Fantastic experience: I am so thankful that we hired Elana as our wedding planner! From start to finish, she was always professional and she truly cares about her clients. At times wedding planning can be stressful, but Elana was there to walk us through any obstacles that we faced. I would consider myself Type A and very detail oriented, with that being said, Elana made sure every detail that I asked for was executed flawlessly on wedding day. If you are considering Elana for you wedding, I HIGHLY recommend!

Fantastic experience: I originally found Elana online, scheduled a meeting with her, and instantly knew she was the one. I decided to hire her instead of using a family friend in the events industry and it was truly the best decision I made for the wedding. As an extremely busy business professional, and with my husband being a professional coach, planning a wedding simply didn’t fit into our schedules or lifestyle. Elana completely took that weight off our shoulders and made what felt impossible look effortless. She planned our entire wedding in less than a year an extravagant and elegant celebration with professional athletes, coaches, family, and friends in attendance and executed every detail flawlessly. She’s the definition of a true professional and a class act. If it wasn’t for her, our wedding wouldn’t have happened the way it did. Elana was patient, attentive, and left no detail overlooked. Fantastic experience: Elana Walker planned my sister’s wedding and now my own and she is a part of the family. Elana and her team did an AMAZING job executing our wedding event and supporting the planning leading up to the big day. She was able to work with all of our vendors, organize and communicate with them effectively. On the day of, as the bride, one of her assistants was always nearby helping with everything we needed and keeping us on schedule (So important!)! My family, husband and bridal party felt so taken care of and special. It was a dream come true! I cannot say enough good things about her. Fantastic experience: Choosing Elana Walker as our wedding coordinator is by far one of the best decisions we made. She is the “Goat” of the wedding industry. Our wedding was perfect because of Elana and her staff. She told me early on that it would be a beautiful wedding. It was a well executed production from start to finish with a-lot of moving parts that occurred on Nov 4th 2023. We trusted her decision making skills, ideas and suggestions. It was a dream come true. It was like a hallmark movie in my eyes when I look at all the footage that Im getting from friends and family. There was so much love in the room. It is so important to do your homework before picking an event planner. As the couple it is also important to discuss what you are looking for in a planner as well to make it easier on the both of you. Elana was “my person” and of course Jeffs as well lol. He would be like l need to ask Elana about this seating chart.. and I would say “Jeff it is 1230 am the women is sleep!”Lol. She was so available to our questions and or concerns we would forget about the time as she has family as well. Elana was down to earth, professional, always had our best interest and kept it 100 with us. She will help you stay on budget and will never made any decisions without your input. I had a vision and she helped execute it. During the last month of planning my husband was involved. I know most men are not involved but him and Elana had that type of relationship. I would be on the calls while at work and he would help with the decision making. If you would like an event planner that will perfect your vision she is the one. Her professionalism is top tier. My wedding party was large. It was a total of 30 people including the hostess. She handled it like “G”. The wedding party and my guest are still talking about my wedding and how well it was executed. It was flawless. Her personality is everything. She is genuine, warm, funny, easy to work with, serious when she needs to be but will always have your best interest at heart. Although our time has ended as her being our wedding planner/coordinator we are family now. Me and Jeff have still been in contact with her. The Wileys Nov 4th 2023 Elana was professional and thorough from the very beginning. She made sure that each member of the bridal party was comfortable and prepared in making the couples day perfect. Fantastic experience: There aren't enough amazing things I can say about Elana and her team that can really even do their work justice. When I first started looking for a wedding planner, I wanted to find someone that had their work speak for itself but also would make us feel covered and supported. I had done a few calls with other planners but nothing felt right with anyone else until I came across Elana Walker. Off the top, her website and socials helped me see the possibilities for our special day but then we had our first call with her and she instantly felt like our friend. We were sold immediately. From day one, Elana was there with us over many calls and visits to clearly piece together what our wedding day would not just look like, but also feel like. She was also so kind, helpful, and flexible to roll with any punches whether it was from a vendor or from us changing our minds on previously discussed things. On the day of our wedding, her team (Tajuana and Thembelani) made sure that we didn't need a thing. There were no real stressors because they were there ensuring we had what we needed. For instance, it was about 9:30am and one of my girls needed a ponytail that we didn't have with us. They drove to the nearest hair supply store as soon as it opened to get the hair, bring it back and still be on schedule. Our wedding turned out to be a dream. It was everything we imagined it would be and then some. I can't thank Elana enough. When the wedding ended, I remember her saying something like she would talk to us soon but it was such a sad moment because I realized our time together had ended after planning for about a year and a half together. Luckily, she and I still text and laugh to this day. If you want a planner that is going to be professional, supportive, and have executional excellence... Elana Walker is that girl!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I had the best experience with Elana from start to finish. I was not stressed or worried about anything throughout the process. Elana is very prompt and on top of it all. If I could do it all over again I would choose Elana events again! From planning, creating & staying within budget, designing and having a list of credible vendors! Elana events is the way to go. Elana is also very personable and has a great personality which is very important when deciding on a planner.

