Fantastic experience: Working with Erica through our wedding planning journey made much of the planning so much easier. From the detailed homework assignments to her being on-call (literally) when dealing with vendors and one another, made the entire process less challenging. She is not only skilled in her work, but has many personal contacts with several popular vendors ranging from decor to floral to entertainment. Also—she keeps front of mind your budget so don’t think about going over because she will check once, twice and even a third time to ensure all the random ideas you may see on IG or think of along the planning journey aren’t added if it’s not within your budget. From one couple to another, we advise stay on top of the homework assignments and be yourselves. Erica does a great job at getting to know the two of you as individuals and as a couple.

Fantastic experience: When searching for a wedding planner it was important to my fiancé and I to find someone who would not only understand our vision, but someone who could also keep us within our budget. Fantastic experience: Erica and her crew assisted with our 3 day fusion wedding (Hispanic/Pakistani). She was so much help with tying up all the loose ends, getting us in contact with vendors that hadn’t really been communicating with us, and just reassuring us that everything would be okay. She gave us a lot of ideas and really helped bring our vision together. Erica is knowledgeable about a lot of different cultures and was able to help us incorporate traditions from both the Ismaili & Hispanic culture in a way that melded well together. On the day of, she made sure everything (and everyone) kept moving along and was following the timeline as close as possible. We received lots of compliments on our wedding and our coordinator and definitely recommend her services to anyone. Our only regret is not hiring her sooner!

Fantastic experience: I'm soooooooo glad I invested in Elite Collective class it truly was everything! From the chapter readings, homework, quizzes, and test. In my business I was discouraged because I didn't know what I didn't know, so I feared going full throttle because I was afraid of what I might encounter that I wasnt prepared for. Fantastic experience: Erica did full service for my wedding in August 2019. I chose her because she was the most thorough and responsive planner that I interviewed. She helped every step along the way in the planning process and truly went above and beyond. She even helped my fiance, now husband, with his and the groomsmen's tuxes, all the way down to picking out the grooms shoes. Erica led the design efforts for the big day (which is one of my weakest areas) and I cannot believe how beautiful everything turned out!! ****On the day of, I was stress free because I knew I was in the best of hands. Fantastic experience: Erica was seriously amazing!! After some issues with the original planner hired through our venue, we got Erica and I can’t believe how lucky we were. She was a Godsend, from figuring out what I wanted for my wedding vision (even when I couldn’t put what that was into words) to dealing with all the vendors and making sure everything was scheduled appropriately - she did it all perfectly. I would HIGHLY recommend! She had so many wonderful ideas I would have never thought of myself. Our wedding was perfect because of her!

Fantastic experience: Erica was such a blessing to me and my husband. Investing in a wedding planner was one of the first things I did early on in the wedding plannning process. Erica is helpful not only in planning but also in her resources. I was able to book interviews and meetings with several busy vendors because of Erica’s contacts on days like Friday afternoon when they would otherwise not be available if I were trying to book them by myself. My wedding day felt seamless to me and stress-free because Erica took all the stress upon herself. Even my chaplain remarked on how impressed he was with the level of organization on our wedding day. Fantastic experience: Let me first say that my wife and I didn’t have your typical wedding experience. For one - due to ‘unforseen travel issues’ we were forced to miss our original wedding date and rebook. Not something I wish for my worst enemy, but this review has a happy ending so stick with me here you’ll get the reason for my five stars. Now up to this point I was not very invovled with the process of planning this wedding. In fact, my line had been “...just tell me what to wear, when and where to show up and I’ll be there.” That said once we came to the realization that we were going to have to miss our original date and rebook; I got pretty hands on about things as my wife-to-be was pretty distraught at the time. But just then, as things were entering the darkest stage we get a phone call from Erica (Who I confess I was only referring to as ‘the planner’ up to this point) with news of something that was nothing short of incredible. Not only did she negotiate a new date that would work for both my wife and I but most of our guests as well. Erica, the miracle worker she is, was also able to rebook with the individual vendors at little to no additional cost. Needless to say this was amazing! I was genuinely impressed with her ability to get this done in a very high pressure situation and help my wife and I to have beautiful wedding experience. Now, if that wasn’t reason enough for five stars, let me tell you about ‘day of’ Erica. After weeks of checking in and making sure we had everything taken care of finally came the big day. With our wedding party consisting of mostly out of town guests there was no real rehearsal for the event. Always one to keep a level head, Erica tells us not to worry she’ll give the needed instructions to the wedding party a few minutes before the ceremony and it will be alright. Me knowing the members of the wedding party the way I do, I thought ‘Ain’t no way this is going to work,’ but at this point let’s just do what we have to do. So my groomsmen and I get the event location (Shout out to 5226 Elm St.) and sure enough Erica and staff are all there ready and waiting to get everyone prepared. As the ceremony drew closer ‘Day of’ Erica emerged. She rallied the troops and got everyone in place and somehow in the space of a few moments managed to deliver the most detailed and efficient instructions to a group unsuspecting groomsmen and bridesmaids ever, and somehow manage to make it stick! By the time the ceremony began everyone was in place and everyone knew exactly what to do. Minus one mistake on my part, things turned out as planned. I could sit here and go through all the other things that Erica and her team were able to do for us and the tightest of budgets, but that would take some time. However, allow me to say this, if this type of service doesn’t deserve five stars and the most glowing endorsement possible I don’t know what kind of service does. Hiring Elite Events is doing just that. It’s ensuring that you and your guests will have a high caliber event with someone who cares and has the know-how to create memories that will last you a lifetime. Thank you Erica

