Fantastic experience: HEY BRIDES !!!! BOOK KYLIE AT WDG IMMEDIATELY !!! :) We hired Kylie Knight with Wedding Day Girl and she was nothing short of Gods gift to Earth for our wedding!!! Kylie from day 1 was organized, calm, and was just genuinely a very kind and professional person to communicate and work with. I had interviewed several other planners/events companies prior to deciding on Wedding Day Girl, and I must say, I was immediately impressed with the level of expertise and true dedication to their craft that I experienced when speaking with Amina and Kylie. Many planners out there take percentage cuts of quite literally ANY vendor you book, or charge atrocious hourly rates to ask questions. That is NOT THE CASE with WDG. You get as many calls, emails, and recommendations you want included with all of their packages. This was SO refreshing to experience after constantly feeling “let down” or like I couldn’t afford a “good” coordinator in my search. Kylie helped us navigate the planning processes and wedding day with ease. Fantastic experience: Updating my review- (4/12/26)Cierra from Wedding Day Girl just completed her second wedding for us in less than a year. We factored the wedding date based on her availability! Adding to what I wrote last May, Cierra handled a giant curve ball this year- weather. She performed a flip at the last minute to make the wedding happen and just as beautiful inside as it would have been outside. Cierra made our planning seamless and took all of our worries away. She is definitely a fairy godmother and someone we consider family. We absolutely love her. As one of the bridesmaids said (who is getting married soon in another state)- my planner has HUGE shoes to fill. If you can't have Wedding Day girl and Cierra, think again- they are the BEST!!!! We love you so much CIERRA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (5/31/25) Cierra from Wedding Day girl is a fairy godmother! My daughter was married this weekend and Cierra executed the most wonderful day for everyone. From handling things in the background to making sure everyone was happy and had what they needed, she worked harder than anyone I have ever seen. My daughter was married in our church and the reception was offsite. Cierra basically managed two events and coordinated both for us. She made everything flawless so that the bride and groom (and her parents, family and friends) could celebrate the occasion. Having worked with Cierra the last several months, we consider her family now- she truly made everything about the process special and handled all those details you don't think about. Even when the baker dropped the cake, she worked with them to get a new cake delivered before anyone found out- she has plans and backup plans for the plans. We love you Cierra!
Fantastic experience: Kylie Knight is amazing ! From our first conversation to the final moments of the wedding day, Kylie handled my daughter’s wedding with genuine care and professionalism. Every single detail was meticulously organized and beautifully executed beyond our hopes and expectations. While weddings can be overwhelming, Kylie was able to put my daughter and myself at ease with her quick responses and confident solutions. She patiently answered allllll my questions and if she didn’t know the answers, she promptly found them for me. Fantastic experience: We worked with Wedding Day Girl for the month-of coordination package, and I can't say enough good things, especially about Ashley, our coordinator. The moment she stepped in, I felt an immediate shift. It was like all the wedding stress I’d been carrying for months just melted away. Ashley handled everything with such skill and calm that my now-husband and I actually found ourselves questioning why we hadn’t hired a full-time planner...that’s how incredible she was. On our wedding day, every detail ran seamlessly. Ashley was completely in control, and because of that, Phil and I got to simply enjoy our day without a care in the world. Our wedding venue (Laguna Gloria) is NOT an easy place to have a wedding - there is a TON of coordination required - and again, Ashley completely handled it. Fantastic experience: Kylie was the perfect choice for our January 2024 wedding in Austin!! I am not one to write reviews, but I am SO happy that we chose Wedding Day Girl and want any future brides to know where to go! I had a few phone call interviews with other companies, but I knew Wedding Day Girl was the one for me after talking to Amina and Kylie on the phone. I am the first daughter to get married, so my mom and I didn’t know where to start. We hired Kylie as our “day of coordinator”, but she was involved a whole YEAR out from the wedding. She did a lot more than I anticipated. I was able to text or email her about any questions I had throughout the process (and I had a lot!) which made feel confident in making decisions. I am typically super indecisive, but I didn’t feel that way with Kylie’s help. She helped simplify things that I thought were going to be difficult. For example, we were not able to leave signage at the venue after the wedding night. Kylie packed and stored all of our signage in her car so my parents and I could continue to enjoy the night with our family and friends, and met up with my parents the next morning. She was organized, prepared for anything, sweet, fun, and calming. I did not think I would enjoy planning a wedding as much I did and a huge part of that was because of Kylie. Fantastic experience: Hiring Amina Garrison of Wedding Day Girl was the best decision we made in planning our daughter’s wedding. Amina was always responsive to our myriad questions. Every one of the vendors that she recommended was professional, on time, and effective. However, where Amina REALLY shined was the last week before the wedding and the wedding itself. She sent constant reminders to us and our vendors; she answered text messages in minutes; she sent detailed itineraries for our big day; she had constant communication with our vendors. During the event itself, she was calm, professional, and warm. Having her there allowed me to actually be present at our daughter’s wedding, instead of worrying about every detail. At the end of the evening, she even loaded our car for us. I cannot say enough great things about Amina. I would hire her again in a heartbeat!

