Fantastic experience: 10 out of 5 stars for Unique Weddings!!!!! We booked with them at the very beginning of our wedding planning journey after interviewing a few wedding planners. We instantly knew Emily and Brittani were the ones! We worked with both of them throughout the process, and Brittani was absolutely amazing as she attended the food tasting with us and helped us every step of the way. She communicated very well throughout the year long process, gave recommendations, and helped guide us when we didn't know which way to go. We met with her a few days before the wedding and went through every detail, and she took it from there! On the day of, my groom and I did not have to do any work and we just got to enjoy everything! She made a detailed schedule for us, but we didn't feel rushed at all. She made it fun and relaxed while ensuring us that everything was handled. Amy and Mandy also helped us on the day of. They both made the day seemless. Amy was with me all day and was absolutely AMAZING and made sure I had everything I needed. They brought everything back up to our room at the end of the night and SERIOUSLY went above and beyond to make us feel special on our big day. HIGHLY recommend this team!!!!

Fantastic experience: Brittani was fantastic! She took so much pressure off my shoulders. She was very observant of my facial expressions when discussing florals, and advocated for me when I wasn’t bold enough to speak up about what I wanted. She reassured me consistently that everything was going to work out. She made our wedding planning process go so smoothly, and day of she was on TOP of everything. She is extremely efficient and reliable, and she helped make our wedding absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Unique Weddings enough! Brittani was so amazing to work with. She helped relieve so much stress not only on the day of our wedding but also throughout the entire planning process. She had so many great vendor recommendations and helped handle all the logistics of coordinating timelines with the vendors so it was one less thing we had to take care of. She was on top of everything day of and I never had to question or worry about anything. She truly went above and beyond. She even went out and got me superglue when my earring broke right before our first look! Her and her team were so helpful making sure our wedding party of 18 people was in the right place at the right time. Fantastic experience: Brittani took so much stress off of us as our wedding planner and the wedding events were all beautiful and fun. Many guests said it was the best wedding they'd ever attended and Brittani was a huge help in making our dream a reality. On the wedding day itself, it was such a relief knowing all the details were handled by Brittani and Jen and my family and I didn't have to worry about anything. We were able to just enjoy ourselves without concern about logistics, schedules, etc. During the planning process, she always responded promptly and was immensely helpful in liaising with vendors. Overall, I am incredibly thankful for Brittani and cannot imagine how much more difficult pulling off this wedding would've been without her.

Fantastic experience: Planning our wedding remotely, the #1 best decision we made was hiring Unique Weddings. Brittani knows the best vendors to use, she’s quick yet thorough, and like the back of her hand she knows what planning decisions need to be made and when. Brittani’s ability to handle multiple clients seamlessly, her confidence and reassurance, and the care she showed us made planning a destination wedding actually enjoyable! Day of, while Brittani was coordinating details at venues, Michelle arrived at the bridesmaid’s Airbnb to usher the girls to the right location. I won’t forget the direction and comfort she gave when the bridesmaids had left and I was incredibly nervous leading up to the first look. There are countless small gestures that we are thankful for. We had a bridal party of 18 and Unique was able to confidently direct the chaos. They magically shifted our belongings (cards, guestbook, vow books, etc.) from the ceremony to the reception and back to our Airbnb without any interruption. They helped me scrape gum off my shoes before the first dance, so it didn’t get caught on the back of my dress. Brittani literally stood in front of a pothole during the parade to direct the guests from not tripping. We are so incredibly grateful for Unique Weddings. Fantastic experience: Michele and her team helped me plan a wedding about an hour away from New Orleans at a private home... from scratch! While it was a meaningful location for my husband and I, it meant we needed to transport over 350 people from the city to the church to the reception and back to the city to multiple destinations. Planning from scratch meant that the tent, food, tables, restrooms, running water, and even the electricity needed to be planned meticulously. Needless to say, the day went seamlessly! Unique Weddings allowed my husband and I to enjoy the day and took all of the stress of what could have been away. Our wedding was perfect for us and we owe so much thanks to Unique Weddings!

