She did a fabulous job and has an eye for design! She started out by understanding my vision, then suggested many vendors in all price points to help execute the vision, and remained in communication with all vendors and needs throughout the process. She was readily available for any questions I had and always remained calm. She helped me stay within budget and helped me decide what was “worth it” and what wasn’t. On the day of, everything went smoothly! It was a great experience. My fiance and maid of honor also loved working with her!

Experiencia fantástica: Sarah was absolutely amazing to work with start to finish. From the very first day we booked with her she outlined for us what our timeline with her would look like. She not only provided us with an entire Google dock of documents, which I used throughout the entire wedding planning process, but met with us in person and on zoom at least five times that I can think of minimum. She attended our tasting with us as well as the final walk-through and our rehearsal the night before it truly felt like she was involved in every part of the process! That only begins to describe the interactions we had with her before the big day, on our actual wedding day, saying how her and her assistant worked verified that hiring her was one of the best decisions I made in the entire planning process. She communicated with me without any problems, she was always punctual and problem-solving for me. She kept me calm on the wedding day and my family completely agreed that she kept the show running! Thinking back on the entire wedding, planning process, choosing to hire Sarah with Jade and Onyx events was absolutely the best decision I made and the best use of my money!

Experiencia fantástica: My daughter got married 2 weeks ago and she had the pleasure of using Sarah (Jade and Onyx) as a wedding planner. Sarah worked closely with the bride and groom to get a clear idea of their vision. My daughter was particularly excited to work with Sarah because of her strength in making the wedding venue look beautiful. As the mother of the bride, I got the peace of mind of knowing that my daughter had someone to guide her through all of the decisions to be made. Sarah was instrumental in making wise choices of vendors and she helped us save money getting the most bang for the buck. On the day of the wedding Sarah and her assistant took care of everything. It was more beautiful than I could have imagined. At one point during the reception I thought about how I got to enjoy everything without any anxiety about what was supposed to happen and whether or not it was being handled. The groom commented the following day that there were probably things that came up that were resolved before he was even aware there was a problem! I would recommend her without reservation.

Despite being our month of coordinator they made sure to stay in touch and answer any questions we had at any point in time - which lets be honest there's always a ton of questions! Sarah brought a lot of industry insight and has relationships with almost all of the vendors we selected which made things even easier. Their ability to understand our style and preferences made the planning process seamless and enjoyable. With all of this combined Sarah helped show us where we could save on cost which is always a huge plus! They also provided a suite of tools that we could use and help us along the process. Experiencia fantástica: Sarah and everyone at Jade & Onyx were amazing! We used them for mid-level coordinating and they were true partners in helping us with vendors we already had as well as identifying new vendors. Sarah was also great at suggesting additional decor ideas (which really added to the vibe!) and ways for us to save money in areas we didn’t want to break the bank. She was very responsive and I never felt confined to only a certain number of meetings - she just wanted everything to be in a good place for our big day. She also went above and beyond - We didn’t live in Austin at the time of the wedding and let me send some personal items for the wedding to her directly which was a huge help. Sarah couldn’t be there the day of our wedding but I was never concerned because she had everything confirmed ahead of time and was able to brief our day or coordinators. The day of lead coordinator and assistant were also AMAZING. I got to actually enjoy my wedding day because they were on top of the schedule, putting out items and even packing up all our personal items to put in a family member’s car at the end of the night. All I had to do was movie with guests and dance the night away. Truly the best money I ever spent!

I had a bunch of different ideas for the wedding but Sarah helped hone down my options and vision based on what was available, feasible, and realistic. She had a lot of different recommendations and helped us find a few of our favorite vendors. On the day of the wedding, Sarah made the event feel seamless and made sure my husband and I were completely worry-free. She helped coordinate all the vendors a few weeks ahead as well as the day of the event. She also had some great wedding decor tips and tricks that we really appreciated!! Our venue ended up being in our private backyard in Houston and Sarah helped seamlessly execute the event even though she has never worked with the site before. Given she has never seen it, she made a drive out to Houston specifically to visit the backyard so that she could have a better understanding of how the floor layout could work. I can tell Sarah has had years of experience in event planning with the way she laid out the the floorplan and took into consideration every detail and the flow of the event and executed it perfectly. We appreciate her dedication, detail orientation, and day-of execution so much!! From the moment we met Sarah, we knew she would help us get things done. Experiencia fantástica: I’m not big on writing reviews, but Sarah killed it in every way. I was initially nervous about the lack of other reviews on here but let me tell you - she was perfect. I’m talking absolutely fantastic. My husband couldn’t get over how many audibles she had to handle. She handled them all fantastically. We planned this wedding for a year and a half and she was there every single step of the way. When I had a freak out - she got it. When the family was being dramatic she told me how to fix it. I mean sis - like quit reading this dang review and just go hire her. She fixed everything down to the last minute detail. She even got the fireworks in EARLY when I was ready for the wedding to be over earlier than we expected. She checked in with me throughout the reception to make sure we were doing what I still wanted to do in what order because let me tell you - I was changing things left and right and you know what? It didn’t even matter. I think she would have had a solution even if my freaking dress caught on fire mid ceremony, and probs would’ve still been able to save the train. She is so far above and beyond my expectations that I quite literally cannot describe it.

