She is kind and thorough and truly made me feel supported and confident that all of our plans would be executed. She is both professional and warm and it was a true joy to spend the day with her! I wholeheartedly recommend NYE and am so grateful to Tempris and the rest of the team.

Fantastic experience: NYE is a great wedding planning company. They took good care of us, they had connections with all our vendors, and they kept us on task. Liz was our planner, and she rocked. Many people in my family mentioned how nice it was to have a professional telling everyone what to do at the rehearsal. I don't plan on getting married again, but if I did, I'd use NYE!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with two different planners—Mel helped us curate a vision and pick an amazing vendor team and Rebecca stepped in and ensured that we had an amazing and stress free day. Leading up to the wedding, people would ask if we were stressed and we would say “no, because we know Rebecca is so on top of everything!” Day of, Rebecca and Lydia made sure that my family, friends and I could focus on celebrating. They took care of any fires that arose, kept us on time, brought a great and fun energy, and took videos. We could not have asked for a better planning team!

Fantastic experience: We loved working with Katie from Naturally Yours for day-of coordination! We had a call 90 days, 30 days, and 10 days out, and she handled our rehearsal and vendor comms for the last month before the wedding. She was incredibly detail oriented, on top of all deadlines, and reduced stress significantly in the last month leading up to the wedding. The day of the wedding, she was so helpful with everything. She thought of details I never would have, like numbering cards so we'd know if we were missing one when we got home and grabbing our own name cards from our table before everything was taken down at the end of the night. A flower in my bouquet broke and she somehow fixed it - I was amazed. Highly recommend - thank you so much, Katie!

Fantastic experience: We had the pleasure of working with both Kristen and Katie for our wedding and it was FANTASTIC. We really relied on their expertise to navigate the wedding industry and they never judged us for the many questions that we had. We signed up for the full package service due to our busy schedules and I cannot recommend it enough. It was a HUGE load off of our shoulders to have someone holding our hand every step of the way and leading us in the right direction of our wedding vision. As a bride who has ancestry from Taiwan and China, it was so helpful to have Katie chime in on some of those customs as well! The day of our wedding went so smoothly. It was absolutely wonderful! If you are someone who has no idea where to start with wedding planning or has a really busy schedule, I highly recommend Naturally Yours Events and the full package service!!

Fantastic experience: We used Naturally Yours for coordination and month of wedding services and would absolutely recommend them. Our coordinator Rebecca was extremely professional, responsive, and fun. She made us feel totally at ease and coordinated all of the logistics of our wedding. There were a couple little snags or delays on our wedding day (none of which were NYE’s fault) - Rebecca got us right back on track, handling them so seamlessly that I didn’t even notice. I also had a couple details and requests I was worried would not be feasible without a full service planner, but Rebecca made my vision come to life. Thank you NYE!

Fantastic experience: As a Wedding Entertainment and Decor company owner, I have worked alongside many planners and I can attest that not all are equal. Carlene was awesome to work with as a fellow vendor. Communication was clear and timely, which is huge for us. We were providing some decor services that had impacts on other vendors (catering and table setups) and she was so great at facilitating conversation to make sure we were all working towards one goal. Furthermore, when the couple had the opportunity to save some money by having Carlene and her team remove the aisle runner after their ceremony so that we didn't have to come back, they jumped at the task. If the Naturally Yours Events team was this great to work with as a fellow vendor, I cannot imagine the impeccable service they must provide to their clients. I would definitely recommend their services to any of our clients!