Fantastic experience: Michelle and her team are amazing! She made our entire wedding stress free! She went above and beyond to make sure all of the details were taken care of. Her communication is great. She handled all of the coordination with all of the vendors and the entire day went seamlessly. Fantastic experience: Brittani was my wedding planner and the event was better than I could have ever dreamed it. I was extremely intimidated by the entire wedding planning process, and Brittani was incredibly accommodating and comforting during this process. She adjusted to my schedule and truly helped me navigate this process. I was inspired by a few images and ideas, and Brittani helped me transform that into the most magical evening. She thought of everything and every back up plan. I wanted a wedding unlike any other I had ever been to and she ABSOLUTELY delivered on this!!! My husband, guests, family and I were so impressed by the event. Brittani was very transparent about costs and cost of vendors. She really did everything she could to pick the right vendors for me and my needs as well as simplify the choices. I am so grateful Brittani was by my side planning this wedding.

Fantastic experience: After getting engaged I had no idea how to start the whole process of having a wedding. I had heard amazing things about Brittani and Michelle so I put my trust in them 1000%. They listened to every request I had (including my mom’s request lol) and made our vision come to life. I can’t say enough great things...not only did they make our vision come alive they we EXTREMELY attentive on the day. I had no issues or anything to worry about because they handled everything! The absolute BEST wedding planners to work with!

Negative experience: THE WORST WEDDING PLANNER EVER!!! Do not book with them!! I was affected by Covid-19 and was unsure on when to reschedule. My family lives in Honduras and Nicaragua and are not able to come right now and probably for the entire year. There are several unknowns right now. ALL she wanted was to get paid right then and there. She offered and did absolutely NOTHING for our 25 person wedding. We had such amazing vendors being so accommodating except for HER!! The WORST!! She claims to have worked on my wedding for 6 hours bc I was interested in using their other company New Orleans Candlelight. These two companies are SEPARATE! Not ONE COMPANY. And the fact that I got a design proposal should not influence anything about the wedding planning services she allegedly provided. Any of the other florists and candle vendors weren’t charging me anything for giving me an estimate and a design proposal. RUN FROM THEM!! Once we had everything figured out BY OURSELVES bc she just wanted to get paid, she then wanted in on the wedding. For what exactly? To claim you did something on the day of the wedding? Mind you - her contract was mainly for DAY OF WEDDING SERVICES. She provided absolutely no help in our 25 person wedding we wanted to have bc we wanted to get married! I let all my vendors know that I worked with how awful these people are!! Trust me I feel for the wedding industry in Nola I feel for Nola - my mom is a HCW fighting on the frontlines at Ocshner right now. I think though everyone right now is going through difficult times - friends of ours have been laid off in Houston and our companies are having lay offs. Instead of working with us through this very difficult time, she just wanted to get paid in full and be done with us. Not willing to work with us like every other vendor in Nola. Charging us for responding to emails - does this include the emails that I had to numerous times follow up with her too? RUN AWAY FROM THEM!!!!

Fantastic experience: Michele and her team at Unique Weddings in New Orleans made my wedding day even better than I could even have imagined. When my now husband and I decided to get married in New Orleans (we live in Los Angeles) I knew I had to find a wedding planner to help me. Michele was extremely helpful, straight forward, and informative from our first phone call. I relied on her expertise for everything from picking the ceremony venue to the florist to my makeup artist. All of her vendors were top notch, in our budget, and delivered beyond my expectations. Tears came to my eyes when I walked into the dining room at Muriel's and saw the amazing job she did along with our florist and New Orleans Candlelight Events did in decorating the room. It was beyond stunning. We had three musical acts for our wedding: ceremony musicians, second line band, and reception band and each one made the night a spectacular party to be remembered. I have several family members who are in the restaurant business in New York and they told me it was the best wedding they had ever attended. A few of our guests even told us it was the best party they had ever been to! The wedding day events ran incredibly smoothly. Michele and her team kept everything and everyone moving and on schedule while being incredibly kind and friendly. Hiring Michele at Unique Weddings in New Orleans to be our wedding planner was one of the best decisions I have made, next to saying yes to my husband's proposal!

