Fantastic experience: Belen was the absolute BEST planner we could have found for our wedding and genuinely a true pleasure to work with. She went above and beyond to help us organize ourselves and make our wedding a dream come true. She is respectful of your wishes and preferences and made every one of our decisions feel “right”. Her team was excellent on the day of our wedding and everything flowed seamlessly despite having to flip an entire room from a ceremony area to a “club”. Our vendors constantly communicated with her to ease our pre-wedding pressures and responsibilities as well as plan, and her leadership as a wedding planner is truly admirable. She met with us on a weekly basis as we got closer to our wedding to ensure all our questions and concerns were addressed… cannot recommend Belen and her entire team (Angie was a lifesaver on our wedding day!) enough!!!

From beginning to end, everything you touched had intention, beauty, and soul. You weren’t just our “wedding planner,” you became someone we now truly call a friend. You made the entire process feel effortless, even knowing how design-challenged we can be! You took the time to really understand both Bill and me, and in doing so, you captured our personalities in every detail. Working with you felt so natural, so easy—like we were always on the same wavelength. As you probably noticed, I don’t have much immediate family beyond my husband and kiddos. On such an emotional day, you and Angie were truly my rock - you became my family. Angie, you are the perfect yin to Belen’s yang—organized, calming, and always one step ahead. I honestly don’t know how I would have stayed grounded without you. You went above and beyond in ways I can’t even put into words. We love and appreciate you both so deeply. You and Belen will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

Fantastic experience: I had already planned my older daughter's wedding and now it was my younger daughter's turn. I was under the impression I could do much of the planning myself as I had thrown a wedding with a day of coordinator but I quickly realized I needed a little more handing holding and guidance. My amazing florist, Ponce Floral Design (Edgar but call him Ponce) gently urged me to get a planner and recommended Belen. I decided to call her and that was once of the best decisions I made concerning the entire wedding. Thank God for Belen and her amazing team. It was. like she not only could read my mind but could handle my daughter, who lives in Orlando, with kindness and knowledge. She took the reins and handled every ridiculous detail with ease. Between vendors, insurance, finances, planning, scheduling, the hotel, the bridal party and the bride plus a slew of other activities (guest shoe breaks and she comes to the rescue, venue decides last minute to change terms, Belen came to the rescue...over and over). All her suggestions were spot on and thank goodness I listened to her. Having Belen as a planner is having the CEO of the event there. Her staff is amazing and she anticipated happenings before they happened, handled the anxiety of bride and myself but more importantly...took that anxiety away. We were in the best hands and damn well felt it and knew it. Personal note: Belen...Lily, Eddie and I thank you!

Fantastic experience: 5 Stars is not enough!! Belen, Angie and their team are the real deal! They had a beast of a wedding to plan at the Vizcaya with only 8 weeks to pull it off. Every meeting was so professional and since we were so behind there was a lot of uncertainty and questions. Belen handled every meeting like a pro never eluding anything but confidence and comforting us. During the process of already knowing all the other vendors, i.e. flowers, catering, lighting production, photographer etc, once they found out Belen and team were in charge everyone sighed a breath of relief. Our family keep calling them the “A Team” the “Avengers” we knew we were in good hands. The icing on the cake was watching them in action the night of my daughter’s wedding. Wow just wow! What pros they are! Wish I could plan another wedding (JK) this team is the A team. If you want the best - Bellisimo Events is your dream team ♥️

Fantastic experience: Bellísimo Events is amazing! We had the pleasure of having Maria as our wedding planner and it is one of the BEST decisions that we made. I discovered Bellísimo through Instagram after falling in love Ponce Floral Design’s work and following him for some time. I remember when we submitted inquiry online, Maria responded so promptly and her professionalism was great . Maria listened intently to our every need and it did not feel pushy. We live Maryland but decided to have our wedding in Fort Lauderdale, so you know it takes a lot of trust to allow someone to carry out your vision from such a far distance but one thing I can say is Maria from Bellísimo Events gave us our vision and so much more for our special day. We could not ask for a better Wedding Planner. Every time we see a video or post our hearts are warmed all over again. This is an amazing team and without reservation we can say that Maria is now family.