Fantastic experience: We had the chance to work with Mel for Abigail & Nick’s wedding, and she was absolutely wonderful to partner with. Our DJ Tyler and assistant Nick both mentioned how seamless the night was thanks to her coordination and positive energy. When planners help create that kind of smooth flow, it allows us to focus on keeping the dance floor packed—and that’s exactly what happened. Fantastic experience: I had the absolute pleasure of working with Naturally Yours Events this past Saturday at a wedding at the Rookery Building, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about them! She handled all comms in those last stressful planning weeks with all our vendors and made sure every second of the wedding went off without a hitch. Fantastic experience: Mel was an absolute godsend. She first started meeting with us about two years before the wedding when I was in the midst of grad school and didn't even have a pinterest page put together for what I wanted. Somehow with little instruction she helped put together my dream wedding. Absolutely worth every penny and then some. A month or two out from the wedding it became clear how blessed we were to have such a planner on our side. Really left both me and my (now) husband in awe. I had so much fun at my own wedding that I felt like a special guest and a celebrity, not at all stressed out with how the day was going to go or what might happen. Family and friends weren't even asking me questions on the schedule or how the day might go, they either asked Mel or saw that I trusted her enough that it would just go well. And it did, it went perfect! I do not regret a single thing about our choices leading up to the wedding and could not have imagined a more perfect day. If you are on the fence about choosing a planner this message is for you - do it!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: One of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding was to hire a "day-of" coordinator, and I couldn't have imagined a better person to have in our corner than Lizzie. Lizzie brings such a joyful energy to the stressful time that is wedding planning, and I felt so much better about the planning process with the tools from NYE and Lizzie's guidance and assistance. Lizzie had an answer for every question we had, and when we ran into some issues after the wedding totally unrelated to Lizzie and NYE, she stepped in to help us coordinate with our vendors and to get things resolved smoothly and professionally. Fantastic experience: TLDR; Even if you think you have the day “covered”, you will not regret hiring Naturally Yours Events! Their team was incredibly helpful, kind, and organized. Our wedding ran on time (and even ahead of schedule) with the help of our coordinator, Zo. Cannot recommend them enough! While planning our wedding, my fiance and I were convinced we didn’t need a professional planning company to help us. Both of us had planned events in previous jobs - how different could a wedding be? Once we were a month out from the big day, we realized the small details were becoming far too overwhelming. With only a month left before our wedding, we desperately reached out to Naturally Yours Events after being recommended them by a friend. And boy- did they come to the rescue! Their team replied to our inquiry within a day or two and we had our first phone call set up within 72 hours. We told them everything we had planned up until that point and shared some of our initial hesitancy about hiring a professional day of coordinator. Carlene let us know exactly what services would be provided and eased our panic about how last minute we had left this decision. With great confidence, we moved forward with their Honeydew Package. This package was SO worth it! Beyond actual coordination day-of, our lead coordinator Zo provided us with planning tools that helped us stay organized and on track with all of our tasks. She also provided frequent calls to check in and held us accountable on our agreed upon due dates. She was flexible with our month-long timeline and showed up to help us in full force. The actual day of the wedding, Zo had us running on time or AHEAD of schedule. Many brides/grooms talk about how they did not have time to really take in their weddings or have a private moment with their spouse on the actual day. This was not the case on our day at all. Zo ensured we were able to really soak in every moment by handling all the details that arose the day of. She was a superstar and we can’t recommend her enough. You may be the most put together/Type A/event expert person on the planet, but Naturally Yours Events will take your hard work and take it to the next level with their passionate team.

Fantastic experience: We worked with Mel Foley on our wedding and it felt like we had known her MUCH longer than what we did! We LOVED Mel and couldn't have imagined our wedding without her! She was on top of everything and we couldn't have asked for a better planner for our wedding day!

Fantastic experience: We had the most magical October wedding at City View Loft and could not have pulled it off without day-of coordination from Naturally Yours Events. From venue suggestions to setting up the event space to all of the little details, Kristen and the team made sure that our big day was everything we wanted. Many of our friends and family have commented that it was the best wedding they've ever been to. If you're getting married and don't know where to start, definitely hire them!

