When it came to the 2 month mark the team took over all communication with the vendors and made the coordinating a breeze. When it came to the day of Adriana and team were flawless with attending to us and making sure that we had everything we could possibly need. Experiencia fantástica: I hired Redbook Events as a planner for my wedding. Adriana and her team were amazing. She’s very detail oriented and has a range of experience coming from a culinary background (previously worked as a chef) to now an amazing planner with style. At our design meetings, she had great taste which made it very easy to turn the reigns over. She gave great recommendations and for all of my vendors, she was able to either source the items I was seeking or give me multiple that could accomplish my vision. Even as I changed course due to budgetary restrictions, she was able to adapt and still move forward with an incredible vision. Every wedding day is plagued by something and mine was rain. The venue and it’s managers were very challenging and while I was so worried day-of, Adriana and her team snatched a win out of the pits of disaster. She negotiated with the venue on my behalf. I didn’t have to do much. I had an absolutely beautiful ceremony as a result. She was able to re-design the layout on the spot. The reception hall was decorated beautifully. With everything going on, they remembered the small things —like the dog figurines for my grooms’ cake and took the time to change out the flowers for my main wedding cake (it was even more stunning). The rentals available through her company really elevated the decor at my wedding. I couldn’t recommend Redbook more.

She paid attention to every detail, even with our crowd of 200 guests. She made sure the groom felt like it was his day too, and was always our advocate. In general, Adriana is just fun to work with. Experiencia fantástica: If I could give 10 stars to the RedBook team I would. We booked with Redbook for our 50 person rehearsal dinner that we hosted at our home, and it was the best decision we made! Leading up to the event Adriana's communication was flawless. She was really clear on the plan, and also was helpful in offering additional services I had not thought of. The team that came was amazing. They took care of everything so that my wife and I could enjoy the night with our friends and family. It was a truly special night, that we will treasure forever, and it went on without a hitch! Experiencia negativa: I got married back in November 2022 and hesitated writing this review, but wanted to provide a realistic review of my experience with Redbook. As a bride the two most important things I wanted for my wedding and where most of wedding budget was going to was one food and second photography/videography. I chose Redbook based on the reviews and variety of food they provided. I am Vietnamese and my husband is American and we wanted to have food that reflected both of our upbringings. I appreciated that they had option to customize dishes. From the very beginning, I made it extremely clear I was a vegetarian. I made it clear through the booking, the wedding food tasting we paid extra for at $150, and multiple emails and calls. We made sure on our wedding day we had scheduled 30 minutes to eat before doing all wedding stuff (pictures, greeting tables, dances etc). Imagine my absolute HORROR when on my wedding day as the bride the plate was brought to me had meat on it. Ok mistakes happen - I told the server I am a vegetarian. She then proceeded to tell me she was not informed of this and there was NOT a plate for me and it would take 20 minutes to prepare my plate for me. It’s one thing if you’re the guest - it’s another when you’re the bride. My wedding planner could see the absolute devastation on my face and proceeded to try to correct this. I ended up having to wait almost full 20 minutes my food and my poor husband tried to give me some carrots off his plate. I ended up rushing to eat my meal and didn’t even get to enjoy food we had paid for. Another was that some of the tables did not receive the food that was set on our menu, including some of the wedding party. We had paid more for table service and guests were disappointed they did not receive the food that was on the menu. The other issue was as well in the beginning, both me and my wedding planner had difficulty getting in contact with Adrianna. I completely understand missing an email here and there, but we often would have to send 3 emails spaced multiple days apart before we heard in a response. We also would try phone call/texting and it would take some time before we heard a response. She did however improve once we had a conversation about it, which I appreciate. For full transparency we paid $30,964 for catering for 240 person wedding. This included family style service, charcuterie board for grazing for our cocktail hour, Vietnamese tostada for passing around, custom Vietnamese salad and soup for the table, shrimp dish, mushroom fried rice, ribeye, roasted chicken, mushroom “short ribs”, roasted baby carrots, and celery root puree. It also included 5 vendor meals, gratuities, and serving platters. So you can imagine why my expectations were higher than received. Overall, I hope that Redbook improved since my wedding. I think overall I was disappointed - I believe I received better service and food at the wedding food tasting rather than my actual wedding. I didn’t spare any expense when it came to food (in fact my husband and I had Salt and Straw our favorite ice cream company based in Portland ship their ice cream to us for our wedding) and it was sad that our guests remembered the ice cream more than the actual food. I acknowledge that Red Book was working at a new venue they had never worked at before, but still I would have expected better communication and overall better logistical planning for the price I paid.
Experiencia fantástica: Adriana, Justin and the Redbook Events catering team were an absolute blast to work with for our wedding. We knew from our amazing food and bar tasting, that they were the team we would go with. Not only was everything delicious, but they really cared about our opinions and were open to any and all changes/ suggestions we made. Our guests are still talking about the dinner we served and the drinks that made them stay on the dance floor all night long. Experiencia fantástica: We hired Redbook as our decorator and coordinator for our wedding. Adriana was phenomenal and executed everything perfectly. There was heavy rain and crazy traffic, and Adriana made everything a breeze, we didn’t even notice a thing. When my reception dress straps broke from dancing so much, she was prepared with safety pins to fix it. Our guests loved her almost as much as my husband and I did! Their decorators were on point as well, everything was set up perfectly!! We would love to use Redbook for our next event, and maybe try out their catering next time as well!

