Fantastic experience: Working with Abby and A Charleston Bride was the best decision we've ever made!!! We originally found Abby after she planned my brother's wedding a few years ago and I always joked that she would be my first call after we were engaged (and she basically was lol). Seeing the attention to detail she put into their day and how special she made them feel was proof enough that she was the perfect planner for us and I was so excited to one day work with her! Since that first phone call, she was incredibly kind, organized, thoughtful, and genuinely excited for us. She made every step along the way so easy and was there to support us and see all of our visions and ideas come to life. We got married at Governor Thomas Bennett House and she planned everything to absolute perfection! All of the timing and decorations were seamless without us ever having to stress about a single thing on the day of. We have had multiple guests come to us since our wedding day and say that it was the best wedding they have ever been to and that is all thanks to Abby and the ACB team. I cannot say enough amazing things about Abby and her team and could not recommend them more for a perfect wedding in Charleston!!!!

Fantastic experience: We LOVE Amanda and Charleston Bride!! Our son was married at River Course in Kiawah in October and it was flawless!! The combination of excellent planning, anticipation of every need and superb execution made the day just perfect!! Amanda kept assuring us that we would have nothing to worry about the week of the wedding or during the wedding and I was a bit skeptical, but it was absolutely true. The whole staff that helped at the wedding were top notch. She navigated every hurdle we threw at her beautifully. We had to think outside the box on some of our logistics and she was great. Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough amazing, positive things about A Charleston Bride and specially my planner Chloe!! I just had my wedding 3 weeks ago on Ocean Course and Chloe and the team helped me for a year to prepare. They were the first luxury wedding planners I interviewed and I didn’t even bother calling anyone else I knew they were professional and perfect for this. The day went SEAMLESSLY - I was nervous because everyone says something will go wrong at your wedding and literally nothing did. It was the opposite. Everything was timed out beautifully and they even made sure we got to eat which is unheard of. If you are getting married anywhere in South Carolina you should hire A Charleston Bride, and if you’re lucky you’ll be paired with Chloe and Paige.

Fantastic experience: I Never thought I’d be one of those people to say something along the lines of “my wedding day was the best day of my life” but here we are. It was absolutely incredible, and we owe all of that to Chloe and the team at ACB. You would have never known that we were working together from a distance - ACB being in Charleston, SC and our wedding took place in Greenville, SC. Negative experience: Working with A Charleston Bride was the most disappointing part of our wedding experience. From the start, we felt misled on important details like timelines and vendor selection. There was no creativity or thoughtfulness in their approach or process—it felt like we were being funneled into a generic, cookie-cutter plan that left us doing much of the work to bring our vision to life. We were also encouraged to book vendors without any clear sense of our design or overall vision for the day, which not only left us feeling unsure and unprepared but also created significant challenges down the line in ensuring everything aligned cohesively. Communication was scattered and disorganized, making it challenging to keep track of emails and all the different topics being addressed. Our involvement in the planning process was consistently undermined, leaving us frustrated and excluded from meaningful decisions. The entire experience lacked inspiration, care, and attention to detail. Ultimately, we decided to sever ties and work with another planner, and the difference is night and day. The level of professionalism, creativity, and organization our new planner brought to the table underscored just how profoundly A Charleston Bride fell short of expectations. Given that they are one of the higher-priced options in Charleston, there are far better planners available who can deliver a far more personalized, thoughtful, and organized experience. If you value a meaningful, tailored wedding planning experience, I would strongly, strongly advise against hiring this team.

Fantastic experience: Amanda was a pure pleasure to work with while planning my daughter's wedding. Her experience and knowledge were invaluable to me, not only because it was a destination wedding, but because wedding planning is her area of expertise and not mine. Why try to recreate the wheel? Once Amanda got a feel for our vision, she made selections easy, and fun. When the day-of weather threw us a curve, Amanda took control and my day and the bride's day carried on as if plan B had always been plan A. As the MOB, I still enjoyed the ease of the day, and Amanda earned every penny paid for her services as she spun into action to make many necessary changes not only feasible, but beautiful.