Fantastic experience: We hired Kristen from Naturally Yours Events as our day-of wedding planner, but to us, she was so much more. Our engagement with Kristen began about three months before our big day, and from the start, she made the entire planning process so much easier to navigate. Kristen has a way of explaining things that takes away the overwhelming feeling and replaces it with calm confidence. She is also fun and a down to earth gal. Not only was Kristen extremely personable and easy to work with, but she was also an excellent communicator. In most cases, she was proactive and already had things handled before we even had a chance to ask. She collaborated seamlessly with all our vendors, providing clear direction and ensuring that every detail came together perfectly. Her attentiveness to our needs and requests was truly impressive. We never had to worry about anything falling through the cracks because we knew we were in such capable hands. Kristen’s professionalism and reliability allowed us to truly enjoy our day, trusting that everything was under control. We can't recommend her highly enough!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I had our wedding in August of 2024 and we couldn't have done it without all the help and guidance from Liz Breen, our day-of coordinator! From our reservation of the venue on January till August, we knew that there were many things that we needed to do, but with the help of Liz several months before the wedding day, we always felt prepared and on-track to have the wedding of our dreams. One of the many things that our guests mentioned to us during our wedding was how professional, attentive, and friendly Liz and her assistant was and we couldn't agree more. They also have a lot of great connections with vendors. They hosted an event called Wedtoberfest, where we met most of our vendors. When beginning to prepare for your wedding, start with NYE.

Fantastic experience: Hiring Naturally Yours Events was the best decision I've made in my life! (Okay, second best decision after the "I Do's"...) The Day Of Coordination package allowed us to actually enjoy our wedding, which I'm so thankful for in hindsight. We worked with Katie who was a delight, insightful, and kind. Fantastic experience: Katie Liang was our wedding coordinator and we are so grateful! She effortlessly coordinated all of our vendors and our wedding day was perfect. At the end of the day, our cheeks hurt from smiling so much. If there were any hiccups, we were not aware because the whole day was great. Katie brought us water and snacks while we were getting ready. At the end of the night, Katie cleaned everything up and herded us on to the shuttle. Katie made wedding planning stressfree and she is fun to work with!

Fantastic experience: Caitlyn has been such a joy to work with! We are recommending them left and right to all of our soon-to-be-wed friends. They seriously took so much weight off our shoulders. Our friends and family have been telling us that our wedding was the best one they have attended! They were instrumental in that success. Highly recommend NYE and Caitlyn for any type of planning, especially hiring a Day of Coordinator! Money well spent.

Fantastic experience: If I could give more than five stars, I would. We hired Naturally Yours Events for our day-of coordination for our ~130 person wedding, and it was the best decision we ever made. If you're reading these reviews and wondering if you should reach out to them for your wedding: Yes, you should. When an event is executed flawlessly, it's most likely because someone was doing a lot of hard work behind the scenes to make sure everything goes smoothly. In our case, we were so lucky that that person was Mel. My husband and I were able to let go and revel in the celebration, and we couldn't have done that without Mel's careful coordination. She was so well organized, communicative, calm, and patient throughout the whole process. She does so much more than just show up on the day of the event. She started working with us weeks before to make sure we had everything in order for the big day (vendors, contracts, timelines, seating charts, logistics, rings, gifts, wardrobe, wedding license, photography shot lists, and on, and on, and on). As we got closer to the event, she oversaw the logistics, corresponding with all the vendors, making sure there weren't any communication gaps, and ensuring everyone knew where to go and when to be there. She and her assistant even set out all of my DIY decorations. No matter what your budget is, hiring a day-of coordinator will help to ensure that you get the most value out of the cost of your wedding. My husband and I, our guests, and our friends were able to be fully present on our wedding day, and it was such a gift. We had time to taste the food, drink our wine, dance, and spend time with our guests, and we couldn't have done that if Mel hadn't been there to oversee all of the details throughout the day.

Fantastic experience: We are not exaggerating when we say that we could not have planned and pulled off such a perfect wedding day without the assistance of Mel and Naturally Yours. While Mel was technically our day-of coordinator, she felt more like a full on Wedding Planner in the months leading up to our big day. Mel stayed in constant communication with all of our vendors and was able to ask and get clarification on so many things that we would not have thought of. She was able to make last-minute decisions for us when the weather on our wedding day was less than ideal and was always a calm and reassuring presence. Everything was exactly how we wanted it to be when it came down to it and that would not have been possible without her and Samantha. She is a true pro! It would be difficult to list all the ways Naturally Yours helped us in a single review. But we can absolutely recommend that you use their planning tools that come bundled with their service (seriously, use them). The more you follow their recommendations, the less you have to think or worry about on the day-of. Hiring them and working with Mel was the single best thing we did for our wedding.

