Madison was responsive, professional, and an all-around lovely individual to have as our “head planner.” We had a lot of changes of plans in the beginning, and she was able to adjust and accommodate our needs without hesitation. Even dealing with emotional members of our families was no issue for her—she approached every situation with grace and compassion. I am just so grateful she was there on our special day! She even had a niche, personal issue that didn’t allow her to be there the whole wedding day, but she informed me about it a full week in advance and made sure we would have another full-time planner there when she left. In came Kate! I didn’t meet her until our wedding day, but she was so kind and treated my husband and me like she had known us for years. Even when I started to feel overwhelmed by the sheer craziness of the day, she made sure everything was in order, and whatever we needed, we had. Overall, I have absolutely NOTHING bad to say about SomethingFabulous! If you are thinking about booking them, don’t think—just do it! Experiencia fantástica: Because I'm a wedding officiant, I work with a lot of planners. Last weekend, I worked with Rachel Le from Something Fabulous. She really was fabulous! The rehearsal, the ceremony, were all organized meticulously, so the family and guests felt completely relaxed and able to savor the day. I couldn't recommend her, or Something Fabulous more highly.

We initially met with more than one team of Raleigh wedding planners, but we ended up with SFW because it was very obvious that you are getting the most bang for your buck. We were very lucky to get to meet with Trent, Ashley, and Madison throughout the year, and they made us feel like we were a priority to them. Leading up to the event Madison was our lead planner and quickly became our close friend. SFW reorganized their team at the last minute to make sure that we would have more than enough support for our wedding to go off without a hitch, and in my opinion they went above and beyond what we paid for in our contract. We're very thankful for Madison, Trent, Brittni, Kate, and Ashley for making sure that our day was absolutely perfect, either beforehand or day of, and we miss them dearly already. So many of my family and friends have remarked on how on top of things the whole team was whether it was individually checking on people with dietary restrictions or smoothly moving the night along according to the timeline. I could write so much more, but if you want a wedding day full of laughs and love where you don't have to stress about a single thing, then this is the team you want.

After an initial call with Trent and Kate, my partner and I were sold. We did the "event management" package (similar to a day-of coordinator) but the value was SO much more than that. They kicked off the meeting with such warmth and professionalism. Every time after that we communicated with Kate, she was prompt, patient, and so sweet. The team helped us plan the most organized, personalized wedding and we are so grateful! On the wedding day, the Something Fabulous team continued to deliver. Experiencia fantástica: I could write a forever long review, but I will try to keep it concise for you. Hire them! The best decision I ever made (and very first decision as a fiancé) was hiring Something Fabulous. I had Trent and Kate working with me yesterday and I wasn’t stressed in the least about the day. Things that came up that I didn’t expect: 1. My great aunt choked and Trent saved her (I wish I was joking). 2. My bridesmaid’s grandma showed up uninvited and the team dove into action to make sure she had a spot. 3. My cousin had the EMS called and the team didn’t even have to let me know. This did not define my event. 4. The uninvited grandma? She fell in the bathroom and busted her arm open. The team took care of this without my knowledge. Now, I am probably an anomaly with all of these crazy things happening, but NONE of them overshadowed the wedding. Majority of guests weren’t even aware they happened, including myself, and that’s how it should be. My guests have continuously commented how amazing Trent and Kate are and my vendors were ecstatic with how organized the team was. If I had to do it all over again (money being no object), I would make them my first decision over and over again. If you want to feel like your day is a breeze (we all have nerves, but you genuinely don’t want to worry), hire Something Fabulous.

Right from the very beginning, Trent was so careful and intentional about listening to our vision for the big day. He offered helpful advice, important suggestions, and often a listening ear. He had absolutely everything under control, and had thought of and was taking care of things that never even crossed my mind. And the day of the wedding - he was EVERYWHERE! And when the final dance was over and the last sparkler fizzled out, where was Trent? Well, he was helping to pack up all the bins and still working to help us clear out of the venue. We loved the Something Fabulous team from our introductory call because of their fun energy, attention to detail, and ability to navigate complex wedding dynamics. We got so much more than we could have ever hoped for with this incredible team. Our wedding day was stress-free because of all the little details SF handled. Our space looked beautiful—we brought in some décor and the team set up the room better than we could have ourselves. Trent confirmed all the vendors before I could even think to do it—even ones I forgot should be confirmed. When we had a button mishap 30 minutes before the ceremony, the SF team appeared with a sewing kit to save the day. Trent was our lead planner with Brittni as the supporting planner. They made sure we (and our guests) were well taken care of all day. We also were able to add on to our contract so that SF helped our “Silent Disco” afterparty. Tommy was the planner for that and made sure the pizza was delivered, everybody had their headsets, and that people knew when the buses were coming. I can’t speak highly enough of the SF team. They guided us on the little details that we didn’t even think about and answered bigger questions like how much we should tip our vendors. We are still getting compliments on how seamlessly our wedding ran, thanks largely to Something Fabulous. Their energy on wedding day made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. I can’t recommend them enough!

