Fantastic experience: I do not even know how to express how amazing Amy Katz and her team is to work with. They will also produce the PERFECT wedding with timelines and details all in place so that there is not an ounce of worry. Over the whole 14 months of planning, Amy and her team were by our sides through every appointment and scheduling calls/visits/getting quotes from vendors before we could even anticipate it. Surrounded by family and friends, about to marry my best friend, is a great recipe for success, but what carried us over the finish line, with triumph, was Amy Katz and her team. They provided a loving support that truly made my wedding day better. One of my favorite things about working with Amy was all of her recommendations. She took time to get to know us then carefully gave us recommendations on wedding bands, Makeup Artist, Hair Stylist, and different vendors that she thought would be the best fit for me personally. I found that each of these individuals had the same level as professionalism, kindness, and thoughtfulness as Amy. Fantastic experience: Amy Katz and her team are an ABSOLUTE dream team! They helped me and my husband plan a wedding we could not have imagined! It was truly everything we wanted and more. From the first consultation appointment, they made us feel comfortable and we knew we had picked the right team to help plan our wedding. From day 1, her team hit the ground running and within 1 week of picking them venue, we had our date, band, makeup/hair, photographer all booked! Amy and her team made everything seamless which was essential as I'm currently a medical resident. They were willing to plan however was best for me. They were flexible with meeting times, meeting at unorthodox evening hours like 7-8pm. When I told them I needed a few options to pick for each vendor/category, they rose to the occasion and would send me emails with the top 3 choices per category with each brochures, price and little overviews on each option. Could not have been easier! Amy and her team plan your wedding as though you are family. She tells you exactly what she would pick if she were planning the wedding for her own family member and really means it! She gives you her honest opinion on all decisions, but respects your decision if you don't see eye to eye. On the day of my wedding, when I had trouble with the stylist (seemed she was having an off day), the AKE team called the manager of the boutique where I bought my wedding dress to help. The manager met us at my wedding venue and fixed me right up so that I looked perfect for our day. Overall, planning a wedding can be STRESSFUL! However, working with AKE team made it as easy as possible. We are forever grateful to her team for all their hard work and would 100% recommend them to anyone!

Fantastic experience: My son proposed to his girlfriend at the end of May and they decided to get married in the beginning of October. How can anyone plan a wedding in just FOUR months, especially if you live on the west coast and the wedding is going to be in NYC? The ONLY way to get it done seamlessly is to hire Amy Katz Events! People warn you ahead of your wedding that inevitably something will go wrong and at that point it is what it is - however, I mean it when I say **not a single thing went wrong** thanks to this team!! As a type A bride that is also extremely organized, I was not the slightest bit stressed the week or day of the wedding because I knew they were on top of it in every way possible!!! Fantastic experience: We recently had the pleasure of working with Amy Katz Events for our wedding at the Plaza Hotel, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Amy has a fabulous team who helped us every step of the way. She connected us with the best vendors in NYC including an incredible florist, a fantastic band, hair and makeup artists, videographer, seamstress, etc. She participated in many of our vendor meetings to ensure every detail would be perfect. We had some special requests for catering at The Plaza, since we have dietary requirements and allergies. Amy made sure all food and beverages were adapted as per our specific needs, and everything was absolutely delicious! On the day of the wedding, everything went off smoothly, thanks to Amy. Amy’s team was there to walk us through every part of the day leading up to the event and stayed with us from beginning to end to ensure everything ran on time. If we needed any last minute details handled, Amy and her team made it happen seamlessly without causing us any stress. We would highly recommend Amy Katz Events to anyone planning a wedding. Fantastic experience: One of the best decisions we made during our whole wedding process was hiring Amy Katz! From the very beginning we knew we were in good hands with her and her team. They made the entire planning process seamless and worry free. She is extremely knowledgeable, organized, detail oriented, and stays on top of every vendor. Our wedding day was not stressful at all, and because of her detailed schedule and planning, the day was executed flawlessly! Fantastic experience: It’s hard to adequately express what a great experience it was having Amy Katz guide us through the planning process for our daughter and fiancé’s recent wedding. Amy’s utmost professionalism, incredible organization, and amazing sense of “the big picture” (not to mention the details), are incomparable. She has incredibly high standards, and at the same time, wonderful relationships with those vendors she works with, who are undoubtedly the best in the business. The level of respect between all of them is truly remarkable. I am still struck by what Amy and her staff were able to orchestrate, and all with the appearance of ease. Amy is incredibly proud and supportive of her staff, and rightfully so. There is a level of professionalism and respect among them that is both welcoming to see, and a pleasure to be a part of. From Maddy, who got the ball rolling, to Amanda, who was just amazing. I can’t imagine how she kept on top of every detail, always available, and never missing a beat. She was masterful at managing all of our personalities and preferences, making sure everyone was heard, while at the same time, getting the job done seamlessly. Everyone on hand the day of the wedding was beyond well-prepared, which allowed us all to relax and truly enjoy what otherwise could have been a stressful time. I have always believed that the experience is as much about the journey as the result. The wedding was more beautiful than we ever could have imagined, and equally important, Amy and the entire AKE staff allowed us to trust and to enjoy, and for that, we are incredibly thankful.

