Fantastic experience: Before you read the rest of this heartfelt letter to our Carol, let me just cut to the chase to tell you The Blushing Details are the absolute best of the best. Carol and her team made our dreams come true by giving us, our friends, and our family a wedding of a lifetime. We enjoyed every minute and felt zero stress throughout the day as Carol and her team helped us navigate every possible obstacle (although there really weren't any because of how prepared we were). My wife and I both come from more traditional backgrounds, and we were breaking a lot of ground with quite a bit of non-traditional elements mixed in. Carol knew exactly how to balance between the two so that our families felt included and respected, while still making sure the wedding was authentically "us". Since the wedding, all of our families and friends--every single guest--have reached out just to tell us what an amazing and memorable night they had. Most have even been calling it their favorite wedding ever or their favorite wedding of the year. Carol, we can't thank you enough. Not only were you an absolute pleasure to work and collaborate with the whole way through, but you gave us exactly what we dreamed of. The wedding you put together not only brought our vision to life, but you changed the lives of everyone in our families by showing them what creativity and authenticity can accomplish.

Fantastic experience: I've worked with Carol twice now, once as a groomsman a few years back, and now as a groom. I can say that both events were executed extremely well. For my friend's wedding, she gave clear instructions for all of us in the bridal party and the timeline that was sent over was very well-laid out. For my wedding, we received similar professionalism. Carol, Belen, and Kimberly were on top of everything and made sure it all ran smoothly. So much so that we were actually ahead of schedule, giving us ample time to relax on our big day.

We brought Carol on early in our wedding planning process (a little over a year before we wanted to get married) because it was a particularly busy time for my husband and I. To say that having her in our corner brought a huge relief is an understatement! Not only is Carol professional and approachable, but she is a talented and creative Designer who was able to bring the look-and-feel we wanted for our wedding to life. Fantastic experience: My spouse and I are incredibly thankful for the Blushing Details team, especially Belen, our main coordinator, and her lovely assistants Eli and Cathy. We had a major death in the family in the middle of planning our wedding, and Belen and Carol were very accommodating and understanding of our situation and worked with us through that difficult time. Communication was simple enough and also professional, with periodic meetings to see where we were with planning and vendors. Again, I’m very grateful for Belen’s patience since I’m sort of the worst at responding, but she was always kind, and we were able to get a lot accomplished. The team was extremely helpful, from Cathy getting us much-needed food and drinks at the reception to Eli (so sweet!) keeping me company and hydrated while we waited for the ceremony to begin with a great conversation. Belen was a rock star and dealt with anything that came up with ease. We’re so grateful we had them there to make sure our wedding party and guests could enjoy the celebration and the stunning atmosphere the Blushing Details helped curate. Everyone was incredibly professional, punctual, and pleasant, and I loved that the team had a good time and seemed happy to be a part of celebrating with us. We got a lot of feedback from guests that the reception was beautiful, entertaining, and that they thought it was overall a great wedding and I want to give Belen and her team all the credit for that!

Fantastic experience: Carol is amazing!! Our wedding was perfect and we owe it to Carol and her team. She plans every detail, including things we never would have thought of on our own. She was with us every step of the way and happy to answer every question we had. On the day of the wedding when my wife’s bustle broke she pulled out thread and a needle and saved the day! We found Carol through mutual friends(who was a previous couple she worked with), and ever since meeting, she has been a delight to work with. We started correspondence very early on and she kept us on track even with our night shift schedules. Fantastic experience: I had the absolute pleasure of working with Carol for my wedding, and I cannot recommend her highly enough! From start to finish, she was an absolute dream to work with. From our first interview, she took the time to get to know us and our vision for our wedding. She asked us questions about our interests, our families, and our hopes for the day. We could tell our flower girls, who are normally terribly shy, were having a blast. Overall, I cannot thank Carol and her team enough for all that she did to make our wedding day so special. She is truly talented at what she does, and she made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. Fantastic experience: It’s taken us 6 months to write this review, because we're still on a dream wedding cloud. We hired Carol to be our wedding coordinator and it was the best decision we ever made. Carol is meticulous, thoughtful and truly passionate about the work she does. I am a control freak, but I completely released control to Carol knowing that it was all in good hands. Carol really took time to get to know us as a couple and understand what is important to us not just on that day but in general. She kept all the vendors, especially the venue, organized and reminded them of things they needed to do. It was so helpful to have her expertise and recommendations for vendors because they are all top-notch; but even they benefited from her skills. I am so grateful for Carol’s support during it all because 2 weeks prior to the wedding, my brain could no longer process details. She really is a master at what she does and worth every dime because we truly got to enjoy our wedding as we should have, and our guests were so impressed at how organized everything was. All our guests felt well taken care of, which meant the world to us because we wanted everyone to enjoy the day as much as we did. They're still talking about that day.

