As a family member helping coordinate my loved one’s wedding, I had a front-row seat to the whirlwind that is wedding day chaos, and let me just say, Michelle was extraordinary under pressure. She handled everything with such grace. From the very start, she was calm, kind, and completely open to our ideas, never once pushing an agenda but instead working with us to bring the couple’s vision to life. Even more impressive, she did all of this while respecting the couple’s budget, stretching every dollar without sacrificing beauty or experience. But what truly sets Michelle apart is her grace under pressure. On the morning of the wedding, our florist ran hours late, with the ceremony site over an hour away and no flowers in sight. Michelle stayed composed, kept the bride blissfully unaware, and somehow still managed to have everything set up beautifully in time. When the fresh flowers finally arrived and were hung on the mirrored chuppah, the water began dripping everywhere. Michelle saw the problem, grabbed what she needed, and fixed it on the spot. Then came a string of surprises: • Tables for the food display were forgotten by the vendor, Michelle made a call and got them delivered just in time. • Our pipe and drape tunnel blew over just minutes before guests were scheduled to walk through, Michelle handled it quickly, securing everything so it looked perfect. • My electric car died and blocked the venue exit she coordinated a towing service. • The champagne wasn’t glatt kosher, Michelle jumped into action and arranged an emergency delivery. And I know there were likely dozens more fires she put out that we’ll never even know about because she handled it all so discreetly and professionally. The most amazing part? The bride had no idea. She laughed, danced, soaked in every moment, and stayed completely present because Michelle made sure the stress never ever touched her. She is so professional, so on top of things and has such an elevated approach on how she does her work. Her design style and taste is just top notch. She caught so many things I would have missed and was incredibly detailed throughout the entire process. Not only that, she was so sweet and easy to work with. Fantastic experience: I have been in the DJ business for close to 20 years and have worked with Michelle Sheppard on multiple events. I typically dread to hear that my clients have booked a coordinator but when I hear it's Michelle, I thank them for choosing the best. Michelle works WITH vendors to make sure we have everything we need in advance and goes above and beyond on the actual event day. On one occasion, Michelle and her assistant, Lily, noticed my water had finished and brought me a new glass! I'm a vendor not a guest!! Throughout the event, I would see Michelle and Lily RUN to what ever needed attention and dedicated every last second to the smallest detail. Coordinators I've worked with tend to get things done early so that they can leave as soon as possible, this is not the case with Michelle and her team. At the end of the night you'll find Michelle and her team moving all of the centerpieces out to the lobby so that guest will take them, pushing the boxes of unused liquor and decor, and making sure guests don't leave anything behind. Us DJs tend to be the last vendor out, but not when Michelle is the planner. She is the first one to arrive and the last to leave. I would recommend Michelle Sheppard Events to anyone that is looking for a top notch planner. I think so highly of her that I recommended her to coordinate my brother in laws wedding earlier this year. My (now) husband and I are both VERY organized and even have a light background in event planning and programming from past experiences. Even with these things going for us, we could not have pulled off the perfect wedding without Michelle and her team. Here are some of the ways Michelle truly shines: 1) Michelle has a wealth of knowledge around the wedding industry and wedding planning We truly appreciated Michelle's ability to work with the ideas we had for our day and quickly pivot us in the right direction if she thought there was a clear better choice. For example, Michelle was assertive about her recommendation for a white dance floor and while that would end up costing us slightly more, she knew this would make a world of difference and was worth making a case for. We're glad we trusted her as this recommendation really completed the elegant look of our ballroom. 2) Michelle and her team are extremely organized and will help you execute seamlessly Through Michelle's meticulous documentation and prep, my husband and I were surprised to have no worries the day of our event. Leading up to the wedding, we were always in the know and had clear action items for us to take care of ahead of our next milestone. 3) Michelle and her team will make you feel like the most important couple in the whole world on your wedding day We knew having a wedding planner would make our lives easier, but we didn't expect such a stress-free wedding as a result. Michelle and her kind and attentive staff are on top of everything - ensuring the bride and groom are fed and always supplied with a drink in hand, guests are having a wonderful time, and vendors are all operating on the same page. From saving some snacks and drinks ahead of the reception, to the thoughtful check in texts throughout the day, we truly felt that we had a team supporting us and taking care of all the logistics, so we could focus entirely on celebrating with our friends and family. We are forever grateful to Michelle and her team for helping us live out our perfect wedding :)

