Fantastic experience: Working with Hanh from the Simply Elegant Group was simply the best decision we could have made for planning our son's wedding.  When my son asked me to help he and his partner plan their wedding, I started researching and was immediately overwhelmed.  From the first call with Simply Elegant Group to the last dance at the wedding, Hanh helped us find the very best vendors, saved us money and took all of the stress of planning and organizing off of our shoulders.  Hanh was professional, experienced, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.  Hanh's work and attention to detail made it "the best wedding ever" according to all of our guests.  I would absolutely recommend the Simply Elegant Group if you want to get the best value, the best ideas, the best vendors and enjoy your wedding.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I cannot recommend our planner Hanh and Simply Elegant enough. We had several virtual meetings with Hanh to plan key aspects of our wedding day- budget, design, and 2 timeline meetings. These were key touchpoint spread out over our year of working with Simply Elegant to be on target for our Big Day. We were provided with a digital wedding workbook that allowed us to plan, organize, and track all of the key aspects of our wedding day from ceremony timeline, reception timeline, attending guest list, to inventory. This resource was invaluable to keep us organized and also to have a shared document with our planner Hanh. The day of our wedding was seamless and we received many compliments from our 120 guests about how organized our wedding day was and the high level of execution and level of detail. Hanh checked in with us regularly to assist us in any way that she could and was the key point of contact with our other wedding vendors including caterer and florist. Hanh exceeded our high expectations in so many ways including all of her timely and detailed communication throughout the planning process and on the wedding day. She even took the time to learn the dance steps to a Bollywood song that we had invited our family and friends to learn in advance of the wedding so that everyone could dance together in a flash mob! Thank you Hanh and Simply Elegant for your many contributions to creating the very best day of our lives!

Fantastic experience: Our planning started out a little bumpy with us changing planners within SEG twice but once we finally got paired with Emma Kielsa everything was a dream! She planned everything perfectly and handled us being out of the country for the majority of the planning wonderfully. I got so many compliments on how well planned and timed everything was and my husband and I felt completely relaxed during the day because we knew Emma had it handled. She was hands down the best money we spent on the wedding!!! The master spreadsheet she created for us and all our vendors was a type A dream and everything for the day was contained in one document which made it easy to navigate and share. Our wedding day ended up being fun and exciting because of her and she handled every hiccup in stride so that I could focus on my wedding and my guests. I can't imagine planning a wedding without someone like her.

Fantastic experience: Simply Elegant Group was by far my favorite vendor! Every single person we talked to from Lindsay Mackey, their amazing manger and our first contact to the hotel-block assistant was a joy to work with, communicative and helpful. The workbook, spreadsheets, and connections with other coordinators and vendors made the whole wedding planning process more enjoyable and streamlined. We chose the Day of Coordination and are very grateful to have had Hanh as our wedding coordinator! Hanh is worth her weight in gold! With Day of Coordination we received not only ten hours of custom coordination from the wonderfully efficient and empathic Hanh, we also had the help of her assistant. This was perfect because someone was by my and my husband’s throughout the day. I loved that with SEG we had a whole team of magnifically organized, thorough and compassionate individuals to support us in executing our dream wedding. Once we had submitted our information Lindsay contacted us to go over all of the things included in wedding planning. She created a rough draft of our day of timeline and gave us access to our Wedding Workbook. They have templates for everything you will need for organizing your wedding and making sure you do not miss out on important, but often overlooked details. Two months before our wedding date we were connected with Hanh. From our first meeting throughout the whole time before the wedding and for the duration of our wedding itself Hanh was both our wedding angel and ninja rolled all into one. I had done a lot of the initial setting up vendors, but as soon as she could she took over as my contact person. This meant the vendors had to email/reach out to Hanh and left me feeling like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. From this point on I started to enjoy wedding planning.I love that she reached out to not only myself, but included my now husband and daughter in on a meeting. If there were any hiccups leading up to the wedding I did not know until they were already handled. On our wedding day, everything went smoothly for my husband and I and our family.Again if there were any mishaps my husband and I were oblivious of them and we had the best wedding ever! Fantastic experience: If you are getting married I HIGHLY recommend hiring the Simply Elegant Group!! First and foremost, I did go with the full service package and if you can, I'd say go with that level. They not only helped so much with the planning, they were also incredible day-of. I was fortunate enough to work with Lisa Hahn and her day-of assistant, Kayli McGee! When I say these two women were amazing, it is an understatement. Not only did they think of EVERYTHING, but they were one step ahead of me/predicting my needs like only pros can. I felt like I did nothing but enjoy my wedding day and that is all thanks to these ladies. Simply Elegant Group, in general, is essential for your wedding. I could not have planned such a beautiful wedding myself. Or if I did, I would have stressed myself out massively! Trust me when I say, you need a professional to make your day peaceful and fun.

