Fantastic experience: We are so lucky to have had Alexis as our wedding planner!!! Her creativity, connections in the area, kindness and guidance made our wedding planning experience so wonderful. She really made our vision come to life in the most beautiful way. She was in constant communication with us months in advance to get to know us and our vision. To see how she took a Pinterest board full of images and then worked with us to narrow down the look and feel we wanted for the day to then the day of seeing how she put it all together all while communicating with our vendors and running the timeline was true magic! We couldn’t have asked for a better more perfect wedding day all thanks to Alexis and her hard work and we are so grateful!

Fantastic experience: From the moment we met Alexis, we knew she was the one. We were immediately drawn to her creative and maximalist aesthetic. She thinks big, bold, and grand, yet somehow always keeps your vision grounded within your budget. That combination alone is rare, but Alexis takes it several steps further. No detail is too small or too specific. Case in point: I wanted a very particular broom made by an artist for our jumping the broom ceremony, and Alexis somehow tracked it down on Facebook Marketplace in a tiny town in South Carolina. That alone tells you everything you need to know about her dedication. We planned every single detail of our wedding down to the hour, and when the unexpected happened...Our wedding was rescheduled from 6 pm to 12 pm with less than 24 hours’ notice due to winter weather concerns. Alexis was ON IT! She immediately began contacting vendors, reorganizing timelines, and making sure everything still happened seamlessly. What could have been incredibly stressful felt handled because of her. There truly is no one like Alexis. She is not just a wedding planner; she becomes your advocate, your creative partner, and your friend. She cares deeply, works tirelessly, and pours her whole heart into her couples. We cannot imagine our wedding without her, and we will be forever grateful. BEEP BEEP! THANK YOU!

Fantastic experience: Working with Alexis was a LIFE SAVER. She had incredible recommendations, was always helpful and available, and was so good at listening. She was an expert in interpreting how my wife and I wanted the day to go, and I can't imagine how different my wedding would have been without her. Not only was she incredible and reliable, but every vendor we spoke to said "Oh, you're working with Alexis? That's great! Your day will be perfect and stress free." And they were right. Investing in Alexis to support us through the wedding planning and be there as an on-site coordinator the day of was absolutely worth the investment and I would HIGHLY encourage anyone planning their wedding to have her in your corner.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I hired Alexis for event management services for our wedding in 2025, and we are so glad we did. While I knew I wanted to do my own planning, I was also plenty aware that I wanted an expert by my side for the final lap, and Alexis's design eye, organization, and execution were exactly what my wedding needed to go from a heartfelt, personal evening to the stress-free day of my dreams. Alexis specifically ran the ceremony rehearsal and queued the ceremony on the day-of, helped with the floor layout for the ceremony and reception, developed gorgeous tables using my idea for centerpieces and supplementing my decor, completed a full room flip between the ceremony and reception, and honestly she did so well with everything else during the event that I'm sure I'm not even aware what all she handled (but I do remember she and her team did an amazing job cleaning up, too!). We also appreciate how she was to the point and still personable. I could tell that she truly cared about us having a great wedding.

Fantastic experience: Alexis and her team helped make our rehearsal and wedding day more beautiful and seamless than we could’ve imagined! Alexis met with us several times to learn about our wedding weekend wants and needs, and when we moved away from our wedding location, she made sure things ran smoothly without us. She gave great recommendations for a variety of vendors in the SC area, came to meetings with us, and communicated frequently with all vendors to ensure everyone was on the same page. She is creative, fun, and has a keen eye for detail which was apparent in the designs that brought our venue to life. When it unexpectedly rained before our cocktail hour, the team shifted gears to put together a beautiful space inside that did not look like a backup plan at all. I was stressed with the pre-wedding planning, but couldn’t be more pleased with how relaxed I was the day of, and I know I owe that to the ADD team!