Fantastic experience: We hired Carol just 9 months out from our wedding date. All we had booked was our venue and we had pretty much no idea where to start with all the rest! I was worried about the timeline since I knew everyone was having their post-pandemic weddings, but Carol assured us she could help us get it all done in time. She definitely delivered! We wanted to have a celestial themed wedding and Carol understood our vision right away. She has a great network of vendors and was able to find us the perfect people for everything from our photographer to our florist to our photobooth. She took almost all the stress out of wedding planning and designed the most beautiful wedding for us. We and all our guests had the best time at our wedding and we couldn’t have done it without Carol and her team!

Fantastic experience: Belen is, by far, one of the best and most professional coordinators there is. We hired her to work as the day-of coordinator for our wedding. After having to postpone for two years because of the COVID-19 pandemic, we were so incredibly worried and stressed about it going well. My wife is a certified event planner and she needed someone who could execute her meticulously planned vision. With Belen, we were not disappointed. We were overjoyed. She gave us a sense of stability and calm during a time when all we could feel was anxiety and worry, with the help of her assistant Cathy. Belen was so incredibly organized. She was flexible and steadfast. She displayed grace under fire. When problems came up with one of our other vendors, she handled the situation with poise and precision that can only come from expertise and mastery of her craft. We didn't even know that a problem had occurred at all until we heard about it a few days later. To us, we had a perfect wedding. Everything that we had always dreamed of. And it would not have been possible without Belen. You could not ask for a better coordinator.

Fantastic experience: We hired Carol for partial wedding planning. She was wonderful helping put our ideas into a cohesive vision, then helping us find vendors that fit our vibe and our budget. Fantastic experience: Belen from The Blushing Details and us never knew what we had coming when we originally booked our wedding for 3/14/20. With the shock of state-wide safety mandates, we were forced to postpone our wedding just 3 nights before our big day. Belen and Carol worked closely with us as we navigated through incredible times of uncertainty, stress, and fear. We were finally able to celebrate our big day with all of our loved ones on 11/19/21. Belen stayed in touch with us the entire time in between, 1 year and 8 months, and made us feel like we were in great hands as we planned our wedding from out of state. Once the big day arrived, we couldn't have wished for more. Belen and her team were incredibly warm, personable and on top of every single detail. They made us feel like there was absolutely nothing to worry about and made decisions on the go as necessary. Our wedding at The Ebell Long Beach was beyond what we imagined and there's nothing we would do differently. If Belen and her team can manage surviving a pandemic-postponed wedding and making it come a reality post-pandemic, they can do ANYTHING!

Fantastic experience: The Blushing Details was a fabulous choice for coordinating my wedding! I worked with Carol directly for the majority of the wedding planning, and Carol brought two assistants with her the day of the wedding to make sure everything ran as smoothly as possible. Due to COVID complications, I changed wedding venues a month before my wedding, which understandably added so much stress and last minute planning to everything. Carol went above and beyond to make sure that nothing was missed and that my wedding went off without a hitch. Carol was so organized, and it was so great to be able to take a breath and relax while getting ready that morning, knowing Carol and her assistants had everything handled. They made sure everything was set up perfectly, coordinated all the vendors with zero issues, made sure the groom and I didn't accidentally see each other before walking down the aisle, stepped in to help with things like the money dance and the bouquet toss, and made sure all my DIY decor was packed up safe and sound at the end of the night! A box of decor I rented from the bakery was accidentally left behind at the venue, and Carol took the lead on helping me find the box and making sure it made it back to the bakery, even offering to drive to get it and deliver it--all after the wedding was over and her job was done. She is a genuinely sweet person who clearly loves what she does, and I cannot say enough good things about hiring her. You definitely won't regret it!

