Fantastic experience: We had the pleasure of working with Lauren and Ellie, and team, to plan our daughter’s wedding at Tuckahoe Plantation, they were phenomenal, and we highly recommend them! Our daughter had a very specific vision for her aesthetic, and they brought it to life, exactly as she envisioned it. Their team, on the day of the wedding, was at hand at every moment, resulting in a flawlessly executed event - from guest transportation to and from the venue, accommodations for older guests with mobility issues, keeping a huge wedding party on schedule, orchestrating the ceremony and reception (all outdoors), and the list goes on…Not one thing was overlooked. We could not have been more pleased and will most definitely call upon them in the future for daughter #2 !!

Fantastic experience: Lauren and Ellie were a dream to work with planning our daughter's wedding at our home. Their kindness, creativity, organization, patience and professionalism shone through in every aspect of our planning and made what could have been a very stressful process, very exciting and fun! The design components came to life so beautifully and exceeded our expectations on every front. We knew things were going to be gorgeous, but seeing it all in real time was just so unbelievable. The linens, stationary, votives, lanterns, flowers, tent, lighting, and all the rentals were just breathtaking. I think everyone was just blown away with how lovely everything looked. Fantastic experience: Ellie and Stewart were amazing! We initially hired Ellie to be our month of coordinator, but my husband and I had a five month engagement with a 200 person guest list, so a month in we brought her on to help plan the event fully! Which was best decision we made! She was so organized and made planning so much fun and simple. My husband and I were planning from a few hours away and neither of us had family in the area. Ellie had so many resources and ideas that made our wedding absolutely perfect. It was such an incredible day and it we are so thankful to have For Love of Love team make it a dream come true!

Fantastic experience: We used For Love of Love to plan our daughter’s wedding in September of 2022. Lauren, Ellie and the rest of the team exceeded our expectations at every turn. This wedding was far from a cookie cutter event with lots of moving parts that were unique to the day. (Think farm, food trucks and overnight camping!) Lauren and Ellie did not blink an eye with our ideas and responded in the most enthusiastic and energetic way. They were awesome with communication, keeping us on track at meetings as well as with deadlines. The day ran like clockwork thanks to their professionalism. We felt like we gained new friends by the end of the wedding. If you want an enthusiastic, capable, knowledgeable and fun planning team, I highly recommend For Love of Love. You will not regret it!

Fantastic experience: All I could say is if you are looking for a top-notch wedding planner, look no further! Lauren and Ellie are masters at their craft. I began planning a destination wedding in italy and soon realized I couldn’t do this on my own. They took over EVERYTHING and then when we had to pivot plans back home because of Covid, they made changing my wedding plans so much less stressful. Their eye for my vision could not have been more on point- they executed my dream wedding flawlessly; they made something come to life that I could have never done on my own. We live in Colorado and planning our large wedding in VA could not have been more smooth with their logistical skills, knowledge of the industry, and fine eye for details. We had a bit of an unusual and very complicated wedding vision that they executed flawlessly. (Think intimate ceremony followed by a (tasteful) weekend music festival with tons of friends). With a mapped out plan, there was never any surprises and I felt totally assured our wedding was in the best hands possible. Lauren is incredibly talented. My husband and I had a whirlwind of a planning experience during our short 7 month engagement, and Lauren and Ellie made everything SO easy. They recommended the absolute best vendors, did all the not so fun work (gathering pricing and availability, working on contracts, logistics, etc.) so my husband and I (and our families) were able to have fun in the process. I cannot stress enough how enjoyable it was to work with them. Planning a wedding in 7 months is no easy task, but they truly made it a breeze. Our wedding day was a dream, and everything we hoped for and more. The best money we spent! An extension of Lauren and Ellie, their day-of team was also extremely professional, available and helpful. I had a bridal assistant with me all day to ensure we were on time and that I was happy as a clam. I highly recommend working with For Love of Love!!

Lauren and her team provided an abundance of vendors to choose from (already vetted) and each provided us with superior services. They kept me on track to see that I was handling my end of things and nothing fell thru the cracks. I chose the month of and day of package and the last month before the wedding it was so nice to hand everything over to them! I was able to focus on enjoying the journey and not get stressed. They kept me up to date every step of the way and I knew we were in good hands. Truly professional at all times. When I see all that they did, I could never have done it by myself! Positive experience: We had the Partial Planning service, and overall they did a good job, especially Ellie who is on their staff. Ellie received several compliments from all the vendors she worked with. However, there were times when the owner was not as detail-oriented as one would expect for a wedding planner (for example, not making updates to the schedule since the last meeting about the number in the wedding party and family, and continuing to spell names incorrectly after being told the correct spelling), and there were some tasks that were clearly stated as their responsibility in the contract, but they had the bride and her family complete the tasks for them anyway. FLOL provided vendor recommendations as well, but they tend to lean on the more expensive side, so if you are trying to plan a budget-conscious wedding, I would not recommend their vendor list. One of their recommendations for Hair & Makeup, Elle Style Studio, turned out to be terrible - they require a $250 deposit that does not even count towards services, and spent only 20 minutes on the bride's $125 hair trial, saying that they would do more to make changes the bride requested on the day-of instead of attempting to make changes during the trial. I also understand that while the mother of the bride was the one who actually hired and paid for their services, not once did they actually ask the bride about her vision for her wedding day, which seems like a gross oversight. I would not use For Love of Love again.