I began looking for a wedding planner and called 6 of them in Miami but you my Bel made an impact and changed the whole game, I simply had an instant connection with you on that first phone call, it felt like we're definitely the one to plan the most important day of my life, short after this I met you in person and I fully understood why I felt so sure on the phone. I thank you for always being open to listen to my ideas and most importantly for your complete honesty towards them and with a lot of my request, and you made it all possible, it was impressive the amount of patience you had with me and how much you cared about the bride wishes. Fantastic experience: Maria Belen was absolutely amazing. We had our wedding at Vizcaya Gardens back in February. We got her as “Month of” but that did not mean that she only helped us during those days. She took the time to help us in small details like suggestions for vendors, ideas. Fantastic experience: Maria was an absolute joy to work with! We got married at the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens which can be a tricky venue to work with. She made it so seamless and easy to find the best vendors! She was constantly in communication with me and made me feel at ease throughout the entire process. Maria would always give me her best opinion and advice while also honoring our wishes. Maria and her team were such a great support and I’m so glad we chose them for our wedding day!

Fantastic experience: It was important for me to work with, not only professionals, but people close to us that we felt comfortable with and knew that our wedding day meant something to them, as well. The day I got engaged Belen wrote to me and said “omg congratulations! I want to do your wedding!” At first, because it was intended on being a small, intimate civil wedding, I swore I would be able to handle planning a wedding in just 4 months (in the middle of a pandemic)… while working a full time job! I quickly realized that, as the guest list quickly grew and the date was fast-approaching, I had to either quit working or hire an event planner - it was a no brainer. I contacted Belen and lucky for us, she was available in Miami, FL for a September wedding! We hired her for the “Month of Coordination package” but Lord knows she was supporting me from the very start, and for that I am eternally grateful! Belen took care of the coordination with vendors prior to the wedding and executed our plans (previously aligned in perfect detail about 100 times) to the T the day of! She handled our demands’ with ease, always had a solution and/or recommendation for every hiccup we came across and thanks to that, as my makeup artist told me on my wedding day “you are the most relaxed and calm bride I have ever dealt with”. Fantastic experience: Maria and Jenny were absolutely wonderful; warm, caring, and all-in! From start to finish, they didn’t miss a detail. Maria was the glue that held it all together that night. She showed up before all the venders, took control and gave directives according to my daughter’s specifications. The wedding was perfect and a night to remember. We were able to sit back, soak it all in, and just enjoy the evening. I developed a deep fondness for Maria and the absolute devotion she showed in representing us. Whenever we talk about the wedding, I think of that. ♥️

Negative experience: After we spent more than one hour planning the event and trust her, she never answered again the messages so I felt I lost my time with her!!! I just uploaded a picture as per her answer! She said she sent an email! She never sent anything and never answered my WhatsApps and my calls! UNPROFESSIONAL

Fantastic experience: A few months before my wedding I realized that I needed a wedding planner so I began searching through several wedding websites and began calling numerous companies. I spoke with Maria on the phone who was very nice and offered me a very affordable price for not only one wedding planner but a wedding planner and an assistant. I could not believe that I was getting a wedding planner and an assistant for such an affordable price so needless to say I booked with this company and am so glad that I did! My main wedding planner was Juan and the assistant was Marcela and both of them were amazing! Juan was at the venue during the setup and Marcela was with me while I was getting ready and during our photos. Juan called and texted me a few times to confirm some details, which I greatly appreciated because I am a very detail-oriented person. There were moments during the day when I began to get stressed out and Marcela was there during every one of those moments to assure me that everything was going to be just fine. There were a few changes that we made during the day of our event and the two of them were very accommodating and flexible! Hire them, you won't regret it!

Fantastic experience: I got married on 1/18/2020, and it was flawless thanks to Maria and her team. I did a few things that were pretty non-traditional, and felt really judged by a few planners I spoke to before finding Maria. She listened to my ideas and was actually excited by them. My wedding day was stress-free because I knew she was taking care of everything. She handled all the little emergencies that came up, dealt with the things I forgot, so that all I had to worry about was having a great time. They did a really beautiful job setting everything up, and making sure everyone was where they were supposed to be at the right time. I was on the fence about hiring a day-of coordinator, and I am so glad that I did! There is no way things would have been ready on time, or gone as smoothly had it not been for Maria. Hiring her was one of the best decisions I made while planning my wedding.