She not only took care of us during our special day but our families. There were no hiccups during our wedding day and if there was, we definitely didn't hear about it. Fantastic experience: Carol Carol Carol! That's the name you need when you're planning your wedding or if you're looking for a day-of coordinator. Finding the Blushing Details was one of the BEST decisions I've made for our wedding. Carol was super responsive and so wonderful to work with. She guides you every step of the way and she is organized (which every bride needs for the big day). I really appreciated her questionnaires and worksheets because it allows you to be on top of everything leading up to the big day. Carol and her team made everything go smoothly, from dropping off items at the venue to keeping antsy family members in check. Her and her team were all friendly and professional. Weddings can be hectic, but with Carol and her team, it made it so much enjoyable. She made sure me and the groom had water, food, etc. She really took care of us from the beginning till the end of the wedding. Highly recommend!!

Negative experience: My husband and I got married in May and I'm finally ready to share my experience with hiring Blushing Details. We hired Blushing Details 9 months before our wedding and multiple concerns and red flags come up throughout the process. Not only did we receive very poor communication from our wedding planner but so did our vendors. My now husband and I attempted to bring this to their attention and the concerns we had but not much was done to fix the issues we experienced. We were informed that once we booked the venue, everything else would be planned by our planner. This never happened. We were forced to find majority of our own vendors because they insisted on waiting so long before beginning to find vendors for us which left me extremely stressed out. When she did send us a few vendor options, it was completely out of our budget and when we informed her of this, we were informed that we would need to choose one of those vendors or be charged $150 an hour to search for other vendors. Here's a small list of a other things that went horribly wrong due to Blushing details. 1. The night before our wedding, we learned that our wedding planner had given every one of our vendors and wedding party the wrong address to our hotel. 2. My hair and makeup artist did not receive correct information regarding the timeline. This caused my makeup artist to have to leave early in the middle of us all getting ready and me having to rectify my wedding planners mistakes. 3. Wedding planner blatantly lied to us on the day of our wedding about our wedding flowers. She blamed the florist for not bringing all the flowers we wanted. We later learned she lied to us and made the decision herself that we shouldn't have the flowers without communicating with us. 4. The entire seating arrangement was changed without our knowledge or approval. This left my family to be seated in the worst area at our reception. This is just a fraction of our bad experience. I highly encourage you to hire someone else. *Edit: It is quite disheartening to see the response below filled with excuse after excuse. This was not just any event. This is a wedding. For many, a once in a lifetime event that many dream of since childhood. What should matter most is the couples satisfaction of the services not the 1 or 2 vendors who might have given you positive feedback (which were vendors I brought in and had no idea of what had happened). Please just do better for any of your future couples.

Carol & her team coordinated every detail of our wedding day & brought it to life. Fantastic experience: I could never find the words to describe how memorable and how extraordinary our wedding was. It was a "you had to be there" experience. Carol is amazing to work with and very professional from Day 1. We had ideas we wanted to link together and Carol was able to aesthetically recreate our vision for both the ceremony and reception within a reasonable budget. We were involved through the planning process and had the layout in our mind. She has very good taste and her experience allows her to improvise on decorations, schedules, and any acts of god that may throw a wrench in your plans. The execution and coordination between vendors was perfect and well improvised. Id reserve my highest recommendation for Carol and her Team for not only coordinating the best highlight of my life but taking our vision and going beyond our expectations. It was truly a surprise walk-in to our first look of the reception and the ceremony. Hope that if you select her as your coordinator and planner that you also create an experience like ours.