I was very intentional about choosing a wedding planner and Elana checked every requirement I had: she was personable, she had a wealth of experience and connections, and her past weddings that I’ve seen on social media fit a similar aesthetic I wanted. Elana was listed as a Top Wedding Planner in the US by Condé Nast’s Brides Magazine the year prior to my wedding planner search and she definitely held up to that standard. As a type-A bride to be, I had a very detailed vision of what I wanted and Elana worked with my budget to exceed my expectations. The wedding planning process is one where it is essential to choose someone who will not only be a responsible steward of your budget, but someone you trust to know you well enough to make sound decisions for you when you’re too overwhelmed to make them for yourself. Fantastic experience: Want to start by saying this review is long overdue! Abimbola and I wed on February 25, 2023 in Cancun, MX. Simply put, Elana is amazing. She was referred to us by another couple that was planning a wedding. We had a previous planner who didn't work out and I found myself in over my head planning a destination wedding without a professional. We called Elana and knew instantly she was the real deal. Even with all our requests, our over extended budget which sometimes directly and indirectly affected her, and all the times we texted/called her on the weekend, she was extremely patient, straight forward, and worked with us every step of the way. Her professionalism is one thing, but her kindness is out of this world. Elana is simply the best. I wish I could get married again just to work with her one more time :)

Fantastic experience: Hiring a wedding planner is an investment into your big day. Although I knew I wanted one I was hesitant to make that investment. I am here to tell you that making the investment for Elana specifically was more than WORTH IT and I dont think my day would have been the same without her! She was patient, fun, hilarious, creative, kind, a listening ear, and did everything in her control to make sure that my day was perfect. My wedding went off without any issues (that I knew about at least) and both Elana and her assistants were a dream. Not only did I have an amazing planner but I gained a friend. She is stuck with me! If you are looking for a phenominal wedding and/or event planner across the US AND abroad, look no further. She will meet the need every time!

Fantastic experience: I never write reviews, but am compelled to write a review based on the phenomenal experience we had. We met with three wedding planners, Elana being our second one. While the other two were skilled and completely lovely people, I knew within two minutes into our initial meeting that Elana was the planner for us. She listened to us, she understood what we wanted, she gave us options when we didn’t know what we wanted, she was extremely organized, and she had so many connections with vendors. She was a calming presence during the planning process and never forced a vendor on us; even when we went in a different direction than what we initially thought. She presented us with options and always allowed us to make our own decisions. Did I mention vendors and connections? So very thankful for her ability to get vendors and professionals on the phone with us and place the right people in our path to assist us. On the day of, I didn’t have to worry about anything because I was reminded by people around us that Elana would take care of it. I honestly do not understand how she kept up with all the requests we had or special things we wanted, but she did. She was a fierce advocate for us and a very calming presence throughout the process. The best part—she calmed me down by joining in a Drake song with my son right before I walked down the aisle. I honestly could not have done the day without Elana and her team. She was the perfect balance of professionalism and fun. She helped us achieve the wedding we wanted and envisioned. I had a planner for year and now a friend for life!!!

Fantastic experience: Honestly i was a little skeptical, but i am a believer! This weekend i saw the most beautiful wedding i have EVER seen! This event planner should be on TV! I watch wedding shows all the time and she can NOT be touched! Original, well put together down to the tiniest details. She brought the heaven theme to life and the custom gates were gorgeous! Ballerina dropping feathers and petals from a golden bowl while on her toes all the way down the aisle was genius! Beyond BEAUTIFUL!!!

Negative experience: Judging by Elana's lack of interest in meeting with my fiance and I, it is clear that she maybe inundated with clients. While we loved her work online and still do, Elana struggled to meet with us, consecutively. She would schedule a meeting and completely ghost us when it was time to do the intake. Too indicative for us, but we wish her the best of success! Hopefully the next wedding day hopefuls get the attention we did not.