Fantastic experience: Hiring The Simply Elegant Group was one of the best decisions that we made for planning our wedding and for our wedding day! We worked with Hanh and she was phenomenal! We started working with Hanh a little over 1 year before the wedding and she helped us with every step of the planning process. She was very easy to communicate with and was very timely in her responses. I really appreciated how much stress she took off of my shoulders throughout the process and I am so grateful for that. She helped me curate vendors while sticking to our budget, and coordinated all of their information and correspondence very efficiently. Her attention to detail and her organizational skills were so helpful! Fantastic experience: Neither my husband nor I had been in a wedding, so we had no idea what we were doing when we began planning. We hired SEG for full-service planning, and we were so impressed by the time and resources made available to us. Our planner, Hanh, was so organized and attentive throughout the process. She was able to provide us with so many ideas to make our vision come true, and she knew to ask the vendors questions we never would have even thought of. She even went above and beyond on the day of, in ways such as helping bustle my dress which my mom and I couldn't figure out. The wedding workbook, especially the checklist organized by time out from the wedding, was so helpful in giving us a visual representation of everything we needed to do. Overall, hiring SEG full-service was well worth the money, and we highly recommend them for anyone who doesn't have the time or experience to plan their wedding themselves!

Fantastic experience: Hanh made our job as photographers a breeze! She was able to keep the wedding a surprise for guests (no easy task). Seriously, Hanh's warmth and dedication were next level. She made sure the couple's vision came to life, and we had a blast every step of the way. Bottom line: If you want your wedding to be awesome and stress-free, Hanh is your go-to planner!

Positive experience: Our coordinator, Hanh, was absolutely marvelous! She was attentive, fun, and made us feel so taken care of. We used SEG for their day-of coordinator services, but Hanh made it feel like so much more. I would highly recommend her! The deducted star was due to some communication difficulties we had with SEG (not Hanh!). We had a coordinator originally assigned to us, but when one of our vendors couldn't get a hold of our original coordinator, we reached out to SEG and found out that coordinator was no longer with SEG. I wish SEG had been proactive in letting us know when our coordinator left; even though we only had day-of services, our vendors still needed our contact from SEG in the months before the wedding.

Fantastic experience: Lisa Hahn truly stood out during a wedding at Adler Ranch, Alexandria MN. With impeccable time management, she kept the timeline on point, showcasing her organizational skills. Lisa demonstrated remarkable problem-solving skills, handling everything with grace. Her dedication and endurance for a long day were truly commendable. As the owner of Adler Ranch, I appreciate Hahn's invaluable contribution to ensuring a smooth and memorable event.

Fantastic experience: I am a vendor who has worked with both Lily Atkinson and Lisa Hahn at Simply Elegant Group and loved working with them both. Very professional and still very personable to work with. Communication flowed easily. Highly recommend working with SEG and their wonderful planners!

Fantastic experience: When it came to the Wedding Day, The Simply Elegant Group went above and beyond to ensure we ran on time, everything went as planned, and that the happy couple could enjoy their day without the stress of coordinating all the moving parts from one event to the next. When it came to clean-up, they were on top of it! It was so nice to not have to clean-up the hall at the end of the LONG day. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for someone to back the Bride at ALL costs!

Fantastic experience: Planning a wedding isn't easy, but planning it during a COVID pandemic with rules that seem to change every day is REALLY not easy. We feel so grateful to have navigated the uncertain times with the planning support of Simply Elegant Group. From pulling (and re-pulling) quotes from multiple vendors to coordinating our rehearsal and wedding day, we're so happy with the experience we had with SEG and our planner Kristen. She was very decisive, clear, and strategic in all of our conversations, helping us stay focused on the task at hand so I never had to guess on what I needed work on that week or month. Our situation was unique in that we weren't able to plan most of our wedding until the last two months before our wedding date because of COVID, so seeing how fast the SEG team was able to move was super inspiring. They even helped us with little tweaks we made when we changed our vision to host a intimate wedding, like playing "DJ" with our ceremony songs on a Spotify playlist and recording a Facebook Live video so our family and friends could feel like they were there with us on the day. Our planner Kristen even sent me a video of our first dance since our videographer already left and she knew we'd want to relive that moment later. Everyone at SEG is incredibly thoughtful and proactive. We can't say enough great things about SEG, their preferred vendors, and everyone involved! We highly recommend them!!!

