Fantastic experience: My husband, Scott, and I were lucky enough to have Modern Vintage as our planners for our wedding in November 2024. At first, I was hesitant about hiring planners—our venue included a coordinator, and I was trying to pinch pennies. But let me tell you: they are worth every single cent and more. I cannot imagine navigating the planning process, welcome party, ceremony, or reception without them. The day truly would have been a completely different event—far less magical and far more chaotic—without their guidance. Jessie and Becca (and, if you’re lucky, Evan!) not only bring impeccable taste and deep industry connections, but they are also absolute gems of human beings. Some of our favorite memories are from our planning sessions with them, and nearly a year after our wedding, we’re lucky to call them friends. Fantastic experience: I attended a wedding that this company helped plan. The women were so friendly and just amazing at their jobs! They promptly dealt with every issue that needed to be handled. They were so kind and so wonderful! I highly recommend this company! One of the most beautiful weddings that I have ever attended! The special touches were just perfect! Fantastic experience: We can’t thank Modern Vintage enough for making our wedding the most perfect day! We were originally planning for early 2020 and pivoted several times navigating our family needs as a higher risk household. We originally were in NYC when we started planning, with plans for a larger ceremony in Nashville. We’d eventually pivot to a wonderful smaller home ceremony that echoed elements of our original plans and felt even more special with their help. We’d recommend them for anyone planning in Nashville or NYC, their recs and experience in both cities are so amazing! We checked out around both to see what made most sense for us. They also were great at collaborating on our Sofreh Aghd, and other Persian elements for our ceremony for us. They make all the stressful things feel fun - from venue hunting, photographers, catering, music and guest dynamics ~ if you’re thinking about it, take it from us that they’re the ones whether a wedding or another event! You will find yourself wanting to invite them to all your future parties <3 <3

Fantastic experience: We worked with Jessie and Becca for a year planning our annual corporate team building event. They helped with everything from scouting locations to dealing with vendors to tracking our budget and every detail you can think of like menus, transportation, air travel and generally putting out fires for us. As a wedding photographer (for the last 8 years) I have worked with my fair share of planners and I can say that none compare to Jessie. She is detail-oriented, organized, and anticipates your needs before you even know what your needs are, the wedding day magician every bride needs on their wedding day!

Fantastic experience: My daughter’s wedding was last weekend at Cheekwood. When she decided to get married outside in the spring, I was beside myself with worry. We had hired the qualified team at Modern Vintage Events, and they assured me from the beginning that they would be there to ensure that everything went smoothly. Jessie and Becca held our hand (mine, for sure!) every step of the way. When we had questions or trouble, they were there to make contact with vendors and relay information in a timely manner. We felt like they were making us their priority and advocated for us every step. In the final days before the wedding, they kept everyone organized down to the tiniest detail, allowing us to enjoy the process. The day of the wedding, Jessie and Becca, along with their team, worked tirelessly behind the scenes. My husband, who would typically would not be in favor of spending extra money on planners, insisted that it was because of MVE that we were able to enjoy every minute of this special day. I am sure there were things that went wrong behind the scenes, but as far as we were concerned, it was perfect. Kudos to these ladies for a job well done. We can’t imagine what it would have been without them.

Fantastic experience: The team at MVE are incredible. They listen, they work so hard and they are ridiculously kind. Our wedding was awesome but crucially it was also exactly how we envisioned it. The vendors they recommended were dope and matched our aesthetics, their execution on the day was A1, and it was so cool to feel like we had someone truly collaborating with us the entire time. Fantastic experience: We were so thrilled with Modern Vintage Events. We knew we wanted to get married in Nashville -- where I grew up -- but the thought of hosting a wedding in another country -- as we now call Canada home -- was super daunting. That is until we met Becca and Jessie. They made the entire process so smooth and fun. They 100% understood the vision for our wedding and had an impressive rolodex of vendors who could help bring it to life. When we had to change venues 6 months out-- they handled the change with such grace and our wedding ended up even better than we could have ever hoped for. Fantastic experience: Jessie and Becca planned my son's Rehearsal Dinner and absolutely knocked it out of the park! They were So wonderful to work with, I would give them 10 stars if I could. From our first meeting to the last, they're ideas were wonderful and they immediately got the feel of what I wanted. I'm a worrier and they're patience knows no end!! they addressed every question, every concern or change of plans I had right up until the event. The night of the dinner they were there ensuring everything went smoothly and their efforts led to a night we will never forget!! They are not only 1st class at they're profession they are wonderful people and I only hope I get to work with them again in the future!!

