Fantastic experience: Sarah Wright was an AMAZING wedding planner!!!! Just a few days before my wife and I's wedding, we found out it was going to rain heavily, and we had an outdoor wedding planned. Sarah immediately knew what to do and got us another great venue! She went above and beyond to make our day great! You will love this woman, and she will do everything in her power to make you happy!

Fantastic experience: Sarah was really great at helping us plan our wedding. She located and recommended great vendors and venues. She came the day before so we could do a rehearsal and make sure everything was in order. We also did our flowers through her services and they were beautiful!

Negative experience: We tried to plan our wedding with Sarah a year ago. Ended up paying her $500 for doing nothing. Leaves everything to the last minute and doesn't particularly offer peace of mind.

I actually didn’t leave anything until last minute. I had everything handled and under control. There are a lot of things that go into a wedding behind the scenes that you don’t know about. We had an appointment scheduled to meet in person that you decided to cancel. The only reason you lost $500 was because you decided to cancel the services and that was the portion that wasn’t refundable. I had the permit transferred into your name so you still got the resident rate (my discounted price) which saved you $300 so technically you only “lost” $200 and trust me, I put a lot of time into the details leading up to you canceling that you may not have realized. This wedding was scheduled for over a year ago so not sure why you would have posted this now!

Fantastic experience: Sarah and her staff were absolutely fantastic to work with. From beginning to end, Sarah promptly returned all my calls, texts and emails. She and her team were professionalism at its best and were such a pleasure to work with. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and always happy to answer any questions. She took care of all the planning details for me and made sure I didn’t worry about anything. She made certain that our wedding day was perfect in every way. Sarah genuinely cared about making our day the best experience for us.

Fantastic experience: We went from wanting an exotic elopement to having a small wedding with close family and friends and found ourselves overwhelmed with the options knowing only our wedding date, 6 months from when we made the decision not to elope. We found Sarah at Everlasting Memories after a failed attempt to have an online consultation with another wedding planner. We planned our wedding from over 6,000 miles away, so we needed someone who could work from afar, online and via phone reliably and Sarah was just that. We emailed numerous times, Skyped and chatted on the phone, on small and big issues and she helped us put together our 35 guest wedding with only six months and staying pretty close to our original budget. It’s also important to know, as a couple we had more of an idea of what we didn’t want than what we wanted – having not really envisioned a more traditional wedding at all. Sarah was patient with our indecision on certain issues, and reminded us when things were coming due so we weren’t caught behind schedule. One of the first things we told Sarah was that we didn’t want to pick from more than two or three options with any particular thing – and for us, getting friends and family together was more important than any small detail. We used Sarah primarily for the ceremony venue, and she also assisted us in finding some vendors for our reception (flowers & cake), however the on-site event planner for our reception was separate but they did communicate and work well together on different items. Sarah was quick to provide information when the square we initially requested for our ceremony wasn’t available so we could make an informed choice for another area. When the groom visited Savannah about 3 months before the wedding, she met with him and his parents and walked through some options. They determined that our second choice in park was nice, but traffic noise would be too loud for our intimate ceremony and she very quickly provided us a few options for alternate locations that would better meet our needs and wants, and made the change with the city. We appreciated we never had to worry about the park permits, the required security, chairs, etc… and her willingness to be our surrogate with payments to other vendors (cake, music, photographer) made life very easy for us. Sarah guided our two officiants (close friends of ours) and didn’t bat an eyelash at some of our unconventional arrangements. The day of – everything went seamlessly and we really appreciated Sarah’s forethought and advice that made the day of memorable only for the best reasons! Her vendor contacts were great (although we haven’t seen our photos yet, we’re certain we’ll be pleased with the results and loved working with her recommended photographer). We had a wonderful event with Sarah’s guidance, advice and hard work. She knows Savannah, helped us find vendors who could work well with us from afar and had the right energy to keep us motivated without drowning in the details. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I am the owner of Rustik Image Photo+Cinema. My husband and I have worked with Everlasting Memories many times. I cannot put in enough words to tell how dedicated Sarah is to all of her brides and grooms. She is early to rise and late to stay making sure everything is perfect. I've never seen anyone go above and beyond they she does. Her goal is making sure your day runs smoothly to the very best of her ability and more. She has so much passion for the work she does. I am happy to work with her every chance I get! Everlasting Memories is one very our preferred vendors.

