Fantastic experience: My experience with Weddings of Hawaii have been 5 stars. The website is simplified with detailed descriptions to venues and packages made it so easy for me and my husband to pick that was just right for us. Our wedding at Noelani garden was stunning and it couldn't have been perfect without the company's coordinators! We were worried about weather but even the weather was perfect so we felt like we were in a movie the whole time. The photographer took beautiful photos of us and it is going to be very difficult choosing our most favorites because they all are so beautiful. We cannot wait to see how our video turns out! Communicating with the coordinators was a smooth process. I had sooo many questions throughout the process since I am a very detailed person, but they answered in a professional and friendly manner from start to end. It was very organized that all we needed to do was pick the venue and get ready for wedding dress and suit. I also have to say the hair and make up artists were professionals. I had some inspo pictures and they did amazing job perfecting what I envisioned. Our mothers were happy getting their hair and make up exactly how they wanted too. My good friend recommended me this company in the beginning. Now, from my own experience, I can say for sure I also highly recommend for your special day! . Thank you so much! From start to finish the communication was great and everything was handled with little input from us. From the officiant to the photography/video team, everyone was great and made our special day very stressfree. Fantastic experience: Weddings of Hawaii was amazing to work with, they set up everything to make our day go as smoothly as possible while still making the whole event feel very special. I would highly recommend them. The venue location (Nalo Gardens on Oahu) was incredible and the photographer/videographer were great to work with, they made it feel like we had a 5 location shoot in just a couple of hours. We also had no issue with our paperwork and received our marriage license out of state shortly after the ceremony. If you are considering using Weddings of Hawaii, definitely do it!

Fantastic experience: What we wanted was a singular partner who could provide all of the services we could need for a dream wedding in Hawaii. We looked at options for other companies and hotels and none of them had the packages that WoH had. You will find no others that are even close to what this team will do for you. The venues were also the best selection of anywhere on the islands. Planning and communication was great for the year + we had worked with them. The greatness of the team and their partners for hair and makeup by Izumi, our photographer Sarah and our videographer Tom were elite in talent, energy and fun. Annie our day of organizer met us at our ceremony and had everything perfect. She managed it all and helped with my wife's dress even! Zach our officiant was spectacular, like a friend i had known for years. The dancer and musician gave us ther perfect Hawaiian day! Bobby our driver was great and gave us a scenic tour with our time remaining. We will tell anyone needing any services that Weddings of Hawaii can provide to just start and stop your search with them!

Fantastic experience: We had our wedding at Kualoa Beach Park with Weddings of Hawaii this past September, and it was perfect! The staff were so kind and patient, answering all our questions without judgment and making the whole process stress-free—especially since we were planning from out of state. Fantastic experience: Where do I start?? We got married about 13 days ago, and thanks to Weddings of Hawaii, we had the perfect wedding. We felt that everything went so smoothly and when our guests told us how amazing and beautiful the ceremony was, that’s when we knew for sure. Fantastic experience: This wedding planner was absolutely amazing. They walk you through the process step by step and ensure your vision becomes a reality. The staff are incredible and accommodating and will always respond to your questions. I never felt overwhelmed or pressured to add things I didn’t want or need. The officiant (Brian) and photographer (Sarah) exceeded our expectations. They were so wonderful to work with. We were doing a vow renewal and they ensured our ceremony was as special as if we were doing it all for the first time. I highly recommend this planning service.

Fantastic experience: Recently got married in Honolulu mid August 2025 and it was absolutely incredible. Weddings of Hawaii’s team was prompt, thorough, easily reachable and answered each and every question. I traveled from the east coast and the only item I personally needed to track and worry about, was getting my wedding dress safely to Hawaii. Make up and hair ladies were at my hotel early (amazing), limo was waiting for me at scheduled time with cold waters for after the ceremony. Officiant, photographer and videographer were on sight waiting for me once I arrived to my wedding location. All of whom were amazing people. SEAMLESS for the bride and groom. The effort, care and time that was put into my wedding by Weddings of Hawaii was beyond extraordinary, and I am now left with memories that are dream-like. Fantastic experience: We eloped 1 year ago and the WOH team helped us keep it secret until we shared with our family on our anniversary(this week)! They made the process so seamless and the photos as well as video we got is amazing. The videographer created different videos for us, from reels for instagram to highlight moments. Our photos capture each of our personalities perfectly. I cannot recommend this team enough. They ensured everything in our high tier package was completed, and the private venue was ready to go. They coordinated everything from start to finish, and we received everything back in a timely manner.