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love Elite Eventz, Erica, and the Elite Dollz!! After the first meeting my husband and I had with her he knew I loved her. When we walked out he said “I can tell you like her, we’re picking her aren’t we?” We talked for so long at our first meeting about more than just wedding details... she is the absolute SWEETEST! And she is very professional and ORGANIZED, she will make sure you do not forget a thing!! She will handle things you don’t even know you need handled! Fantastic experience: Erica planned and coordinated our “Big Day” on 11/04/2017, it was nothing less of perfect! Rewinding back 08/29/2015 when my now husband, Brian proposed I immediately inquired about Erica with Elite Eventz services. She called me while I was out shopping one afternoon and we chatted like long lost BFF’s. I knew then she could be trusted with planning our wedding and proceeded with scheduling a consultation. My mother and I met with Erica for the consultation. Honestly, I was expecting to briefly discuss minor details of the wedding and review the services offered. Well, this was not the case. Erica went over EVERY intricate detail from color schemes to type of corsages, we discussed things I would have never thought of. Needless to say, a few weeks later we excitedly booked Elite Eventz to plan and coordinate our wedding. Erica made the dreadful process of planning a wedding seamless. I received an organized binder with homework assignments, timelines, vendors, business cards, order of ceremony, program outlines, duties of the bridal party and parents...pretty much everything needed leading up to the wedding and surprisingly afterwards too. She and her dolls were good with scheduling vendor meetings, keeping an open line of communication between me, them and vendors and responsive to emails and text messages. Not once did I stress about things getting done. I’m nonchalant and go with the flow which is not the typical “Bridezilla”. The week leading up to the wedding the entire bridal party and vendors received a timeline and intricate details of what to expect. The precision of the timeline amazed me, there was no room for error! It’s now 11/04/2017, I’m anxiously waiting to see all the planning and hard work come to life. When I walked into the chapel and reception I was in complete awe, my dreams had literally come true. My husband and I do not regret booking with Elite Eventz and recommend her to all of our engaged friends!

Fantastic experience: I really don't know where to begin. I remember looking for a planner, contacting Erica and she was blew me away with her customer service and willingness to help me. Being that I wanted my wedding to be memorable every step, Erica made sure of that. Everything was breeze, it wasn't a horror as most brides experience. My husband and I, and my family love everything about her and the way she genuinely cared to make sure our wedding was a dream come true... Fantastic experience: We originally went with the coordinating team attached with our vendor but after losing some of their team they transferred all their brides to Erica and her team. I wished from the beginning we went with Elite Eventz! Erica was so professional and personal. She advocated for me the entire step of the way making sure this was the wedding I dreamed it to be. Meeting with her felt more like meetings with a friend because she was so fun to talk to. She was so organized and any chaos that happened even the day or week of the wedding she was on top of it! She wanted to make sure this event was as stress free and as enjoyable for us as possible. My favorite moment was during my wedding day my mom was a little stressed as we were getting ready and Erica told my mom that her and her team had a prayer session for the wedding and they also prayed for her that she would have peace. Fantastic experience: I worked with Erica and her team with the planning and execution of the Le Diner en Blanc event in Houston for the past two years. Erica kept all of us who were volunteers informed about the lastest directives, as well as was always available for questions if they arose. This helped make my job coordinating my leaders so much easier! I really appreciate when planners can facilitate, coordinate, and “fight fires” behind the scene so well that it seems seamless to guests. And I believe Erica truly embodies this! Fantastic experience: Erica and her team were amazing in coordinating, managing, and being flexible with my week long Indian wedding!! I had a variety of vendors for each of the three main events and Erica was able to put together each event while I was focusing on myself and having a good time with the guests. Fantastic experience: I was introduced to Erica by a previous intern of hers a few months after I had gotten engaged. We hadn't picked a date let alone pick any other detail out pertaining to our wedding. We came to Erica as a blank canvas, but I had ideas that were all over the place. Her lists of vendors exceeds your expectations and often times will give you more because of their relationship with Elite Eventz. Professionalism is key with Erica and her staff. Like every wedding, there are things that go wrong the day of, however, I wasn't stressed about any of them because of Erica and her team. She will truly listen to what you want and only intervene when she sees you may be struggling with some of the many decisions you'll have to make! Fantastic experience: Erica and Elite Eventz were simply invaluable for my wedding and bridal shower. Selecting a planner is so important, and it's important to choose a company you can truly trust to handle everything. Erica is very thorough and serious about her job. They were simply amazing when handling our once in a lifetime day of happiness. I often joke that Erica was our insurance policy for the wedding. However, that's the honest truth and not a joke. An event such as a wedding is pretty high up on the event list. Why wouldn't you want insurance for such an 'investment.' I know I did and that's exactly what I received. Erica is also pleasant to work with. I know coordinators get a bad rep sometimes, but that wasn't the case with her. Even though she's experienced, she doesn't have an unpleasant demeanor to accompany her accomplishments. Thank you again for EVERYTHING!