Madison went above and beyond to help us bring our wedding vision to life and ensured that we could fully enjoy every aspect of our special day. Her attention to detail and expert coordination made everything run seamlessly (including saving the day getting a bad makeup stain out of my dress 15 minutes before the ceremony!). One of the biggest stress relievers was her taking over all vendor communications in the weeks leading up to the wedding, allowing us to focus on our families and the excitement of the moment. We were able to email and ask questions leading up to our first in-person meeting, which was so helpful with our planning process – to have that resource available. Everything on the day of the wedding went super smoothly and we didn't have to worry about any details! They had drinks and apps ready for me and my husband right after the ceremony, our food served immediately, and even checked in on our pup throughout the night! They set up and tore down all our decorations, including intricate details like centerpieces and attaching our garland onto the rented cross on the day of. We had an initial interview with Trent and just loved the energy and care he put out so we decided to move forward with contracting them for our event. Our coordinator was Madison and she was GREAT! They provided us with a list of resources and recommended vendors to begin our search with and then throughout the entire process just made sure every little detail was handled and addressed. They have a system and a process and IT WORKS! Madison also made sure to be present during our walk-throughs of the venue, handled SO MUCH of the communication and coordination between our different vendors and quickly and readily responded to our emails and questions, while providing well-thought out suggestions. Experiencia fantástica: We hired ‘Something Fabulous’ for our wedding in Currie (just outside Wilmington). Despite the distance from the triangle area, Ashley and Trent were with us every step of the way. My (now) husband and I were totally lost and overwhelmed with everything that goes into planning a wedding so we decided on their full planning service. I’m so glad we did! I had a million ideas and I felt like I was all over the place. Ashley and Trent helped me organize all of those ideas in a tasteful, but cost-efficient manner. As someone that can get carried away way too easily, the budget planner was a savior throughout the entire planning process. With Trent and Ashley’s help, we stayed on budget without compromising any of the visions we had for our big day. On to the wedding day…it was so perfect and exceeded everything I had ever dreamed of. Kari and Brittni were our coordinators for the day and they absolutely killed it. They were consistently attentive and knowledgeable. They made sure I had a drink in my hand all night! I also had a lot of random items I had brought for the welcome table, memorial table, favor table, etc. I didn’t really even know how I wanted it all set up so I gave them creative freedom and the final products were gorgeous, cohesive, and functional. Three things I’ve always heard about weddings: 1. Planning is stressful. 2. There’s a lot of moving pieces that go into a wedding and it’s almost inevitable that something will go wrong on wedding day. 3. They’re expensive. Our experience with ‘Something Fabulous’ taught us that these things can be avoided with the right planning team. Looking back on the planning, I do not remember feeling overwhelmed or worried because I knew Trent and Ashley had it handled. If anything went wrong on our wedding day, I certainly didn’t notice. The day went by so smoothly! Everything and everyone was on time. Setup and breakdown was efficient and simple despite all the little (and some big) details I wanted to be included. Our wedding was only as expensive as we wanted it to be. We told Ashley and Trent our budget and they made sure we stuck with it. That was a great feeling to have at the end of our wedding day knowing it was perfect without breaking the bank. So many of my guests have expressed how flawless and fun our wedding was and that is in large part due to the amazing team that ‘Something Fabulous’ is!

We knew we could do a lot of the initial coordination with our vendors but needed some structure and guidance to help us get started in terms of vendor selection and understanding how to break down our budget. The tools and resources they provided made it easy for us to select an INCREDIBLE vendor team, and Ashley was available for questions throughout. The final few months leading up to the wedding Ashley took over the coordination with our vendors which allowed us to focus on getting ready for the big day. Ashley and her team who were with us on our wedding day did a fantastic job making sure everything was exactly as we’d hoped. We cannot say enough good things about Ashley, Trent, and the entire Something Fabulous team!

I was connected with him through a friend to help design a layout for my engagement party turned wedding reception,  as my husband and I surprised our guests that we had already got married before they arrived. Trent took the time to consider all of the needs of our vendors as well as the logistics of keeping things under wraps until we made our big announcement. He even created a rain plan in case we couldn't use the outdoor area. I felt like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders after we met.