Experiencia fantástica: After having money stolen from us on our previous wedding planner, RedBook Events stepped in and helped us out. It was beyond what I would have thought would happen. The Customer service from Adriana and Justin were absolutely beyond belief. If you get the chance, make sure you have Justin and RBE running the show at your big day. Experiencia fantástica: Adriana was a fantastic wedding coordinator. We loved working with her and knew we were in great hands. The coordination services are a good fit if you are already a highly-organized bride wih a specific vision or someone with prior event planning experience (which I have) and just need someone to come in and handle the logistics and final details. From the moment we tasted their exquisite menu options, including the flavorful brussel sprouts, tender short rib, creamy mashed potatoes, refreshing salad, indulgent mac n cheese, and juicy chicken breast with an avocado salsa, we knew we were in for a treat. Experiencia fantástica: RBC is the BEST! They recently catered our wedding and the process was stress free and easy. More importantly, their food is absolutely delicious! The team is professional, friendly, and eager to please. We also rented their dinnerware and glassware which made event planning a breeze. Best part of all, they are reasonably priced with higher quality food and service than their pricier competitors. I can’t recommend them enough!!

We loved that they catered their menu to our tastes, listened to what we wanted, and executed to our exact specs! Their bar stuff was also amazing and courteous, everyone loved cocktail hour. The whole team was super attentive and responsive throughout the entire process. We were able to go in for a tasting and make some specific requests that they listened to and everything turned out great! We received so many compliments from our guests. Experiencia fantástica: We hired RB for our wedding. Since day one, Adriana and team made us feel comfortable communicating exactly what we were looking for. Our tasting was one of the best experiences. The RB team went above and beyond to accommodate us (an out-of-town couple) during an ice storm. The RB team welcomed our last-minute requests and made sure we were warm and cozy, enjoying our tasting while listening to a playlist curated just for us. The service at the wedding was exceptional and our guests went crazy for the drinks and menu. Would recommend Redbook to everyone we know. If you want a sweet, truly caring, and fun team and amazing food of course, then RedBook is what you are looking for. Forever grateful for your whole team.
Experiencia negativa: Completely forgot to plate and serve all vegan and vegetarian options. The people at my wedding that are vegan and vegetarian sat around and waited for their food. The majority of them never received their food. Only 2 people did receive it only once I (the groom) went to the kitchen and waited for them to hand me the plates. Very disappointed as we paid extra for that food.
Experiencia fantástica: Let me start by saying that overall, we loved working with RBC for our wedding and the food/drink quality is amazing! We would book them again and highly recommend them to anyone and everyone in need of event catering and planning. Adriana & Joe were so great to work with and because food/drink was a huge part of our wedding day, and I'm hyper-organized and a major perfectionist, their patience with us while we planned was exceptional. We went with the family style dining for about 125-150 guests and it was such a unique dining experience. Our guests had SO many good things to say about the drinks, service, and food! That being said, there were a couple things that happened on our wedding day that were a bit disappointing. We'd specifically asked for NO disposables at all, yet they brought cheap little plastic cups anyway - I wish they would have informed us to up our rentals count if they thought we'd need more. They also brought canned sodas without asking or telling us, which showed up in some of our wedding photos which was not appreciated. I wish they would have asked or mentioned it, since apparently they "always do that" for every wedding. We had water and tea, and frankly kids/anybody can go one evening without a soda. The coffee cups we'd requested from Premiere (which RBC was coordinating for us) were not the ones that we got