Fantastic experience: No way we would have pulled off this 2 day wedding extravaganza without our wedding planner Elana Walker. She was with us from start to finish. Making sure we met our deadlines and helped us put to life a weekend we only thought was possible in our dreams. Our first day was the Nigerian engagement. From facilities to catering, DJ to MC, she made it happen. Coordinated everything from the floral arrangements to the rentals and beyond. She came back ready for day two for our formal wedding. From the band to the Florida style vision and look, she was there for it all. She worked extremely hard and it showed. People couldn’t stop talking about how much fun they had at our wedding. From the Band to the live wedding painter, party favors, 360 photo booth, private boat send off, delicious food and unimaginable cake, Elana had her hands in it all. It was quite the show. Fantastic experience: I am so happy I chose Elana as my wedding planner! She is the utmost professional in her field and she is extremely knowledgeable about the ins and outs of all things wedding. Working with her was like working with a friend who had our best interest at heart throughout this entire process. I run my own law firm and I’m a mom. We also bought a house this year. Honestly, I often didn’t have much time to plan my wedding initially and Elana was so clutch in being a perfect balance of keeping me on task while also giving me room to breathe and work through everything going on in my life. Most importantly—my wedding was BEAUTIFUL!!!! There were so many details that I would have overlooked but Elana made sure every little detail spoke to who we were as a couple. Everything from the flowers to the wedding favors were perfection. She recommended the best vendors and she was conscious of our budget. People can’t stop talking about how beautiful everything was and how much fun they had at the reception. Everything was so organized and stress free on the day of our wedding. Everything just flowed. If there were any problems or issues she handled them without me or my husband getting wind of anything that went awry. I was in awe of how she and her team were able to take all the pressure and stress of a wedding off our shoulders. She makes it look so easy but I know how much hard work her and her team committed to make our day magical. I can’t thank her enough for her services. She gave me my dream wedding.

Fantastic experience: I could share how great of a planner and designer Elana is, but if you’ve had just a glance at her Instagram or seen any of her viral weddings- you already know that. Yes, Elana is top notch in her field and the best of the best- but she is so much more than that. I was a “covid bride” who had to reschedule my wedding twice. I’m not the type of person that works well with plans alternative to exactly how I want them, so needless to say I did not take this well. Elana handled the changes (and me) so flawlessly and with so much patience and grace. And not just me- my mother too! She was not just a planner, but a sounding board, family chaos coordinator, and a friend. When you choose elana you’re not just deciding on a beautiful event, but so much more than that. Fantastic experience: As a groom the need for a wedding planner was FAR from my list of necessities! However; my wife knew she wanted/needed a wedding planner and knew it HAD to be Elana Walker Events (EWE). During our very first consultation with Elana over the phone she made it evident that she and EWE sole mission was to ensure our day was everything we wanted and dreamed of. EWE literally took our thoughts and ideas out of our heads, placed it on paper and excuted our #teamBEaffair2018 vision PERFECTLY! Throughout the entire planning process my wife and I never got stressed that something would go wrong or something would be out of place. Fantastic experience: Elana and her team were absolutely amazing with planning, executing, day of coordinating our amazing wedding day in April 2018! Elana was the first investment my husband and i made after getting engaged! I know Elana was going to be my wedding planner before i was even engaged! Her social media presence, precious reviews, hearing testimonials from other EWE brides, I KNEWW therefore I was so happy when she was available for our date and we instantly clicked! Elana was always extra attentive to our needs, she was always available, for business, for ideas, for venting sessions, she was always there- so crucially important for brides! She is extremely knowledgeable in this area which is evidently her passion! She is very well connected in and outside of the RDU area and that’s extremely important as we lived in Winston Salem and for married in Raleigh! Elana’s execution of our design was emmaculent! Our guests are STILLLLL talking about how beautiful our day was. The day of was so smooth! We had no issues (or if we did- we didn’t know about them) which is how it should be on wedding day! Elana had a schedule and times set for every detail leading up until thw very minute I walked down the aisle! She handled our reception excellently! Every aspect of her execution of our day was done with excellence, class and professionalism. We often wish to relive our wedding day! It was absolutely perfect! Fantastic experience: I have had the great honor and privilege of working with Elana a few times and every single time has been enjoyable. As a wedding professional myself I can respect how much Elana goes out of her way for her clients. Minor setbacks may occur on your wedding day but I doubt you will ever know of it. I've seen Elana make changes on the fly and the day continued to run smoothly. Only a knowledgeable, skilled and experienced planner can do this. Lastly I can testify to Elana's ability to keep all the vendors in the loop. Your wedding day is a collaborative effort between multiple wedding professionals. Do you really want the task of having to communicate with all of them at even given time? Elana sends out a very detailed timeline with vendor names and contact information. In addition If I have a question I've never had to wait till the next day for the answer. You want regret working with Elana.