Fantastic experience: Perfection in every aspect: advise, suggestions for vendors, food selections, bands, you name it Michelle and Brittany helped us to achieve the perfect wedding and enjoy every moment of it without worrying about a thing. We highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough good things about Michelle! I have been a bridesmaid several times and have never seen a coordinator this organized. She and her team are direct, prompt, and always remain calm--even in a crisis. She scrubbed a red wine stain out of my dress and fought with our band when they refused to play for the amount of time we had paid in advance for. She was truly our guardian angel the whole weekend and made everything run so smoothly. We couldn't have been happier with our decision to use Unique Weddings!

We are currently located in Los Angeles, so finding a reliable wedding planner in New Orleans was very important to me. Fantastic experience: Written by my wife Michele and I also share the same comments on an amazing experience with Unique Weddings --- My new husband and I worked with Michele Caswell-Adams of Unique Weddings in New Orleans for our New Orleans destination wedding. As you can imagine, it was nerve wracking to not be physically present for all of the decisions that were needed to plan our wedding. We did actually have an onsite visit of the venues and meet with Michele and the local vendors involved with our event - one time. Michele did make this meeting happen as seamlessly as possible. However, it was just one face to face meeting. Due to her obvious skill and extensive knowledge in regard to planning these events in addition to her making herself available for regular and comprehensive conference calls as our date approached, our nervousness about not being right in the middle of things was assuaged. She walked us through all the facets of the wedding planning process - step by step. BUT... when we were within a week or so of our date.... that is when I totally felt Michele's expertise in full force. She and her team where on top of EVERYTHING. We were in constant communication with Michele where she would give us all necessary information and updates. On the day of, nothing was left to chance. Michele and her team covered all bases. I personally experienced her A+ rating service when on the morning of my wedding, Michele came to my rescue way above and beyond. That very morning, I had just found out that a very personal item needed for the event that was supposed to have been shipped to the hotel where I was staying had instead been shipped to an incorrect New Orleans address. I was in a panic as I needed this item for the wedding. Calm as can be, Michele offered to make a special trip to recover this personal item and had one of her staff cover for her at the venue where the design plans were being implemented. Miracle of miracles, she found the package and was able to deliver it intact to me!! I was beyond grateful! This is the type of attention we got from her whole team on our day. Michele and her team get without reservation a 5-star rating for their work in making our wedding the success that it was. I would give a higher rating if that was possible. Oh, and I should mention that she wonderfully executed of my ideas of the wedding decor/theme way above my expectations. So many of my guests said to me that this was by far the best and most beautiful wedding they had ever attended. That praise goes squarely to Michele Caswell-Adams!

Fantastic experience: We can honestly say that, without Brittani Adams-Perret and her outstanding team at Unique Weddings, our destination wedding in New Orleans would not have been close to as beautiful, fun, organized, special or distinct as it was. In short, this team makes MAGIC, people! Brittani is the ultimate professional, providing guidance and advice from her deep level of experience in the industry and her lifelong familiarity with the local area. She brings calm and compassion to what could otherwise have been difficult to navigate situations (weather scares, last minute guest changes, family dynamics), essential for an out-of-town and sometimes anxious bride. She is supremely organized, timely and responsive, taking advantage of technology and her own flexibility to ensure communication is as convenient as possible. She is also an outstanding creative, designing layout, logistics and decor solutions to fit and exceed whatever initial vision you might have had. Most importantly, we felt cared for, listened to and prioritized as a couple, from our first conversation with Brittani through the end of our wedding night, despite the thousands of details she and her team were handling in the background simultaneously. Our non-traditional wedding in the French Quarter was filled with love, live music, food, parading, dancing and laughter with a decidedly New Orleans spirit and flair and our diverse group of guests from all over the world and all walks of life continue to ask when we’ll get married again! So much of that is due to Brittani, the Unique Weddings team, and Brittani’s design arm, New Orleans Candlelight & Decor, who are all pros at making events like our wedding truly unforgettable.

