intake meeting with Nicole, we met with Niela, who stepped in as our Wedding Manager. Niela was phenomenal from the beginning. Fantastic experience: Nicole and her team helped us on our wedding this June. Prior to our wedding, Nicole was always accessible for any questions or concerns I may have and was very flexible with my crazy work schedule. She connected us to top vendors and was so incredibly organized. On the day of, we did have some rain (we had an outdoor venue). She ran the whole ship and changed her timeline last minute so that we had a very minimal delay and we’re still able to get married outside and have our dream ceremony. If there was any issues on the day off, I didn’t know about them. Again that goes to show how good she is at her job. We even had other vendors complement her to us, saying how wonderful she was to work with. I’ll personally will be recommending her to friends and family getting married in the future. Fantastic experience: We had such a wonderful experience working with Nicole (owner of UAE), Courtney (lead florist), and the rest of the UAE team for our May 2024 wedding! My now husband and I had absolutely no idea where to begin when it came to wedding planning so one of the first vendors we hired was our planner :) We had initial calls with multiple planners/planning companies and after we talked and met with Nicole we both knew we wanted to go with her and UAE for our wedding planning! We were drawn to Nicole because she is extremely calm (which is amazing because I was feeling a bit overwhelmed when we first began the planning process) and we could tell from her many years of experience and relationships with other Chicago vendors that she would help make this a smooth, seamless process - and that is exactly what she did! She handled my frequent texts and emails with random questions/what if's/wedding weekend worries SO well and is maybe one of the easiest people to communicate with. We also loved that we were able to use UAE for our wedding day florals! Courtney is extremely talented and I described with only a few words/photos the floral vibe I was looking for and she did just that and beyond! Also, since Nicole and Courtney both work together already it made the floral/design part of planning so easy. We truly had the most relaxing, stress free, and FUN wedding day because of Nicole and UAE! She handled the timing and behind the scene logistics of our wedding day so gracefully and we were able to just enjoy the day with our friends and family which is exactly what we wanted. Fantastic experience: Where to even begin! I am positive my wedding day would have not run so perfectly if it weren't for allure events, specifically, our day coordinator Niela Callanan. Niela was incredible. We started working with her months before the wedding and she helped our vision come alive. On the day of the wedding, I was not stressed at all, I knew Niela had a handle on all the vendors (who were also literally incredible, like please book Room 1520 and all associated vendors because hands down best people to work with). Niela took on our day with much care, dedication and precision. She ensured everything was in perfect position. Prior to the wedding, she developed a perfect timeline and was flexible to the needs/wants of me and my now husband. I never felt like she was forcing anything upon us, she made sure the day was how we envisioned and in a time frame that would ensure the success of the day. During the week of the wedding, she contacted all vendors and made sure everything was to run smoothly. She made me feel like everything was going to go as planned, and it did. My husband and I are truly impressed with her work and her professionalism. We HIGHLY recommend her as a day coordinator, we truly could not imagine a better one. Besides her incredible work / work ethic, she is a genuinely kind human and a delight to work with.

Fantastic experience: I just wanted to highly Recommend Niela and Anna Marie. They were so much fun to work with And they went above and beyond decorating the facility for my granddaughter’s wedding. It was a tight timetable, and the logistics had to be just right. And of course that’s what they did. They work so hard, setting everything up perfectly, Was very professional, and knew exactly what to do and how to do it. They also came up with some suggestions. We kind of hit a bump which made this evening so very special. The facility is beautiful and the staff is outstanding. When you want an event, this is the place to have it I want to thank them both as well as the young gentleman- Sorry, I feel embarrassed. I forgot his name.- Who also assisted. All in all they made Everything run smoothly, and everything started. Please consider them for any of your future events.

Fantastic experience: We used the company Urban Allure to help plan our daughter’s wedding. I felt so calm throughout the entire process and even the day of the wedding! This was because Nicole was so competent. She was always a step ahead and in control of all the aspects of the day. I had such confidence in Nicole that My daughter and I could truly enjoy her wedding day! Nicole made the planning process so easy. Nicole is extremely organized, calm, and a perfectionist. Fantastic experience: The team at Urban Allure are true professionals and my husband and I cannot praise Niela, Gina and Nicole enough! Niela and Gina were extremely responsive throughout the process, providing guidance and advice, as well as keeping us and our vendors coordinated. And Nicole stepped in to ensure a smooth transition following the departure of one of our original coordinators. We engaged Urban Allure as the "month of" coordinator for our wedding, but they started helping us about four months out from our wedding day. We had been having trouble with our original venue and Niela, Gina and Nicole jumped on trying to help us address the challenges. Unfortunately, the venue remained a challenge, so the Urban Allure team identified another venue with our date available as an alternative. They were very considerate when giving this recommendation, knowing how stressful it would be, and didn't push us to make the move. However, we're so glad they gave us this option because our wedding was beyond anything we could have dreamed! The transition was flawlessly executed thanks to the Urban Allure team and we couldn't have had a better time at our wedding thanks to their hard work. Fantastic experience: Where do I even begin? I found UAE through a Facebook Group - We were looking for a day of coordinator. I reached out to them and Conley scheduled an intro call with me right away. She was the most genuine, enthusiastic, caring, passionate, and all around amazing human being I have ever interacted with! She was so incredible from that first call to a few months before the wedding to the day of. She was so helpful with all of my questions and was always there when I needed her! The day of went so seamless and her assistant who was there Ellie was just as incredible. I cannot recommend them enough and if you are lucky enough to work with Conley or Ellie - you are blessed. Love them TONS!!!!!

