Fantastic experience: When we first got engaged, we were entirely overwhelmed with the process and didn’t understand where we would even get started. Enter Kate and her amazing crew! Kate’s process helped us to create a day that truly felt like us. Every detail was taken care of, no stone was left unturned, and we felt the care and intentionality from the whole team the entire step of the way. When our wedding venue was hit by the May 16th tornado just three weeks before our wedding day, Kate became not only our planner, but our superhero and advocate as everything got shifted over to our new venue. Walking into our reception was like walking into a dream! Kate is a master at her craft and I cannot recommend her highly enough, thank you Kate!!

Without Kate, Eli and Kimmy, our November 2023 wedding would have been a lot less spectacular (and a lot less organized!). From day 1, way back in Spring 2022, Kate understood exactly our intentions for our big day. Coming out of the Pandemic, it was important to us to have the biggest celebration where friends and family could come together from all over the country for the first time in years. Kate heard our desires and ran with it to design the most epic day! Every detail designed by Kate - down to the beautiful tablecloths - was incredible. Additionally, she was able to introduce us to vendors that were *perfect* matches for us for all of our needs, like photography, hair/makeup, etc. About 1/3 of the way into our planning, Eli joined Kate & Company and jumped right in to helping us execute our big day. Eli is amazing. Her attention to detail, organizational skills and genuine personality are the best. We truly loved working with her. She understood our preferences and desires and never tried to stray us away from what felt true to "us" as a couple. For the day of our wedding, Kimmy jumped in and handled all of the behind the scenes details. She's a rockstar! As a bride, I truly think giving yourself the gift of Kate & Company services is a must. With Kate, Eli and Kimmy's expertise, I felt no stress through the entire process preparing for our big day. Fantastic experience: We worked with Kate & Co. for our wedding back in May and we were thrilled with our experience. Kate's eye for design and Kimmy's planning and implementation made for an unforgettable wedding that was absolutely beautiful. Fantastic experience: I wish I could give Kate & Co infinity stars. The hands-down best wedding decision we made (and one of my all time best decisions, other than the choice of groom!). From top to bottom, Kate & Co ensures your event will be perfection. Their professionalism, talent, organization, communication and compassion are top notch. Event genuises. Our wedding was previously planned for during what ended up being in the midst of the pandemic in spring of 2020 - Kate & Co. did so much to move the date to months later and significantly downside given the Covid restrictions at the time. I am not sure our wedding would have happened without them. They were on top of everything and focused on making our wedding amazing, but also respectful of our vision and wishes. Could not recommend them more. Simply incredible people.

Fantastic experience: I cannot speak highly enough of Kate and her entire team. We worked closely with Kimmy & Kate for our winter Chicago wedding and they are literally the BEST of the BEST. They took care of EVERYTHING and ensured every single detail of our wedding day went smoothly. From research to contract review to vendor recommendations/ communication to every single detail in between all was executed to perfection. Their recommendations and intuitions were always spot on and I can truly say they nailed our vision, we had 0 concerns leading up to our big day and fully trusted them to deliver like they always do! There came a point in the process where we couldn’t even make a decision unless we ran it by Kate and Kimmy because that’s how much we valued their opinion. Kimmy is a literal logistics queen and the most positive person I’ve ever met. She was a breath of fresh air on the day of our wedding and didn’t leave our side once. (Bouncing between mine and my husbands hotel rooms) ensuring everything was running according to schedule and no task was too big or small. She is also the bow tieing queen and one of the most amazing humans. While I can go on and on about how great the Kate & Co team is I highly encourage anyone who is even considering hiring a wedding planner to hire Kate & her team and see for yourself! Fantastic experience: I've had the pleasure of working with Kate, Kimmy and the entire Kate & Company team for over a decade. As an entertainment vendor, I get the "behind the scenes" experience. Kate and her staff are a rarity in the luxury wedding industry. No ego, super genuine, fun while also being the most detail-oriented on the scene. Fantastic experience: This is my family’s third wedding with Kate and Company and they continuously exceeded our expectations. Fantastic experience: Absolute experts at everything weddings and design—and this was clear from the moment we met them. We chose them for our wedding March 5 2022 because we wanted planning and day of to be stress free and we wanted an experience that was custom to us. This was by far the best decision we made. They created an experience from start to finish that was unique and personal to us. Their recommendations for vendors were spot on and streamlined—they knew the perfect fit for our needs. They guided us through everything and had great insights and advice on how to make it the best experience for ourselves, our family, our guests. Fantastic experience: Kate and Company truly has the best people in the business working hard to bring your special day to life, and they clearly enjoy doing it. Kate was a good friend from college. I knew her well before Kate and Company existed but never would have doubted she would create the thoughtful and dedicated company that bears her name. They gave us as much control as we wanted, giving us space to experiment and sort through ideas on our own. The end product was a day of incredible memories we will never forget that we felt we had a personal hand in creating with as little stress as you would expect for a wedding. The bonus was the new friendships we found in and through Kate and Company. Given all her dedication we witnessed for our own wedding, there is clearly a reason she has some of the strongest connections in the industry. And her experience in the space is second to none. I would not hesitate to ask Kate and Company to help with any event in our future and trust them completely. We are beyond grateful we had the opportunity to work with them to bring our special day to life.

