Even when our DJ had to change last minute, she handled it and got us a new one before I even knew about it — which saved me a LOT of stress. (She even did a booger-check for my now-husband before he walked down the aisle lol.) Fantastic experience: Incredible! We used Megan for her Day of Coordination and our day went so smoothly. I knew I wanted to do the planning, but day of, you have to have a team. She was coordinating vendors, setting up the spaces, making sure the music played correctly, making sure everyone knew where to be and when. I’m so glad that I, and my guests, didn’t have to worry about a thing. She was also an incredible resource to turn to with questions that came up. Who typically does the readings? What are we missing? Who do we contact about booking that? My favorite moment that perfectly captures how valuable Megan was for my wedding: I’d been worrying about a certain detail for DAYS. When I brought it up to Megan on a call, she said, “oh yeah. I already dealt with that. Problem solved.” I was so grateful.

Fantastic experience: Megan and her team--well worth the price! My husband and I hosted our daughter's wedding in Savannah, with ceremony on Isle of Hope and reception at Olde Pink House. Megan's timeline of events kept everything flowing smoothly. The team was available at both locations. They coordinated with the bakery for the cake, the church for available hours, the decor at the restaurant, the florist, and the photographer. They even checked the couple into the bridal suite and dropped off their luggage. These seemingly effortless tasks were done with smiles and celebration. The parents and the bridal party could appreciate the event, without stressing about the details. It was a small wedding, and I had assumed that we wouldn't need a planner, but Megan and her team were a welcome addition that made this occasion perfect. Highly recommend.

Even with a looming hurricane on our wedding weekend, she was able to help make the time as stress free as humanly possible while months of planning was finally coming together. Fantastic experience: Megan was our day of coordinator for our wedding on 3.1.24 and she’s was so professional, detail oriented, considerate and amazing. It ended up raining all day when we had a rooftop wedding planned at The Peregrin. I was nervous about the rain but Megan swooped into action and made the venue of my dreams in the library downstairs. Everyone was coming up to us just gushing at how amazing Megan was. Fantastic experience: At our (big, beautiful, gay) wedding, multiple guests came up to us to say that our wedding planner was incredible. And they were absolutely right. On your wedding day, Megan will make sure you remember just how meaningful your marriage is, while also anticipating and handling every single logistical detail that you could possibly imagine. You'll wonder how someone handling the most stressful details of your wedding can have such a beautiful and calming presence. Just hours before our wedding, Megan worked directly with my sister to find a last-minute babysitter. She then drove all around Savannah getting dollar bills for guests to tip our drag queen. She brought not one but two assistants to every event, which our other vendors said was very rare. Megan can, and will, do anything. We're so grateful for Megan, and you will be too.

Fantastic experience: Megan is superwoman! It's been a few months since I got married and my family and I still talk about how wonderful her and her team are! I can say that I am a very controlling and type A when it comes to most things, and I always thought I would be a mess during the wedding planning process, but Megan allowed me to step back and just enjoy being engaged. Fantastic experience: In fall 2019, Megan was the planner/inspiration for our beautiful, perfect wedding in Statesboro, GA. It just so happened the week of our wedding, a tropical storm was blowing through and we needed to accommodate 125 people at an outdoor botanical gardens venue. Three days before the wedding Megan was able to secure the right accommodations and a huge tent to make sure it all went off without a hitch, and it did! Despite all the obstacles, Megan and her team ensured that our rehearsal dinner and wedding day went perfect. We didn’t even notice the rain and in many ways, Megan made the rain a POSITIVE that day. I couldn’t imagine the experience without her with us all along the way. I will never forget the part she played in one of the most special days of our life! You won’t go wrong with choosing her, she makes magic happen and absolutely nothing gets in her way!

Fantastic experience: We had our first wedding with Megan and her team a few weeks ago and OH.MY. GOSH. The whole weekend went extremely smooth. She communicated well with everyone and made our job super easy- we were able to focus on our job. Despite having almost a monsoon all weekend, she maintain her composure and had such a great mood about all the mud. The big thing that stood out the most for us is how much our couple loved her. You can tell they trusted her 100%. I can’t say enough how professional she is but mostly how personable she is with her couples, listening to all of their needs!

Fantastic experience: It has been six months (July 2021) since my wedding day and I wanted to save the best review for last. I can’t say enough about Megan and her team (especially our beloved Daniel). We met Megan through a planning company she was working for and knew she was the one. At the time, we didn’t even have a full vision, but from what we shared she already had vendors we would be interested in and great suggestions even as we were only signing up for partial planning. Then the pandemic hit and seemingly turned everything upside down. My partner and I went back and forth deciding on whether or not to keep our original date, knowing that Savannah didn’t have as strict of restrictions. But ultimately, we decided safety first and decided to postpone. While the some summer dates were appealing, we knew we wanted to work with Megan no matter what, so we decided our new date based on her schedule. Ultimately, things changed for her and she took the bold and admirable step to create this company that I now review. Luckily, we were able to work something out with the original planning company and continue to work with Megan through Megan Elizabeth Events. During the transition and uncertainty of whether we would be able to continue to work with her, Megan displayed so much professionalism and great customer service showing how much people meant at the core of what she was building. Fast forward to three months before our big day, Megan and Daniel kicked into gear and presented so many ideas and small details that ended up being so important and amazing on our big day. The night before my wedding was so chaotic for non-planning related and uncontrollable reasons, to the point where I missed my own rehearsal, but Megan and Daniel held it down with my wedding party and prioritized communicating only the most important things to prevent me from having anymore pre-wedding stress. The day of was absolutely flawless. It even rained right before my outdoor ceremony, but Megan and Daniel handled everything and my guests were left in awe of how fast they orchestrated a flip of the reception ballroom into a ceremony site, almost identical to the prior outdoor set-up. Many friends had their postponed weddings in 2021 and they shared that I was the only one whose wedding basically started on time, even with having to flip my reception area. I learned so much from Megan and Daniel myself, that I was able to take lessons I learned from the way they smoothly coordinated my wedding and use those approaches to help another friend’s wedding coordination. All in all, if you read nothing else. Hire them. It will be the best decision if you want to have the best day of your life.
