Fantastic experience: As a photographer, I truly wish Girls in Black were at every single wedding I capture. From the planning process to the wedding day itself, working with them was effortless. Their team was incredibly helpful, professional, and a valuable part of the celebration. Here are just a few of the things we loved about working with them: •Incredibly fast response times •They built a practical, well-paced timeline that kept the day stress-free •Handled everything with grace and professionalism •Took amazing care of the couple •And most importantly, they approach weddings as joyful, one-of-a-kind celebrations—not just another cookie-cutter event If you're looking for a team that elevates the entire wedding experience, Girls in Black is it.

Negative experience: Disappointed by this event planner. We initially set up a phone call to discuss our wedding. I scheduled through the link that Girls in Black had requested for us to do. I got ghosted and didn’t hear back. I followed up via email if we were having a call that we scheduled in advance and got no response. Really unprofessional. If they were unavailable, all it took is an email to let us they are unavailable.

Fantastic experience: These ladies are AMAZING!! They know how to plan a wedding day and execute it with perfection! My family and I were able to enjoy my wedding day because GIB had it all under control! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Fantastic experience: My mom was relaxed on my wedding day and if you have even met my mom, you would understand how that was a miracle. That was 100% because of the Girls in Black. I hired Girls in Black to do coordination on my wedding day only and I do wish I hired them to do full planning. They were so wonderful before and during my wedding day. I don't know what we would have done without them. If you are on the fence about hiring a coordinator/hiring Girls in Black, DO IT. Here is an un-comprehensive list of everything they did as they did so much that I deff forgot multiple things: Before Wedding - Had meetings with us leading up to our wedding date to help run through everything we had planned and every vendor we have booked to ensure we were on track. - Provided excellent vendor recommendations. - Jumped on a meeting with me to calm me down whenever I freaked out about something prior to the wedding - Created a very detailed Day of Timeline - Contacted all vendors, understood how much time each vendor needed for prep, made sure every vendor knew where and when they needed to be day of. During Wedding Day - Ensured all vendors were on time & on schedule - Took all personal decor to venue (guest books, signs, flip flops, bathroom baskets, card box etc) and dropped it back at the end of the night neatly and organized - Wrangled everyone in a calm and kind manner - Made sure everyone was where they need to be when they needed to be (ex. my now mother-in-law kept wandering away & they seemed to always know exactly where she disappeared to and made sure that she was where she was supposed to be during key moments) - Helped me with my bustle - Helped me change out of my wedding dress into my second dress - When my husband complained that his feet hurt, they ran back to the hotel to get him a change of shoes - Had our hotel rooms cleaned and organized so we came back to 0 mess - Returned all gifts, cards, jewelry to our room and ensured that it was safe and secure - Kindly and subtly handled complex family dynamics with no judgment that popped up suddenly during the wedding - Helped follow through with any requests we had during the wedding from simple things like asking the DJ to make the music louder to checking on a friend who was not feeling well

Fantastic experience: As father of the bride, I personally witnessed these wonderful ladies execute with personal care, professionalism and precision. Girls in black provided the bride and groom with the experience and celebration they envisioned. Girls in black’s years of coordinating and planning experience was crucial in making this wedding momentous and unforgettable. Great job ladies. Thanks!

Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for the best wedding planners, say yes to these two fabulous women. They are organized, great communicators and truly want the best for your big event. As the mother of the bride, I knew the wedding would be perfect because of their preparation before hand. Their professionalism freed us up of many duties and worries that come with planning a wedding as they were with us throughout the whole planning process. Their coordinated timeline with all the vendors as well as the handling of all the extras for the reception….from rehearsal to Sunday morning delivering to our home gifts etc. , make Jamie and Kerrie the perfect pair to celebrate the perfect day!!! They were truly incredible and these few words can never express our sincere gratitude to them.

Fantastic experience: As a photographer, having an incredible planner leading the way on a wedding day is so important. Kerrie and Jamie are the best of the best. I have been a part of high production weddings where everything ran incredibly smooth. All of this due to their ability to orchestrate a beautiful wedding day and juggle all vendors involved. They are fun and incredibly kind too. Can’t recommend them enough for a couples wedding day!

Fantastic experience: I was initially questioning whether or not we really needed planners for our wedding day. I was very confident in planning, but thought we could use some help on the day of to keep everything flowing smoothly. That being said, I don’t know how we could have done it without Jamie and Kerrie! They were seriously the best, most helpful part of our day! Worth every single penny. Everyone in our wedding party commented on how great they were as well. I could not recommend them more!