Whenever I needed to talk or vent, she was available, and I am so appreciative of that. The google sheet she created really helped us stay on track and organized. All my vendors were super impressed by her and loved how involved she was with them. She attended multiple zoom vendor meetings, a venue walk-through, and our wedding rehearsal... I honestly don’t know how I would have done all this without her. She made me feel so at ease the day of. When an issue arose at the wedding, Jennifer completely took care of the situation and made sure I didn’t have to worry. Fantastic experience: Here’s the short version: a “day-of” wedding planner is more than worth it and Nicole and her team are the perfect people to do it. Long version: We worked with Nicole through a partial planning package. I was initially unsure about having a wedding planner, but the moment my husband and I met her, we knew she would make sure that we’d ENJOY our wedding day. She was on top of it all and such a pleasure to work with. Her experience in the industry (she knows everyone and everything!) and calming presence will make sure that your day goes smoothly. We also loved that she would give us advice if we needed it, but was down to handle whatever decision we made – whether it was the easy/pricy option or an alternative DIY option! Moreover, she’s simply a great person and it was wonderful for her be a part of such a special day. She made me feel very supported and confident throughout the planning process and WE HAD A BLAST during the wedding because of her. Instead of playing the part of the planner, we were able to just be present as everything came together magically around us. In addition to her coordinating all the vendors and sequence of events, she transported all of our wedding items to and from the venue, making sure everything was setup as we wanted and got back to us. This was HUGE and we were grateful not to have to ask any of our guests to setup, or worse, clean up. Nicole and her team were essential to us feeling that our wedding was the “perfect wedding” (a direct quote from so many of our guests!). As a person with no small amount of anxiety and who likes to be in control, it’s hard to feel like things ever go perfectly, but Nicole made it happen. Being able to enjoy your own wedding is priceless.

Upon meeting Nicole, we immediately felt so much trust - this feeling only grew and progressed as the planning process went on! We planned our wedding in Chicago from Boston, so we decided to elect for Partial Planning services in addition to Day-Of Coordinator (whatever you do - at the VERY LEAST hire Urban Allure for this service - you will thank yourself!). She ended up recommending every single vendor we utilized, negotiated contracts, walked through every detail (which we 100% would have omitted without her support), and met up every time we visited Chicago to talk through next steps. My husband and I are both super laid back and aren't ones to sweat small details, and she never pushed us to go above and beyond where we felt comfortable/helped us find ways to secure everything we needed without any finicky additional work. On our wedding day, Nicole was there from the morning on, ensuring that everyone was where they needed to be and we were calm, cool, and collected! She skillfully combated an emergency dress-mud situation - pulling seltzer water, lemon, Shout pads, and baby powder from her fanny pack as though this were an extremely typical situation. Our wedding was absolutely perfect and the true embodiment of who we are - Nicole even ensured that a very elaborate wedding dance to Beyonce's Homecoming (with Beyonce's actual performance playing in the background...) was executed to perfection. We were at ease the entire day and overwhelmingly and blissfully happy. Overall - I'd say Urban Allure was hands down the best investment we made in our wedding. I could not recommend them highly enough and will refer them to anyone possible, as everyone deserves a wedding that is a true reflection of the love they share with their partner. I can without a doubt say that Urban Allure Events was the most important vendor at our out-of-state wedding and played an instrumental role in our wedding weekend being perfect. Nicole eased all of my concerns, answered all of our questions (on top of things we never would have thought of!) and helped us immensely through the entire planning process. As wonderful as Nicole was throughout our planning process, the coordination and organization of the UAEvents team the weekend of our wedding completely blew us away. We had a welcome party at a remote location and Nicole and Brittany set up the room for us, filled our welcome bags, and ensured that we were completely stress free for the entirety of the party. The wedding day also could not have gone more perfectly, at least from our perspective! Nicole, Brittany, and Jenny were SO organized and prepared for anything—it was amazing! They were there from the very beginning of the day to the very last minute and managed the vendor arrivals and payments, ensured our shuttles with guests made it from one incredibly rural location to another, managed guest/vendor needs, and so much more totally calmly and discretely. Communication by the UAE team was also impeccable. We were unable to have a rehearsal at our venue and they ensured our vendors, bridal party, and families knew where to be and that we all remained on schedule for the entirety of the day. From steaming dresses and decorating the venue, to the complete teardown of the venue and saving us desserts/appetizers we otherwise wouldn’t have been able to enjoy, the UAE team went above and beyond. I could not believe how calm I was the day of our wedding and that is 100% due to Nicole, Brittany, and Jenny’s efforts, friendliness, and organization! Bottom line: you at the very least NEED a day-of-coordinator and you cannot do any better than Urban Allure Events.

