Fantastic experience: Our wedding was 3 weeks ago, and dare I say... I actually miss wedding planning only because now I can't text Cydney all of the time! Before I met her, I had interviewed several other wedding planners in the Phoenix area and didn't really click with any. Fantastic experience: I am a local officiant who had the pleasure of working one of Cydney's recent weddings. First, I appreciated how she facilitated the communication between the couple and me. Second, her communication with me (and my guess is all other vendors) was clear and helpful leading up to the wedding. All good wedding planners will do these things to make the day easy for their couples. However, once I arrived to the actual wedding, I was exceedingly impressed! The couple hosted their wedding at their home and I could see, hear, and feel every detail that Cydney and her team had seen to, from the many and gorgeous flower displays to the pickleball-court-turned-dancefloor, and everything in between. The wedding was a hive of multi-level activity, buzzing with guests, vendors, and one very happy couple. Nice job, Cydney!

Fantastic experience: In all transparency when we were planning the wedding we thought "oh we do not need a wedding coordinator " and this would have been the first thing we cut out of our budget BUT I highly recommend you do not cut this cost. This is a MUST HAVE at your wedding. Cydney was worth every single penny!! Cydney genuinely cares about your day and wants it to be perfect. She was always available whenever we had a questions and quick to respond. Fantastic experience: Cydney at Westgate Events in Arizona carried out a dream destination wedding for my daughter Claire and her husband Adrian! Everything was perfection from start to finish! Cydney is organized, professional, knowledgeable and is very well respected in the Scottsdale and Paradise Valley, AZ area. Vendors all love working with her, and she and her team are the best in the business! Westgate Events even assisted us with an engagement photo shoot at an AZ venue the summer prior to the 2024 wedding! Those pics and wedding pics are on Instagram: @westgate.events. The March 2024 wedding was at Mountain Shadows in Paradise Valley, AZ which is a lovely place to get married! We took advantage of the outdoor lawn area with Camelback Mountain in the background for the ceremony, outdoor area for cocktails and appetizers, upstairs on the terrace for a formal sit down dinner, then we used the indoor ballroom for the fun dance reception. First Dance was held on the dinner terrace with special lighting and sparklers! We did the cake cutting inside and around 10 p.m. had late night bites and espresso martinis for our guests! Every detail was arranged by Cydney at Westgate Events with Input from us. We had a wonderful time putting it all together with Cydney and were so grateful for everything she did to make it all come together perfectly! I can’t count the amount of detail that turned out the way it did due to Cydney following up and being persistent with both my husband and I as well as our vendors. 10/10 recommend canvas as planners and Cydney specially because she’s just so amazing!!!!!!! Fantastic experience: There are no words to describe how amazing Cydney was, but I will try. Cydney stepped in when my old wedding planner wasn't able to take my new wedding date. I was a little lost on what to do and where to begin, and was anxious starting with a new planner. Cydney stepped right in and I knew I was in good hands. She made the months leading up to the wedding stress-free and made all my dreams come true. She was always available to chat through ideas, go through the timelines, comb through details and she always brought so much to the table and helped me get my vision right. On the wedding day, she was a rock star. My entire wedding party was in awe of how she was handling everything all day. I knew I was in good hands and in my mind the wedding day was flawless. I couldn't recommend Cydney and the entire Canvas team more. They were absolutely amazing. Thank you for all that you did for me!

Fantastic experience: Cydney was my personal angel on my wedding day. I was on the fence about using a wedding coordinator but I am SO GLAD I did. My venue marketed they had their own coordinators to work with but guess what… 4 coordinators later and I never even met who was running the show on their side for my big day. Without Cydney I would’ve been extremely lost and stressed on my wedding day. Instead, I got to relax, enjoy the day, and watch her beautiful work unfold. She was detail oriented every step of the way and made sure my vision stayed intact throughout the process. Look no further, she will make your dreams come true!!