day-of so I'm not sure what happened there. The biggest snags we experienced were an unauthorized change to one of our signature cocktails (we were designing a take on an Old Fashioned, and the syrup-coated fresh cranberry was substituted for a cheap dried Craisin straight out of the bag...), and we later found out that the lead banquet manager who was directing plates to tables was rude to our Best Man at the head table (they asked for more salmon and she told them "we allotted the proper portions, you'll have to wait to see if we have any left over"). Like I said, we WOULD book RedBook again in a heartbeat. Adriana was our literal angel and saved the day (and calmed my nerves) again and again. She is absolutely phenomenal and Joe is a bar master. Both of them really understood what we were going for! The snags overall just came down to a couple communication failures, and one rude staff member. At the end of the day, our guests didn't know the difference and nobody noticed anything amiss besides us. Thank you RedBook, Adriana, and Joe for making our wedding experience so memorable & joyful!
Experiencia fantástica: Adriana is truly amazing and made us feel completely taken care of during the months leading up to and on the day of our wedding. We are so so grateful to have found her!
Experiencia positiva: Food was good. They showed up pretty late to the wedding and then proceeded to call out to each other, quite loudly, while the ceremony was going on. It was an outdoor wedding so we could hear them hollering to each other while the minister was speaking. Pretty unprofessional. Again, food was good and they did get it set up in time for the reception.
Experiencia positiva: I was extremely set on family style, and although I wouldn’t ever say catering is cheap, their quote was lower than most other family style catering proposals. The level of detail and care that Adriana put into our tasting (both food and beverage) was incredible. During the tasting, everything tasted phenomenal. A few negatives - Their response time is slow and can miss things over email. There were many tables that felt they didn’t get enough food, even though less than my guest count showed up. I paid for 122 guests, and approximately 114 showed up, and several guests said they were not full afterwards. Presentation was a bit sloppy as well. But, tasted very good. We loved the mini pies. Pretty amazing bar service from them - awesome bartenders. I would say 5 star to liquor service.

From our pre-event email and phone correspondence to their actual day-of set-up, these guys are so incredibly professional and can I just say “on it!” The food was great and my clients and their guests were very pleased. I would definitely refer them to any planners or couples who are truly looking for a full service catering company. What a great experience!

Experiencia fantástica: We hired Adriana and her team for the rehearsal boat event on Lake Austin and the wedding at Villa Antonia and I can say nothing but amazing things. She is professional, energetic, dependable, hard working, detail oriented and works to make everything seamless for your perfect day. I mostly loved how she managed the day of the events. Everyone felt so comfortable as she guided the entire wedding party, and provided personal attention through the process on the day of the event. Our venue and the surrounding region even lost power for a few hours and the bride was unaware. Her staff didn't miss a beat. The venue was beautiful, the food delicious, and the wedding was magical. Even though we had her for only the weekend, we felt like she had planned the entire event. Thank you Adriana for such a beautiful weekend for my son and daughter in law.

From the moment of our wedding trial tasting with Adriana ( Red book Chef) her enthusiasm, her listening skills, warmth, care for the concerns of the bridal couple, and the food presentation and taste were superb! She won our hearts as we knew we were in good hands. We were lucky to also hired her for our event planning for the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, wedding and all planning of the festivities. She went above and beyond to help us through the entire process. The bride and groom as well as us ( grooms parents) felt she had their visions met and all their dreams came through. Highly recommend using Red book Chef and especially because of your Adriana!

