My daughter and I both live out of town (wedding was in Wilmington), and I could not have asked for a better wedding planner who really connected with my daughter and put my mind at ease. She worked with us through the details of the rehearsal, the rehearsal dinner, welcome party, wedding day preparations, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. From their very first meeting, she listened to Shelby and made recommendations based on her experience, creating the wedding of Shelby's dreams, including a stunning display for our cookie table. She paid attention to all the details, worked seamlessly with the vendors and venues, as well as ran around during the wedding weekend making sure that everything was taken care of so that we could relax and enjoy our time together with family and friends. We didn't have to think about anything...Amy took care of it all! During the welcome party, my son-in-law put his arm around me, and said the night was everything he imagined it to be, it was just what they wanted. All of us enjoying being together in celebration and having fun! I would say that about the entire weekend, and so much of the credit goes to Amy and her wonderful team. She is organized, creative, passionate, caring, and professional in all her interactions; so easy to work with. She offered to take care of things like creating bud vases for the rehearsal dinner, setting out the welcome boxes at Friday night's party, using her own containers for the dessert table; "little" things that were meaningful and eased our minds. Amy and each member of her team whom we worked with went above and beyond. I felt like we were their only clients and all their time, effort and attention were on us. I can't say enough about how incredibly thankful I am that Shelby chose Do Me a Favor Weddings and Events to work with to create such a special memory for our family!

The entire process, she was considerate of the budget that we set and at several points, worked closely with me to ensure we made cost efficient decisions. Experiencia fantástica: I worked with Caitlyn and Amy for my wedding and I could not have been happier! I met these two about two months before my wedding and was immediately blown away not only by their attention to detail and guidance, but by their warmth and kindness. These two make you feel like family right from the beginning and I was so thrilled to find people I knew I could trust to help me make our big day incredible. When the day came, I honestly don't think I lifted a finger to help set up. I walked out into the reception area and was absolutely shocked to see the perfection they had created. Every small detail I asked for, every vase, every picture frame, ever flower, was exactly where I wanted. I cannot thank them enough for the love and care they put in to making my day wonderful and for making me laugh through all the stress!

We chose day-of coordination, and she blew me away with her persistence and calming demeanor. She was there for us every step of the way from our very first phone call. I was blown away by her attention to detail and her persistence with making sure that every little thing was taken care of. She even added her own personal touches to our decor for centerpieces at the wedding and at our rehearsal dinner. She really went above and beyond and we couldn’t have done it without her!

They advocated for me and made sure the day was about my husband and I. All of this during a pandemic!!! Words can’t describe how much I love these ladies for truly becoming friends through this wild process. We planned this wedding three times and each time they went above and beyond to make it happen.