Fantastic experience: Amy and her team were fantastic! From the very beginning, we knew we had made the right decision to hire her when she secured viewings at all the venues we dreamed of considering, and in less than a week of hiring her, we were able to visit every single one. She then ensured that along with the quote from each venue, she built out a spreadsheet comparing the actual costs of each by adding in estimates for catering, tables/chairs/linens, staff, etc., when some venues did not include these items in their quotes. Just like the venues, she knows all the best vendors, and they all praised how professional she was to work with. She was always there to help talk through decisions or ideas to make the wedding ours. We would not have had a wedding day as incredible as it was without Amy, and we highly recommend her to anyone who wants a world-class wedding!

Fantastic experience: Amy and her team are the absolute best decision we made for our wedding!! She took the stress out of planning, which allowed us to have so much fun in the year leading up to the wedding with her guidance and help on all decisions! Amy and every person on her team is so incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, empathetic, and there anytime you need them. Every vendor noted how much they enjoyed working with Amy due to her professionalism and the fact that they knew with her steering the wheel, everything would be seamless - and it was! A month later and our friends and family still can’t stop talking about how incredible day was and how smoothly everything went! Having Amy and her team allowed us and our families to take in every moment of the day without a single worry. From our perspective the day was perfect but I know that’s only because of Amy’s work behind the scenes. We will never be able to express the amount of gratitude we have for her and her team for giving us a memory of a lifetime!!

Fantastic experience: Working with Amy this past year to plan my daughter's wedding at the Parrish Art Museum in October was honestly an experience I would love to repeat! She is so calm, cool, and professional but most important, she LISTENED to our wishes and truly made all of our dreams come true with NO STRESS if you can possibly believe that! I am absolutely sure that there was plenty of stress leading up to the wedding but I can tell you that Amy absorbed all of it and we did not feel it. Aside from her living up to every single thing she promised me from our very first phone call, I had the pleasure of working with her team! Maddy became our new best friend and just like Amy, she is incredibly cool, positive, professional and always available. The day of the wedding we had the opportunity to meet some other members of her staff! Where do I begin?? Anna, Stacie the stylist (who I fought to hire and she is literally a godsend!). These ladies were my daughter's "Posse" and necessary beyond!!! Only if you want to enjoy the day that is!!!! That is really what it is all about! You work all year to create your dream and on that day, you just want to be in the moment. Amy and her team have everything covered! I have worked with party planners before but never with such ease and genuine excitement that we have had working with Amy!! Amy Katz events is the absolute best!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I wish there were more than five stars to rate Amy Katz Events! Amy and her team (we worked with Amanda) was attentive to every detail of my daughter’s wedding as well as knowing how to execute a plan and handle whatever is thrown at them. Their knowledge, expertise and relationships with venders coupled with their organization, professionalism and ability to handle whatever is thrown their way in a kind efficient manner is what makes her team so terrific! Amy is a strong advocate for her clients and she will fight for her clients to get exactly what they want! Amy or her staff will be at every vender meeting and her presence is very much respected by all. Her venders are very loyal to her and they will do a phenomenal job. My guests told me they never saw more beautiful flowers or heard a better band! Amy is one in a million and she is second to none.

Fantastic experience: Amy Katz and her team (Amanda, who we worked with, in particular) exceeded our expectations at every possible inflection point in our wedding planning process. They have all the connections to the best vendors, take time to understand their clients so they can best advise them on which vendors to use, and provide organization, motivation, and sound advice as well as an available ear throughout the entire wedding process. My husband and I literally could not wrap our minds around how people pay their wedding planners a percentage fee of their overall wedding. We were told repeatedly, "That's just how it's done." Obviously, such a structure incentivizes a planner to spend as much as possible. When we found Amy, a highly regarded planner who charged a flat fee, we honestly thought this might mean we needed to do a bit more of the leg work for our own wedding or that somehow the level of service would suffer slightly. We were wrong. Amy and her team unequivocally provided five-star service throughout the entire process. They organized our invite lists, updated the budget spreadsheets, liaised with vendors, and responded IMMEDIATELY. Amy and her team's ONLY motivation is to provide the best service possible to their clients. They were incredible. I cannot recommend them enough. Fantastic experience: Only one word can describe Amy Katz: Wonder Woman. Okay, two words, but only because one word is not enough to truly encapsulate her. Long story short: my (now) husband and I hired the wrong wedding planner and after 3 corona cancellations, were scrambling to find a venue, band, and semblance of sanity. After an exhaustive vetting process and countless glowing recommendations, we thankfully hired Amy to put the pieces of our dream wedding back together again. From day 1, Amy was attentive, available, and brilliant. She catered to my every whim, no matter how outlandish or unreasonable (within reason, of course). We hired Amy for 3 months and our only regret was not hiring her sooner.