Experiencia fantástica: Working with RedBook for my wedding was great! They work hard to make your specific needs and wants possible! I have a parent that is very specific with her food. RedBook handled her requests with grace and a smile! The food they produce as well is also just as good. I got the short rib, chicken, and vegan meal. I am vegan myself so I didn't try the other dishes but that meal was so good on my day of (I didn't try their meal during the tasting because we didn't ask for that option). Their staff the day off was professional, on time, and had great energy! The communication was also very smooth. Additionally, when I made the difficult decision to change my wedding date due to covid they were very accommodating. I really appreciated working with them!
Experiencia fantástica: We chose RedBookChef to cater our wedding and it was delicious! They were SO easy to work with and the most fairly priced in the Austin area. We also used their head of catering, Adriana to be our Day Of Coordinator and I could not recommend her any higher! She and the RBC team were a dream to work with!
Experiencia fantástica: We are so grateful to have chosen Red Book Chef to cater our wedding! The entire planning process with them was so easy and we felt very supported. The day of the wedding, Adriana was so accommodating and made sure we had plenty of food and drinks throughout the night! The food was AMAZING and every guest raved about it throughout the night and days after the wedding. Bar service was excellent and for a small fee they were able to pick up the alcohol we ordered and bring it to the venue, which gave us one less thing to worry about on the day of. All service was of great quality and we have nothing, but great things to say about this company and the staff. We chose their BBQ menu, which was delicious (the brisket was a hit).
Experiencia negativa: I would give this review a higher rating if the expectations were met with what was presented to us. First, when we went for our tasting it was by far one the best food and presentations we have ever experienced doing all our tasting. Me and my wife were very pleased. Come wedding day we got far from what we paid alot of money for. We didn’t get any of the presentation or taste we had expected from and we were very dissatisfied. Food was very cold as well. The only thing that went right was that the customer service was phenomenal. They tried everything they could to try and get the food to taste better but it just didn’t happen. Less than half the guest said the food was good but well over half said it had no effort put into it and of course for the bride and groom tasting the food for us is what should have matter the most and it didnt and of course there was no refund of any sort. We wanted to get just something back for just the failure of expectation but that didnt happen. I have mixed feelings on wether I would recommend and they showed they can care less of what the Bride and groom asked for and the expectations that should be met. Hope they can consider whats most important and thats what the Bride and Groom who is paying for it not the guest.
Experiencia fantástica: Red Book Chef made us feel calm and taken care of from the beginning. We had spoken with several caterers prior, and Red Book Chef brought an incredible energy and flexibility that couldn’t be matched by others. We also made the decision to postpone our date from 2020, and even made some minor adjustments as we approached the new date, and they were so easy, flexible, and understanding to work with (and the food was awesome, highly recommended the donut station if you can).

Experiencia fantástica: We used Red Book Chef for our catering and tableware at our wedding. We were beyond impressed! From the first consultation, the communication with Adriana was quick and easy. She was helpful throughout the entire process and So sweet! The tasting was delicious and it was just as yummy on our actual wedding day. We had multiple people tell us the food was actually good, unlike other weddings they had been to! The staff was extremely friendly and did a great job with a 175 person wedding. Lastly, Red Book Chef is actually affordable! It’s hard to find a catering company that doesn’t break the bank but is still good quality. I will recommend RBC to anyone that is looking for a great catering company!

Adriana was great to work with during the planning process and executed our vision to perfection. If you want more elevated food than your typical wedding food then RBC is the perfect choice. Experiencia fantástica: Adriana, Joe and the entire Red Book Chef team are always amazing to work with and make my job easier as a planner. Adriana was responsive during the planning process, always answered my questions, and was able to customize based off the couple's menu needs/dietary restrictions. Joe was super helpful when it came to coming up with suggestions for the signature cocktails and giving us the green light on our Specs order. It's easy to see how passionate he is when it comes to the beverage side of weddings & events. When it came to day-of, the onsite manager Liz and her team were awesome. They were flexible with our ceremony weather delay, took good care of our guests with dietary restrictions (including the bride), and were helpful throughout the entire evening. Red Book Chef is definitely one of my main go-to caterers that I refer to my couples and I cannot wait to work with them again soon!
Experiencia fantástica: Red Book Chef was recommended by our amazing wedding planner and we couldn't be happier. Adriana worked with us to develop our brunch menu and even customized a few of their options to match our tastes. She was very responsive to several questions, and helped recommend the best wines to match with their mimosa and sangria mixers. The tasting was so great and the team was very interested in getting our feedback and ready to make adjustments (none were needed!). The service was awesome; the bartender and wait staff were very attentive and professional. We received a ton of compliments on the food from our guests as well.
Experiencia fantástica: The entire experience working with them was amazing. Our venue changed 6 weeks before the wedding and we had to re-plan SEVERAL things. These guys were recommended by the new venue and exceeded expectations. Every time I passed the bartender she made sure to ask if I needed anything and made sure I was always taken care of. These guys are truly wonderful and you will not regret hiring them for your day!

