Experiencia fantástica: Nearly a year had passed since I proposed and we had not done a thing towards our wedding, not even set a date. My bride (then fiancé) and I are working professionals and it was clear we didn’t have the bandwidth to plan the event we were envisioning. I was recommended two different event planning companies, Immaculate Events and another I won’t name directly. I reached out to both and asked if a meeting could be set for Sunday or Monday. Immaculate Events was able to meet the immediate Monday while the other replied their office is closed Sundays and Mondays. We met with Immaculate Events first since they were available. From the very beginning of the call, Dieudonne exhibited knowledge and experience you’d expect from a recommended event planner. She was professional and sensitive to our timeline concerns. We left the meeting feeling good but wanted to do due diligence and meet with the other planner. I requested a meeting while informing Dieudonne we had not yet made a decision. A week had passed and my text was still not returned. This was a red flag. We chose Immaculate Events for our wedding planning and the rest is the most spectacular history of our lives. We went with the Luxe Package, which at nearly $7000, seemed initially to be an expensive investment. It took us nearly 2 weeks to make our decision after carefully evaluating each of her service packages. I realize the Luxe may not be a viable solution for everyone. We also considered her lower priced tiers but in the end, it came down to margin of error, and my margin of error allowance was very slim. As our wedding day approached, our guest list continued to increase from the originally planned 40 to eventually 130+. This created a ripple effect increasing the work needed from all our vendors. Dieudonne helped navigate this by directly communicating with our vendors, scheduled calls to talk through solutions. We also missed the window of time needed for custom invitations. Thankfully, Dieudonne connected us with someone who could accommodate our very short turn-around but also able to incorporate some of our wedding color and design elements. She has relationships with many vendors and met with them personally, even when we couldn’t! She made recommendations based on our preferences and provided critical feedback from direct experience with them. While we used many of her recommended vendors, I opted to go with a different group of string performers. She respected my decision and made sure our string performers had all the information needed and made them feel supported. Dieudonne’s true value lies in her day-of event performance where her talents are on full display. Dieudonne has no hesitation when things don’t go as planned, and I assure you, things will not go as planned! Our example was, we paid over $5,000 for a large clear tent to be set up over our outdoor dining reception. When I arrived at the venue I noticed a white tent was being installed. Dieudonne met me and told me she was on the phone demanding the mistake be corrected. I was nearly ready to accept the white alternative but Dieudonne informed me the vendor is on their way to install the tent we paid for! This would’ve created significant undue stress and consumed a lot of time if it weren’t for having an experienced, assertive floor director like Dieudonne. She also prepared the day’s itinerary and did an exceptional job keeping us on schedule despite the many uncontrollable forces working against her. Guests will show up late, wedding party will get lost, photographer will need more time, and long speeches will be given etc etc. She handled it with grace and composure. We’re 4 days removed from our wedding but I worked so close and feverishly with Dieudonne for the past 14 months and now our day is over. I’m certain we communicated every day in that last month of planning. We formed such a strong bond and now it’s sad to say goodbye. I even just asked my new bride for a divorce so we could get married all over again with Dieudonne. I’m joking of course … or am I?

Experiencia fantástica: Let me tell you about Ms. Dieudonne! She is FANTABULOUS!!! My brother wanted to do a 50th birthday bash for his wife. Of course, he asked me to help, but I live in D.C. There was only so much I could do from afar. I told him we needed a party planner. He also knows how I am, so he allowed assist in selecting the party planner. At our first meeting, I was impressed. As a person who has assisted in planning huge events, I know how much work goes into planning. She asked all the right questions to understand our vision, which was unique, and guided us all the way through the process with a smile on her face. I know for sure there were some annoying moments, because I was annoyed! But her professionalism is on point! Everything we asked for, she delivered. She fixed every possible issue that we knew about am I'm certain she handled others without our knowledge. The event turned out IMMACULATE! We absolutely appreciate her attention to details and her work to make sure this party went off without a hitch! If you need an event planner, Dieudonne is the one!!

She planned our five year vow renewal for us, with us being in Maryland and her in Florida. She had all the answers, and you can tell she takes pride in her work. We were nervous that all our ideas only looked good on a pinterest board and when combined would be way too much. Dieudonne met with us virtually as many times as we needed to go over everything we wanted and she created the perfect plan for a beautiful outdoor event. Because we live in Florida and our event was in July, we had to also have a backup plan incase of rain. One the day of the event it was rainy and gloomy when she arrived. Experiencia fantástica: I have never hired a professional event planner before, and one reason was I thought they were too expensive. Talk about pleasantly surprised when I was given a very fair price for a priceless service! But, also I always enjoyed putting together our gatherings for family, but when it came to my daughters Bridal Shower I not only wanted to make it special for her - I wanted it to be a relaxing process for myself. I needed a professional in this area to help me do it right. I found Dieudonne - Immaculate Events, and she put me at ease when I gave her my whole life story - before even telling her why I was reaching out lol. I just started a new job that was going to be demanding of my time, my daughter took over my old job so I was still training her, and of course everything else that comes with life made it where I had little left to devote to the planning. I didn’t just want it thrown together. From the first call - I immediately felt comfortable, confident, and excited about working with Dieudonne - I didn’t feel any need to interview anyone else. She LISTENED to everything (she should add “therapist” to her title lol), she was in tune with with the theme, vibe, color, and most of all what I wanted to pull off for my daughter whose journey to her wedding day - like many others - was rocked by 2020 events. She was able to put together great vendors, colors, decor, and she always knew what questions to ask that most people would say “I should’ve asked that question - I forgot” that played into the details. I am BIG on customer service - which falls in line with communication - and I was never left in the dark. She always kept me updated! I wish I could be as calm, cool, and awesome as she is! In closing - as a mom - even of adult children we hosted our kids events over the years, and we are too busy running around cleaning, setting up, and taking care of everyone during their celebrations. We also take pictures and videos through our phones or cameras. Next thing you know the event is over, and we feel like we missed half of it. Having a PROFESSIONAL, and most importantly an EXPERIENCED event planner - made it possible for me to relax and enjoy not just helping put the details together, but also being able to enjoy the day with my daughter. I cannot thank her enough because what may seem like something so trivial like “hiring a planner” to me it was so much more. I appreciated everything that she did. Never once did I feel like I wasn’t working with a friend or an extended family member. Every detail showed she was just as invested in the planning of this shower as if it were her own daughter - she made it an amazing experience! There was time pressure because of a short window in which to plan the event plus lots of coordination to manage (venu, caterer, valet services, table and tent rentals, audio/visual, florist, etc). Working with her was delightful because she understood exactly the mood and environment I wanted to create. The day of the event went flawlessly due to her graceful, expert management. Understanding what we had in mind to guiding us in picking the right vendors. At first it was a bit shaky because my now husband and I were so picky for the venue, once we found it I would say picking the other vendors were smooth sailing. We also had a budget, a bit flexible depending on what we actually wanted and willing to sacrifice for in another department. The flowers were a big deal for me and Dieudonne made sure my vision came through without breaking the bank. When there were hiccups along the way with other vendors she made sure to coordinate with them and help them. The day of the wedding she was remarkable. From having back up plans to a carryon full of "mishaps" products. She made the day go smoothly, and kept us on schedule. Daniel and I were raving about her to our guest because her hard work could not go unnoticed. My bridal were like "omg she's the bomb". I would say that finding the right wedding planner is as important as finding the perfect dress to walk down the isle in and I couldn't have asked for a better one.
