Experiencia negativa: It has taken tremendous courage and strength to come forward about my experience with Cherish. My conscience will not allow me to stay silent any longer especially since there’s been months of coordinated efforts to have my reviews removed and threats used to pressure my husband and I into silence. My initial review disappeared, and I have been met with a pattern of escalating messages, indirect outreach, and attempts to control what I say about my own wedding experience. The pressure and threats have been persistent, and deeply unsettling. My wedding day, which should have been filled with peace, was nearly overshadowed by Cherish’s tense, distant, and at times sharply dismissive demeanor toward me. There were moments where her presence felt more like an obstacle than support. I found myself bracing around her rather than relying on her, which added an emotional heaviness I could never have anticipated on my own wedding day. Despite feeling distressed, I still reached out afterward to apologize for my tone during a difficult moment and to acknowledge the parts of my wedding that did go right. Not long after, she told us a top bridal magazine wanted to feature our wedding, a gesture that made us hopeful things were moving forward peacefully. But when my husband and I later shared professional, constructive feedback, everything changed abruptly and dramatically. She blocked us without explanation and cut off all communication. Yet our wedding images continued to be used across her platforms. We, along with our photographer, made multiple written requests, documented and timestamped for them to be removed. These requests were ignored for a period of time. When we left a public review and again asked for removal, the situation escalated sharply. Cherish attempted to enforce a contract that was never executed, as it was never signed by her, Cherish also went on to relentlessly send legal threats our way. Then came a series of messages and accusations some sent directly, others routed through third parties that carried a tone so confrontational and forceful that it left us both stunned and uneasy. The timing, coordination, and intensity created a sense of being monitored and retaliated against simply for speaking about our experience. For months, the fear of further escalation kept me silent. But carrying that silence has become heavier than telling the truth. The overall pattern we experienced—the pressure, the threats, the continued use of images without permission, the attempt to enforce an unsigned contract, and the escalation once we voiced concerns—was far more disturbing than a simple vendor-client disagreement. It left a lingering emotional and psychological impact that I am still processing. I must add I was not the only one displeased with her actions. Multiple family members were not only disappointed in her conduct but shocked that a planner would conduct herself in such a way. Vendors also shared concerns about Cherish privately. Future couples deserve to know what they are stepping into. Based on my personal experience, I strongly encourage you to: • Make sure every contract is fully signed and executed. • Set strict communication boundaries from the beginning. • Put all permissions in writing, including image usage. • Pay close attention to how concerns are handled, especially early on. • And above all, trust your instincts if any part of the interaction feels off. I am sharing this not out of malice, but because silence, especially silence created through pressure only protects behavior that should be examined. My hope is that this review spares other couples from the fear, anxiety, and emotional strain that my husband and I experienced during our wedding season.

Experiencia negativa: As the Maid of Honor and the bride’s sister, I was heartbroken to see how stressful working with Cherish became for my sister. On the wedding day, Cherish seemed distant and tense, which added unnecessary pressure during what should have been a joyful time. Several family members and guests including elderly relatives and our mother were left with a negative impression of her demeanor and approach. Her interactions unfortunately came across as curt at times, leaving a lasting sense of discomfort among some attendees. Throughout the process, it often felt like my sister and our family were left to pick up pieces and fill gaps that should have been handled by a professional planner. There seemed to be a pattern of poor communication and lack of follow through that made what should have been a joyful celebration unnecessarily stressful. Afterward, Cherish stopped communicating, told vendors she was no longer assisting, but still continued posting the couple’s photos across marketing and social media platforms. Watching my sister face intimidation for simply speaking up and sharing her experience was painful to witness. Cherish has tried to paint my sister and her husband as unprofessional and difficult, but I can personally attest that those claims are untrue and, in my opinion, an attempt to undermine their credibility. Ultimately, the wedding day turned out beautifully only because of the couples grace under pressure and the dedication of close family who stepped in to help manage last-minute details. Without those efforts, the day could have easily gone off track. I truly hope future couples experience a more professional, supportive, and seamless process.

Throughout the planning process, I often felt unsupported and unheard. On our wedding day, Cherish came across as distant and cold, and at times it felt like she wasn’t fully engaged in what was happening around us. Watching my wife who had poured so much heart and effort into this day feel stressed and discouraged was heartbreaking to me as a husband. What should have been one of the happiest days of our lives instead became tense and unnecessarily difficult. After the wedding, my wife respectfully reached out to Cherish to acknowledge the tone she expressed during a brief moment of confrontation and to still show gratitude, hoping to move forward peacefully. I also reached out afterward to share my thoughts on what I observed during the wedding. She said she’d address my concerns, but shortly after, my wife and I found out we’d been blocked. To me, that said a lot about her professionalism and willingness to take accountability. When my wife later shared her experience publicly, Cherish responded with legal threats meant to intimidate and silence us for speaking out, causing us to remove our reviews. It was disappointing and unsettling to experience after everything we’d already been through. Cherish also claimed that my wife was disrespectful toward vendors, which simply isn’t true. My wife treated every vendor with kindness and respect throughout the entire process. No couple should ever have to go through this kind of experience. In my opinion, a wedding planner should bring calm, care, and professionalism—not avoidance, hostility, or intimidation.