Fantastic experience: Alexis created a wedding that was absolute magic. She asked all of the right questions during the planning process to deliver a wedding that had almost unfathomable levels of detail that took what would have been a great wedding and made it extraordinary to all who attended. Fantastic experience: I used Alexis and her teams knowledge and skill to help me coordinate my wedding - Columbia was our chosen destination, with all attendees coming from out of state, including myself and the groom. After extensive research, I knew Alexis would be the most capable, helpful, and thoughtful team to make my dreams come true. And they did just that! I could not be more thankful for her help, guidance, and assistance on EVERYTHING. It was truly an above and beyond effort that spanned well over day-of coordination, with months of communication and planning. She exceeded every expectation and made every single effort to make the day go off without a hitch. I truly believe her & her team are solely responsible for making my wedding day the best, least stressful day of my life and I could not be more thankful.

Fantastic experience: Alexis was my wedding planner, and she was amazing! She has a great eye for design. She looked at my Pinterest board and immediately said “I can make this happen if you want me too.” Of course I said yes! She coordinated with Ambient Lighting and Petal and Vine Florals and personally wrapped lamp shades (to save me money!) to create the most crazy beautiful hanging installation above my dance floor. I couldn’t have asked for more. She was also very on top of the planning process and coordinated all my vendors seamlessly. She took care of everything on the big day. If you want a beautiful wedding with less stress, book Alexis!

Fantastic experience: Deciding to plan a wedding with over 100 guests in five months seemed absolutely crazy and daunting to me, but the moment Alexis stepped into the picture and talked through the process with us, so many of my worries faded away. That assurance only grew as we continued to work together in that short amount of time. We had our wedding in September in Pittsburgh, which was out of town for where Alexis was based, but she worked with us closely and with our vendors, making sure communication and planning went smoothly. Alexis was a comforting voice and extremely knowledgeable through every step of the way, coming to Pittsburgh for the big decisions like catering, table linens, and decor. We did her partial planning services, because there were some things we wanted to handle on our own like photography and the DJ, but she made sure we were on top of all of that. Really the biggest help she provided throughout planning was her ability to help us stay organized and have clear communication between us and our vendors. She was even excellent with negotiating prices or helping us save costs wherever possible. When we were organizing our (multiple) after parties, Alexis helped us coordinate and seamlessly transition to those events from the reception. We were in the process of buying a house during this time and admits so much chaos in our lives, Alexis was our saving grace! And want to especially point out, when it came to decor, I shared some ideas of images that I liked for inspiration but Alexis took complete charge of that and the final product was better than anything I could have imagined. We completely trusted her throughout the process and she delivered whole-heartedly. I had no real idea of how I wanted the cake to look or our main table - just basic ideas - but Alexis brought it all to life. For the day of, we knew early on that Alexis would not be able to make it due to a prior work event, but she had put us in great hands with her team. Pauline did the decorations for our rehearsal dinner - which I hadn’t even given much thought to the decor and it looked absolutely amazing. The best part of it all, was that night, Alexis finished up her other assignment early and drove overnight to make it there for our wedding day. The day itself went so smoothly I didn’t have to this or worry about anything. And so many people complimented us on the wedding not just how it looked but how well everything was executed. We would not have asked for a more perfect day or experience. Anyone would be lucky to have Alexis plan their big day. We are so thankful for all she and her team did for us!

Fantastic experience: Alexis is absolutely amazing! Not only is she extremely talented at her job, she is so sweet! Hiring her as our day of coordinator for our wedding was the best decision we made. She made the day run so much more smoothly than it would have without her there and she made the space more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. She went above and beyond throughout the whole process and you can tell she truly loves what she does. Alexis really takes care of her couples and we felt so at ease on our wedding day having her there. Our families and wedding party couldn’t stop raving about how amazing she was, and neither could we. If you are on the fence about having a day of coordinator/wedding planner, you should have one, and it should be Alexis!

Fantastic experience: Alexis was great!!! She was very personable from the first phone call we had with her to see if she would be a good fit for us for our November 2022 wedding and when we hung up the phone, we both were very impressed with her and saw no reason to look elsewhere for a day of coordinator/decor specialist. She helped my wife out so much with ideas for decor but the most helpful thing she provided was making the timeline of our wedding day. This took so much stress off of my wife and I! We had so many people comment on the decoration of the reception and a huge reason for that was Alexis. And then once wedding day came, she made it run as smoothly as possible and we felt a relief not having to worry about small details. We felt like her #1 priority and it’s what sets Alexis apart from the competition. We cannot recommend her more when it comes to either a day of coordinator or decor specialist! We promise you won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: I loooved working with Alexis! She made me feel so at ease on my wedding day and truly made sure I was taken care of. She made sure my husband and I got any and all food and drinks we wanted and needed on the day-of which was HUGE! The day is so hectic and goes by so fast and it really helped to know she had everything handled. Before the wedding, if there was anything I needed, she was there for me and likely had already thought that through. So thankful for her and her team!!