Fantastic experience: Elana Walker Events coordinated my wedding last October, but here’s the best part about Ms. Elana. She came in at the tail end of things and ensured that our day was absolutely wonderful. She did not skip a beat and you would have never known she wasn’t working with us from day one. Every time I had an issue, a question or an idea she was there to listen if it was answering a call or responding to a text. She’s not just a planner but at some point she was almost my stylist. Her team was just a patient as she was and if I had to do it all over again, she would be my first choice. There is so much good I could say about her. Fantastic experience: I've had the opportunity to work with Elana Walker Events at numerous weddings over the last 3 years. Her and her staff always come with their "A" game. As a DJ I believe having a planner is essential to a well programmed wedding, but not just any planner. A planner that pay's attention to detail, listens to her clients and offers her expert advice and making her clients dreams come to reality, that is what I've seen and is why Elana is one of the planners I always refer to my clients regardless if you are looking for a planner or never thought about it before.

Fantastic experience: Elana Walker is hands down the best event planner that I’ve worked with during my videography career. Her team along with herself make the hectic wedding days operate smoothly as a well-oiled machine. From a wedding videographers perspective, it’s imperative that your planner is knowledgeable and knows how to adjust things accordingly to the flow of the wedding day. Elana does this with ease while keeping the couple and vendors on the same page. My working experiences with her compared to other planners or no planners at all is entirely night and day. Brides and groom listen to me carefully, do not skimp out on your planner, they can make or break your precious wedding day.

Negative experience: New Review: Elana Walker Events (EWE) site is filled with beautiful flowers, crystals, smiling faces and a promise to make your wedding vision a reality...and that's where the good times end. Unfortunately, at times, it was as if we were planning EWE's concept and not ours. We felt rejected when we proposed ideas like a professional dance troupe to serenade the groom, selected Asian mums that she stated we would not use until I stated, "yes we are." It was constant disconnect during ceremony planning and/or vendors if we hired staff other than those she suggested. If EWE Events hadn't birthed the idea or experienced it, she was slow to accept and/or embrace it. As we progressed through the months, we often felt secondary and or ignored during our sessions. Elana would pull her laptop out and start sending emails or answering calls during our specified time. The most disappointing experience was on the wedding day as she was late getting to the venue because she had stopped by a vendors location and without authorization, authorized them to charge our credit card even though email traffic from her promised that she would return items in question on the Monday following our wedding to avoid an additional cost. Luckily, we had the emails to avoid an ugly dispute yet Elana's comments to the vendor tried to suggest that we were fighting paying our bill. Additionally, we have yet to have "Our Planner" completed as promised even though she's been contacted via email concerning this issue and has not responded to any correspondence from us be it text, email or postal service. She was sent a letter thanking her for her expertise while at the same time sharing our disappointment and making some suggestions based on our experience. Finally, she promised to feature our wedding on her site the day of and day after as she does with all her customers; however, that did not happen until my I called and questioned why we were not featured. Though text messages, her response was that 'she was away from her computer running around all day and did not have pictures saved to her phone. She did not want to post it too late and no one see it so she was just going to compile it with the day of pictures. She texted that 'sometimes she has to do that if she doesn't get a chance to do the day before.'

Fantastic experience: The very first thing I did after getting engaged was look for a wedding planner. Elana's reputation for excellence preceded her, so I immediately put her on a short list of potential planners to speak with. After our first conversation, I knew I had to have her, and I have never been disappointed!! Elana and her team went above and beyond to make my wedding day extra special. Elana is organized, thoughtful and always accessible! Plus, she is well-connected with tons of other great vendors, which makes the selection process much easier. I was not one of those brides whose been planning her wedding since childhood, and I initially struggled with an overall wedding theme. Elana's creativity really helped me narrow down the things I wanted (and didn't want) to make the vision in my head come to life! There truly aren't enough wonderful things I can say about Elana Walker Events. I plan to recommend her to everyone I know! If you are on the fence about using her services, don't be, you will not regret it!!