Fantastic experience: Carlene was our wedding planner and she was INCREDIBLE! My husband and I were talking about smoothly the big day went, and we know that's because of a lot of hard work behind the scenes from Carlene as well as the other NYE associate, Katie, who was there day-of. We got the partial planning package and Carlene was so helpful throughout the entire process, and we'd definitely recommend getting at least the partial package if you can. Getting so many thorough vendor recommendations and having help reviewing the contracts alone were things we definitely needed (and there's a lot of other stuff included with that package!!) Day-of, the only thing that surprised us was that the strap of my wedding dress broke! Carlene even made eye contact with me across the room while speeches were happening and noticed something was up. She was amazing and was able to sew it up quickly, and it was fine the rest of the night! Also, Katie was able to get some stains out of my dress after we did our outdoor couples' photos and noticed that being outside damaged the dress a bit. Both of them were so helpful, kind, and organized. We loved working with Naturally Yours and highly, highly recommend them. Don't look any further for a wedding planner - NYE won't disappoint!!

Fantastic experience: Kristen Stewart was our planner and we had such a blast working with her! She made sure we kept on schedule and was super flexible with our work schedules for meetings, for which we are forever grateful. She understood our vision perfectly and recommended that I have a heart shaped bouquet (it was awesome) and encouraged us to include our dog in the ceremony (also awesome). We don’t know how we could have possibly orchestrated such a grand occasion without her guiding us. “I literally don’t know what we would have done without her” -my HUSBAND just now. Fantastic experience: Naturally Yours Events was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Every detail or request we threw at them was always a resounding, "Yes, we can do that!" They were able to customize our day-of coordinator package to fit what we needed as a multicultural, multi-event wedding. Tempris Daniels was our lead coordinator, and she did a fantastic job advocating for our vision while juggling the demands from all of our vendors. 10/10 would recommend NYE!

Fantastic experience: Let me share this from the perspective of people who never wanted to hire a wedding planner .... ( but our venue required it. ) First, we wanted to find a company that's inclusive to ALL kinds of love. Naturally Yours fit the bill. During our introductory phone call, they asked for my pronouns, which really made a positive impression on me that they would care about that area. They found a price package that made sense for us. We went with the "Day Of Plus" ... which guarantees all the important support on the day of your wedding, plus additional meetings to plan thru decor/design. Our first real meeting was with Tempris. And she was great! For two people who never wanted to hire a wedding planner ... we had such a fun time creating our "vision board" ... (that we didn't know even existed for weddings) ... but became super helpful in handing over to possible florists and Photo Booth vendors, even our venue. Tempris was so kind and helpful. She sent us on our way after that meeting, feeling well-equipped to hire vendors. A few months later, we were paired with our lead coordinator, Liz, and she was a great fit for us as a couple. How important is that? Super important ... think about it, Liz became our "third wheel" in almost everything in the planning process. Who wants to hang with a "dud" third wheel? :) ... Naturally Yours works to pair couples with their planner in this way...based on phone calls, bio information ... they can guess what will and won't work. Liz was exceptional. Positive energy, responsive, very detail-oriented, and compassionate. During the final few months, she made key suggestions and observations of changes that needed to be made .. big and small. (And things we wouldn't have thought about) Wedding Day? Liz was our MVP. She went above and beyond coordinating so many things. Stopped by our hotel to say hello to everyone getting ready, communicating with our vendors in what was probably 1500 text messages/emails back and forth ... and not all of them were easy to coordinate with! She did everything with a smile and an exceptional attitude. And the best part? Because of Liz ... we only had to think about getting married. She handled everything else ...from laying out our change of shoes (heels to Nikes of course) :) , finding an Uber late for my family, to taking awesome photos and interacting with our vendors and guests in such a fun and natural way. She kept our night rolling ... in a timely and organized, seamless manner. We had a short ceremony, so we didn't rehearse. But I'll never forget Liz coming up to us (separately) with some guided advice on what will work best ... and then the final piece of guidance, handed over with a smile: "Breathe. You're getting married. It's going to be awesome." And it was. The best night of our lives. Thanks to Naturally Yours. We didn't want you at first, and now couldn't imagine our wedding without you. :) 5++++ stars

Fantastic experience: We enjoyed working with Liz as our day of coordinator for our July wedding at Harvest Bible Chapel + Harold Washington Library! The planning worksheet that Naturally Yours Provided was very helpful in keeping me on track. Liz made herself very available to lots of emails. Our church didn't have a designated church coordinator, but Liz was willing to step in as the coordinator for our church ceremony. Prior to being assigned our coordinator, Kristen, was very helpful in serving as a point person for any questions. We are thankful for her taking time to assist us in navigating some catering questions. We are so pleased with how everything turned out!