Fantastic experience: Erica with Elite Eventz was beyond amazing! We couldn't have lucked out better. We met Erica at an open house at the venue we got married at. We had already done a little research on wedding coordinators before going to this open house. I knew from the first conversation with Erica that I wanted her to be my coordinator. Her personality and get things done attitude did it for me. We are very much alike we learned! Erica got us started on our wedding planning for the first month and a half and then came back in the last month and a half to get us finished up and perfected! She kept in touch throughout the entire planning and gave us homework assignements to keep us on track with what needed to be done! The homework assignements sounded way worse than they really were.They always came just in time! I would recommend Elite Eventz to anyone planning a wedding. I don't know how people do it all on their own. If anything else, at least hire them as day of coordination. First I start by saying I fell in love with Erica at our first meeting. She was so bubbly but very thorough. She had her stuff together & was excited to work with me. She never made me feel like just another bride but instead she treated me like a friend. She asked tons of questions about me and my fiancé and really tried to get to know us. After 10 minutes I knew she was the one. The only mistake I made was not booking her for full service planning, instead I chose "Day Of". Despite the fact that I only had her for day of service she went above and beyond! We talked all the time & she sent me homework to guide me. She led a detailed rehearsal & kept my large wedding party in order. She is truly a class act. Any bride that doesn't choose E & her dolls is missing out!!!! Have an EliteEvent & go with Erica!!!

Fantastic experience: Who works on holidays, including Easter Sunday?!?! Elite Dolls do! From day one, I felt that I was in good hands with Erica of Elite Eventz because she was very personable, professional and intelligent; and then she proved me RIGHT! Erica made it all come together without a hitch, or at least not making me aware of any at the time, thank goodness, and I am so grateful to have met and worked with her! She eased my anxiety by always following up on EVERYTHING and by being very responsive to calls, texts and emails; even on her days off. Absolutely nothing was overlooked! I couldn't believe it but Erica also assumed the role of creative director for photos! She had such fab ideas for poses and pictures that added spunk and personality to an otherwise demure and traditional day. Most importantly to me, perhaps because I am a Chemical Engineer by degree, she pays attention to details!!! Everyone claims to be detail-oriented, but Erica walked the walked!!! She made sure that my hubby and I and also our parents were comfortable during the wedding and executed all of the things that we discussed flawlessly; including the last minute switch-ups and the unique unity portion of our ceremony. My mom said, “My glass stayed full”. Several guests exclaimed that “this was the best wedding that I have ever attended”. She was even thoughtful enough to check on me after the wedding and help me find the misplaced cake stand when I thought she would be long gone! :) With an “interesting” mix of personalities from family and guests, a huge wedding party (26 not including parents and special guests from both sides) and a bride and groom with very high expectations, Ms. E and her team excelled and delivered the wedding of our dreams! My only regret is that we didn't engage Elite Eventz sooner in the planning process!!!

Fantastic experience: Ms. Gordon is professional and an excellent wedding planner. She can certainly be an investment to any wedding. She made sure the wedding went off without a hitch. She walked both me and my wife through our wedding step by step and made sure it was my wife's day. I would recommend her because she is professional, experienced, has knowledge of the industry and comes at a very reasonable price.

