Fantastic experience: So pleased with the surprise vow renewal I booked for friends while on Kauai! Communication was excellent, the groom was in on it but the wife had no idea! Fantastic experience: I did some pretty extensive research and landed with sweet Hawaiian weddings for our 15 year vow renewal ceremony. The entire process was easy and the representative CoCo we worked with throughout the planning process was amazing and genuinely seemed to be invested in our special day; it didn't just feel like a transaction. Our officiant Lawrence was amazing. Dustin our photographer went above and beyond. The ceremony and setting were perfect! Highly recommend.

Negative experience: Lady says they dont plan weddings 6 months in advance because of covid. That makes no sense. What's the point of a 200 deposit then? I'm upset because I really liked their packages and I'm just trying to be responsible and plan out my trip and wedding but if they don't want my money at this time I guess I'll go somewhere else

Fantastic experience: Sweet Hawaii Weddings gave us the wedding of our dreams! Jacqueline is so sweet, creative, and knowledgeable. She listened to us and helped us plan the service. Her husband did our service and her son videotaped the beautiful service. We watch it every year on our anniversary. We chose Waimanalo Bay as our location because of the beach and the forest, and the Rabbit Islands were used as an object lesson which has stuck with us. I highly recommend Sweet Hawaii Weddings!

Fantastic experience: Christine and I got married on Wed Dec 4 in the mid afternoon. The weather was beautiful. Jacqueline and Coco were very pleasant and easy to communicate with by email, text or when we called. Our minister Ellsworth conducted a beautiful ceremony on Waimanalo Bay Beach with his words of wisdom, ukulele playing, singing and blowing of the conch shell. We learned Hawaiian words of importance and value, and it was truly a Hawaiian style ceremony that we will always remember. The photographer Dustin did a spectacular job. Keala set up a wonderful wedding space on the beach and truly represents Aloha in every way to everybody. Very nice decor and setup we had and kukui gift leis to keep and cherish as well as our plant and flower leis. It was everything we could want and more, and very special as the best day of our lives together to remember for always. Waimanalo Bay beach is the most beautiful beach we could have done this on anywhere in the world and it was perfect.We came back a week later to go for a ocean dip and see it in the afternoon again to keep this place in our minds and hearts. We would definitely love to come back again and see Maui and Kauai or Big Island.

Photographer was so wonderful Dustin put us at ease pictures was top notch. Heidi did my hair and makeup and I was very pleased with her work! Fantastic experience: On October 1, 2019 Sweet Hawaii Wedding performed our wedding at Waimanalo Bay in Oahu and it was perfect! The wedding day was magical with perfect weather and scenery. The location was so beautiful. Mr. Fisher performed the wedding and it included all the Hawaiian traditions we asked for. My bouquet was more than I can ever imagine. The colors were vibrant and I was able to travel back home with them to show my family. I also ordered hair and makeup and the stylist was very accommodating and did everything I asked for. I strongly recommend Sweet Hawaii Wedding for your wedding needs in Oahu. They were easy to work with and very professional. My pictures came out beautiful as well. Thank you for making my day magical!

Fantastic experience: Trying to plan a wedding from over 4,000 miles away was becoming a daunting, scary task. So many details to arrange... starting with the obvious things like flowers, to the easily overlooked but even more important items such as a beach permit to have a beach wedding, a licensed minister with a permit to perform a beach wedding, a good photographer, etc. But then I found Sweet Hawaii Wedding! No more worries. None! They had so many wedding packages to choose from, they easily accommodated what I had I mind. Never having been to Hawaii, and because they had several locations I could choose from, I decided to describe the beach setting I had in mind and see what they recommended. They picked Waimanalo Beach. It was perfect, exactly what I had described I wanted for my wedding. Our flowers were so beautiful and the heart shaped flowers in the sand was such a perfect added touch. They even sent a beautician to my hotel room to do my hair, and she did exactly what I told her I wanted. The photographer took excellent pictures, and was willing to photograph any special poses we had in mind. He was very patient and we ended up with such gorgeous pictures. They went above and beyond making sure the wedding was exactly what we wanted. They even incorporated our own vows into the ceremony Everyone that sees our pictures describes it as a "story book wedding". I can't think Sweet Hawaii Wedding enough for making our special day so perfect.

Fantastic experience: lovely weddings with a creative flair...... Reverend Colin and Jacqueline are such fun to work with and the authenticity of their Hawaii weddings are unique and colorful. And they have the most magical location to perform and film their weddings ....right on a 3 mile long white sand beach. Sweet Hawaii wedding is a magical experience.

Fantastic experience: We got married with sweet Hawaii wedding and we had the most beautiful wedding we could ever dreamed. They helped us with all the arrangements and suggested the best tips for a wonderful ceremony. The photographer was great, he took very beautiful pictures and with good taste. We strongly recommend Jaqueline and her husband for a traditional Hawaiian wedding.

Fantastic experience: I don't have one negative thing to say about Jacqueline or Coco. This wedding was beyond my wildest dreams (and I'm a pretty big dreamer!!) I honestly did a lot of research for our destination wedding and I found sweet hawaii to be the cheapest on the island, when I saw they had good reviews I decided to book them. Best decision I made. James (the book keeper) answered so many of my questions and he had to bare with me changing ideas quite often. When we got there Jacqueline welcomed me to her house like we were her family. It says on their website that they welcome you as family , and they mean that literally. They are there to help you anyway they can on the island. I expected the wedding planner to be hyper organized and cold, but Jacqueline was warm, artistic, and radiated kindness. Now, we ordered cake, flowers, a hair:makeup girl, a masseuse, and photographer. Being a destination wedding, I was terrified that the photographer and makeup artist would be subpar. I was very stressed about this. The makeup artist did better than I imagined. She made me look like a celebrity. I looked her up online later and saw she had an insanely impressive résumé as a beautician. Doing big names and Groups in hawaii. The photographer was amazing!!!! It is very obvious that Dustin is a seasoned photographer. If I had known how good he was I would have ordered more time with him. My husband said the masseuse was amazing. The cake was beautiful and I had no idea what to pick for flowers. Jacqueline looked at my outfit and picked the best bouquet for me. The wedding itself was perfect. Coco's ceremony was beautiful. The story he told touched my husband. I have never strongly recommended a company before, but if you are looking at destination weddings, stop looking and book with them. You won't regret it!

Fantastic experience: Got married in September 2015. Couldn't have asked for better!! From James, Jacqueline, Dustin, and Kahu Coco, everyone was so nice, accommodating, etc. Can't say enough. It's as if they could read our minds. The spot on Makapu'u Beach that they set up on was perfect. Very spiritual. The weather even cooperated. It was rainy the day before, that morning, and afterwards. But not for the ceremony! Even the uninvited guests were not a problem. The leis, and flowers were so perfect, so beautiful. The cake and sparkling cider were delicious. If all this sounds over the top, it's because it was an EPIC wedding!