Fantastic experience: We worked with Liz Breen for day-of coordination for our wedding in April at Loft Lucia, and she made everything so easy!! It was so helpful to have Liz looped in with all our vendors starting a few months out - she gave us a great timeline to work from, and helped us figure out all the last minute details that absolutely would have slipped my mind. She took care of so many things I would have forgotten (a bag for the cards, parking reimbursement to our vendors, tip envelopes etc). We had out of town family and an all out of town wedding party, and I was so glad they just got to enjoy being a part of the wedding and not worrying about getting vendors in on time, etc etc. Liz even carried a giant wood and glass sign back to our hotel for us (she is a strong queen). Loved, loved working with Liz & Naturally Yours and would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: We used Naturally Yours Events for day of coordination services and from the first intro call we knew we were making the right choice. Everyone we spoke to was incredibly kind and organized and the materials they provided from the start were helpful with guiding us through planning. We eventually were matched with Melodie and we cannot say enough good things about her. Mel was such a powerhouse the last couple of months before planning. She kept all our vendors organized, kept us moving through the checklist, and even saved us a few hundred dollars when there was an issue with one of our vendors adding last minute delivery costs. What a boss. The day of, Mel kept all our crazy friends and family moving and she was everyone’s best friend by the end of the night. Everything went off without any issues (that we know about). I’m a type A girlie and needed someone who I could trust to keep things organized on our wedding day and Mel was exactly who I needed.

Mel took the lead and coordinated a beautiful wedding that my company catered (9/15/23) at The District, in Richmond IL; she made my work easy with her knowledge, punctuality, her attention to detail, and helpful hand. As vendors, we know that weddings have many details, deadlines, and lots to get through on the timeline, but Mel’s professionalism and expertise helped us execute it perfectly; everything went awesomely! Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about Naturally Yours Events, and our life-saving Wedding Planner, Lauren West. From the moment we started working with Lauren, she was incredibly helpful, organized, and always knew the right questions to ask. The wedding planning process is very tedious and time-sensitive (even as an event planner myself!) and she made it a breeze. The Planning Tool they provide was vital and really helped me keep all of our information/vendors/payment dates/scheduling etc. all in one place and organized. We had plenty of Zoom meetings, and she stayed on top of vendors to make sure there would be no surprises. And met with the venue several times in person since I live in another state. But none of that even compared to her magic day-of! As we all know, the day goes by quick and she kept everything flowing so smoothly and perfectly. It would NOT have been such a seamless day if it weren’t for her (as well as our other day-of Planner, Danny Barker). Fantastic experience: I am so happy we went with Naturally Yours Events for our day-of-coordination service. We worked with Mel and she could not have been more perfect for us! We had a good bit of DIY elements to our wedding, and Mel was so great at helping me keep track of everything. On the day, she and her team set the reception tables up perfectly! When a couple minor things went awry, Mel handled everything quickly and smoothly. And most importantly, kept the stress away from my husband and me, so that we could just fully enjoy our day! Carlene is the owner of Naturally Yours Events, and worked so diligently to make our wedding dreams come true - and within budget! Fantastic experience: I can't say enough great things about Kristen, who we worked with to plan our wedding in October 2022. We couldn't have done it without her, and let's just say if we had tried, the day would not have gone nearly as smoothly and we would have been much more stressed. I can't emphasize enough how invaluable NYE/Kristen was throughout the planning process; the resources they provided, the experience Kristen has to answer all our random questions and help us ensure all details were thought of, the planning meetings (she never, ever made us feel rushed or that a question wasn't important), awesome recommendations of vendors/places to shop, the coordination with our vendors leading up to and on the day of the wedding --- just wow, so awesome. She also was passionate that our wedding was OURS -- although she made recommendations, ultimately she really helped us with designing all of it to what we love and feel comfortable with instead of just following a script. I also really appreciate that NYE is LGBTQ+ affirming, vaccinated and attentive to Covid safety. We couldn't have picked a better planner for our needs. As a Certified Anxious Person, I was worried about feeling stressed the day of. I feel as if Kristen took away all of the potential anxiety I would normally have felt that day, so I was able to truly enjoy the time spent with friends and family, which is what it's all about!! The day went so smoothly because of her hard work and experience and we will be forever grateful!