She was soooo helpful and supportive leading up to the event, remembered everything that we forgot, and set up all our flowers/decor elements beautifully on the day of. Fantastic experience: We decided to get a wedding coordinator later in the wedding planning process and it was the best decision! Rhianna was our coordinator and did a wonderful job putting us at ease in the weeks leading up to our wedding day. She was so organized, responsive, and proactive even when we had to fully switch to our rain plan due to weather in the days before. I put my trust in her skills and expertise and she did not disappoint! We had the best day and can't recommend Wedding Day Girl enough!

Fantastic experience: Kylie Knight was our lead coordinator, and I've never met a person so organized but so calm in my life. My fiancé and I were certainly not the best clients - both scatterbrained but also wanting things a very specific way - and Kylie took it all in stride. We still aren't sure how she had time to decorate our ceremony and reception areas while still keeping us company - not only did she get everything set up, she also reserved time for spontaneous requests the day of! First, the portal provided by Wedding Day Girl is wonderful and easy to use - USE IT!!! Because we input something incorrectly, there was a mix up with one of the vendors - but if Kylie had handled it, we know that there never would have been an issue. Kylie also met with us several times the months leading up to our wedding (including spontaneous phone calls) and helped SO much in creating our vision. The night before our wedding, she picked up all decor and only needed to listen to my instructions ONCE for each of the dozens of items to know exactly how we wanted them. The day of, she was always asking if we needed anything and also receptive to our requests and amazing at communicating with our guests. She met with all of the vendors, and also took care of everything that needed to be cleaned up so we didn't have to worry about it at the end of the night. Furthermore, for decorations that ended up not working (i.e., balloons not blowing up, etc.), Kylie was able to creatively arrange and fix up things in ways so one would never know anything was amiss. Days after our wedding, even though we were upset with one of the vendors (our fault btw) Kylie was so kind, sympathetic, and patient with my concerns even AFTER her job was over. I couldn't ask for a better planner. If I could have done anything different, it would let her do more of the stuff we decided to take on ourselves lol. Book Wedding Day Girl!!!
Fantastic experience: My wedding day was truly the best day of my life. Everyone on my team of vendors was amazing, but Amina was actually indispensable. We first contacted Amina about 6 months prior to the wedding for timeline and coordination planning. Her responsiveness and follow through from the initial contact made us feel secure, and as the process unfolded she demonstrated her reliability time and time again. My mom and I were pretty hands on with the entire planning process, but Amina was an outstanding resource and sounding board for our ideas; and ultimately, that translated beautifully as she was able to make small adjustments and corrections necessary to accommodate our plan early in the process. During our meetings with Amina, we knew that we could count on her to take organized notes, answer questions, and give us honest feedback on every part of the wedding. A careful listener, Amina knows when to speak up, what questions to ask, and when to ask them so that things stay on track. Her uncanny ability to dissect and decode every communication-- whether email, text, or phone call--and extract all the key information is a gift that sets her apart. During the planning journey, communications grew a bit chaotic when my "bridal vision" became somewhat clouded by all the "extras" and ideas that were surfacing from social media, friends, other brides, etc. Amina was so nice and patient and was able to stay laser focused and fine tune the details that would end up making a difference on the big day--all while respecting the budget that we had set together. As we got closer and closer to the wedding, my mom and I could rest assured that Amina was armed with all she needed to execute the perfect wedding. Amina is polite and honest. She has excellent taste. Her knowledge and expertise is something that you can only gain through years of experience, but beyond that, she is so sweet and kind. That is something that every bride, family, and vendor team absolutely needs to plan and execute (flawlessly!) a wedding. Hire Amina & trust the process, because the process is in excellent hands.