Experiencia fantástica: We had the absolute pleasure of working with Cherish from Dream Wedding & Events as our wedding planner/coordinator, and I truly cannot recommend her enough! From start to finish, she went above and beyond to make sure everything was seamless. She is organized, professional, and incredibly talented at what she does. What stood out the most was her ability to bring my vision to life, even when I was indecisive. She listened, guided me through decisions, and made the entire process so much less stressful. On the wedding day itself, she kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes so we could just enjoy every moment. From the beginning when we were looking for wedding planners we emailed a handful and Cherish was the quickest, most professional, and detailed response we got. Throughout planning our wedding, Cherish was delightful to work with. She helped answer all our questions, give suggestions, and reassure us. She had top tier communication with vendors so we didn't have to worry about a single thing. During our wedding week she was very organized and made sure to let us know to contact her with whatever we need or if we had any last minute problems. During the wedding day Cherish and her assistant, Mikayla, were very professional yet so fun and high spirited to be around. Experiencia fantástica: Cherrish was AMAZING! She was always and consistently was matching our vibe, and truly understood our vision that we wanted for our big day. She gave suggestions, but never pushed an “idea” or “tradition” we didn’t want. Her attention to detail was exceptional, it was so amazing and refreshing to being actually relaxed on my (our) big day. She’s pop in and say “this is ready for you, how would you like it, are you okay with that” so kind. The ONLY thing I tell people who are planning a wedding and don’t know where to start? “Hire Cherrish. Hands down. I mean, if you want a stress free wedding day”

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot thank Cherish enough and I cannot recommend her enough to future brides. She is a seasoned professional and that was invaluable to us. She was patient, kind, funny, radiant, accommodating, realistic - but willing to help us execute on our dream day. She also had a network of vendors and preferred partners to help make the day come alive. With so many options out there, having a vendor or partner vetted independent of a venue just provides a certain peace of mind and the vendors we selected through her recommendation were S-tier. I didn't have to stress because I knew I had fantastic support with Cherish. She was even able to understand my vision and KNOW that she could transform our event space to meet my expectations. Words don't even do her justice to be honest and I miss our check-ins because I miss her. Do yourself a favor and allocate the budget for Cherish because she will be the best investment you make for your big day.

Experiencia negativa: (Update at the end) The last time I ever heard from Cherish was two days before our wedding. In September of last year. We emailed her several times over the last couple months, with no reply. That last time we heard from her, she was emailing to introduce us to the assistant she was passing our wedding day off to, someone we'd never met. She waited until two weeks before our wedding to tell us she wouldn’t be coordinating it, a stranger would. Cherish wouldn’t even let us talk to the woman who we were supposed to be trusting with our special day (and thousands of dollars) until the night before the rehearsal. But Cherish told us that she’d be on site to at least help set up on the day of. She never showed up. Her assistant had to set up by herself, and we had nobody to coordinate getting ready, the first look, or even help when my wife was panicking about not having enough cash for tips, instead of getting ready with her bridesmaids. The bride spent time on her wedding day writing IOUs because we didn’t have a coordinator to help reassure her we could tip later. She didn’t tell us when it was time to do anything until we lined up for the ceremony. And she asked to leave early, even though the contract said “we’re there from start to finish.” This was par for the course, though. DW rarely delivered on their commitments to us, even the ones they put in their contract. We got Cherish’s “Partial Planning” package, but she did little to no planning. Despite hiring her a year and a half before the wedding, she only met with us once in person, and barely could be bothered to attend our scheduled virtual meetings, most of which she rescheduled last minute. When she did meet with us, she frequently talked over and interrupted my wife. My wife is quiet, and was not a pushy or demanding bride, so when she had an opinion about her own wedding, she should have been listened to. Cherish never even did a walkthrough of the venue with us, even though we said that was extremely important to us before we hired her. In fact, she didn’t do even one of the things we said was extremely important to us when we hired her, nor a lot of the things that were in the contract we have with her. She didn’t help keep us on track with monthly emails, manage most of our vendors, provide two people for our wedding day, do a walkthrough with or without us, or be available for us to talk to much at all. I suppose she did manage two of our vendors, but she messed up on both of them, to the point where my wife found that it was just easier to cut Cherish out of dealing with one of them entirely. It’s hard to imagine a wedding planner doing a worse job than Cherish did for us, just taking our money and running without even following the contract she wrote. What I've written here is just a fraction of the commitments she failed to meet. You only get this day once. Don't trust it to someone who will ditch you at the last minute. UPDATE: Cherish’s response is telling. She addressed very few of our actual complaints, and what she did say wasn’t true. Even if she somehow didn’t receive our emails, OUR email address remains unchanged; she could have reached out to us directly when she saw this review, but still hasn’t a day later. She also might have known how we felt if she ever bothered to reach out after the wedding and ask “how’d we do? How was the total stranger I punted your wedding to at the last minute?” She says that we were able to talk to Katie any time. Not true. Cherish wouldn’t let us meet or talk with her until right before the wedding because she wasn’t contracted to start yet. Don’t buy the complaints story, either. We had great relationships with nearly all our vendors. If there were issues, Cherish never mentioned them. If they happened on the big day, then she could have brought them up at a post-wedding follow up, but that never happened. We’d have been delighted to resolve this privately, and still would! If DW’s having trouble with their inbox, they’re still more than welcome to email us any time from one that works.

As a photographer, I work with a lot of wedding planners and Cherish was truly exceptional! She was professional, had amazing energy, and was always thinking one step ahead. It just felt effortless!