Fantastic experience: This review is extremely late (which goes to show how very much we needed a day-of-coordinator), but better late than never! We got married in July, and when people ask me about wedding planning my first recommendation is always GET A DAY-OF COORDINATOR! Liz was awesome - she kept us all on schedule, handled absolutely everything with the vendors, and made sure any issues that may have arisen (I'll never know) were secretly handled. We literally did not have to think about any tasks on our wedding day, we just got to enjoy it.

We booked day-of coordination, but Naturally Yours Events works with you to provide support and ideas from the moment you book them. The planning tool helped us to get organized and easily communicate with Mel. We met with Mel several times on Zoom and were confident that there would be no surprises the day of our wedding. One of my favorite things was that Naturally Yours takes care of correspondence with all other vendors in the weeks leading up to the event. The week of my wedding so many friends and family told me that I seemed surprisingly calm for someone whose wedding was in a week, and it was totally because I knew Mel had everything under control. And there is no experience like walking into your wedding reception to see your vision executed PERFECTLY. We received so many compliments on food, decor, music, etc., and Mel kept everyone on schedule while also being an incredibly upbeat cheerleader all day long. When my friends getting married ask for recommendations, NYE is top of my list!

Fantastic experience: My aunt (from Chi) purchased a wedding coordinator for us for my wedding (in WI). We were paired with Liz and she was amazing! She fully support my vision and wants as the bride. She was also super honest and blunt and I respect that so much, because I am the same way. Liz was so accommodating with my crazy life schedule and living so far away from the City she still worked with us. The spreadsheet and meetings provided were so helpful with staying on track with wedding prep. She made sure small details I never would of thought of were right and prepared for the big day. With rain on the day of, DJ not playing music for the ceremony. She took charge and made sure I still had my music and vision outside. She got some great photos too on her own. She meshed well with my whole group and vendors. I wish I could throw another wedding just go work with her again. She was amazing and exactly what I needed to be stress free and happy on my big day. It’s worth the money and I highly recommend.

We had a lot of DIY projects and personalized touches to include and she and her team set everything up without issue. She also kept us on schedule all day and was my advocate when family drama stirred up. I can't imagine our wedding day running as smothly and perfectly without her. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Naturally Yours Events enough! My fiancé and I worked with Tempris, who went above and beyond to make our big day everything we wanted it to be. Throughout the process of planning, she was always on top it, and she kept both our rehearsal and our wedding day run smoothly and on schedule! After the wedding, there was a miscommunication and our DJ ended up with some stands we rented from another vendor, and Tempris took it upon herself to retrieve the stands and return them for us. We are so happy with how our wedding turned out and cannot thank Tempris enough for all her hard work!