Working with Bellisimo Events was an absolute blessing and the best decision I ever made. Maria Belen took care of all the big and major stuff for my wedding, all I had to do was provide her with decoration and personal stuff and her and her staff made sure to make my dream come true! Literally! Negative experience: Our wedding was MAGICAL AND AMAZING THANKS TO MY SISTER AND MY MOTHER AND MY BRIDESMAIDS. Maria Belen Castillo owner of Bellisimo Events was a complete disaster to our wedding. She acted selfish, egocentrically and only looked after her own interests. We got her top of line full - all inclusive wedding planning package, which was her most expensive package, food was also from her ( from bellissimo cucine). I will put a short list of a couple of things she did upside down: -In my reception it rained after dinner and all my guests were getting wet and Maria Belen just froze herself in front of the dessert table doing NOTTHINGGGG, her face was in shock like oops I didnt have a plan B, so instead of taking action she did nothing but stand there. On the other hand my mom and my sister handled EVERYTHING, AND TOOK ACTION INTO WHAT WAS GOING ON. My mom and sister told all the wedding guest to go upstairs so they didn't get wet and to continue the party there. Our wedding guests (and off course not Maria Belens staff) where moving the furniture upstairs so everyone could fit! Maria Belen did absolutely nothing when we really needed her wedding planning knowledge and skills, she told her staff to do nothing. -Maria Belen NEVER HAD a plan B. It rained in the morning, hours before the wedding started and that was never a sign for her to get a tent. -This was one of the worst things Maria Belen did, she told the DJ it was ok for him to leave at 8pm, when we paid him until 11pm! (the DJ we also got through her, she recommended us that DJ) It was not until my sister sees the DJ packing his stuff and she goes and ask Maria Belen why is the DJ packing his stuff if he was paid until 11 pm. AGAIN my mom and my sister had to tell the DJ to move to another place so he can continue with the music until 11pm. -We paid for a WHITE dance floor and she delivered a BROWN UGLY and bad quality dance floor. -When we visited her flower vendor with Maria Belen we gave him pictures of how we wanted my bouquet and pictures of the centerpieces, and in our wedding day the centerpieces were very very small (not like pictures we printed out and took to the florist) and my bouquet was nothing like the picture we agreed upon, it was also very small and different flowers. (Turns out her flower vendor ripped us off). I would have rather payed MORE to a more honest vendor, than just get ripped of with very small centerpieces. -We were about to go to the church ceremony and she forgot our rings and my veil and again MY MOTHER AND SISTER WERE THE ONES THAT NOTICED AND WENT BACK AND GET THEM. Maria Belen didn't care about these things, she just drove to church. -We printed out Church Booklets for our guests (had info of our ceremony) and Maria was the one suppose to give out those booklets and my MOM had to give them to all my guests cause Maria didn't do it. We already had someone from church assigned to organize the wedding party, so giving out church booklets was her only duty in church. A lot of our guests read in ceremony so it was very important for her to give those out, so guests know when to stand up and read. -The whole time in the reception she waiting for someone to tell her how to do things and to tell what to do in each little moment, she never took the lead or had any initiative at any moment during the WHOLE ENTIRE WEDDING, my mom and my sister were telling her what to do all the time. A wedding planner is someone that takes control and initiative at all moments in the weddings and solves any type of problem that comes. She didn't act nothing like a wedding planner, she just froze all night and my mother and sister had to take action and handle everything, she was just very careless about absolutely everything. Nothing was stress free with her. My mom and my sister and my bridesmaids couldn't have a good time because of her. When I booked her I saw her reviews, but then realized that she had only done wedding inside hotels, were everything is already done by hotel employees so she did not have any REAL wedding planning experience.

Fantastic experience: Our wedding came out so beautiful. Maria did an excellent job planning everything and on the day of the wedding she led a team of people that worked together making sure everything was on point. Throughout the planning process she was on top of everything making sure to meet all deadlines, guiding us through all the steps, and connecting us with the right people to meet all our wedding needs. She always had great recommendations and guidance based on her experience but was also very flexible and accommodating when we wanted things specific to our taste. She was also very responsive and available to talk and answer all our questions. It was great working with her and I highly recommend her!