Negative experience: I’m writing this review with mixed feelings. Everyone I worked with was very friendly responded quickly and was relatively easy to book with. However, the part that really bothered us was we had asked for a Christian ceremony and we were not doing our own vows. When they start the ceremony and are filming, it seemed a bit off but I think maybe they are doing a neutral ceremony which I didn’t want but would be ok with. Then the officiant begins praying to nature mentions the gods in plural and starts talking about reincarnation and knowing each other in our other lives. I was shocked but didn’t know what to do in the moment. Us and our family are Christian and my mother bought the video package as a wedding gift and now I don’t want her to even see it as she is very religious. Weddings of Hawaii does a phone call a week or 2 before to make sure everything was right. During this phone call they verified that we wanted a Christian ceremony and we were not doing our own vows. Before the ceremony had began they arrived with the wrong bouquet and did not bring the hair piece or cake for this package. They mentioned they grabbed the 2pm wedding bag instead of ours so maybe they also mixed up our ceremony styles with theirs as well? Luckily the other brides bouquet was beautiful so we began the photoshoot with it before the ceremony while they grabbed our real stuff 15ish mins away. (Flower mix up did not bother us at all and was actually a bonus). The photographer was very nice and did an excellent job helping with our nerves and awkwardness. After everything was over we did email the company to warn them so hopefully the wedding later in the day didn’t receive our style ceremony instead. Weddings of Hawaii did email back saying their records showed we had requested a Christian ceremony and they would look into it. They offered to print some free photos of the wedding. In hindsight I should have stopped the ceremony to tell them but I am very shy and did not. Overall everyone was very nice and professional including the officiant I just left feeling like I did not receive a marriage between God and my spouse which was our reason for having a ceremony.

Fantastic experience: We had our wedding in Hawaii recently, and Weddings of Hawaii made it truly unforgettable. We travelled all the way from Singapore, and despite being two foreigners visiting the island, everything was so well managed from start to finish. They had been following up with us very closely prior to the wedding, which gave us so much confidence and peace of mind. The team was super friendly yet highly professional, making us feel completely at ease. Even though our wedding was simple, with just my husband and me, everything was absolutely perfect, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. They even went above and beyond by suggesting beautiful places for us to visit during our time in Hawaii. Fantastic experience: We started working with the team from Weddings of Hawaii 6 months prior to our event. My husband and I renewed our vows in celebration of our 30th Wedding Anniversary. Correspondence via email was prompt and the team was receptive to any questions we had as the date drew closer. I was worried things may go wrong on the day of the ceremony given we were traveling from California--we had no worries or mishaps as the the onsite team were excellent to work with, especially Annie who made sure my husband and I were well taken care off. We highly recommend Weddings of Hawaii if you are wanting to plan a destination wedding or vow renewal ceremony in Hawaii. Our location at Magic Island was perfect with the background view of the water and Diamond Head. Weather was perfect for a 4pm later afternoon ceremony. Fantastic experience: We used Weddings of Hawaii for a small vow renewal and were so pleased with the whole experience. The process leading up to the event is so well organized and communication was great. We chose Waialae Beach for our location. It was so beautiful and perfect. We can’t wait to see our pictures! The officiant was wonderful and made us all feel so comfortable. She led us through a lovely ceremony and even led us in a blessing over our children who were there with us. The photographer was also great and gave good direction and had creative ideas for the pictures. Fantastic experience: Planning an elopement with Weddings of Hawaii was so stress-free! I loved the breakdown of all their packages on their website and how easy it was to communicate with the coordinators. The planning process and wedding day went smoothly. They provided specific directions and time for the ceremony location, where the photographer and officiant were waiting for us. Multiple couples were getting married on the same beach that day, but we were able to take photos without people in the background. Photography ended up taking 6 weeks to send us our gallery, but it was worth the additional fee for digital photos.