Fantastic experience: We cannot say enough good things about Jessie and Becca. They stuck with us through COVID, a postponed wedding, and a downsized wedding. They are organized, on top of everything, and SO much fun to be around! They were an absolute delight to work with, and we miss getting to hang out with them in our wedding planning meetings! Fantastic experience: Hiring Modern Vintage Events was absolutely the best wedding planning decision we made. We simply would not have been able to have the wedding we wanted without their guidance and coordination. They took every single idea we had seriously and actively pursued a way for it to become a reality. But then they were honest with me if my idea seemed unrealistic or outside our budget. It was also mind-blowing how they were able to keep every tiny detail organized and were always one step ahead with making sure we didn’t miss deadlines or let anything fall through the cracks. Not only are Jessie and Becca superstar wedding planners, but you also get their recommendations for the BEST vendors for flowers, photography, cake, lightning, stationary etc. We were thrilled with how everything came together and how we could actually enjoy our wedding day. Jessie and Becca are truly worth their weight in gold. I tried to keep this review mostly practical since anyone reading this is deciding how to spend precious resources for a wedding. But I can't imagine planning our wedding without Jessie and Becca because they played a central role in making me, my now husband, and our families feel so special during the time we were engaged. They have such big hearts, warm energy, and exuberance about life. I am grateful we had these beautiful human beings with us as we traveled the (mostly) ups and downs of wedding planning and that they were by our sides making sure our special day was truly magical. Fantastic experience: Choosing to marry my wife was the best decision wedding decision I made. Having Becca and Jessie coordinating the event was a VERY close second! We hired them for coordination, and when they took over, it was like a weight had been lifted. They thought of questions we hadn’t even considered, and then solved them. They reached out to all our venders and ensured everyone was on the same page. At the rehearsal, they made sure every member of the bridal party knew exactly when and where to be the next day. That alone was no small feat! On the wedding day they were incredible. They addressed every little detail and made sure my wife and I enjoyed the entire day. Whether it was meeting us at a brewery to pin on boutonnières, or handing us a cocktail at the reception, they made sure we were present for every moment. I can’t stress how amazing they are. They will make sure your day is perfect. And Grooms to be, if your Fiancé wants to use MVE, just go with it. Or better yet, recommend them to your fiancé and look like a hero. Seriously. This will be the best decision you make.

Fantastic experience: Words can't really capture how grateful and in love/awe/ we are with Modern Vintage Events and Becca and Jessie. I'll be the first to admit that I was a "wedding planner" skeptic coming into this wedding planning process - coming out of it, I can tell you that hiring Modern Vintage Events was the best decision we made on our wedding day. Hands down. We hired Becca and Jessie for their coordination services (in retrospect, if we could do it again, we would hire them for full planning) and from beginning to end their services were spotless. They allowed us to actually focus on our day and what it was about -and not worry about a million little details that are burdensome but necessary to make a big event run. They were calm, collected and just plain lovely the entire process, and made us feel confident and stress free in the weeks leading up to our wedding. More importantly, they were our advocates- making sure that other vendors did their jobs, getting us better pricing than we could have secured on our own, and making sure the day was organized exactly how we wanted it to be. Unlike many other vendors we worked with, Modern Vintage Events was responsive, timely, honest, energetic, friendly, helpful, amazing... I could go on. Do yourself a favor and hire them - I am positive you won't regret it.

Fantastic experience: Modern Vintage made my daughter's wedding, in one word, seamless! Becca and Jessie made it all so easy! They kept everything in our budget (with no arguments between my daughter and I) and everything went especially smooth. I cannot express how thankful we are to have had this dynamic duo in charge of our wedding. From the preplanning to the day of the event - we could not have been more pleased. It was truly a wonderful dream come true for all of us.

Fantastic experience: MVE planned our wedding at The Wren's Nest on August 20th 2016. I live abroad and really needed to rely on someone local to help me plan the wedding and I can not stress enough how flawless of a job these girls did. From the flowers to the food and DJ and everyone else involved, it was a day I will ever forget. In addition to typical wedding demands, I am severely allergic to milk and all milk products so it was important to me that I have a dairy free wedding. MVE went above and beyond, checking with multiple catering companies and restaurants and eventually found both a catering company AND a bakery that dedicated themselves to making sure I had a totally milk free & vegan wedding. The guests (many of them cheese and steak lovers) are still talking about how good it was! It rained heavily on the day of my wedding but that didn't stop MVE, my husband and I from having a blast. They kept a close eye on the weather and when we had a quick window of no rain we all marched up through the woods and had the outdoor ceremony I dreamed of. This took a lot of organization on their part but they pulled it off flawlessly and I greatly appreciated it. Note from my parents: They wouldn't dare attempt to have a wedding without a planner and MVE are the best in town!