Fantastic experience: Unique Weddings in New Orleans could not have done a better job on my wedding !!! They were contracted to do our decorations as well as the small level planning/wedding day coordinator package. They were well worth the money ! I was beyond impressed at their attention to detail as well as how hands on Brittani was. I was an extremely hands on Bride that needed to know and plan everything and Brittani was patient with me she answered every question promptly. It’s like she could read my mind. I had very specific details to how I wanted things – such as my groomsmen having NOTHING in their suit pockets when they walked down the isle. Brittani stood at the door of their party bus with a bag and made sure they emptied their pockets – while I know to most people that seemed like a ridiculous request – Brittani didn’t ask twice she made sure it was done that way I was happy. My jumpsuit strap popped well into my reception and before I knew it Brittani and her amazing assistant was reattaching it – They were never far behind me or the groom. They moved quickly and efficiently – I could not have made a better decision to hire them and I will be forever grateful for their hard work!!!! As for my decorations -- ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!! There is not much more I can say about them. When I first started deciding what we wanted I was completely lost – I knew my colors and what I liked but I was having a hard time putting it into words. Brittani went over pintrest ideas with me to formulate what I was trying to say – I cannot lie I was completely nervous. We came up with the word Vintage New Orleans to sum up what I thought we wanted. Day of the wedding I was so nervous because I honestly wasn’t sure what those words meant or at least if they translated to what I really saw in my head. I was beyond happy when I walked into our reception and saw my vision in real life. I could not have done it without Brittani !!!!

Fantastic experience: There are not enough great things to say about Michele and her team! She was truly there with me every step of the way. The day of I was stress free because I knew her entire team had everything under control. When I walked in I was blown away about how perfect everything looked. Even my Bridesmaids and Mom loved all the lighting, candles, and decor that Michele Took over. I would hire Unique Weddings for any event we have in the future! Simply put they will make your day stress free, perfect, and they are a joy to work with.

Fantastic experience: We LOVED working with Brittani, she is amazing! We were planning our wedding from out-of-state and could not have done it without Brittani. She was so responsive and helpful throughout the planning process and always gave advice with our vision/best interests in mind. And then on the actual wedding day – she was incredible. My husband and I still marvel at how smoothly everything went, from the décor to all the vendors (all of whom Brittani recommended!) to the flow of the whole night – it exceeded our expectations and we could not have asked for a more perfect wedding. Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough about how incredible Michele and Brittani are. I worked with Michele for my wedding in December 2017, and she handled absolutely everything professionally and promptly. She is SO easy to work with and really takes the time to hear what you want for your special day. We had incredible vendors that truly brought our vision to life, which Michele took the time to make sure she understood and executed to a T. When hiccups arrived along the way, Michele handled everything to make sure all we needed to worry about was having the best day we possibly could. The actual wedding day was a breeze thanks to this incredible team, and it was SO fun!! I have people telling me our wedding was the most fun one they have been to, and I owe all of that to Michele. I was on the fence about hiring a planner, but trust me, Michele is 100% worth it.

Fantastic experience: I would have been lost without Brittani's help for my Oct 2017 destination wedding. She helped me find vendors for my makeup, flowers, candles, cake , and photographer. All of her recommendations were top notch and professional. Unique Wedding's sister company handled my candles and turned my evening courtyard wedding into something out of a fairy tale. When a hurricane threatened the weekend, she was by my side assuring me all would work out. I can not recommend their services enough. They know their business. They will make recommendations for things you haven't even thought of and you can rest assured that come the day of your wedding your focus will only need to be on your fiancée, family and friends. Everything else will be taken care of.

Fantastic experience: Our one year anniversary is coming up this weekend, and people are still talking about our wedding. So many guests continue to cite it as the best wedding they've ever been to - including married people! Absolutely none of that would have been possible without Brittani. From her organizational skills, to her stellar vendor recommendations/ connections, to her absolute nailing of our vision, everything was exactly as we'd hoped, only better. There were so many small details that people kept complimenting, and while each of them was part of the overall look and feel we wanted, Brittani was the one to actually find the perfect ways to make each of those things happen. Meanwhile, behind the scenes, she was so on top of everything. At one point I was about to change into my reception dress with a pretty limited time window, when I realized I'd left a key undergarment in the hotel. She had her assistant go to my hotel room, find the item, and somehow get it to me in time. When guests had to cancel last-minute and when our chair order couldn't be completed the morning of the wedding, she handled day-of rearrangements so that everything still felt comfortable and intentional. She mediated family disagreements, put together the best gift bags, made sure we were scheduling each vendor within the right time frame, etc. etc. etc. One of the best things about working with her was she interacted with us like an old friend, which made vendor meetings feel fun and never stressful. People say your wedding day goes by in a flash, you don't get to eat at your own wedding, etc., but we were able to enjoy every moment, eat more than enough, interact with all of our people, etc. because Brittani kept everything running so smoothly and on such an efficient schedule. I'm sure I'm forgetting plenty of specific ways she was amazing, but I'll wrap it up by just saying she was the perfect planner we'd hoped for and delivered the perfect wedding that exceeded all of our hopes.