Fantastic experience: No matter how organized and diligent you think you are, planning a wedding is a challenge like unlike any other. My husband and I both have PhDs and thought, “We can do this!” Nope, we couldn’t. At least, not without Amina and the Wedding Day Girl Team’s help. Right from the start, Amina inspired confidence in us. We interviewed three other wedding day-of coordinators, and Amina was the only one who gave us a very clear vision of what was involved in planning a wedding from start to finish, how she would help, and what tools and tricks she could offer to help us make the best decisions. A lot of wedding coordinators will try and sell you on “fluff” (“We’ll pin the boutonnières on everyone!” “We cut the cake!” “We make sure everything arrives on time!”) that’s down very specific tasks. While all those little details are important on the day of, what separated Amina from all other coordinators was her ability to help us navigate the wedding industry right from the start. Yes, you need someone to get the details right on the day of, but you also need someone like Amina who can help you navigate the wedding industry itself. Even after just one conversation with Amina, we felt like we knew what specific tasks needed to be done and in what order, from the caterer and photographer to picking the right sized tablecloths. Amina’s professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine love for the couples she works with shines in everything she does. The wedding industry is incredibly complex and makes low-stakes choices (picking flatware) seem incredibly high stakes. Add to that the fact that many vendors think they can get away with inflating prices “because it’s your wedding,” and you have the recipe for overwhelming stress, even when you think you are ruthlessly efficient at making decisions (we thought so). Every step of the way, Amina pored over our vendor quotes and showed us where we could fine-tune things, where we needed to adjust based on our guest count, and also where the BS was :) If we had concerns about costs, Amina gave us a sense of what average costs were industry-wide, provided really fast and really specific advice about where we could cut back and put our money where it really mattered. And even though she doesn’t do design planning, she was always there if we wanted her input on whether something would look good or not. By the time we got to our 8-week timeline meeting, we really got a sense of just how much work we had done, and how much work there was still left to do. At that point, we had a firm vision of the ceremony lineup, the layout for the reception, and the party, and Amina took all of our contracts, plans, and notes and raked them with a fine-toothed comb: we had picked the wrong banquet table size (whoops!), we needed longer table cloths (double whoops), we still needed to tell our caterer about special meals, we needed to add a few extra pieces of equipment for things we didn’t know we needed, etc. etc. While this would normally have been stressful, Amina reassured us that she would have it all sorted from that point on. Also, the day before our wedding, Amina single-handedly saved us thousands of dollars on striking redundant tenting (due to a tent share contract), a major testament to her professionalism and good relations in the wedding industry. Every time we had a call or chat with Amina about something, we were hugely relieved, confident, and so excited to get married— something everyone should feel when they work with Amina and WDG! Our wedding was such a magical, joyful experience. To a large extent, all weddings are. But what most people don’t tell you is just how important it is to have someone guide you through in the months and weeks leading up to it because it takes SERIOUS WORK to create that magic and joy. We would 1000% do it again, and we wouldn’t hesitate a second to ask Amina to be our coordinator! p.s. for what it’s worth, my mom still can’t stop talking about how much she loves Amina!

I had a very general idea of the style of wedding I wanted and Amina made it come to life in the most incredible way—reading my mind at every step of the design phase and coordinating a team of vendors to make it happen. Fantastic experience: My whole family, my groom and I roundly agreed: hiring Kylie Knight was one of the best choices we made for our September wedding reception! We are usually very hands-on hosts, so we didn't really know what to expect when we hired Wedding Day Girl, but increasingly learned how worth it they were. From start to finish in our time with her, Kylie was organized, patient, flexible, communicative, good-humored, and sensitive to handling unexpected challenges - from navigating family concerns, to juggling vendors, to pinning up dance floor dress mishaps, to guiding seating arrangements, to working under pandemic restrictions, even reminding me to take a moment to breathe before my speech. She constantly and calmly checked in with me in the high-profile role of bride, and overall prioritized my whole family's enjoyment of the party and the planning process. I told her afterward that she was like our fairy godmother of the evening, somehow appearing everywhere at once to make everything flow and happen smoothly. Who knows how she (and her staff!) did that...it was just awesome. We and our guests had an absolute ball, and I am so grateful to her. Highly recommend!
