I am forever grateful, not only for how beautiful they made my wedding day, but how much they allowed me to sit back and truly soak up the day without worrying. From the beginning, planning with them felt like I could let go and trust they had my back and had my best interests at heart (a nearly impossible feeling to give a quintessential eldest daughter!). Fantastic experience: We were engaged in late 2018 and realized we would need help planning for an August 2020 wedding in St. Louis. Kristin was warmly recommended to us and we hit it off right away! Not only is she fun to be with, but it was clear right away that she knew her business really well and wanted to help us plan our perfect wedding. She was so excited about our quirky vision (orange and llama themes), knew all the right questions to ask, and had a list of great vendors who could make it all happen. During the following months, she fielded 100s of questions from us and always responded quickly with helpful suggestions. She helped us get all the best vendors and made sure that they knew our vision. We were all ready to go. Then 2020 rolled around and all of a sudden it became clear that our big wedding would have to be postponed. We were extremely stressed that we’d lose our vendors and take a tremendous financial hit, but Kristin acted quickly and coordinated the move to 2021. During that unprecedented year, Kristin remained extremely professional and on top of everything. Seeing her character in such circumstances made us feel all the more close to her. We became good friends with Kristin, even having regular zoom calls with her because we liked her so much! When the day finally came in 2021, Kristin made sure everything was perfect. We were completely free to enjoy our wedding day, knowing we were taken care of. We will always be grateful to her.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough amazing things about the magic that is Kristin Ashley Events. I had a long engagement filled with plenty of idea boards that Kristin miraculously helped bring to life on the day of our wedding. Looking for a planner, you want someone that is going to take every scattered thought bubble you have and make not only sense of everything, but help you to create your perfect day, whatever that looks like for you. Kristin has one of the most thoughtful and calming personalities that she shares with her bride and makes all of the hectic anxieties disappear. We were one of the lucky couples that were able to continue with our wedding plans amidst the pandemic. This decision didn’t come without constant changing circumstances, and for every problem that arose, Kristin guided us to a seamless solution. We were lucky enough to have not only Kristin on the day of, but another amazing planner from her team Liz help orchestrate the final details of our day as it was in motion and we couldn’t be more grateful for both of them! From finding missing bridesmaid dresses to ensuring all our vendors and bridal party/family were doing what they needed to be, we couldn’t have been more blessed to have both of these women taking on every stress and detail of our day to make it the smoothest and easily best days for their bride. Fantastic experience: We were married in September of 2020 and most of the planning was done during the height of the pandemic while there was so much unknown. We had to change reception venues and cut the guest list in half less than a month before the wedding and Kristin took the changes in stride and thought of EVERYTHING. She made the planning process incredibly easy and greatly reduced my stress! The weekend of the wedding we, along with our parents and wedding party, were able to enjoy every second of the festivities because Kristin and her team handled anything and everything. Anytime I’d ask Kristin a question her response was “Already taken care of.” She was always one step ahead of us and anticipated our wants and needs so we could focus on what truly mattered that day. My husband accidentally stepped on my dress right as the reception began and ripped the buttons from the bustle. I panicked thinking my long train would drag across the floor all night and I wouldn’t be able to dance. Kristin rushed over and in a few moments she had fixed my dress with safety pins and it was perfect for the remainder of the night. She was a lifesaver!! Kristin is an absolute joy to work with and now a friend for life. After such a turbulent year and fearing that our day would be overshadowed by the stressful circumstances, we are so grateful to Kristin for making the day better than we could have ever imagined.

Fantastic experience: If you are a Mother of the Bride, please read this! My two daughters were married within 17 months of each other. We decided to hire a wedding planner since we were a little overwhelmed with the timing. In the process, I learned 3 important things that MOB’s need to consider when hiring a wedding planner. 1. Do you trust the planner to make the best decisions for your daughter’s wedding? 2. What types of relationships to they have with vendors? 3. Are they on board with the couple’s vision/budget for the wedding? Kristin Ashley Events knocked it out of the park on each of the points. Every wedding will have its issues. Kristin was on top of every concern and either handled them or suggested remedies when needed. I can’t say enough about her experience in wedding planning. She’s seen and done it all. Kristin works with the top vendors in the Saint Louis area as well as other destinations. They respect and trust her experience in wedding planning. Your vendors working together as a team is so important. Kristin made sure our daughters’ wedding visions were a reality. Each wedding was distinctive. The St. Louis wedding was the best of St. Louis, and Kristin suggested lots of cool things to make a unique experience for our guests. Our destination wedding in Florida was a different challenge in that we didn’t know the vendors. She helped us select the vendors and worked side by side with the resort wedding team. The best testimonial I can give Kristin comes from our guests when they said things like “I won’t ever forget this wedding. It was the best!” Those words were music to my ears. Home base or destination wedding…. I love Kristin Ashley Events. I may adopt another daughter, so that I can work with Kristin and her team again!

Fantastic experience: Kristin is incredible. I truly did not understand the importance of a wedding planner... Now I can't imagine our wedding day/month without one. She and her team handled and coordinated everything for our Austin Texas wedding. At our meeting with her a month out she pointed out things we hadn't even thought of. The week and day of it was so nice having her deal with catering and transportation and the venue manager and the band and anything imaginable you can think of. Fantastic experience: Kristin and I were in the same sorority during our time at Purdue. Since she graduated, I have followed her successful career as a wedding planner. When I got engaged I had zero doubts who I would be asking to help me plan our destination wedding in Charleston, SC. As luck would have it, Kristin had a wedding that was rescheduled and was open for our date. Kristin is one of the most passionate and friendly people I have ever met. Not only does she thrive at her job, it is truly her calling. Throughout the planning process she is so helpful in answering all of your questions and concerns. She is proactive in planning to ensure you can really enjoy your day stress-free, and not have to be worried about all the little things. I knew I could trust Kristin and her team with anything and that alone speaks wonders. Come wedding weekend, they were there willing to assist with anything from Rehearsal dinner, to Wedding day and even the post wedding brunch. Despite some prickly weather, our wedding day was seamless thanks to KAE keeping us on track. I cannot tell you how nice it was to leave our wedding night knowing they had taken care of everything. In addition, our day ran smoothly thanks to her! Our ceremony was to take place outside, and a nasty storm rolled through, but she was able to coordinate with everyone and get things moved and dried off so the ceremony could still take place outside.