Fantastic experience: Michele is awesome! I used her as a "month" of planner - although she was there along the whole process of planning and was able to meet and give advice. Our wedding was last weekend and it went beautifully, even when weather caused us to change our ceremony venue 2 days prior! Michele was able to give me multiple options for back up plans and we were beyond pleased with our new location. She is on the ball, always on top of things, is very well versed with vendors, the city, and how NOLA weddings are supposed to go down :) Pick her!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I got married in May of 2016 and Unique weddings went above and beyond for us. I had a very specific vision and Brittani Adams (Now Brittani Perret) could not have done a better job at a) working hard to make my vision happen and b) understanding what I needed/wanted before I even did (and I'm very decisive, so that's saying something). Our day was absolutely GORGEOUS and none of it could've happened without Unique Weddings. If you're fenced about hiring a planner, don't be- you should do it if you can find room in your budget...I can't emphasize enough just how much stress it alleviates. If you're fenced about who to use, don't be! Hire unique weddings...not only will they make your day beautiful in a way that's perfect for you and your spouse to be, they'll also make you feel like more than a client. They're truly good people who do a truly wonderful job at planning weddings!

Fantastic experience: I was proposed to in Europe. Yes, it was the most amazing and surprised proposal with family and friends . However, right after the engagement, the first thought in your mind: wedding planning! The only type of communication I had with the USA was my computer. So, my mom and I decided to get online and start googling wedding planners in New Orleans. We knew some of our friends had, in the past, used different wedding planners for their weddings but we had no-one particular in mind. After doing our research, we decided to go with Unique Weddings in New Orleans. Their website appealed best to us, but little did we know just how APPEALABLE they were throughout our wedding planning process. Every meeting we had with Unique Weddings (Brittani in particular) was professional. Brittani handled all matters with my mom and I, and would even attend meetings with us as we scoped out vendors. In fact, she recommended many different vendors who we eventually went with (and looking back, were the best in the City!) Most people have a stressful time planning their wedding from start until finish. My mom and I had absolutely NO stress. With the constant help and support from Unique Weddings, we are ready to do it all over again! Their services were outstanding, and were there for us no matter the time or day. Every girl envisions their wedding a certain way, even dreams about it. The work and effort that Unique Weddings put forth for my wedding, in addition to all of our vendors, surpassed any of my wildest dreams. It was the best night of my life, with a huge thanks to Brittani and her team. All of the events that took place from 8am until 2am were completely organized by Unique Weddings. Thus, I was able to sit back and relax, and enjoy every single minute of my wedding day/night – which is how it should be. Pictures, hair/ makeup, buses, getting to and from the church, the reception, every single thing was organized by Unique Weddings. And it was absolutely perfect. Brittani and her team also constantly checked on my husband and I throughout our reception, to make sure we had food/drinks, or anything else we wanted....and with the help of them, we had EVERYthing we could have wanted. There were some things that Brittani did not have to do, but that she did at the convenience of my mom and I. Brittani, thank you for making what most people would want to be the best day of their life, the BEST DAY OF MY LIFE. Your hard-work and dedication throughout the constant 11 months of planning means more to me than you will ever know. Your professionalism, thoroughness, and personality helped make it the best experience it could have been. If any of you “bride to be’s” are hesitating on who to choose as a wedding planner, hesitate no more. Choose Unique Weddings so that you are guaranteed a stress-free planning period, and a stress-free wedding day. Leave the organization up to them, that is what they are there for- and they excel at that! If you’re a bride not from New Orleans, still choose them. Their southern charm and friendliness helps make the process so much easier (and more fun)!! They are truly there to make sure you are 100% happy with every decision that is made. Fantastic experience: I've had the pleasure of working with UWINOLA to develop stories for their amazing brides. Obviously I'm a little biased as a marketer, but watching them plan and design my sister's upcoming wedding has been MAGICAL.
