Fantastic experience: I live in Texas and planned a destination wedding in Colorado in 2019 with no idea where to begin. Laura was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She helped coordinate our wedding, suggested dinner plans and photo locations, and also served as our photographer on the big day. Everything turned out beautifully, and I was so grateful for her guidance and support. Seven years later, after realizing I had lost our wedding photos due to phone changes and an iCloud issue, I reached out to Laura on a long shot to see if she might still have them. To my surprise and excitement, she did! Thanks to her, we were able to recover our original wedding photos while celebrating our seven-year anniversary back in Colorado. Laura’s professionalism, kindness, and dedication—even years later—truly mean so much. I can’t recommend her services enough!

Fantastic experience: Laura made learning a dance for our wedding easy and fun! From the first lesson, she took our input and informed our decisions with her experience, helping to turn our vague idea of what we wanted for our first dance into a full choreographed song edited to match our needs! She worked with us to get us comfortable with the individual dance moves that made up our choreography, then helped us put them all together. We did the 10 class package and I highly recommend it as it helped us to learn and practice at a reasonable pace during the three months leading up to our wedding. I'd recommend Laura to couples looking to make their first dance special and surprise their guests with how good it is!

Fantastic experience: My daughter selected L.Elizabeth Weddings & Events as her wedding planner for her wedding in Vail, CO, and choose the part-time package. From the moment we started working with Laura, she was professional and responsive. Even though we did not utilize the full package, her involvement made a huge difference and gave us peace of mind. She simply stepped in where it mattered most. She created less stress and more joy. On the wedding day itself, we essentially vanished into the background as guests of honor, while Laura quietly orchestrated everything. Fantastic experience: My husband and I worked with Laura to choreograph our first dance, and it was one of the best parts of our wedding planning! Over the course of 10 lessons, Laura not only taught us how to find rhythm together but also created a beautiful, personalized routine. We wanted something unique, so she helped us design a three-minute dance: the first half with traditional box steps, twists, turns, and lifts, and the second half with lively salsa dancing as a tribute to my Cuban heritage. She even worked with our DJ to craft the perfect song mashup that fit seamlessly with our choreography. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Laura was incredibly patient and helpful, making sure we felt confident with every step. Our lessons quickly became something we looked forward to each week—they were so much fun, and Laura is truly an amazing teacher. She also gave us helpful tips for our photographer and videographer so the dance would be captured perfectly.

Fantastic experience: Amazing! My now husband and I worked with Laura to learn a choreographed dance for our first dance together at our wedding. Neither of us are dancers or have ever taken dance classes and Laura was PHENOMENAL! My husband was skeptical about doing a choreographed dance but I insisted and by the end, he was even more into it than I was. Laura was patient, fun, uplifting and listened to everything we wanted while also pushing us to do more than we ever imagined doing! With our busy schedules (ours and hers) she was flexible to make it work for us and was always reliable. She helped us work with the song we chose and even ensured the band we chose had the right “version” of our song. We couldn’t have made a better choice in dance teacher/instructor and we loved the final dance and felt confident when doing it at our wedding! Thank you so much for your help, Laura!!!!

Fantastic experience: Laura was a great addition to our wedding journey! We used Laura for dance lessons for our October 2024 wedding and they were the highlight of stressful wedding planning. Every week we looked forward to her lessons. We didn't know a thing about dancing but she showed us the basics and choreographed a dance to the song of our choosing. She was so much fun to work with and our first dance was a hit at our wedding!