She was so organized and played a huge part in making our big day run smoothly. She went out her her way to make sure the day was what WE wanted. She was a huge help in the final weeks coordinating with our vendors, making sure the final touches were taken care of and that everyone one was on the same page. She is so sweet, genuine, and on top of everything. Both her and her team were very professional and beyond helpful. Fantastic experience: Michelle and her team are GOLD! I had the pleasure to DJ Valerie & Ryan Schick Wedding beside them at South Park Center in Downtown LA. Michelle and her team managed so much between the ceremony location at USC Village and the reception in DTLA. It was nothing simple to say the least. There was so much fun packed into ceremony and reception. The team was well prepared to receive us. By the way, Michelle's timeline was top notch. It was clear what I was looking at by the divider lines in her timeline. What that means is that many hours went into putting it together guaranteeing a close to perfect day. I say that because curve balls do come at us and they were prepared with experience to knock it out of the pack. I felt so comfortable with Michelle and her team because I knew I was with professionals. It take a pro to know a pro. Michelle and her team were perfect from first introduction email to goodnight high five. Epic team!

Fantastic experience: We were referred to Michelle by the venue we choose in Malibu. From the very first phone call it was clear she was kind, professional, and clearly knew her stuff. We only had a couple of months for all of our planning and Michelle was the one that really made it happen. She immediately gave us a set of tools, timelines, and vendor recommendations that made us feel at ease and in control. She was also very patient with us during all the decision making and gave us useful tips on picking out our rentals to help us realize our overall vision. As it came closer to the date, she handled all the little tweaks and changes with grace and relieved a lot of our stress! On the day of the wedding, she and her assistant took care of all the vendors including set up and break down - I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I don't even know where to begin with Michelle. This woman was an absolute DREAM to work with. In the most stressful moments, Michelle just exudes calmness and always found a way to settle my nerves. On top of having the personality of an angel, she is so on top of literally EVERYTHING. There are so many little details that are put into a wedding and Michelle just always seems to be 10 steps ahead. She also planned my entire bridal shower and it was the best decision I could have made. If you're looking for a planner, seriously don't even think twice about booking Michelle. You absolutely will not regret it, and this is coming from a bride who had to deal with 3 different wedding dates due to Covid.

Fantastic experience: A million thanks is not enough to express how grateful I am for Michelle. I don't know where to start....from day one when I chose to have Michelle as my planner, I knew I was making the best decision. From the start, her and I clicked back in 2019. During the pandemic when we had to push our wedding date, not once, or twice, but three times, Michelle was not only there as emotional support (as we all know it was a hard time and still is), but she was so organized, patient and professional. Making sure all my vendors knew about the date change and all. She had to go through this 3x and I'm forever grateful that she was so organized and buttoned up and professional. Michelle, was like my angel to me through and through, but especially the last week. She even went as far as helping other vendors out when she did not have to nor was it her job, but Michelle is simply different. To her, it was to make sure that I was not stressed out with things I didn't need to stress out with. Knowing this, I knew I had nothing to worry about. During my wedding, she made sure everything was done right, she followed the timeline perfectly and on top of it all, she made sure my husband and I were happy. If I were to redo it again, I would choose Michelle over and over again. Oh, and she's like family to me now. That's how much not only I lover her, but my husband and my family! P.S. I had a very big Armenian wedding and for her to be able to deal with all that she did, it's pretty amazing because she is AMAZING!

Fantastic experience: Michelle was a referral from our DJ and I was so glad he steered us in her direction. From the start she was so wonderful and easy to work with. I booked her as a month of planner and it was as if I booked her for full time planning. The main thing I think all couples want out of their planners or any vendors is good communication. Michelle never left me hanging, I booked her only a couple months after she had a baby and being a new mom changed nothing. She had all the answers and referrals I needed. Planning a wedding during covid wasn’t easy by any means and definitely got frustrating/ emotional we ran through many problems and Michelle never failed to make me feel better about every hurdle because she wasn’t just my planner but treated me like a friend and reassured me every time I ran into any issues.