Negative experience: My partner & I decided to go for the day-of coordinator since we contracted all of our vendors outside of Alexis. The utter dismay we experienced on our wedding evening coupled with the overall lack of timely communication & effort leading into that day was heart wrenching & insulting when 90% of the ideas & actual plans signed off on (via multiple emails leading up to the weekend) were no where near ready, prepared for, or delivered upon. Alexis DID follow through with elegant table displays for our reception, as well as a beautiful metal crescent moon installation w/ fabric. She also added fabric drapes to the pergola infrastructure in our ceremony space. In addition, she made sure the bridal suite was presentable following its use, & she followed through with break down of the event space after the reception. This was the extent of what Alexis followed through on & we would be remiss if we did not credit her. Now for the grievances: 1. Alexis was not readily available the week of the wedding to schedule calls freely or button up last minute issues. 2. Our personalized escort display we signed off on in emails & went over necessary requirements (gold marker which I owned, & ~100 individual eucalyptus leaves) that she could have had if she aligned with our floral vendor (who was already bringing plenty of eucalyptus) ended up being scrapped over the rehearsal dinner when she informed us of her ill-preparation. 3. The cake stand for our wedding cake vendor which we picked out from her decor collection after driving 5 hours to choose wasn’t available, given a week’s time to align their schedules. She did send us a link for the cake stand which we bought out of pocket & personally picked up. 4. The master timeline was not sent out to all necessary vendors (including our MC/DJ who personally requested it & specifically needed it). 5. Alexis & team (boyfriend & assistant) were barely present during the day-of to help keep all pieces on track & allow for management when the timeline was off. 6. Alexis didn't use the entirety of the day (11:45am-4:45pm) where she was absent as the master timeline keeper to be decking out the reception space (which we blindly gave her the benefit of the doubt of doing, because where else would she be during this time before the ceremony started?) 7. Alexis nor team bothered to ask whether or not to use the decor we signed off on, & which I personally spent $400 out of pocket to use. She left 80% of the decor (ivy garland & market lights) in their boxes & didn’t once come find me & ask my opinion or offer me her thoughts. I specifically requested she use all of it & payed extra to ship it on time so we could transform a park pavilion space w/ multiple ceiling fans into an ivy wrapped & lit up party atmosphere. She did haphazardly string 1 cluster of small disco balls & used a single 1ft strand of garland (out of 228ft) on 1 ceiling fan. The lights & ivy were suppose to be the main decor, as I opted for no dance floor lights to keep it less flashy. Thus the end result was just slightly less barren save for the fairy lights I purchased which were well represented. She was also suppose to also oversee a Coke vending machine be covered with a black drape, but instead it stood out as a sore thumb in all of our wedding dance pictures. She also didn’t decorate any of the wall behind where we cut our cake, so all you see is a cement black painted wall with a door reading “storage” on it. 8. Alexis & team didn't take the crescent moon installation to the reception space & place it behind our sweetheart table like we agreed on. 9. Alexis didn't keep the timeline on track throughout the ceremony itself & our MC/DJ had to personally leave his station twice to come us ask us clarifying questions / details about the timeline & toasts, before she then surfaced & asked the same questions I already answered. I chose 2 stars for this review because that was the amount of effort & preparation witnessed by not only myself, but multiple vendors, wedding party, our families, & many guests who stayed onsite.

Fantastic experience: We could not have done this wedding without Alexis. The fact that she has her own decor was just one of the amazing perks in working with Alexis. She kept things in perfect order the day of the wedding. The donut wall her boyfriend had constructed for our wedding was absolutely perfect. Every time I spoke to Alexis via in person or phone, afterwards I felt 100% better about the planning process. She brought my wedding inspiration to life, and it was the most romantic night for my husband and I. Thank you, Alexis for making our wedding dreams a reality!