Fantastic experience: We had Kylie as our Day of Coordinator and all I can say is wow. Both Kylie and her assistant Alex were amazing. She dealt with all of our vendors and kept them in line. Our bartender showed up late and she actually got us a refund from the terrible bartender company. Kylie made us feel calm on our high stress day. Her organizational skills are next level, and she was very quick to respond and help us during the planning phase of our wedding. She also made sure we had drinks in hand as well as food! I'd highly recommend Kylie to anyone!
Fantastic experience: I had Kylie as my Day Of Coordinator and let me just say how awesome she was. She did an amazing job on setting up everything in a shorter amount of time than normal at the venue and was super flexible. She managed all the curve balls at the wedding -- unexpected guests, changing time of toasts and lots of other things I am sure I didn't know because she handled them efficiently and seamlessly. So thankful my sister, Laura, found yall and encouraged me to get a day of coordinator and that it was yall :)

Fantastic experience: Kylie was an incredible day-of coordinator and went above and beyond to make our day absolutely magical! Fantastic experience: Really where do we begin? Amina was an absolute pleasure to work with and made every detail come to life in a fairy tail manner for our wedding. She was very helpful through a number of logistics before our month of services started—particularly with some confusing band contracts and venue details. Once her services officially began, we met for a venue walk through and she was on every detail. And we’re not exaggerating.. EVERY detail. Her online planning tool was a breeze to use and made getting all the wedding information together in a central location easy. We would recommend her for anyone getting married in the Austin area (or beyond) as she is a true gem. She impressed some tough critics—one of us works in the hospitality industry ourselves and there were a number of hospitality professionals, including one of our mothers, in attendance. Amina, you made our wedding the most perfect day and we truly cannot thank you enough. Trust us, you will not be disappointed with her services.
Fantastic experience: It’s hard to put down on paper how amazing Amina is! My wedding was a very small elopement with only 2 people, me and my fiancé, but Amina never made me feel small. From day one she was on top of things, she helped me find the best vendors, she helped me with my wedding design (and when I say “help” I mean she pretty much did the whole thing), she was always available to answer my questions and calm my nerves. The day of the wedding she was there for us every step of the way. She literally zipped up my dress and actually officiated the ceremony! She does that too! Oh and the ceremony was just perfect; we cried and we laughed a lot! She made sure to personalize the ceremony in the most incredible and special way. While we were taking pictures, eating cake and drinking champagne she packed all our stuff so that by the time it was time to leave the venue all our stuff was already in our car! We even had drinks ready in the car. Our wedding was literally perfect in every single way and we have Amina to thank for that!
Fantastic experience: I originally had gone into our wedding thinking I wouldn’t need a day-of-coordinator but a family member insisted I should get one. And oh how glad I am I listened to them because hiring Amina to help me with our wedding was the best decision I made and worth every dollar spent. She was so helpful, so thoughtful, and made herself available to us 24/7 even if it was just to listen to me ramble on as I processed my own thoughts and ideas, always giving advice and suggestions when needed. She took on almost everything the few weeks leading into the wedding and it made that whole month so relaxing and easy for us. Fantastic experience: I honestly can’t even begin to express how thankful I am that we hired Amina to be our wedding day coordinator! Initially, our wedding venue said that they provided a day-of-coordinator, but when it came down to it, things wouldn’t start to get worked out until two weeks before the wedding date. Fantastic experience: We were a destination wedding and used Amina as our day of coordinator. She came highly recommended from our venue. Amina is very professional, organized and knowledgeable about how to run your wedding day smoothly as well as gathering all the information needed leading up to the big day. All our vendors where given a wedding packet with of ALL the day of events/maps/set up/etc. Our Bridal party also had a timeline for the day that she sent out in advance which was extremely helpful keeping them in the know of what the plans were for the weekend. Not only were we impressed with the entire process, our vendors from out of town were as well. Her assistant was also very helpful the day of, grabbing last minute things for the bridesmaids while getting ready. Very happy with Amina & her team and would highly recommend!