Fantastic experience: When I walked into our venue on our wedding day, I was blown away. All of Lauren’s guidance and work with our vendors had transformed a large, formal venue into an intimate setting with modern touches while still preserving the historical beauty we loved about it. Lauren has an amazing eye for aesthetics across styles, is highly detail oriented without overwhelming you, and instills a sense of calm throughout the entire planning process. While planning a wedding from 800 miles away isn’t always convenient, she was incredibly accommodating, facilitating vendor meetings when I’d be in town, setting up conference calls when needed and was always willing to move forward on an accelerated timeline to work around travel schedules. I’m a little OCD about schedules, but her team kept us on track from start to finish on the big day, and the whole evening went off flawlessly. We absolutely loved working with her and her team - highly, highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: We can’t say enough wonderful things about Lauren and her team at For Love of Love! She planned and executed our 200+ wedding in 7 months and made us feel like there was no rush or reason to stress at all! Her connections to vendors and in depth knowledge of the wedding industry was apparent from the beginning and proven when every vendor(even ones she didn’t know from previous contacts) raved about her communication and execution during planning. Fantastic experience: Working with Lauren and her wonderful team was sheer pleasure from start to finish. Not only is she crazily creative, extremely organized, and always ON , but is also delightful to be with at all times. When I first mentioned her name to a local wedding vendor, her reply was "that girl moves mountains"! We knew we were in great hands the entire planning period, and hope to have the chance to work with her again. Her presence kept us all calm at all times and we really just had a blast from start to finish. Her assistants were equally professional and we loved having Ellie at our home on wedding day to keep us on schedule and assist with anything we needed. Fantastic experience: Your wedding planner search is over!! Lauren is everything you've been looking for and everything you didn't know you needed. Calling Lauren a wedding planner is an incomplete characterization. Lauren is a visionary, stylist, and strategist who is able to both design events and execute the logistics and tactics flawlessly. My husband and I (and our families) worked with Lauren for about 15 months to plan our wedding. The entire process was not only painless, but FUN! I was never overwhelmed, never felt uncertain on where things stood, and always was sure that Lauren and I were on the page with everything - aesthetics, budget, etc. She felt like family by end, and we will truly miss working with her!!

As a couple from California getting married back on the East Coast, hiring Lauren to help us cross the finish line and execute our event on the big day was the best spent money for our wedding. From our first call I knew Lauren was someone we could trust. Lauren is an experienced planner- meticulous with detail, incredibly organized (tech savvy working collaboratively with us over google docs!), clear with communication and dedicated to creating a successful event for you and your guests. As a bonus, Lauren also has true talent for inspired aesthetic and lends her design eye to every aspect of the wedding. Hire Lauren, and do it sooner rather than later- you will not regret it. Invest to have peace of mind. Lauren facilitated our perfect day so we and our loved ones could be present to enjoy making memories- which is what the day is all about.

Fantastic experience: I'm cannot imagine our wedding without For Love of Love's Lauren Hill! She made the planning process a breeze from booking hotels for our guests to communicating directly with vendors. Everything stayed perfectly organized along with contracts and timelines! Design wise, everything from the bouquets to invitations to table and chair rentals was art directed by Lauren. She took our vision for the day and turned it into a work of art! Obviously, the greatest benefit was having Lauren with us during our day. She has serious terrain knowledge, is highly organized, & was willing to roll with our odd questions and requests. She helped turn our homegrown wedding into a smashing success & even went shopping for me THE NIGHT BEFORE when there was a wedding wardrobe issue! Before the wedding, Lauren helped organize our thinking, created an aesthetic that matched our vision for the day, helped vet other vendors, and perhaps most valuable, provided unflagging moral support through a very stressful process! She went above and beyond what we had hired her to do. On our actual wedding day, not only did she provide all our florals, and smoothly coordinated all the moving parts of the day, she also saved us from multiple disasters brought on by our incompetent catering team. We had no inkling until much later how hard she had worked to correct their mistakes. Even long after our events were over, she remained a determined advocate for us when dealing with the catering company follow ups. Hire For Love of Love to help with your event - I promise you, you will not regret it.

Fantastic experience: Lauren was not only my wedding planner, but also the florist and overall architect for the look, theme, and design of my wedding. I knew going into things, that I needed a Planner who was going to be extremely detailed and organized, and keep me on track throughout the process. I tend to get overwhelmed and/or distracted easily when it comes to making many decisions, or if there’s a lot going on. Lauren was so organized and structured that I barely worried or stressed about the small decisions – I’d tell her what I generally liked, or would just send her things from Pinterest, and she’d narrow everything down to a few, wonderful options. After she realized my scatterbrained ways, she would implement friendly “deadlines” for me. This provided a way for me to think about things one thing at a time, while having the satisfaction of “checking things off my list" like guest count, menu items, program wording, etc. This helped me a lot, otherwise I would have gotten overwhelmed and procrastinated to the point of no return :) Beyond Lauren’s ability to leverage a huge variety of resources to fit my budget needs, decoration preferences, etc., I learned quickly that she has an eye for designing a beautiful a wedding. When discussing designs and decorations, she’d paint a picture of an idea for me, and follow up with pictures and examples. In one of our earlier meetings, she suggested the idea of a “S’mores and Stogies Bar” and it was a huge hit at the wedding. She also owns a huge variety of decorative items that made decorating much easier! When I started the wedding planning process, I didn’t know what I was going to do for florals, nor did I have a florist in mind. I described to Lauren the “look” I was going for, she showed me pictures of some bouquets/arrangements she had done, and I was sold. The flowers and arrangements Lauren did for my wedding were more than I ever could have wanted. I’ve gotten so many compliments from people who’ve looked at my pictures about how beautiful the flowers and arrangements were. They were perfect for the season, perfect for our colors, and exactly what I wanted! All in all, I felt so much support from Lauren throughout the entire wedding planning process. She explained things thoroughly, was always easy to get in touch with, and executed everything in such an organized manner, that I was consistently put at ease. She also made sure that everything was completed and squared away for me an entire week before my wedding, so that the only thing I had to do was enjoy time with family from out of town, and get excited about the big day!