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Alexis highly enough. Our wedding went off without a hitch thanks to her hard work and seemless coordination. She came in and gracefully ran the show the day of, which meant that I could finally relax knowing that she had everything under control. It was also amazing having such a knowledgeable resource on everything wedding. Our families looked to her for direction many times throughout the day and her word was gold. She was confident and assertive but also gentle. It was an absolute pleasure working with her and we truly couldn’t have done it without her. We hired her for day of coordination and she killed it! My only regret is not booking her for full wedding planning from the start!

Fantastic experience: Hiring Alexis was probably the BEST decision we made during our wedding planning process. We used her partial planning service for a couple of reasons. We wanted to be involved in most processes, but needed some guidance on who to contact or when to start things. Alexis has so much knowledge about this industry and has a lot of connections, so she was able to point us in the right direction on things we wanted to handle ourselves. For other things, we didn't want to deal with planning and Alexis took over for us! She is a very collaborative person. She made sure she talked to us to figure out what we wanted at our wedding, and then we felt confident in her abilities to make our dreams a reality. We trusted her creativity so much that we didn't know what most of our decor would look like on the day of, and we were absolutely astonished at how beautiful it was. Our interests were pretty different than what standard wedding decor looked like, but Alexis really nailed it down to all the tiny details. She is super versatile: able to do a more traditional, Southern wedding or something that is totally unique and out-of-the-box. Alexis is very communicative and willing to go above and beyond for her clients. We never felt nervous throughout the entire planning process. The day of, we barely thought about our vendors or anything else because she handled everything. So many people at our wedding came up to us and told us how wonderful she was. I cannot overemphasize how much I think everyone should hire Alexis to plan their wedding!

Fantastic experience: My wife and I highly recommend Alexis and her team to coordinate your wedding and other large events. She was exceptional to work with, very well organized, and kept constant communication with us and each of our vendors. Due to the pandemic, we rescheduled our May ceremony for the fall. She was instrumental in communicating with our vendors to move the date. Thanks to her support, we were able to keep all of our original vendors and did not forfeit any deposits. On the day of the rescheduled wedding date, as with all outdoor events, we were battling the weather. She regularly kept us informed of the current weather forecasts which allowed us to make the decision to hold the ceremony outside. We had waited a year-and-a-half for our wedding ceremony, and Alexis made sure that we were able to host the event we dreamed of. Thank you Alexis for your work!

Fantastic experience: Stop everything you’re doing and HIRE Alexis right now. Hiring Alexis to be our wedding coordinator was the best decision my wife and I had ever made throughout our entire wedding planning process. Alexis went above and beyond for us through every up and down moment we had. During our entire engagement, we had issues ranging from COVID issues to a change of venue 9 DAYS before our wedding and everything in between. Not to mention, actually going to bat for us against a very hostile venue owners and supporting us every step of the way. Whether it be panicked phone calls at 8am or frustration phone calls at 10:30pm, Alexis jumped every hurdle with us and continued to stay positive through it all. Without her, we most likely wouldn’t have had our dream wedding. We are so thankful to not only have worked with such an amazing, supportive, and talented individual, but also to have walked away from our wedding gaining a friend. Fantastic experience: Alexis did an absolutely outstanding job with my daughter’s wedding 7.11.2020. We had many challenges due to COVID-19 from the venue location change to guest count (several times) to layout plans. She kept up with every detail while suggesting remedies to every situation. Additionally, she comes to the table with AMAZING design gifts and talents! She took our thoughts and transformed them into absolute beauty. Thank You Alexis for Everything!!

Fantastic experience: Alexis is a simple choice for all of your wedding planning needs. She possesses all of the qualities that you want in a wedding planner, and wields them gracefully when challenged with the task. She is hard-working and dedicated, and endlessly attentive. Innovation manifests instantaneously, and she is quick to make the decisions that need to be made during the stressful day-of "speed bumps and road blocks" that are inherently inevitable. I have performed 204 events as a wedding professional (not including catering), and Alexis is as skillful as planners come. Furthermore... She was the first vendor to arrive early on the morning of the event-- and she was the last one to leave. She made sure everything was exactly as it should be before locking up. This level of dedication is just-- rare. I can't wait to work with her again.