Fantastic experience: Elite Eventz came to my rescue the last 4-weeks prior to my wedding day! Erica Gordon and her team worked MIRACLES with my budget and my wedding was spectacular and went off without a glitch. At our initial consultation she provided a timeline and worked with me step-by-step; minute-by-minute. Elite Eventz went above and beyond!!! Erica called me the morning of my wedding and assisted me until we got in the limo after our reception; and after our departure she ensured the reception hall was cleaned and all of our personal belongings & gifts were delivered to our home. Fantastic experience: Our wedding day went smoothly and effortlessly. We could not have been happier. I'm not sure what, if any, minor dramas or little hiccups may have taken place in the background. If there were any, neither Erica or anyone on her team told me about it. My husband and I, and my friends and family were able to relax and be present during the event. Through the planning process I found Erica easy to talk with, incredibly well organized, and full of fun ideas and recommendations. Her method of organizing tasks into manageable homework assignments helped us set reasonable goals and stay on track without feeling overwhelmed. We were very happy with her vendor recommendations particularly the florist, Kiesha's Kreations, and the lighting and sound group, RE Event Solutions, that she recommend. When I arrived at our location and saw our Chuppah and white garden chairs aglow with candle light and draped with flowers I burst into tears. It was all more beautiful and magical than I had even imagined. Erica really listened to our ideas and helped us find vendors that would understand our vision. We never felt that anyone was pushing us in a direction that we didn't want to go. We were planning most of the wedding from out of state and she helped arrange vendor meetings so that we could come into town and meet with many people as possible in a short amount of time. It was efficient and effective. She also called all of our vendors to arrange arrival times and confirm final appointments, including my off-site hairstylist, who was told me she was surprised but happy to have been called. I would recommend Erica to any of my friends with 100% confidence.

Fantastic experience: As a groom, I took a hands off approach to planning our wedding. When my bride mentioned she hired a planner I was skeptical & didn't see the need. Boy was I Wrong!!!!! Every time my fiancé mentioned Erica's name her eyes would light up! She always had good things to say & all sorts of "Homework" to do that she enjoyed. I slowly started be sold on Elite Eventz as well. It wasn't until the rehearsal when I saw her in action that I too was glad we hired her. Somehow she kept all 25 members of our wedding party in line, attentive, & fully prepared. The true test of her ability came into action when the Event Decorator/Florist (Erica did not refer her to us...... Bad mistake on our part) DID NOT SHOW UP!!!!!! We had no bouquets, arrangements, centerpieces, Or anything!!!!!!! I honestly thought my bride was going to have a melt down & that Erica would walk out!! I was wrong!! She stepped up & took over. She got on her phone , walkie talkies, and headset and made miracles happen. She directed our hostesses, bridesmaids, & willing guests who wanted to help out. Within the hour we had bouquets and linens at our reception. Many of our guests commented on how nice our wedding was. Oddly enough, the few people who knew of the problem couldn't even tell that things were going wrong. She is blessed & must be an angel!! I don't know how she did what she did but....... She did!!! We owe our entire wedding experience to her!

Want absolutely no worries and someone you can trust to help you make important detailed decisions about every aspect of your wedding.... Look no further! Elite eventz is the answer. I had the honor of being a full service bride with Elite Eventz for 14 months. This package was worth every penny. She scheduled and came to all vendor meetings, negotiated prices, and guided me through every single step of the entire wedding planning process. Her homework assignments were well thought out to make a stressful time as calm as possible. Erica is extremely organized and always responded to any question via text email or phone call within at least 8 hours except on Sundays and Mondays because thats her "weekend" and time to rest. I remember being "engaged and confused" at the first bridal show I attended, we had no idea where to start. Hiring Erica was the best decision ever! The week of the wedding, I did not have to speak or confirm any details with vendors because Erica handled absolutely everything. The rehearsal went smooth and the entire bridal party knew what they were supposed to do in detail. It was not chaotic. The day of the wedding every single detail I wanted was accomplished. I could not have asked for a better day. I can't imagine what our wedding would have been like without Erica. The full service package included several bridal bootcamp classes, a pole dancing party for your bridesmaids, pre marital counseling book, honeymoon suite decorations, bridal hair and makeup amongst other extra things that will make the planning process fun. This package is well worth the extra money. She even came to our engagement and bridal shoots and helped us with posing and brainstorming cool ideas for better photos. Nicko, her assistant, was mainly with me the day of the wedding. He has a very calm, tender, nurturing spirit. Any request I had he made sure it was communicated to Erica and they made it happen somehow like magic. Without Elite Eventz our wedding would have been the plain hotel white linen boring wedding. I am so thankful we chose her!!!

Fantastic experience: Working with Erica is a breeze! She has to be the most amazing wedding planner I have ever worked with. She is organized, professional, remarkably talented at planning even the most highly detailed events. I refer her to all my brides wanting more planning services or day of coordination. As a florist we count on planners to provide timelines and provide updates for day of and any other pertinent info as it relates to our setups. They go above and beyond!!