Negative experience: Sarah was the most stressful and most embarrassing part of our wedding day. I thought long and hard about what I wanted to include in this review and it's now almost 4am because it has been keeping me awake. I could list all of the ways that she failed us as our planner but it would simply take too long and I don't feel she deserves that much of my time. She got more than enough of our money. When my friend that is a wedding planner in Nashville told me that she was overcharging me for the amount of work she was doing for us, I should have listened. I will say that the straw(s) that broke the camel's back for me were: 1) the fact that she didn't even spell my, now, husband's name correctly in her "congratulations" post (that just shows how little she cared to know us) 2) the fact that each of our 14 guests took the time to comment on her. The words they used to describe her were "ridiculous", "rude", and even "unkempt". (one even jokingly asked if I found her on Groupon) and 3) that she completely destroyed the music during the ceremony even though my groom showed her 3 different times how to operate his phone which was her suggestion on where to keep the music. There was no waiting music for our guests. My MOH walked down the aisle to silence. AND, I walked down the aisle to SNOOP DOGG "AINT NOTHING BUT A G THING" instead of a Pride and Prejudice instrumental that was labeled "carrie's walk out". Absolutely mortifying. We also didn't have music to walk out to after the officiant (which I feel was her one real success: booking him) pronounced us husband and wife. She was in such a hurry to leave afterwards that she pulled chairs that our family members were still sitting in while taking photos. She didn't even ask us if we needed anything before she bounced. I received a "sorry I didn't get a chance to say bye" TEXT two days later. If you want to do all the work, find and confirm all your own vendors, and overpay for impersonal crap service, she's your girl. Since reading this review on Facebook, she has yet to reach out to us but she has made it so that brides can no longer review her and you can't see any of her previous reviews. Shady business. P.S. I found her on FB where her reviews were very good when I booked however I should have paid more attention because many of the reviews were from vendors and not actual brides. In addition, I went to post this review on another website and saw her prices. Based on that, she overcharged us as well since I found and booked every vendor outside of the officiant. The florist she originally recommended called me a week before the wedding to tell me she couldn't get the flowers that she had recommended so we wound up going with one that I found on the knot and asked for a quote from after Sarah told me she would get quotes and months later I followed up and she still hadn't done so.

Negative experience: Sarah was AWFUL! She doesn't even deserve one star!!!!! I had an elopement wedding in Georgia. The months of her planning my wedding were beyond stressful! I had booked the wedding and sent her $500, she told me that she would let me know when she received it since I live out of town. I didn't hear from her for three weeks, when I emailed her she told me she "forgot to let me know" that she got it. I would email and call her to ask about wedding details and she would never respond to text, emails, or phone calls. She "lost" my cell phone number multiple times and would say she would call me but would "forget." Finally I told my husband I wasn't going to deal with her anymore and I thought she was a scam artist. He dealt with her the rest of the time but she would always play us against each other. I told my husband's sister I didn't think she was legitimate, She emailed Sarah and asked her to have an elopement wedding the same date, time, and place as mine. Sarah said yes and that she would double book! We still have the emails! Sarah was always rude on the phone to us and acted like we were wasting her time. I told her I wanted to meet the day before the wedding and she acted like it was really inconvenient for her. Also, one of the first things I bought was a cake topper, she charged me $100 for a cake and she was going to charge me more money for flowers which on her website said they were included. The day before my wedding I reminded her of the cake topper and she started yelling saying she didn't know about that and wasn't prepared. I told her that was one of the first things I told her. Then during the wedding she asked me to text her my mailing address so the photographer could mail our pictures. I sent her my address and four weeks later my mother-in-law reached out to the photographer. She said that she was glad we found her because Sarah NEVER gave her our mailing address! Sarah told us that she had another bigger wedding next to our thirty minutes after and she rushed our wedding pictures, didn't stay for the wedding. We got married under a tree and she put our cake in the one spot that didn't have shade!!!! Our cake melted and we have pictures to prove it! She is an awful person and I would never recommend her! I WILL BE REPORTING HER TO THE BBB.

Fantastic experience: You will not find another wedding planner to go above and beyond as Sarah Wright does. The venues love working with her!

Fantastic experience: Sarah Wright was my husband and I's wedding coordinator. She was absolutely amazing, and I would recommend her to anyone planning to get married in Savannah. We live in Jacksonville, FL, so to say she made it easy planning a destination wedding is an understatement. She was so well-informed on basically any question I had or any family members had. We even had a little bit of "drama" (but it's a wedding, so we all know that was inevitable) with some family members, yet she was magnificent in not only handling the situations perfectly, but our wedding day went so well! I truly believe she was the reason! My husband and I had the best time at our wedding, thank you so much Sarah! We will be forever grateful!
