Fantastic experience: My experience was nothing less than amazing from the moment I was introduced to Javetta. Great communication and wonderful personality. Javetta and her team created a fairytale wedding for my husband and myself. From what was created, I could tell she listened to every idea I communicated. I would give more stars if I could.

Fantastic experience: This is my 2nd time with Couture Events and once again Javetta and her Crew knocked out of the park with the decor!! The first time was my wedding and this time was my daughter’s High school graduation party. Everything was absolutely gorgeous and my daughter and happy how everything turned out. Couture Events is always very professional and Javetta was able to catch my vision. She always pays attention to the smallest detail. I will continue to use her time and time again for my event designing needs. She is one of a kind.❤️

Javette, when I shared with you my dream vision, you transformed it into something tangible, and for that, I am eternally grateful. Words cannot express my appreciation to you and your team for the dedication, care, and passion you invested to ensure my wedding was exactly as I had envisioned it to be. Choosing you to coordinate my wedding was an excellent choice I made during the planning process. It was difficult to keep from crying when I saw that what I had once envisioned had become a reality. My entire night was magical and When I speak about my wedding I can’t do it without mentioning Javette & Couture Events. I truly thank you for being an added puzzle piece of my memories that I’ll have with me forever.

Negative experience: I had a horrible experience with this vendor and hiring them is the only regret I have from my wedding weekend. Both my wedding and reception were held inside a small art gallery. We asked that the space be divided by draping with each side decorated separately. My ceremony space was supposed to have a floral arch, candlelit florals along the aisle, and large florals on white risers. The only decoration they placed in my ceremony space was the arch. There were no other decorations, absolutely nothing else. My husband saw the space before the ceremony and he was so upset. In our last conversation with the owner during our walkthrough, she said that we would be “wowed” and “blown away” when we saw the room. We couldn’t believe we walked into our ceremony area and there was just one flower. We also paid for a welcome sign that was not included. She made boutonnières for groom and groomsmen but didn’t add the pins so they couldn’t use them. I paid for acrylic name tags for my reception table. They apparently did not arrive in time, even though the owner and/or the vendor she used billed me for rush shipping. I’m not even sure how this happened when I confirmed I wanted these almost two months before my wedding and she didn’t confirm the order with the vendor until the week of my wedding. This “couture” company printed my guests names on white copy paper and placed those on my table. We could not believe it when we saw it – white copy paper with black writing cut into uneven squares. So unprofessional. The chairs for the bride and groom were broken and falling apart (I attached pictures). While my sister and brother-in-law were giving speeches I fell through the bottom of the chairs (twice). My husband had to catch me to keep me from hitting the floor. The menu cards were wrong causing a lot of confusion. It was all so awful and embarrassing. The owner and her team left and we could not get in touch with them. When they finally came back, my coordinator let her and her team know our concerns but we were too upset to talk to her that night. I did follow up with her via email to express my concerns. I was met with excuse after excuse. First, she said the space was too small for all of the decorations I wanted. We did an in-person walkthrough of the space and she did not express any concerns about the size of the space. Then she blamed it on the chairs being placed in a way that did not allow the other decorations. During the walkthrough, the venue staff informed us that their team would be available to move the chairs and tables as needed. She just decided not to decorate my ceremony space with no input from me or my coordinator. A response from her (copied directly from an email she sent me): “This was a bad judgment call of mine. If I would have known that these items were essential to your overall vision I would have never made this call. This is truly a learning experience for me.” What experienced wedding designer would think a bride’s ceremony space being decorated wasn’t “essential”? Through her many apologies, the owner has yet to make this right and has stopped responding to my attempts to resolve this. With all the issues I named above, she offered me approximately $300 as a refund, which I found insulting. I have been extremely nice about this, trying to resolve it quickly, and what I asked to be refunded (1/4 of what I paid) was very reasonable considering. She should actually return at least one half (if not all) the money I paid for nearly ruining my wedding day. I honestly can’t believe that a business would mess up this bad and not make a good faith effort to make it right. She even had the nerve to post photos from my wedding for marketing purposes (but made sure not to show the white copy paper she placed on my tables or any pictures of the ceremony space. My husband wants me to just let it go because this has made me so upset and she doesn’t seem to be interested in doing the right thing but I am at the point of considering filing a civil suit in small claims court. That is how bad my experience was.

Fantastic experience: I am new to Greenville, SC and when I got engaged I had no clue where I would find a designer. I was linked to my wedding planner through local production and from there the planner introduced me to Couture events. Upon my first interactions with Javetta, I felt certain I had found the right person to execute our vision. She was kind and open to hearing my ideas and was very helpful when my vision needed an alignment. Our wedding was amazing, Javetta and her team did an amazing job and brought our vision to life. She brought her A-game and we were thrilled to see the reveal. I would recommend Javetta and her team for any wedding as they are punctuate and honest. Thank you Couture events for such an amazing experience.

Negative experience: Very disappointed in our experience. She quickly rushed out the venue because she knew she did not deliver what we asked for. By the time the mistakes were noticed she was gone. Prior to the event she had pictures of how things were supposed to look. The bride’s bouquet was far from correct, her photo drop was supposed to be a rose background but it was cheaply designed ( she said she thought she had what she needed to perform the flower wall but didn’t. Keep in mind she charged us about $200-$300 for it) and she elevated the stage 5 steps high for the bride and groom to sit on. Why would you elevate a stage that high for a women in a wedding dress and heels to climb up stairs? ( that wasn’t what we discussed nor as pictured in the dosing plan) She placed a low sitting love seat at the top of the stage where nobody could see the bride and groom when seated. The couple barely sat at their high table due to the hassle. In addition the background draping didn’t match the wedding colors and lied on the draping company she used. The draping company provided us with a screenshot with text conversation and was very disappointed as well. When we spoke to her she gave us excuses and all she said was sorry but it was still beautiful right? Well I’ll give you $50 back. That $50 didn’t equivalent the mistakes she made and she was not sorry at all. Very disappointed and unprofessional

Fantastic experience: I cannot praise Javette enough for the absolute magic she performed on my wedding day, it was by far the most beautiful wedding I could have imagined for myself. Couture Events floral and design team were even better than I had ever envisioned, they took my ideas and created exactly what we were looking for and more. Not only were we blown away but our guest were also impressed. 3 weeks later and our guest are still talking about how stunning our wedding was!!! There truly aren’t enough words to describe how pleased I am with Couture events, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU because my experience was nothing short of amazing!!!!

Fantastic experience: I am an independent wedding planner and decorator. I partnered with Couture Events for floral decor on two recent events. WOW. WOW. Javetta and her team did an AMAZING job! I am very particular, organized and timely. I expect the same from the vendors and designers that I work with. Couture Events did not disappoint. Fantastic experience: JAVETTA IS AMAZING!! (All caps for a reason lol) The minute I sat down with her during our consultation, I was instantly confident that she would make my wedding day BEAUTIFUL....and she did just that! My guests are still talking about how beautiful and elegant my decor was. My floral arrangements looked like something out of Hollywood. Fantastic experience: Happy 50th birthday to me! Couture Events, LLC was everything I imagined and more! It was more than a birthday party. It was the Event of the year! The duo couple Mr. & Mrs. Boles were phenomenal in every way. Javetta is "My Shehero". She took all my idea's and bought them into fruition. Fantastic experience: Couture events did an amazing job with our daughter Brianna’s wedding in September. Javetta Trapp-Boles turned my daughter and wife’s vision into reality. We still get compliments today on how elegantly the wedding and reception were decorated.