Fantastic experience: I was a bride in April, got married on Kahala beach. Everything with this company went so smooth and was amazing. Our officant was truly great, the hula dancer and ukulele player were well worth the extra money paid. So happy with every part of the service including our photos and video. Fantastic experience: My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Weddings of Hawaii back in 2019. Everything was thoughtfully arranged for our ceremony, and with the base package, we received beautiful leis and 10 high-quality prints that we have framed in our house today. Now, five years later, I reached out to see if there was any chance they still had our wedding photos, and to my surprise, they did. Tanya responded so quickly and was incredibly kind and helpful. She made it easy for us to access and purchase the digital files from our special day, and we’re so grateful. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Rev Mike was the absolute best. He performed our ceremony as if he had know us all of our lives. The photographer and Videographer worked very well together. Fantastic experience: Amazing service! Very responsive and very professional! We hired a hula dancer and a singer and they were both so awesome! Our officient was amazing! She blew our minds! We felt so organized and well taken care of from my 1st email to saying our goodbyes on the beach!

Positive experience: The wedding turned out fine, but overall it was not worth the price and stress to use this company. When calling and planning, we were given some conflicting information. All selections were reviewed and there was extensive discussion before the wedding to ensure smooth sailing. The groom was stressed when he arrived earlier and no one was there. We paid for chairs and selected our venue specifically to have chairs for older people in attendance. I was told they would be set up a half hour before. Chairs were not even starting to get set up until 15 minutes before the wedding. People sat just minutes before. The groom had to try to assist and didn't know where to tell people to go. Then someone apparently told them to sit bride and groom side, although we communicated just bride's family was in attendance. This emphasized that the groom lacked support and was really uncomfortable. We specifically discussed that people can sit as they wish and no sides when reviewing with in adance with the coordinator. When I arrived, I had to ask why people were seated so oddly and then it was fixed with my complaint. Also just before walking down the aisle, I had to flag someone down to pause to point out the aisle petals were not down. Then the videographer quickly laid them out. Everything was very chaotic. The officiant wanted to discuss all the details in front of all guests turned and watching rather than reading what was already discussed or discussing it in the parking lot before walking to the site. The groom was calling and stressed not knowing where to stand or how to direct the guests. After the wedding, out marriage certificate wasn't processed in a timely manner. Luckily I got a warning email about the license application about to expire and found out that the officiant didn't fill it out. It got taken care of but was weeks delayed. Overall it was nice, but I would have expected it to be smoother.

Fantastic experience: We had our wedding through Weddings of Hawaii over this past weekend. Everyone communicated so well and in advance. Leading up to the ceremony, transportation, the ceremony itself and getting back to the hotel was the most relaxing part of our trip. The hair and make up artist Sarah was very experienced and was able to replicate a look with just one look at a photo. Our limo driver was professional, early and great at driving through traffic. The officiant was so kind, guided us well through the ceremony and shared beautiful words. If we had known the photographer and videographer were so excellent ahead of time, we would have booked them for a second location or additional time. That's our only regret!

Fantastic experience: We booked Weddings of Hawaii for our 5 year wedding renewal and had an amazing ceremony right on the beach with professional of photographer and officiant. Greg was our photographer and was amazing. He was very kind, helpful, and offered great photography recommendations. We trusted him with all of the shots and we were not disappointed. Ellsworth was our officiant and he did an amazing Hawaiian ceremony that was very respectful, funny and touching. They both made our experience memorable and it was worth every penny. Parking at our location was very tight and we showed up a little late so they offered us a discount on the video to make up for some of our lost time.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was very nice which made me feel less anxious about organizing a wedding in another country. Fantastic experience: Weddings of Hawaii made a dream come true! we had been in Hawaii for nearly a week with perfect cotton candy sunrises every morning so we were really looking forward to our 6am sunrise wedding being the same. Mother nature had different plans.That morning we woke up and it was a downpour that went on for hours not like normal Hawaii showers. Determined that rain or shine we were doing this we headed out in blinding rain. The curls from my hair fell and the make up smudged and faded, his feet were soaked but when we arrived to Sandy Beach and our officiant opened the limo door...the rain paused! It stopped just long enough for our ceremony and pics! Special thanks to Kimo and our ukulele player Henry. They were so sweet and playful but knew how to make this ceremony perfect! It is NOT the vision we had in our heads but we wouldnt change a thing. The pics are beautiful and show the dramatic skies that would soon pour again as soon as the wedding was done! Thank you for everything weddings of Hawaii! You and our team do make dreams come true! If rain is lucky on a wedding day then our marriage is blessed for life!!

