I could list 100 reasons why it was a 5 star experience but here are some of the highlights: - I live in Boston but got married in Atlanta. Sydney was able to take away all of the stress of planning a wedding from another state. I felt as involved as I would’ve if I were living in Atlanta. - She truly understood my vision and executed. Our wedding looked exactly like our inspiration photos, but actually even better!! - She was beyond organized. In the wise words of one of my bridesmaids, “Sydney could run the country”. - Whether it was a lint roller, my flats to change into, or the exact shade of lipstick I happened to be wearing, Sydney has a way of magically appearing with exactly what you (or your guests) need before you even ask for it. - She is an absolute joy to be around!! You spend a lot of time with your wedding planner. From planning the event, to being right next to you throughout one of the most emotional days of your life, you’re around them A LOT!! She is a breath of fresh air to be around. Her cheerful and calm demeanor will put you at ease and most importantly you will have fun and laugh!!! - I’m extremely Type A but I spent my entire wedding weekend with the mentality of “I’m not worried about it, Sydney’s got it!!!”. We had a lot of moving pieces, and she always made sure nothing fell through the cracks, even when we didn't have much availability to help. Our event planner was the incomparable Laura Burchfield herself! She handled everything from the welcome party to the ceremony, reception, and after party. She even helped find us hotel blocks and floral and design. She was incredible to work with and her connections in Atlanta and the Greater Atlanta area helped make our vision a reality. Most importantly, she was able pivot based on every hitch. When we needed a change in venue to fit more guests, she was able to find us a place last minute that exceeded our expectations. Everywhere we went, everyone knew Laura Burchfield and everyone would always say "You got the best person on your team." She would get us the best deals and learned our preferences to save us time. She even helped us find a dog handler last minute so that our sweet puppy could be in our wedding! It's not easy to throw an Indian fusion wedding. It's very stressful trying to combine both cultures and keep all parties happy. We wanted to have a modern wedding with aspects of Indian cultures that were important to us. When we would come to Laura with a vision, she would help us execute it and give advice based on her years of experience in the industry to make it as magical as possible.

Experiencia fantástica: When my husband and I were planning our wedding, we contacted Laura. After learning a little about us, she paired us up with her associate planner, Sydney. We LOVE Sydney!!! Our personalities mesh well together, and she was sooo helpful and listened and understood all our questions (and we had a LOT!). Experiencia fantástica: We used Laura to help coordinate our dream wedding in September 2018. Leading up to the wedding we gave her all of our details and expectations for the wedding day. She was very attentive and tuned in to our needs with very little need for directions beyond our initial conversation. Communication was succinct and appropriate for each situation. She totally understands the stress planning a wedding can create and she was there to pick up right where we left off on our wedding day. On the wedding day, Laura and her team were present and available. They immediately arrived on site and began coordinating with the other vendors without any interruptions to the photos that were underway. Too bad most of my wedding guests were married before me, because they all RAVED about the perfect evening, put on by the perfect planning team. Brace yourselves for ALL the details: BACKGROUND/SCALE: Our wedding was at The Four Seasons Hotel in midtown Atlanta (@ FSAtlanta, Shannon, Chelsea...you were all amazing) for 160 people, a Terrace ceremony and Ballroom reception with a Korean Paebaek Ceremony and farewell brunch added in. I was also tasked with planning this mostly by myself, as my parents live overseas in Singapore. So I needed help. BEFORE LAURA: I was stressed beyond belief and started planning pretty early on in my engagement (total time: 8 months, -2 months of holidays...thanksgiving, Xmas, New Years, and super bowl 2019). All of the wedding planning checklists available online had me freaked out that I was either doing too much, or not doing enough. I called around to a few wedding planners/coordinators in Atlanta, but quickly got overwhelmed with all the options and the long process. INSERT LAURA: I mentioned my frustrations to Julie Coffin (shout out to the best florist ever @ Ufebuckhead), who was surprised that I hadn’t called Laura FIRST. So I did as I was told and called Laura Burchfield for what was supposed to be a short intro conversation...which we turned into an hour long conversation about SOME wedding related stuff...but mostly chatted about everything else as if we were friends from another lifetime. She also immediately made recommendations on vendors (and her transparency was SO appreciated), and my complete dependence/reliance on her only grew from there. MY EXPERIENCE: Throughout the planning process, we: went to lunch, went over timelines, texted after midnight (only when I needed to vent), laughed, (I) cried, (she) took selfies , and we had FUN! My now husband thanked her profusely (basically on his knees) at the wedding for her uncanny ability to bring me out of my deep depressions and funks when I thought things were falling apart...which was daily. She alone had the power to do that. EXAMPLE: Two days before my wedding, I was in fetal position, mourning the death of my escort cards at the hands of Office Depot in Dunwoody (don’t go there). When anyone else, including my husband, tried to comfort me...plotted their demise. When LAURA told me not to worry, (that I was being crazy), and that she’d fix it, I immediately relaxed. That’s the effect she has. Because she actually is able to handle any/everything that goes wrong in no time at all. No big deal. Laura was the only one who could set me straight AND keep me sane at the same time. WEDDING DAY: Smooth sailing. Absolutely everything was perfect. Oh, don’t get me wrong- I was definitely running behind schedule per the timeline we had painstakingly built. But at no point did Laura make us feel we were behind. When our fur children decided they weren’t going to walk adorably down the aisle like they were supposed to...she let me know in the kindest way possible that they were just going to be cutest greeters ever. This was also singularly the best decision made that entire evening. Everyone (including Laura) had suggested I sip champagne instead of shooting tequila while getting ready. But when she came up to my room and saw the almost empty bottle of Casamigos Reposado, she just laughed with me and at me and made d*mn sure I could still walk my *ss down that aisle, and have the best night of my life. Then, we texted and laughed about it (I'm sure for years to come). CONCLUSION: Do yourselves a favor. Just call Laura. Do it. ADDITIONAL INFO: Laura now has experience planning Korean Paebaek ceremonies with the now infamous Jang (the only paebaek rental store/master of ceremonies in the southeast (@ hanboknara)