Fantastic experience: When Simply Elegant is our coordination team. I know we are in for a day without any hiccups because we can trust they can take care of everything. Fantastic experience: When I found out that the hotel required us to have a day of coordinator I was a little annoyed. I didn't think that I needed anyone to help us plan a wedding let alone help us on the day of. Oh, how I was wrong. I was able to plan most of the wedding myself but when we were a month out and Ashley Carpenter stepped in, I could not have asked for everything else. She was truly a godsend. With work being crazy. Having another person there sending all the important emails, making sure I was in the loop, asking me every question to make sure it went accordingly was absolutely amazing. I think Ashley's present the day of is when I truly understood how lucky I was to have her there. Being able to actually enjoy my wedding day is something I will be eternally grateful for the rest of my life. I can look back now and see how horrible different my day would have been if she had not been there. You might not need a wedding planner but you MUST have a day of coordinator. I highly recommend Ashley Carpenter and the company she works with The Simply Elegant Group.

Fantastic experience: My (new) wife and I had Morgan as our wedding planner. We got the highest package and worked with Morgan for a little over a year before our wedding. We had no experience in planning a wedding (duh!) and decided to seems an experts help, and we are so glad we did. As the timeline progressed near our wedding day, we felt like there was the support and guidance we needed. During our in person meetings, Morgan got to really know us to help provide the guidance we needed in making the myriad of decisions one must make during a wedding. While we didn’t use all of SEG preferred vendors, those we did and those that Morgan recommended were fantastic (hello, European Floral!)! On the day before and of the wedding though is when we really saw the value in hiring Morgan with SEG. Rehearsal went great and everything on the wedding day was calm, collected, and in control. Wife had an issue with dress and morgan literally whipped out an emergency bussel kit (never heard of that word before the wedding) and helped my wife pin the dress up before our first dance. All in all, it’s not cheap but neither of us have any regrets in hiring SEG to help us with the biggest day of our lives. Thank you Morgan! And congrats on the upcoming little Langseth!

Fantastic experience: Morgan and the whole Simply Elegant crew made my whole wedding day and planning experience amazing. I can't deny that stress happened but they helped me enjoy the entire process. I only get to plan 1 wedding and with Morgan's help the entire thing was fun and exciting. They are affordable and so worth the money. This is it ladies, don't hate it, don't stress over it, enjoy it! Cause this. is. it. And Morgan helped me do just that. Anytime I thought something might possibly come up, like a fly swatter Morgan was there. And problems vanquished before her. Another amazing thing she did was help our first time wedding DJ. Wedding DJs have a lot more responsibility than any of us realized and he was SO nervous. But she called him and talked with him and worked with him all day to make it so much easier on him. And in turn perfect for us. Morgan worked so smoothly with ALL of our vendors that the whole day happened effortlessly (For me ;) ) I can't thank her or Simply Elegant enough for everything they did to make my special day...well... special!

Negative experience: I was so looking forward to working with the Colorado team after reading so many great reviews! Imagine my disappointment when I had not one— but TWO— appointments made with Taylor where she no showed. Not a last minute cancellation or reschedule— just straight up silence. I was cautious and uneasy after the first time but trusted that her excuse was legit (even though she didn’t respond to emails, or didn’t bother to call me for 4 days to explain herself). But then she blew me off again. Fool me one, shame on you; fool me twice.... If this was my wedding, or I needed to get in touch with them for something urgent, I would be very concerned and upset. Seems like an indication of their level of service or professionalism. Incredibly frustrating and disheartening.

Fantastic experience: We had Lindsay as our wedding planner and she was amazing on our wedding day! We both thoroughly enjoyed the entire day and did not think twice about a single detail during the reception. From the beginning of the day, she was able to delicately solve an issue with the makeup artist and help me feel beautiful! However, I think the part that I enjoyed most was that I felt like I was sharing my day with a friend, not a planner. I never had to ask for anything to be done, because she was either already on it or asking me if I need anything else to have a good time. Overall, I loved our experience and am so happy to have met Lindsay and Elisa from Simply Elegant!

Fantastic experience: Kerry from the Simply Elegant Group was absolutely incredible. Not only did she go above and beyond during our planning process, but also I could not have imagined our wedding day with out her. Some might say (my husband/mother) that I can be a little Type A and difficult to work with but that didn’t scare Kerry. She was patient, understanding, calming and professional. She helped plan the wedding of my dreams with my budget. I am most grateful for all of Kerry’s hard work the week leading up to our wedding and of course the day of. She stepped in, took away the stress and allowed me to just enjoy every moment. While looking for a wedding planner, I wanted someone who could execute our vision so my husband and I could soak in the day. Fantastic experience: We hired Lindsay the week of and WOW are we glad we did. I'm not sure what I was thinking not having a day of coordinator. I thought I could do it all then as I met with the manager of my venue and had final meetings with vendors I quickly realized I did not want to be the go to person. I also did not want any of my family members to be that person because I wanted them to enjoy the day as well. From the second Lindsay came into the picture I felt relaxed and way more comfortable with how the flow of the day would go. She is professional, honest, funny, high energy and everything else you'd want in the person there to make your day perfect. She instantly had a vision for my day and made it better than I could have ever pictured. Do yourself a favor and hire Lindsay. This is the best decision we made for our wedding!