Experiencia fantástica: I could not have wished for a better planner experience. Sarah Avigne is an absolute pro, and her day of assistant, Amanda, also did an incredible job. Sarah organized and managed my vendors to ensure everything came together beautifully on my wedding day despite some last minute additions I made and an outdoor ceremony in cold and rainy conditions. I could not have asked for a more beautiful wedding, and the credit for that goes directly to Sarah and her team. I am SO grateful I found her. All of our guests commented on the beauty and elegance of the event, and literally all of my family members made special mention of Sarah and how seamlessly she managed the operation. There is NO WAY we would have pulled off such an AMAZING day without her and her team!

Experiencia fantástica: Hiring Jade & Onyx to help us with planning for the wedding really helped take a lot of the stress and mental load off during a particularly busy season of our lives. They turned our high-level idea into a detailed plan and ran it brilliantly from start to finish. We came to them with a venue, a caterer, a photographer, and the idea for an Asian night market theme, and Jade & Onyx found the rest of the vendors we needed to make our theme come to life. They set us up with an event designer that was able to rent Chinese lanterns for us and a DJ that learned to run karaoke specifically for our event. We wanted Mahjong, so Jade & Onyx researched renting Mahjong sets and hiring attendants to teach and run Mahjong games, and when they concluded that that would be prohibitively expensive, they came up with a slew of creative solutions until we landed on one that met our requirements and fit within our budget. We appreciated that Jade & Onyx came with lots of past experience to make sure we had a good guest flow, venue layout, and more, all of which could have detracted from the event if done wrong. They also came up with our detailed event timeline, making sure there was never a dull moment the entire night while also giving our guests enough time to enjoy everything. Their existing relationships with many of the vendors meant that vendor communication was also smooth and efficient. In terms of the day-of execution, the feeling of knowing everything was going to be taken care of was truly special. We knew everything that was going to happen and it all just happened in front of us. We could relax and enjoy the moments as they passed. There were some things that needed to be tweaked throughout the evening, but Jade & Onyx were always on top of any surprises and adjusted everything in a sensible and transparent way. In summary, Jade & Onyx just got things done for us. We really enjoyed their can-do attitude and appreciated that they were always on top of things. We weren’t expecting compliments from our guests that our wedding was “well-planned” of all things, and we have Jade & Onyx to thank for making our vision a reality.

Experiencia fantástica: We hired Sarah A. as our month of coordinator and she was absolutely amazing. Most of the vendors we hired were her recommendations and all were stellar. Not only that, but she made herself available even before the month of the event, providing guidance and checkpoints along the way, as well as answering all our questions promptly, and clueing us into how to schedule our day in order to minimize stress. As we got closer to the wedding, we were sad to find out that Sarah couldn't come due to a family emergency, but she had three of her other team members cover our rehearsal and wedding day and everything went flawlessly. All my husband and I had to do was enjoy our day, and Jade and Onyx took care of the rest. Seeing how smoothly our wedding went actually convinced an out of state family member to hire their own planner. Sarah and the entire team made our wedding day relaxing for us and an absolute blast for our friends, and I'd recommend any of them in a heartbeat!

Experiencia fantástica: Jade & Onyx made our wedding at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center the best experience ever. We didn't know if we would be able to hire them, because they were a bit out of our price range, but they worked with our budget (which we are so thankful for.) Sarah A. arranged multiple calls with us starting from about 90 days out, which was a pleasant surprise since most day-of coordinators will only start talking to you 30 days out. We had virtual meetings together throughout the 90 days, slowly going through and solidifying the details of the wedding. Most importantly, we talked through what we wanted the overall vibe/atmosphere to be like. I had been in contact with other coordinators who had stellar reviews, but when I talked with them they seemed a bit negative and told me that certain things we wanted couldn’t be done/would be difficult to get done… Personally, I wanted a coordinator that took my ideas/wants and brainstormed ways to make them a reality. Sarah really listened to what was important to us, and worked with us and all of our other vendors to make that a reality. Not everything on our wedding day went exactly according to plan because that's just how weddings go (for example, our speeches went over about 30 minutes lol!), but they made sure the overall atmosphere and vibe stayed consistent throughout, and that the things that were most important to us were executed seamlessly. We both had the most relaxing and enjoyable wedding day. We feel so lucky to have had them.

Experiencia fantástica: Working with Sarah at Jade + Onyx was the absolute best experience I could have asked for. I came to her with a vision of having a romantic, Italian-inspired outdoor wedding. Not only did she help me find the perfect venue in the Texas Hill Country, but she also assisted with finding the amazing vendors from floral, food, entertainment, furniture rentals, and more. She ran point on the floral wall for photos, organizing the 13-piece band, renting the modern chic furniture, getting the perfect lighting and a floral ceremony piece that became the statement piece of the wedding. The best part was that she developed the schedule for me for all of the vendors and was there the day-of to make that everything went off without a hitch. I can't recommend Sarah enough, she has the best taste and I'm so happy she was a part of our special day.

Experiencia fantástica: I had two different aesthetics in mind that Sarah blended together seamlessly to create an elegant garden themed wedding with rustic elements. I was a more laid back bride in that I didn't come ready with a million ideas that I had been thinking about since childhood so I trusted Sarah to bring her professional expertise and she let the small details that I hadn't even thought about really enhance our wedding. She was so organized and attentive even down to making sure each table setting was perfect. All of her planning and hard work allowed me to have the most amazing day. And it really was perfect from start to finish!