Fantastic experience: We hired a wedding coordinator for two reasons 1) so we didn't have to "work" our wedding and 2) so there was someone ready to deal with any issues that could potentially arise on the big day. Nicole and her team delivered on both fronts. Not only was she great to work with leading up to the wedding...recommending vendors, helping my mother-in-law plan the rehearsal dinner, picking up our personal items etc - but she was an absolute life-saver the day of. There were NUMEROUS challenges that came up on our wedding day. It rained on-and-off the entire day, the photographer was a half hour late, the shuttle that was scheduled to pick up our guests was an HOUR late (stay far away Infinity Transportation!!), the floral coordinator we worked with to plan our event was sick and the person they sent clearly didn't get the notes on our decor scheme. Nicole and her team handled it all in stride to the point where we almost didn't even notice! Nicole was on the phone non-stop with the shuttle driver, dispatch, and hotels to work through the situation and she made sure every last one of our out-of-town guests had arrived before starting the ceremony so they didn't miss out. All this craziness was unknown to my husband and I until she had a clear plan and found the right time to tell us. Nicole & her assistant ran for umbrellas when the rain started up right before the ceremony, helped direct the floral coordinator to set up our dinner decor, and worked with all our other vendors to make sure they could accommodate when the timeline got pushed back. This girl is cool as a cucumber under pressure and I can't imagine how stressful it would have been had we hired someone else. We couldn't recommend Urban Allure Events more!

Fantastic experience: If you are planning your wedding, you need to hire Nicole at Urban Allure Events. My fiancé and I were married in Chicago this past July 2018 and hired Nicole early in the process. Not only was she remarkably well-connected with the Chicago wedding scene (she ultimately recommended our venue, makeup artist, and photographer), but she took the time to get to know my fiancé and I, and understand our likes and dislikes. In the month leading up to the wedding, Nicole was a godsend. She streamlined much of the communication between our various vendors and created a master schedule for the entire wedding weekend—encompassing everything from the rehearsal dinner to the day-after breakfast. And during the hectic week of the wedding, Nicole kept our schedules free. She worked in the background to ensure that we could just enjoy the week and spend time with our family and friends. Nicole not only filtered out the unnecessary minutia of the pre-wedding craziness (from coordinating vendor needs to handling the placement of the center-pieces, decorations, and signage) but anticipated details that we had never even considered (like vendor meals and parking). I witnessed Nicole handle a tremendous amount of the work, and I am convinced that is only the tip of the iceberg. So much of her work and organizational genius occurs without anyone noticing. By the time of our wedding, she was the ringleader. She anticipated our needs before we had even realized they were required, and was always ready with a drink or plate of food. While we were eating, she was getting ready for the speeches, and while we were dancing, she was already getting ready for the tear down. Most importantly, she tackled our event with grace, patience, and empathy. Hire Nicole; you will not regret it.

Fantastic experience: We got married in Feb 2018 at Room1520 and used Nicole as our DOC. Cannot say enough great things, and if she charged twice as much she would be amazing value. Nicole is extremely familiar with Room1520, so she had a lot of great insights on room layout, table setup, vendors, etc. She has also worked a lot of weddings so just generally helped us along the way with various details on timeline and décor. Leading up to the wedding Nicole coordinated all of our vendors and helped organize all other key details of the wedding. Most importantly, on the actual day of the wedding, we did not worry about a thing. We drank, mingled and danced all night, and that freedom on your wedding day is priceless. It snowed on the actual wedding day and Nicole stood outside with us to assist with awesome winter pictures. When the bride’s dress got muddy before the ceremony, Nicole herself colored the dirty areas with white chalk. She was the first one there and last one to leave on the wedding day. These are just a few examples of the many times Nicole went above and beyond while working with us. Looking back, we highly recommend that all couples consider using a DOC, and Nicole executed better than we ever could have expected! Thanks Nicole!