Fantastic experience: Cortland and I were lucky enough to come across Laura’s profile when google searching, and we could not be more appreciative that we did! We chose to partake in the 10 lesson choreography package for reference. From the start, Laura provided great energy, broke down concepts in layman terms, and gave us an outline on how we could make the most of our time together. Her approach made us comfortable and gave us the confidence we could get to the finish line successfully! Through the process - I learned I have minimal rhythm, but through careful eye and a listening ear, Laura heard/saw my concerns, and worked with me to bridge the skill gap. By the last session - I had really picked up the steps and gained confidence. Fantastic experience: Laura helped us plan the most magical wedding day on 9/28/2024 in Beaver Creek, Colorado. Our ceremony was at the Beaver Creek Chapel and our reception was at SaddleRidge. From our first interaction, she provided us with lots of helpful tips and tricks to stay organized throughout the "beast of a process" that is wedding planning. She also provided excellent vendor recommendations and is familiar with many vendors throughout the Vail Valley. We sourced our photographer, florist, and other vendors directly through Laura which was extremely helpful; it is very difficult when planning a wedding to know who to trust and who excels at their craft since there are so many vendor options. We knew with Laura's recommendation that these vendors would be great, and they were! Laura also taught my husband and I our first dance (she teaches dance lessons and has lots of experience here), and it went off without a hitch on wedding day. We are both not very good dancers at all, and she made our first dance great by teaching us an amazing dance routine that "wow-ed" our guests and will also be a very special memory for us to look back on. Laura also helped with lots of coordination efforts leading up to the wedding, and always provided us with sound advice when we were having trouble picking chargers, napkin colors, or making other decisions. She provides you with an online "planner" file to stay organized and uses this to communicate with all vendors and takes care of all timeline, coordination etc. for you. This is immensely helpful. Her and her team set up the church and reception venue flawlessly on wedding day, and everything was beautiful. Thank you, Laura, for everything! Fantastic experience: Laura was fantastic to work with! My wife and I had never taken formal dance lessons, but Laura made us feel comfortable in learning something new. We are so glad to have found a LGBTQ friendly dance instructor. Laura was easy to communicate with and schedule dance lessons around our busy pre-wedding schedule. Our guests were blown away by our first dance at our wedding! We even had a few ask us where we learned to dance; they intend to start taking their own dance lessons soon.

Fantastic experience: Laura was our amazing wedding planner for our June wedding in Vail. We worked with her for roughly a year and she was amazing in keeping us on track, listening to our wants/goals, and using her experience to guide us efficiently through the process. She used a shared workbook to keep things like budget, guest list, vendors, etc. all in order for everyone to stay on the same page! Being in a different state, she was especially good with planning from afar. She gave us suggestions on local DJs, Photographers, floral, and rental vendors and they were all 10/10! Her recommendations are phenomenal! The day of, the event was effortless for my wife and I! Her and her team handled everything and were running around from morning until end of the even! Fantastic experience: We completed 10 dance lessons with Laura to learn how to dance and she created a choreographed dance for our October 2023 wedding. Dance lessons with her was the highlight of our entire wedding planning process. We had so much fun learning how to dance and Laura did a fabulous job working within our skillset. Fantastic experience: I have worked with Laura for over ten years now and during that time I can't count the number of times that she has gone above and beyond for her clients. The weddings all turn out beautifully, but also, being one of the vendors, I see the lengths to which she goes to make sure everything happens the way it's supposed to. Even if there's a potential issue caused by the venue or the catering staff at the last minute, she jumps in and saves the day. Fantastic experience: I attended a wedding planned by L Elizabeth Events at Beaver Creek in the fall. Not only was the location spectacular with amazing views going up the gondola, but the decor and attention to detail inside and out of the venue was just as elegant. Beautiful lighting was added throughout the upper deck and pathway to the gondola back down the mountain that made the wedding feel enchanted as the night grew darker. Laura and her team came prepared for the unknown! That afternoon we had sprinkles of rain that were accommodated with umbrellas for everyone moments after the vows were exchanged - and just in time before the clouds opened up. It was a beautiful day from beginning to end that will be remembered for years to come.

Fantastic experience: We hired Laura as our dance instructor. Laura was such a fun and wonderful Dance teacher!! She is super easy going and gives lessons at her house which totally helped us feel comfortable. She has the cutest fur friends too (3 dogs)!