Fantastic experience: If I could give Naturally Yours Events 10 stars I would! My wife and I worked with Liz and Sarah and they did a wonderful job for our wedding. We literally could not have done it without them!! I would call them the glue that held it all together. Liz and Sarah went above and beyond to make our special day an absolute success. Fantastic experience: Honestly, if I could give Lauren and the Naturally Yours team more than 5 stars, I would! We booked Naturally Yours for day-of coordination services back in late 2018/early 2019 after meeting them at a green wedding event. From the start, we were impressed with the way services were detailed and spelled out. We knew exactly what each offering included. We set our wedding date for October of 2020, and Lauren was assigned to us. We had signed up for design services, and she helped me create the perfect vision to pass along to our vendors, something I never would have been able to do myself. Then...COVID came along. Naturally Yours worked with us through two postponements, coaching us every step of the way with what needed to be considered. The team was very clear in spelling out the benefits and risks in waiting, and were patient with us as we decided. Leading up to the day of our wedding, Lauren honestly took care of so many of the details that week that I was almost bored. Everything felt very stress-free and easy, as I knew she was on the lookout for vendor notices and any other details I may not have been thinking of. She crafted the most detailed, helpful timeline I've ever seen, which gave everyone peace of mind as the day finally arrived. Our wedding parties and vendors knew exactly where to be, and most of the day, we were running ahead of schedule, thanks to her communication and organization, making it easy for me to truly sit back and take it all in. I would encourage everyone to consider at least day-of coordination services for a wedding, and to look no further than Naturally Yours. My wife and I had originally planned our wedding for a time early in the pandemic, and Carlene then was already a fantastic help for us in terms of organization, experience, and stability in terms of the planning process. But all of those traits shone through even more as we had to reschedule our wedding several times through the pandemic. More than that, Carlene was indispensable as our trusted advisor and sounding board. She was never pushy, always honest, and we knew she had our best interests at heart. For example, she steered us away from decisions that would be costly and/or poor quality, enabling us to make the most of our budget (which isn’t always easy in Chicago). Carlene helped us make decisions especially during the challenge of postponements and public health mandates amid Covid. At every step of the way, Carlene was quick to respond to emails, happy to jump on calls with us, and answered our many, many questions without missing a beat. She also advocated for us when needed. It was a pleasure to plan with her for an extra year! On the day of the wedding, we were surrounded by incredible vendors all recommended by Naturally Yours. Carlene and Kristen worked magic behind the scenes. Carlene came prepared for everything, from fixing my husband’s boutonniere to sewing my bustle. I also forgot my dad’s gift at the hotel; she was able to have it brought to us before walking down the aisle. The photos of my dad and me at that moment are some of the most precious from the day - and they wouldn’t exist without her. Our guests complimented how smoothly everything ran. The whole day was on time, and flowed thoughtfully. Naturally Yours is an incredible value add for your wedding. And they’re a member of the Green Wedding Alliance, which is a bonus :)