Fantastic experience: Cydney at Canvas Wedding and Events is RAD. She picked up our wedding after our original date was moved due to Covid. Our previous planner (impersonal, big agency) didn't have our new date available. This was the biggest blessing in disguise. Cydney became our new quarterback and just started throwing touchdown passes right from the start. Our wedding would not have been the same without her. On game-day, she was always three steps ahead of us. We didn't need to think about anything except enjoying the day. Whether you're a bride or a groom, do yourself a favor and grab Cydney (and her team) before someone else books her for your date. Fantastic experience: Do yourself a favor and stop looking anywhere else and book Cydney with Canvas for your wedding RIGHT NOW! She will exceed all expectations you think you have in a wedding planner. She will drop anything for you, she will put so much care into your event the day of, but really she has such a gift to guide you through the planning process leading up to your event date. There will be some stress because duh you're planning an event that involves a lot of people and dynamics, but she will make it fun, easier and take the weight off of you so that you can still enjoy the process and not feel overwhelmed. Trust me, things will come up that you never expected or planned for and she was that unbiased filter to go to when i wasn't sure what to do. She was there with compassion when i needed to cry, but was also there to be my strength and worker bee to put in the work to shift gears and get the job done. And not just get it done, but get it done the right way - she never lost sight of the vision we wanted for our wedding - even when we had to completely scratch our original wedding venue and city only 2 months out from our date. We made it happen and honestly could not have had a better wedding. She worked well with other vendors and was able to put together great people that would surround us for our event, which makes sense because she is truly a great person of character herself. I can not put enough emphasis on the value of a planner, you may be the best party planner in the world, but when it comes to your own personal event let someone else take the reigns for you. There will be times you just want to go to someone with advice or questions that will be disconnected from your close circle and give it to you straight with only you and your fiances best intentions at heart. She reminded me always that it was 'our wedding' and to make every decision based off of what me and my fiance wanted. This will be very helpful along the way, especially if you're a people pleaser and love to involve all your family and friends in everything. It may feel scary to let go of control and trust someone else with one of the most important days of your life, but do yourself a favor and allow yourself the gift of being a guest at your wedding. Cydney took so much time to get to know my fiance, now husband, and I leading up to our wedding that I felt so comfortable completely letting go on the day of. I knew she would handle it all + she did. I can honestly say that we had the BEST wedding weekend ever and we owe so much of that to Cydney. She guided us through all our wedding decision making that I had zero regrets come day of and I seriously just let go and was so present come the day of. I'm quite a Type A personality and she was able to earn my trust where I honestly could let go and enjoy myself! Not an easy job for someone haha She is so kind, but also a boss to speak up, get it done and apologize later. She is there for you as her top priority the whole way. Happy to call her our wedding planner, but now a great friend. 110% recommend her to anyone with any event they need a planner for.

Fantastic experience: Words cannot describe how incredibly grateful I am that I hired Cydney with Canvas Weddings & Events. 2 1/2 months ago, my now husband, decided to plan a wedding. With not much time and not knowing where to start I knew I needed a wedding planner who did well under pressure and someone I could trust. After an hour on our initial phone conversation, I hired Cydney. What I imagined she was capable of doing versus what she did was nothing shy of absolute perfection (and in my mind a miracle). Her professionalism, communication, network of vendors, and hands on approach had my wedding literally almost planned within 2-3 weeks. I trusted her so much that once I gave her my wedding “vision” I told her to make any decisions independent of me that she thought was best. On the most important day of my life, Cydney executed our wedding beyond any comprehension. After I hired her, she said to me: “do not worry, do not stress, and do not think about anything else on your wedding day other than getting married.” I took her advice and I let her do her job. I never stressed, I didn’t think about much, and the day of our wedding the only thing I focused on was marrying my husband. Cydney and her team was the best money I spent on our wedding and she was the biggest asset throughout the planning process and on our wedding day. Her attention to detail, understanding, comfort, promptness, etc. is something I can’t fully express in words. She was so much more than just a wedding planner. She was a friend, a sister, and when needed—sometimes a therapist. I would hire her 100 times over.