She did an excellent job of understanding both the vision that my mom had and that I had for my wedding day. She seamlessly meshed both of our styles and created a day that we both loved. Her communication was top notch throughout the entire process. I always felt like I knew what was going on and what decisions were coming up. Her timelines and vision boards were outstanding and perfectly depicted the plans. She is extremely detail oriented and made sure that every single aspect of the weekend was what we wanted. No matter the day or time, Laura was always available to answer questions and go over any wedding weekend details.Her responses were always prompt and detailed. If I could do my wedding over again, Laura's services would be the first thing that I made sure I secured. She is an amazing wedding planner and I cannot imagine using anyone else. I will absolutely recommend her to all of my friends and family who are looking for a wedding planner. 5 stars is not enough to describe all of the hard work she put into making my wedding day incredible.

She was by our side the entire way, and she made planning an out of town wedding feel effortless. The vendors Laura brought to us - whether it was floral, lighting, music, etc. - all produced amazing work, and they all seemed to work in harmony on the big day. My mother-in-law recognized Laura's beautiful work and ended up hiring her for help with the rehearsal dinner... a true testament! In addition to her professional planning services, Laura felt like a friend to us and found a way to calm any nerves that surfaced during our time together. I would absolutely recommend Laura to anyone planning a wedding. She's the best!

We hired vendors she recommended and they were all wonderful. They worked together like a well oiled machine. We were planning the wedding out of state, and working with Laura made the process a whole lot easier. Laura always responded fast to texts and emails, and did tons of little things that made planning a lot less stressful for us. She also has great taste! I didn’t know where to begin with things like picking linen colors, and so I gave her full reign and she did not disappoint! She also made some design decisions that I would not have originally thought of that worked out amazing! Hiring Laura and adding on partial planning was a great decision for us!

My daughter's wedding ran smoothly and Laura worked out any small glitches as they occurred. She scheduled and orchestrated each minute of the wedding reception flawlessly. My emailed questions were answered quickly and professionally so I could pull together the vendors and other details and then turn everything completely over to Laura on the wedding day. What a relief to be able to enjoy the wedding day without any worries.

Experiencia fantástica: Laura was amazing. From start to finish she helped make our wedding weekend absolutely perfect. She has fantastic ideas, and follows through on your vision. We used her for Full Service Planning for our wedding of about 175 people and it was so worth it. Planning a wedding is stressful and it was stressful even with Laura's help. I think I would have had a mental breakdown if we hadn't hired her. Everything we asked for she delivered on, for the whole weekend. She helped us to plan an entire weekend of events at Barnsley Resort. She anticipated when and what I would most likely drop the ball on, and always had me covered. It ended up raining on our wedding day, so we had to go with our back up plan, which was difficult for me because I had my heart set on being married under a large oak tree outside. By the time the day came, and the call had to be made I was disappointed but I knew Laura would make the back up plan just beautiful and she did. To top it off she is a very enjoyable person to be around and plan with, smart, creative, and sweet.

After talking the first time I knew she was the perfect planner for me. We started working together about 11 months before my New Years Eve wedding. From timelines to coordination to therapist there wasn't anything Laura didnt do. She helped me track down my dress when my bridal store shut down, referred awesome vendors, set up appointments, helped me deal with family drama, found us a dance instructor two months before wedding when our original instructors fell through. She turned my Pinterest wedding dreams into a reality. It was a perfect day and a huge part of that was because of Laura. She truly is the best wedding planner in the world.