Fantastic experience: We worked with Naturally Yours Events for quite a while as we had to go through the process of rescheduling throughout the pandemic. They were always there for us and helpful reviewing contracts and navigating the tough times. We partnered with Liz for our event and we couldn't have been happier with the entire process. She was so good at making sure we were thinking of every scenario but making us comfortable and excited throughout. Liz was extremely organized and there for us whenever we needed her. We would not have been able to have the amazing day/night we did without Liz's help leading up to our event. Fantastic experience: I do not know where to begin. From the consult call with one of the owners, to the planning meetings, rehearsal and day of our experience it was ALL amazing. This company knows what they are doing, they are ELITE. Liz B, our coordinator crushed it. I mean literally, the number of people involved in our wedding party that commented on this was laughable, they kept saying she was great and asking where we found her. She was SO organized. Fantastic experience: Well like most other reviews I really don't know we're to start. We were suppose to have our wedding last year in August and like many other we had to postone. We had a previous wedding coordinator and she was awful. Caused so much unneeded stress. After a while we decided it would be better to do things on our own vs with the old planner. About a month went by and we realized we had no idea what to do. I looked around and stumbled on naturally yours events based on the reviews. I called in and got a call back maybe 10 minutes later. The wedding was only 60 days away and Kristen was already booked up with two other weddings that month. Knowing she couldn't do it she stilled stayed on the phone for an hour to help us out as she felt so bad for our situation. She called back a day later and said she wasn't going to let us go through something so bad again. I mean what a sign of relief. Someone with an actually functioning heart. Hard to come across these days. She was amazing from beginning to the end. She reminded us of tasks made recommendations and always called back same day of not minutes later. Fantastic experience: Where do I even begin? Kristen wowed me from our first phone call with her thoughtful questions and genuine enthusiasm, and it only got better from there. We engaged NYE for "day-of" coordination, but it was SO much more than that. My (now) husband and I had an incredibly thorough introductory meeting with Kristen months before our wedding date, and another two weeks before in which she walked us through every single detail of how we wanted our wedding to go. I had been feeling very overwhelmed by the entire wedding planning process at that point, but Kristen made all the little details fall into place gracefully. Not only did she make every decision easy, it was clear every step of the way that she wanted what was best for US. She knew exactly when to make recommendations (on things we weren't sure about like timing, tables, etc.) and when to execute exactly what we knew we wanted (like helping me surprise my groom with a cake based on our favorite TV show and catching his reaction on camera). Kristen helped us with ever-changing hair + makeup timelines, bridal party email templates, complicated contracts, and just about every single detail you can imagine goes into planning a wedding. On the actual day, I felt her presence more than I saw her, because she was off ensuring everything ran perfectly--which it did. Fantastic experience: As we planned our wedding, we read through reviews on every vendor before picking up the phone, or emailing them for more information. NYE was hands down one of our favorite vendors - Kristen was amazing. We knew we were in good hands from the get go. They were extremely cost effective, as everything adds up ridiculously quickly for Chicago weddings - they didn't reflect the ugly grind we saw from other potential vendors as we were searching for the vendor team for our venue. Even leading up to the big day, I texted her in a panic as the popcorn favor order was WAY bigger than we thought, and she responded right away, and I dropped it off at NYE so it was one less (of MANY) thing we had to worry about. Fantastic experience: We hired Naturally Yours Events to help keep track of our wedding since we were planning from out of state. We worked with Kristen for the partial planning package and she was incredible! We had a very complicated Indian-American fusion wedding with 2 ceremonies and a reception all in the same day. Unfortunately she was already booked for a wedding on my day, but their up-and-coming planner Jessie was still available and thank god she was. Let me tell you, there are not enough superlatives out there for me to express how wonderful Jessie is. She is incredibly nice and friendly but will absolutely kick ass to get your wedding perfect for you. She wants to know exactly how you envision your day to be and will work her hardest to make sure that vision comes true. I'm definitely what you would call a Type A personality, so at first I had a bit of trouble handing over the reigns. Once I got to know Jessie and realized how awesome she was at this whole wedding planning stuff, I had no problem trusting her to take care of all the details and she did such an amazing job. She set up our decorations beautifully - I actually gasped when I first walked into the venue, I was so shocked at how great it looked. Also, she took care of everything. I'm sure things went wrong that day because there were a ton of moving pieces, but I don't know of a single one. Jessie just handled everything (even making sure my wine glass was adequately filled) so I was able to relax and actually enjoy all of my wedding. I can't recommend them enough. Stop whatever you're doing right now and call / email / hire these women.

Fantastic experience: Our wedding was 10/17/14. My husband and I had been planing the wedding for about a month and signed Carlene on as our Day Of Coordinator (DOC) ten months before our wedding date. We found her from a few Green Wedding Alliance events that we attended and were very impressed with her down to earth approach to weddings. We are not your typical 'wedding people' and really were not looking forward at all to plan a wedding. We had been engaged for 5 years and it took a lot for us to take that step and finally make the event happen. Needless to say, Carlene played a huge part in allowing us to actually 'enjoy the journey' of wedding planning. We met with her early on and she shared a wedding planning tool with us that made our lives so much easier. I was able to run any question by her, even asking about things related to our gift registry and etiquette of who to invite to the wedding. I was not going to have any flowers because our event was being held in a vintage store, but at one of our last meetings Carlene suggested we think about a few strategically placed floral pieces to give a feminine feel to a masculine room. We talked about a budget of only $150.00 for the flowers and I told her if she could find someone good to deliver on that budget, we would go for it. She definitely found us an awesome florist (Becca Blue) and the flowers were perfect! We also found out early on after we had already put a deposit on our venue that the people who owned our venue (Brimfield) could be very difficult to work with. Carlene had previous experience with them and she discussed with us what could go wrong. It definitely made me nervous about having a terrible wedding day experience but Carlene calmed me down and we came up with a good plan on how to deal with the venue vendors. In the end, there were venue vendor road bumps on the day of our wedding, but Carlene handled things and we did not have to endure the stress on our special day. I really cannot thank her enough for everything, but that alone was more than worth having her as our DOC. Carlene is not only an amazing professional at what she does, but she's a lovely,fun person.