Fantastic experience: We were lucky to have Carol from the beginning of our wedding planning journey. She is by far the first and one of the best decisions we made. She was with us through the whole process, completely understood that we knew nothing about wedding planning, and answered questions in a reasonable timeframe. She is very detailed oriented and she made sure her vendor recommendations matched our vision for the wedding. On the day of our wedding, Carol and Belen made it so that I did not have to worry about one tiny detail. Carol even added small touches throughout that really helped elevate the event. Carol was even our officiant and she made everything so light hearted, genuine, and relaxed that we could just be present with one another. Our wedding was everything we could have wanted and more – so much so that I forgot to add that our wedding was during COVID. Carol is an exceptionally talented wedding coordinator which is why she was spectacular as we navigated a pandemic and the health restrictions to follow. She was supportive throughout the whole process and three months before our wedding, Carol was there with us to locate a new venue and recreate a new vision. If Carol can navigate a pandemic, ever changing health guidelines, last minute vendor changes, and the all emotional bride – she can take on anything that your wedding can throw at her.

I'm such a type A personality that I needed to have complete control over everything in my wedding. Carol advised me that while planning may sound easy, having someone to handle the "day-of" coordination would be beneficial. Boy was she right! Having Carol and her team there helped my husband and I enjoy the day and not have to stress about all the mishaps. The best part about it? She was available for consultations throughout the planning process. She joined us for tastings, gave great advice and had wonderful references as well. The other vendors I hired spoke so highly of her. They each appreciated her high level of professionalism in her work. And I have to add, she did it modestly. I had to hire a coordinator with my church who was being fairly unreasonable. Carol dealt with her with more poise and respect that I would have and I can't thank her enough for it. Fantastic experience: Once we decided to have our wedding at a family home, we knew that we needed a planner who could also help us come up with a cohesive design. We had some non-traditional ideas about what we wanted for our wedding, and we were looking for someone who could help us execute. We worked with Carol for the better part of a year. She helped us put together the most incredible team of vendors who all worked seamlessly together and were all a perfect fit to create the vibe we were going for. She acted as the intermediary between us and the vendors and kept us on track throughout the planning process. Despite being warned, we really didn’t know how complicated or stressful wedding planning would be - especially at a family home. Carol made sure we figured everything out - even the stuff we had no idea we had to figure out! She was super accessible and responsive throughout the whole planning process. Carol also created a cohesive aesthetic design that brought everything together - something we were really looking for direction on. As we approached the actual wedding, Belen stepped in as the Coordinator. She created a detailed plan and timeline for the day of the wedding to ensure all of the logistics were handled. The day of the wedding, Belen, Carol, and their team handled everything. We (and our families - homeowners included) were able to enjoy the day completely without having to worry about anything. Desperately need water? They are on it. Run out of cups? Twice? Taken care of. Many of the compliments that we received fell into three categories: (1) the flow of the evening was great - there wasn’t any awkward amount of time spent waiting for the next “thing.” (2) Everything was beautiful in each of the spaces (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception). (3) The overall feel and vibe of the wedding was personal, special, and so much fun. None of this would have been achieved without Carol, Belen, and the entire Blushing Details team. After spending so much time, energy, and stress planning a single day event, walking away thinking it was better than you ever could have hoped for is an amazing feeling. That would not have been possible without Carol, Belen, and their team. We are almost tempted to do it all again!

Belen was my main point of contact and lead coordinator but Carol stayed involved and made herself available throughout the entire process - both of these ladies are talented beyond belief and incredibly easy to work with! No detail went overlooked and my wedding day went more smoothly than I could have ever imagined. So many of my guests have told me that our wedding was the best wedding they have ever been to and that everything was not only beautiful but perfectly timed and organized - which was 100% Belen and Carol! She was communicative every step of the way by helping me select vendors, and she was readily available especially as things were ramping up. We had a 200-person wedding, 2 locations between ceremony and reception and thanks to her orchestration, we didn't miss a beat. I couldn't have envisioned the day without her.
