Negative experience: This is a review from a vendor prospective. We were working with Kenna to try to curate a custom event. They had some trouble finding a venue and had not been able to get those spaces locked in. We were very empathetic to there situation so we tried very hard to help them. Over seven weeks and continuing to nickle and dime us they would not sign the agreement we had to release the soft hold on the date. This lead them to get very aggressive and send several legal threats and to tarnish our local reputation. If you looking for a group with your best interests on your big day then they may not be for you.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I were married in June of 2022 in New York City. With neither of us having family in the tri-state area, we knew we needed a wedding planner that has relationships with the best vendors and venues NYC has to offer. After our first interview with Kate we fell in love with her and her team’s energy and philosophy. We shared our vision and she immediately understood us as a couple and what it is we wanted for our wedding and from our planner. Kate and her team promptly drew up a calendar to keep us organized and informed, helping us avoid surprises. We can wholeheartedly say the planning process was an absolute dream. We truly enjoyed the months leading up to our big day, from venue tours & cake tasting to checking in with Kate and her team over a glass of wine… she somehow managed to make sure the smallest details were addressed without overwhelming us. KEE tended to and coordinated all aspects of our wedding including our rehearsal dinner at an Upper East Side mansion, our wedding day at St. Patrick’s and a fabulous Manhattan hotel, and our farewell breakfast. Her relationships with vendors enabled us to have everything we wanted, down to a custom round dance floor, allocated bourbon selections, and a string quartet for cocktail hour. Over the course of our wedding week KEE worked tirelessly to ensure everything was perfect, seeing each detail through down to the departure of our guests. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives and we owe that entirely to Kate Edmonds Events. We cannot thank them enough for such a wonderful experience from start to finish!

Fantastic experience: Kate was the most amazing wedding planner. I couldn't recommend her enough. My husband and I relied on her throughout the entire wedding planning process and the wedding itself. She knows all the great NYC-area (and beyond) wedding venues like the back of her hand and helped us choose an amazing spot. She connected us with fantastic vendors we never would have found on our own (catering, live music, florists, etc). I feel like we got great value for our budget here as well. And on the day of the wedding, she couldn't have been more helpful. The event played out like a perfectly choreographed dance. And she was the choreographer, directing the entire production over the entire evening. To this day, we still have friends telling us our wedding was the nicest wedding they've ever attended. Amazing food. Great music. Beautiful floral arrangements. The truth is none of this would have happened if not for Kate.

Fantastic experience: Kate and her team are true miracle workers! I wish I could fully put in to words just how much they did for us. She helped us plan the best wedding in less than a year, with covid still going on. It was everything we had hoped for and more. One of our biggest concerns was safety during the pandemic and not only did she find us a venue that suited our needs, she helped us with all of our personal requirements to make our guests safe, while throwing the most spectacular party ever. We left feeling that Kate and Miles were not just our planners but our friends. There is no one I would recommend more. Fantastic experience: My fiancée and I knew we were in the right hands with Kate ten minutes into our introductory meeting… after hearing a little bit about how we met and our interests, she described her vision for what a celebration honoring both our love of elegant glamour and the outdoors might look like. Once we signed with Kate, we felt comfortable knowing she was going to help us craft the most wonderful weekend. Between adventurous site visits, exciting band showcases, creative vision meetings, and the most delicious tastings, Kate really became part of the family. Her eye for detail is stunning. Both my wife and I wanted to surprise one another with what we wore, and Kate made sure that my suit, her dress, the cake design, the floral design, and the clothing for the bridal party all were cohesive and beautiful despite neither my wife nor I knowing all of the minutia. It all came together like a dream. The team of vendors she brought together for us was nothing short of remarkable (our friends, many of whom are professional singers, can not stop talking about our band!). Kate also perfectly balanced the more relaxed vibe we wanted for our very large Welcome Dinner the night before (complete with s’mores!) with the old Hollywood in the country feeling we desired for the wedding (the black and white dance floor and chandeliers were perfect). We topped the weekend off with a brunch for everyone who attended, and she made sure everyone had a glorious send off. During the weekend, her team made everything flow so smoothly. My wife and I actually were able to relax and enjoy time with friends and family, which was our goal in finding the perfect Hudson Valley venue. The ceremony was beautiful, and when we finally walked into the reception tent, it was like walking into a fairy-tale. We are still walking on air after our wedding, and we are so grateful to have Kate in our lives. She will make your dreams come true and then some!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I got married last month and were (very thankfully) able to lean on Kate Edmonds Events during the last stretch of wedding planning to help get us to the finish line. Kate is clearly an industry veteran, and her experience, discerning eye and excellent coordination and foresight will be invaluable in planning and making decisions. Her team is also superb and equally professional - we were so happy with Jessica's attentiveness, organization and quick thinking. Jessica led our day-of support, and we don't know what we would've done without her. Our wedding took place on two floors - not to mention the multiple getting-ready and photoshoot locations pre-ceremony - but Jessica and the team had all bases and details perfectly covered. They were so present throughout the wedding, in a way that gave me peace of mind to just enjoy the night! Several of our guests even commented on our day-of support team and how on top of everything they were. Fantastic experience: I just cant say enough good things about Kate and Jess at Kate Edmonds Events! We interviewed a few planners before selecting KEE. We're both very busy young professionals, and it was important for us to select someone with the right EXPERIENCE and CONFIDENCE to get the job done not only effortlessly, but also with style and class. We didn't have time to deal with all the issues so we asked Kate to creatively manage both the macro and micro details of all aspects of the wedding and we were so glad we did! After a few interviews via skype and one in person I really feel like Kate took her time to get to know us, our lifestyle, and our preferences.... During a brainstorm session Kate had amazing ideas including one about having a 'movable feast' instead of a traditional sit down wedding dinner. We went with this idea and EVERYONE IS STILL TALKING ABOUT HOW COOL THAT WAS!! All of the vendors she suggested were perfect and phenomenal! From Marcey Brownsein Catering, DJ James, and Bettina, oh lovely Bettina! (our officiant), what a steal! Kate was such a pleasure to work with exhibiting the highest level professionalism at all times, whilst all the while being relaxed and fun! We got a bit frazzled near the end and she really helped coach and inspire us through this rough patch. You could tell she had the experience of many many many events, and this was so, so key for us because we have none! I really felt as though Kate and Jess were really personally invested in our success, almost as if we were family. All in all I would enthusiastically recommend Kate for pretty much any event, especially if you're busy and simply just want it done right!!