As an out of town bride, Amina directed us to the best, along with her sweet personality, professional judgement, and calm nature. Fantastic experience: The day was perfect! We hired Amina for Day-Of Coordinator and it was worth every penny. She was enthusiastic about learning all aspects of our wedding and getting to know even the smallest details that were important to making our day special. She coordinated with the venue and vendors to make sure all logistics and timing of the set-up were aligned and that everyone knew our expectations. The minute by minute timeline she created for all the vendors was so meticulous and thorough, which left no room for error on our most important day! Amina arrived early on the day of our event, and worked all day alongside the vendors to ensure set up was as we discussed and that all the items I had given her prior (escort cards, table numbers, guest book, menus, photos, outdoor fans, etc.) were where they needed to go. She was there for the entire evening coordinating with the venue so that the food and beverages never stopped and that not only my husband and I, but also our parents, were cared for up until the end. There are so many moving parts to a wedding and without Amina, our evening would not have been so smooth. From getting the wedding party (AND MYSELF!) down the aisle, family photos, special dances, cake cutting, toasts, etc. My husband and I are certain that we would not be able to fit everything that we wanted to fit in without her constant awareness of time. She kept us on track so that we could take in and enjoy all of these important moments without having to think about what time it is and what’s next! This was the best! Finally, she stayed after the wedding ended with the vendors to break down everything that she had staged earlier that afternoon. All of my items were carefully boxed up and given to me the next day, including all my gifts and cards! Amina brings a unique combination of creative ideas, strong planning and organizational skills, and has excellent relationships with vendors. She is so sweet and caring and will do whatever she can to make sure your day is executed flawlessly. The event was managed with the utmost professionalism, so that my husband and I didn’t have to worry about a thing except to have the best day/night of our lives. I would recommend and hire Amina in a heartbeat!
Fantastic experience: Working with Amina of WDG was amazing!! I had planned many events, but when it came to my own daughter's wedding, I didn't want to feel the stress of details and questions and worry about everything being in place. I wanted to attend my daughter's wedding and enjoy it. Amina allowed that to happen!! Amina specializes in her organizational packets she sends to vendors. She creates a timeline down to the minute of all that needs to occur for a flawless wedding. I relaxed all day knowing she was at the helm. Everyone knew where to be, what to do and what was expected. And she worked tirelessly for setting up and then tearing down. I was able to be the hostess at my daughter's wedding instead of the organizer!! I walked around relaxed and only needing to care about our guests. At the end of the night, Amina made sure everything that needed to be collected was carefully packed into a couple of cars. I didn't even have to collect the wedding gifts!! She did it all. ALL!!!!!!!!! And we grew to be friends in the process. Two years later, when my son and his fiance were planning their wedding, we turned to Amina again. Fantastic experience: Amina with "Wedding Day Girl" is a one stop shop to everything a bride could ever need. I started planning early. By the time the big day came, I was pretty confident that I had all my ducks in a row and that everything would be good to go. I wasn't sure that I even needed any assistance. Hindsight, I thank my lucky stars that I went with Amina. You just don't know what you don't know. With so many last minute details and coordination necessities, I don't know if it all would've happened at all without her. I am still in awe of how organized and knowledgeable she was. Anything that I thought might be a potential disaster was suddenly made perfect. Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough amazing things about Amina. This woman was more than a wedding planner, she was an answered prayer!! She not only organized and planned everything perfectly in the weeks coming up to my wedding but made sure everything from my rehearsal dinner to my late night wedding snacks went off with out a hitch. Fantastic experience: We hired Wedding Day Girl for our wedding - and honestly - it was the best vendor hire we had, and we had some killer vendors if I say so myself. My husband and I were looking for someone special to be apart of our celebration - we instantly were drawn to Amina and it was completely obvious to us she knew exactly how to step into our wedding and be the person to lead the charge. Fantastic experience: I hired Amina to help with my wedding, and it was the best decision I made, next to saying yes to my fiance! Being the only girl in my family, I had virtually no idea what all went into planning such an event. Amina was there from the start. She was ever-present throughout the planning process, which helped take the stress away. She made me feel as though I was her only client. My husband's family and my family were traveling out of state to come to our wedding and Amina offered endless ideas to make sure our wedding was the most unforgettable event of the year. Many members of our bridal party commented how organized Amina was. She has a "withit-ness" that comes in handy when decisions need to be made on the spot. She and her staff were able to anticipate situations before they occurred, and had backup plans prepared if necessary. During our wedding she often checked in with us to make sure we and our guests were content. There were many more things that Amina and her staff did behind the scenes, such as contacting vendors, assisting with setup, following up with the venue, etc. If anything went wrong, my guests and I did not notice. I highly recommend hiring Wedding Day Girl. Amina and her staff will create an event beyond your wildest dreams!