Fantastic experience: We have used Kate & Co twice now for 2 beautifully executed events! First, our wedding was a dual event (abroad ceremony and local reception). She was extremely helpfully in sourcing French vendors for the ceremony and handled everything for the reception. She beautifully executed our vision to bring France and the memories from our ceremony to St. Louis to share with all our friends and family. I was so excited to work with Kate a second time for my husbands surprise 30th Birthday party. It all started with a clever theme that she ran with to execute a fun celebration for our friends. Fantastic experience: Kate and Company did an excellent job of planning me and my husband’s wedding. We originally planned to have a large wedding with close to 300 guests but due to Covid, we opted to scale down our guest list considerably. Not only was the Kate and Company team supportive of this decision, but they made the transition of what our new vision would look like seem effortless. Definitely not an easy task when scaling down to only 18 guests. Our intimate day was nothing but a dream come true. From the flowers to the decor to the incredible food, our day was truly unforgettable. I feel like any need or want was met with grace and executed perfectly. Kate and Company did such an incredible job of honoring our guests’ requests to feel safe and comfortable during a global pandemic. This made the planning process much more enjoyable and less stressful. Not only is the team professional, but also extremely communicative and honestly made my husband and I feel like we were the only clients they were working with at the time. My husband and I often reminisce on our special day, and we owe a lot of our wonderful memories to the Kate and Company team. I recommend Kate and Company ten fold to anyone who is planning a wedding or even just a special event of some kind. Fantastic experience: Kate and her team helped put on a spectacular wedding for my wife and me. Really, they helped plan two weddings - the original one then the second version to deal with COVID! Through the entire (very trying) process they were available, affable, and able. We had many very unique aspects of our plan with specific guest needs, aesthetic considerations, a sizeable group, and complicated planning considerations but they handled it all like it was just another day at the office. We can confidently say that our wedding would not have been the smash hit (and equally safe!) without their help. If you are thinking about having a team help plan a wedding, you'd be silly not to call Kate!

Fantastic experience: There truly isn't enough space in this review section nor enough adjectives to accurately describe how incredibly magnificent this company is! Kate and her team of wedding specialist are hands down the best in the business. If you are looking for a planner, search no more, you have stumbled upon the best.TRUST ME!!! My husband and I loved and appreciated every step of our planning process and our Big Day! We joke that if we could have our wedding once a month, we totally would! Our family is still raving about the level of professionalism and warmth that Kate and her team provided. From start to finish they were intentional, prompt, thoughtful, considerate, efficient, solution focused and creative. We planned a very intimate and personalized wedding in 6.5 months. Yes you heard me, 6.5 months!!! That's like two weeks in the wedding world. I should add that we planned our domestic destination wedding in Vail, Colorado (A place we had never been prior to our venue walkthrough /tasting visit), with Kate in St. Louis, Me in LA and my Husband in NYC (clearly your location doesn't matter, they can handle it). I know that sounds like a lot, well it is a lot. However, I never felt the weight of the nuanced logistical dynamic that we were in. I always felt like Kate was right by my side. Be it our budget meetings, virtual concept/design meetings or our weekly check-in calls, Kate always felt so close. Kate has a knack for understanding and speaking the language of the couple. My husband is “data” driven and I am all about the “feels” … Kate found a way to present all information in a way that met each of our personal communication styles. That is so helpful as you navigate difficult conversations while planning. Having a planner that was mindful of the two of us made planning seamless. Our wedding day was a dream come true. Each detail bespoke to who we are as a couple. Each moment felt so intimate, special and the design was drop dead gorgeous!!!! Kate found a way to make our intimate wedding a weekend experience fit for Royals. We are eternally grateful for Kate, Kimmy, Jill and the entire City Blocks crew ( yes.. We had a private culinary team :) swoon..). Kate will make your wedding dreams come true. She is realistic, a stickler for etiquette and has an eye for details, all things stationery, classic and chic. You will not be disappointed by choosing her as your planner. In fact you will be blown away!