Fantastic experience: Kate planned a lovely dinner party for my family at a home in Southampton. She listened attentively to my preferences on menu and decor and carried them out perfectly, including a special cocktail, a vegetarian entree and all white flowers. The food was delicious and the service was spot on. Kate and her team were well-organized and took care of every little detail. Everyone was impressed and had an absolutely wonderful evening.

Fantastic experience: When I met Kate, I had a idea about the kind of wedding I wanted. I met with Kate and together we filled in the details. I had a wonderful day and Kate fulfilled my dreams. From a traditional church wedding, to an intimate but glorious dinner for family and international guests, and afterwards, a black tie party at a loft in SOHO. A NYC wedding that was sophisticated, beautiful and lots of fun! Several years later, I had Kate do my daughters christening. It was a small event with a party/dinner afterwards in our home in Brooklyn. Kate made it special in so many ways. The house was filled with beautiful flowers and the atmosphere was festive. It was a true celebration!

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure to work with Kate and her team on a Manhattan wedding last month. As a wedding band leader (La Vie En Rose Band) we work with lots of event planners, and I can testify that Kate and her team are among the most organized and detail oriented I have got to work with. Fantastic experience: A letter from my husband. As a groom, you never realize or understand which part of the wedding preparations and planning you are supposed to be involved with. One event that I recall most fondly was the “Night in New Orleans” fundraiser held in New York City which raised over $210k for post-hurricane relief. Fantastic experience: Late last summer, I made my way out to Montauk in East Hampton for a very close friend's wedding. It was my first time visiting Montauk, and I won't soon forget it. The welcome party to kick off the weekend took place at Navy Beach, a lovely seafood restaurant on the ocean. The evening was charming, but nothing compared to the ceremony and reception put on by Kate Edmonds Events at Sole East Resort. Kate and her team turned the grounds into what felt like a fairytale, with beautiful flowers and enchanting lights everywhere you looked. I vividly remember never wanting the evening to end. We danced and laughed our hearts out, and the experience was truly one of a kind. I was thrilled for my friends Elie and Danielle Camoro. They're wedding day was everything they'd hoped for, and I know that Kate and her team played an immense role in making that so. Fantastic experience: I was fortunate to attend the National Review Institute and Morris Animal Foundation events, both of which were Kate Edmonds Events productions. While these types of functions are not a rarity on the New York charity circuit, there was a certain charm and sophistication that KEE brought to both events that is often absent at similar soirees.