Fantastic experience: I cannot speak highly enough about Wedding of Hawaii. My husband and I decided to elope 2 weeks ago. We started the process with them months prior. Since the very beginning, they were extremely helpful, kind and understanding. As it got closer and we got to our wedding. They allowed us to have to much ease about the process. They were always so prompt from our phone calls, and even on our day. Our wedding day was so special and relaxing. My make up artist was amazing and kind. Our officiant was so sweet and made our ceremony so special, and our Photographer Sara was so fun, cheerful and kind. I'm not a planner kind of person so having this service who have a team of amazing people made it so smooth and easy! It was exactly what we hoped for and more. The morning of our wedding, we got to take a nice walk, grab coffee and breakfast. So perfect, relaxing and special!

Fantastic experience: This has been the most worth it experience and the most beautiful stress free wedding of our lives! We are so glad to have opted for eloping to Hawaii and we live in Vegas. It was a beautiful day, took our time without the pressure. The staff was very helpful and did everything they can to ensure we had everything we needed for that day! They assisted us from start to finish and for any other questions in between. We were able to enjoy a few days in Hawaii and stopped by to get our wedding certificate at the court house and all the info was provided to us. It didn’t even take longer than 20 mins to obtain. The day of the wedding we got to spend so much time relaxing before getting ready. Our photographer and minister were so amazing! Melanie and Mr. Cain thank you both so much for making us feel comfortable and that the day was about us! I am so glad we chose to elope because this was a memory we both will never forget!!!

Fantastic experience: Booked our package over a year and a half in advance from the start everyone who we worked with was very nice and helpful. Once we got closer and started finalizing plans staff was amazing and any new changes that came about were taken care of immediately. We even decided to add a Limo 4 days prior to the wedding which was our mistake but Weddings of Hawaii was able to accomodate us. Our phone call 2 weeks prior to the wedding was so informative about how our day would be going and once our special day came everything was just as described and planned! Our experience was 10/10, we would choose them over and over again! Thank you Weddings of Hawai'i for our special day.

Everything ran perfectly smoothly - the team are so professional and truly experts in making sure everything goes the way it should. My husband and I are from the UK, so were flying almost to the other side of the world for our wedding. Fantastic experience: In March of this year, I won my company's President's Club award which included a trip to Big Island, HI. My fiancé and I had been discussing eloping and thought what better opportunity than when the trip is covered?? I wasn't sure we'd be able to pull it together quickly but then I discovered Weddings of Hawaii and they created absolute magic. The coordinators were all very responsive, ensuring I had every detail needed to decide on our package, date, and time. Once the contract was signed they answered all of my dozens of minute questions (I'm a program manager by trade so I can't escape the details). The week leading up to our wedding we got reminders and tips & tricks which I found very helpful especially since we'd be so far away from home. They found us the most amazing vendors, as well: My hair and makeup artist, Kassi was phenomenal! She arrived at my hotel room and it was like meeting an old friend; she immediately put me at ease, listened to all of my desires, and made the experience fun and relaxing. Most of all, she worked some miracles with my hair and makeup; I've never felt more beautiful! Our officiant, Brian, was so sweet; he delivered a beautiful service, including some Hawaiian traditions which he provided the history for, and then gave us space to say our own vows. Our photographer, Jimmy, made the time on a two-hour photoshoot fly by - he was funny and creative, and an absolute joy to work with. Our videographer, Sophia, was absolutely lovely and actually sketched us taking our vows - we now have a one-of-a-kind piece of art to go with all of our other treasures from the day. If you're looking to have a wedding, vow renewal, or elopement, I cannot recommend Weddings of Hawaii enough. 12/10 experience and we are so grateful!!