Fantastic experience: We are currently working with the Simply Elegant Group. My Wedding Planner has helped me with everything from establishing a wedding budget to contacting vendors/ tours etc. Where they have shinned the most for me personally is helping design & send all my invites such as "Save The Dates" and even managing my wedding invites (including the dreaded RSVPs). Kerry has literally been my right hand gal keeping me on track and helping me every step of the way. She has helped me keep calm as well as make my wedding planning stress free thus far! But where I really feel they will shine is my actual wedding...allowing me time to be focused in the moment. We have the wedding agenda established and Kerry will be by my side every step of the way! Kerry has been there for all of our needs, including the every now and then emotional support which is much needed during wedding planning. Fantastic experience: I called Simply Elegant literally days before my wedding because my prior arrangement for a coordinator fell through and I needed help! I felt like it was a Hail Mary pass desperately trying to find someone who would help me on such short notice and someone who I trusted. But, lucky me, Simply Elegant Group saved the day! They took care of all the small and big details on the day of my wedding that I didn't want to fuss with so that I could relax and enjoy my day. They executed every detail perfectly and communicated with professionalism. I recommend to everyone getting married to have someone help with the details! It makes everything so much less stressful and more enjoyable on the wedding day to be worry-free!

Negative experience: Simply disappointed.

Negative experience: I spent time reaching out to Lindsay M. Mackey, "Expert Planner" from The Simply Elegant Group - I put expert planner in quotes because anyone who is even a decent planner would not confirm they had a coordinator available for your date (this is after she mixed up the dates in her initial outreach and I had to correct her) and then claim they do not have someone available after all. This is after I wasted my time scheduling a call and going through all the details of our wedding, then waiting a week without receiving any of the information requested. When I finally reached back out to her to follow-up (which is her job) she stated that she was waiting for confirmation of someone's availability but actually nobody was available. Little pro tip- don't waste someone's time 3 months before their wedding.

Fantastic experience: Hiring Simply Elegant for day of coordination was one of the best decisions we made. Kerry was professional, organized, and very attentive to details. Fantastic experience: Wedding Day Coordinator does not begin to cover all that Kristin did for us. Even if you go DIY on everything else for your wedding, make sure you hire a Simply Elegant coordinator. The day felt like it went off without a hitch. I'm sure there were hiccups, but Kristin took care of them all before my husband and I ever heard anything about them. By the time we got to the wedding day, I was so comfortable with Kristin. We had emailed, talked a dozen times, and met in person as well. We lived out of state, and Kristin was very accommodating, often meeting when we were home around holidays. My husband and I are very organized, but it was wonderful to have someone with experience to bounce ideas off of and take a second look at plans. And all of this was before we even got to the wedding day! I loved having Kristin as a coordinator because she happily and promptly took care of anything we asked. On top of that, she ran interference and let us enjoy the day. Right before we sat down for dinner, Kristin let us know that she swapped two of the tables so a family member could plug in his oxygen tank. Kristin saw this need, took care of swapping the tables and informing the caterer, and then filled us in when we had a free moment. All of these little things throughout the day could have meant time my husband and I (or our close family members) would have had to take away from enjoying the event, but Kristin covered them all. At the end of the reception, I had asked my sisters to help my parents stay behind and clean up. Again though, Kristin had it covered, letting my exhausted parents go home to bed and my sisters out to party further with friends. The next morning, Kristin let us know that one of the groomsmen had forgotten to grab his suit when he left, and she offered to take it back to the rental store for us. Even though we did not hire them as a full wedding planner, Simply Elegant was there from the moment we hired them until the week after the wedding, always one step ahead of our needs.

Fantastic experience: Simply Elegant Bridal Consulting is amazing! They go above and beyond! I'm a wedding photographer and recently worked with Kristin on a wedding. The venue was a large hotel and there was a lot of running around, scrambling at the last minute to make sure everything was perfect! She put together all of the centerpieces-and they were stunning! Kristin probably ran 10 miles that day to ensure everything was in place and to make sure the day was stress-free for the bride and groom! She was a complete rockstar!