Fantastic experience: I would give them TEN THOUSAND stars if I could. These ladies are true wedding day HEROES. They came highly recommended by my venue for day-of coordination and it's honestly the best money I've ever spent. I got a taste of what it was like to be Kim Kardashian for a day... being the bride you have 1,000 things of your own to do on your wedding day and 500 more that pop up throughout the day. They help manage and keep you calm. They took such good care of not only me, but my fiance and our parents and wedding party throughout the day and night. They handled every little task which enabled us all to be present and soak everything in. Our rings got stolen the morning of our wedding and they calmed us down and became the guardians of our stand-in replacement rings. I woke up with a swollen knee on my wedding day and they kept getting me ice and even came prepared with some backup flip flops I ended up needing when I just couldn't wear my heels anymore. They seem to know what you need or what to do with only a look. They took care of transporting and setting up all of our personal items for the rehearsal dinner and the wedding.. just TRUE MVPs. They are the biggest and best support you can have on your wedding day to make it a happy and streamlined day for you and I cannot recommend them enough. I will TRULY be forever grateful to GIB and never forget the part they played in our big day. They are literally the best ever!!!

Fantastic experience: We can't thank the Girls in Black enough for making our day run as smooth as possible. They were at our hotel bright and early, and ready to rock immediately. They made sure wedding day prep ran on time and smoothly, coordinating arrival of hair & makeup, florals, groom prep and insuring all family arrived on time for group photos (also made sure we all ate and drank plenty of water!!) They were experts at holding out my veil and then quickly running away to get the perfect shot :) While we were waiting to start the ceremony to start they ran around and played with the ring bearers as they were getting restless. The night ran as smooth as possible! Even when my second dress zipper split down the back (yes that happened!), the girls quickly had all hands on deck to get the zipper down, re-zip, and were prepared with safety pins just in case it split again during the second line! They took full care of venue clean up at the end of the night (I thought nothing about it) and all of our personal items and dinners were back in the room when we finally made it back to the hotel! I could go on and on... Thank you so much for everything! Your stress free and always smiling attitudes really made our day the best it could be! Highly recommend for month of planning to make sure your day runs smoothly, you can enjoy every moment and be stress free!!

Fantastic experience: Jamie and Kerrie were like family or best friends taking care of us on our daughter’s wedding day. I don’t want to imagine what the day would have been without them. They were always one step ahead of what needed to be done. They were top notch.

None of us realized we forgot to take a "mom fixing her veil" shot.Thankfully the GIB caught it, and we got the shot at the reception. I couldn't be happier with this moment now captured forever. Fantastic experience: We hired GIB for the day-of planning and I would not have been able to enjoy the wedding as much as I did without them. Jamie & Kerrie are such a dynamic duo. It is impossible to not like them and more than anything else, to just TRUST them. Weddings are stressful so you want a vendor who can balance being friendly and warm while behind the scenes executing flawless performance, which is what they did. I tend to ask a lot of questions which can annoy people but GIB never made me feel like I was imposing. They walked me through so many nuances of the wedding weekend, and I really credit them for the event going so well. I was running all over the place dancing and visiting with folks during the wedding but I knew they were always in the background monitoring everything. When little "oops" came up (like the groom forgetting cufflinks), they knew what to do and never let on to me that anything went wrong. Our wedding was a little unique because we had a Buddhist altar with 4 monks (that was new for them and our venue), I had to have 3 dress changes, and even had my sisters involved in some of the outfit changes. I could sense hesitation with other folks but not with GIB. THEY MAKE IT WORK. I wholly recommend this team and am eternally grateful for all they did to make our wedding special.

Fantastic experience: Wow! These girls are beyond amazing! You can tell these ladies pour their heart and souls into every detail ! Things that I would have never thought of they already took care of! From sewing dresses to assembling and decorating my cake(the list could go on and on but seriously there are not any problems these girls didn't slay). If I had one doubt or concern these girls did not hesitated handling up or dealing with vendors until I was smiling ! They not only decorated the reception to perfection but also the ceremony and made the entire night flow effortlessly! They completely spoiled us and the night was more than I had ever dreamed of!! If you are thinking about hiring someone look no further!! Thank you Kerrie and Jamie for blessing us !