Fantastic experience: Weddings of Hawaii made our elopement stress-free, fun and beautiful.The coordinators instant communication, helpful tips and friendly service made planning our wedding from Australia super easy and exciting. I had Mai do my hair and makeup and she was super sweet, she made the whole experience of getting ready to be married fun and special. My hair and makeup were beautiful, she was excellent at combining my inspiration pictures, what would be flattering for me and also ensuring the look would withstand the wind and heat. Our photographer Greg was amazing, I usually feel very awkward when it comes to photos but he made the experience fun and comfortable. He talked us through everything, accommodated our photography requests and knew all the spots at our location for the best photos . We received some photos the day of the wedding which was lovely as we could share them with family back home. The rest of our photos were ready in under two weeks and they are stunning! Our celebrant Brian was very calming, with beautiful words and even some laughs! Our shell leis are so beautiful we had them framed. Thankyou to everyone at WOH for making our dream wedding possible. We can’t wait to come back for a vow renewal !

The hairstylist and makeup artist I had was a wonderful girl, who truly did an amazing job with my look. She made me feel comfortable and confident and executed what I had asked for perfectly. She was kind and directed us to get the perfect shots. She let us be playful and gave us freedom to chose some poses and different sceneries on the beach. Fantastic experience: Our renewal ceremony was perfect from start to finish. Exactly what we wanted. Everything was so smooth and seamless. The chauffeur was polite, friendly and professional. The officiant was so lovely and understood us straight away. He completely hit the right tone, as did the photographer who even sent us some photos via Airdrop on my mobile so that we could let friends and family in on the surprise ahead of the digital photos being available.

Fantastic experience: My husband Matt and I got married at Secret Beach on February 21st, 2024. We began the process with Weddings of Hawaii exactly 1 year prior to our ceremony date. From start to finish, the coordinating team went above and beyond our expectations. We received extremely professional and prompt responses when clarifying information and/or sending an inquiry regarding our package. The straightforward and 100% stress free process was an absolute breath of fresh air when planning one of the most important events between you and your significant other. We were fortunate to have rain on our wedding day, which is viewed as a fertility blessing, representing well wishes, and signifies your marriage will last. There were so many sentimental details connected with the Hawaiian culture included that we personally loved and were surprised with by the officiant. We are forever grateful that we had family members and friends who captured beautiful pictures/videos during our ceremony so we're able to share these now before receiving the professional pictures within the next month. (Can you believe these are not the professional pictures???) I'm very glad we took the time to think about our response prior to posting this review. We have some very exciting news! 2 weeks and 1 day after our wedding ceremony date, and we officially have received our marriage certificate from Hawaii! WOW! We are OFFICIALLY Mr. & Mrs. McDougald!

Fantastic experience: Our experience with Weddings of Hawaii truly surpassed our expectations. From the very beginning, the coordinators quickly and pleasantly answered any and all questions and concerns that we had. They were all so helpful and kind and never made us feel like any question was a silly one (and probably some of them were). Everything was organized and planned out perfectly. We opted for a limousine to take us to and from our location and that experience was great, as well. Our driver was kind, helpful and made sure that all of our needs were met while also getting us to and from our location in a timely manner and without any of the additional stress of having to drive ourselves or organize a ride to and from our beach ceremony. Upon arrival at our location, my husband and I were greeted so warmly by our on-site team. I cannot stress enough just how kind and friendly our officiant, musician and photographer were. Our officiant explained what was to be expected, and both he and our photographer were patient and understanding -- they not only listened to and respected our wishes, but they also made our 9 year old feel very much involved in our ceremony, as well. I am so, so appreciative of these gentlemen and I sincerely hope that they know how their calm, friendly demeanor made such an impact on our day. We will never forget them or our experience! Overall, we are so happy that we chose Weddings of Hawaii to help us facilitate our vow renewal ceremony.