Experiencia fantástica: Redbook Chef was amazing from start to finish. Adriana was great in helping us create the perfect menu for our intimate wedding! We chose to do a wide array of heavy appetizers/small plates to flow throughout the night. Our guests were raving about the food for days! Often times, caterers will overlook smaller/less expensive events, but Redbook made us feel as equally as important as they would a huge/over-the-top event. The entire staff was accommodating and friendly and provided excellent service to our guests. Can't praise them enough! Thank you Redbook team!

Experiencia fantástica: Adriana did an amazing job from the point of us contacting her all the way through our wedding. She was very responsive, always willing to help with our ideas on what we wanted, and would make suggestions as needed. The food was fantastic! I don't think there was one thing that I didn't enjoy (especially the appetizers) The staff was also very nice and while we did only have 15 people for our Covid wedding, they were very attentive and kind when something was requested. If you have the chance to get flowers from her, I would highly suggest doing so. The team she has for flowers did an amazing job in setting up and creating the feel for our winter wedding. The bouquet all the way to the table décor was fantastic. Highly, highly recommend!
Experiencia fantástica: We worked with Laura and Adriana for over a year, and they did everything possible to ensure a perfect wedding day for me and my wife. Did multiple tastings to figure out what we wanted and had constant communication for changes. We worked with them through the COVID-19 pandemic, and they were safe, flexible, and extremely easy to work with through such a difficult time. Wait staff that worked the wedding were all spot on, and between our event coordinator and Adriana, the night flowed seamlessly. Joe tended our bar, and all the guests raved about how great he was and how amazing his drinks were. Finally, food was absolutely fantastic. Our theme and personal preferences were all taken into account with the meal options, and I can not recommend them enough.
Experiencia fantástica: Everyone knows that planning a wedding is hard and stressful. Planning a wedding during a pandemic reaches completely different levels of stress and anxiety. The Red Book Chef was absolutely amazing. They took care of everything and maintained covid protocols to help make our guests feel safe. We are so thrilled with our choice!
Experiencia fantástica: Adriana gave us one of the best customer service experiences we have ever had. Other than raving about how beautiful my sweet bride looked, the next most frequent comments were about: (1) the signature cocktails; (2) the beautiful tables; and (3) "dat short rib doe!" Two couples at our wedding who are planning their own nuptials asked us for vendor recommendations. We told them what we will be telling everyone from now on: Red Book Chef is as good as it gets.

Experiencia fantástica: I hired Adriana for my 175 person wedding before COVID, and she has been extremely understanding regarding changes we needed to make regarding the pandemic. Their food and drinks are delicious. Their business is extremely honest and their communication is excellent. They offer many services in addition to catering and bartending for brides looking for rentals, florals and other items.
Experiencia fantástica: We couldn’t recommend Red Book Chef enough! Laura and Adriana were so great to work while planning our wedding in Dripping Springs. They have really great ideas if you’re feeling overwhelmed like we were. The wedding turned out lovely and our guests really enjoyed themselves. Adriana is awesome and kept everything running smoothly. The food and drinks were fantastic! We definitely recommend the pasta bar and ice cream sandwiches!
Experiencia fantástica: Red Book Chef makes some of the most amazing food I have ever had! We recently had them cater our wedding and everything was perfect. Our family and guest's have had nothing but positive remarks about everything from the taste to the presentation! All of the food was fresh and cooked on site. Adriana and her team were extremely helpful and insightful throughout the whole planning process. You can't go wrong with any of their food or drink selections, but I highly recommend the prickly pear margarita and mini chicken and waffle bites... to die for!!
