Fantastic experience: Kari is the most helpful wedding planner. My wedding went so smooth and she really made my extremely complicated vision a reality! We did a ton of diy and she was always a phone call away or a text me photos and hand selected the perfect accents! Love her and highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Have planned a few events with Kari from Ashdown Events! She's got an amazing vision when you're not sure how you want things to show up. All you have to do is tell her the vibe you're going for, budget, and any little touches that might be important to you. For this baby shower, we wanted a New Orleans/ French Quarter feel and I think she nailed it! She also helped me incorporate the little activities, like onesie painting, and of course, the bar for the adults to help me host the best baby shower of all time! She also knows the most amazing vendors - look at those flowers! And we were able to have beignets, in the middle of Los Angeles (!), because she found a reasonably priced and super high quality vendor. Thanks for making this a wonderful experience for everyone, Kari!

Fantastic experience: Kari was the coordinator for me and my wife's recent wedding. Kari is THAT woman you want in your corner and by your side for your wedding/event. She is punctual, a very clear and efficient communicator, and masterful coordinator, and was able to answer basically ALL of our questions. And we had a lot of them. Kari carried us through the process and took two people who didn't really know what they were doing (first timers haha) and turned us into a coordinated and cooperating team. The wedding and timeline went off amazingly, our set up and decor looked picture perfect, the ceremony went off without a hitch. Kari thought of so many things, and gave little directions and tips all along the way to make sure we did not mess up the things people "always mess up". Stuff you wouldn't even think about like which side of my bride's face my nose should be on for the first kiss. Just like every detail was thought of, every consideration that you'd never think of, Kari already has, and she's got a plan. She went what I would say was miles above and beyond for us, but I have a feeling that that's just her, that's just how amazing she is. Darn it now I am crying. Anyway, yeah, I can't recommend her enough, she is the real deal, the ally you want, and just a wonderful, stabilizing and calming influence. I would recommend her for any kind of wedding, event, or party you could want.

Fantastic experience: Kari is an absolutely amazing planner and person. She is wonderful to work with and I highly recommend her. She did an outstanding job with me and my new husband Patrick’s wedding recently and we couldn’t have done it without her. Fantastic experience: Kari planned and designed my destination wedding on Catalina Island at the Catalina Museum for Arts and History. It was a great day, the best in fact, because of Kari's thoughtfulness, organization and vision. (I may be a little biased about how great she is because she also married me at the wedding that she planned.) I have watched her plan weddings and events (and worked many of them with her as well) for the last seven years and she is always professional, comprehensive, and loves the clients and the work. Her focus is making your day perfect and it shows in every detail. Her feel for putting together the right vendor with the right client is really good too. She's just really good at what she does and she really cares. No detail is too small in making sure everything is smoothly organized and she is one step ahead of any problem. Like I said, biased, but I can't recommend her enough.

Fantastic experience: I think it was over a decade ago when I first saw an event Ashdown Events was involved in creating. Kari, the owner is one the best. She hand picks her crew for thier personality, production and creativity. I have attended a number of the events and they are always so well put together. They can create fancy or understated or very specific needs as you wish. She is so easy to work with and her skills are top notch! She can bring in a whole team for your big to-do or just a few can create a simple but perfect affair. I have watched her plan/produce/direct projects since she was a kid. Ashdown handles any style from rustic ranch to chic vintage, backyards to ballrooms or even enchanted museum - anything you name, they can do - and do it BETTER. Weddings and family events with personal detail and distinctive or business event, showcase or performance style, premiere, shower, fundraiser, birthday party, anniversary - you name it. If you wish they can be with you every step of the way. They can provide a variety of levels of service - from full planning and design to coordinating the big day.

She helped me with aspects of my wedding that would normally not be included in her job, but she truly cares about the bride and groom having their ideal wedding. I can’t thank her enough!!!

Fantastic experience: The best advice that I got for my daughter's wedding, was to hire Kari to help me get everything coordinated. She did an amazing job. I showed her my ideas and my daughter's favorite flowers and colors, and she created a beautiful setting for my daughter's Wedding. She helped me with setting up make up, hair stylists, photographer and videographer as well. The day came out perfect and was a most memorable day for all! Thank you!
