Fantastic experience: Alyssa is the best planner ever!!! ✨ Working with Alyssa allowed us to truly enjoy our magical wedding day, knowing she would handle every detail flawlessly — even the ones we forgot about. From the moment we first met with her, she was a comforting and extremely knowledgeable guide — answering every question (no matter how in the weeds, or vaguely high level) and easing every worry (no matter how realistic or unlikely). She is a seasoned expert in all the logistics that we would never know how to do — the many planning milestones and deadlines, nitty gritty contracts, day of timelines and seating charts, technical set up and equipment, layout and flow of specific spaces, and literally anything else you need. Perhaps most importantly, she was a confident and calming presence throughout the process, and especially on the day of. She thought of and took care of all the little things we were too busy to think about (made sure guests were using our polaroid cameras, gave our parents their corsages / boutonnières, made plates of our appetizers that we had missed while chatting with people, passed out vendor gratuities, gathered all our personal belongings and delivered to and from our room, etc.), letting us focus on being fully present. She made us feel comfortable, taken care of, and reassured the whole day and well after the day You need Pacific Engagements to plan your wedding :)

Fantastic experience: Working with Alyssa was amazing. She handled all of our communication with all the vendors and made the process as stress free as possible. Alyssa was very helpful in managing our timelines and deadlines so that nothing was missed. We had an idea of a style for our wedding and she helped pick out our decor and designs to make our idea come to life. Everything turned out incredibly beautiful. We were both able to enjoy the wedding day absolutely stress free without worrying about anything.

Fantastic experience: I just want to say a huge thank you to Alyssa for all the work she put into our wedding. She was on it from day one and, honestly, exactly the person I didn’t know I needed. I’m super Type A in my career—organized, on top of details, spreadsheets for days. So I figured planning a wedding would be no big deal. Spoiler alert: it was a big deal. I found myself having decision paralysis which led to a few missed deadlines and the need for someone other than myself to work through the details. Alyssa didn’t just keep things moving—she gently (and consistently) chased me down in the most effective way. I’ll be honest: I didn’t love that our venue required a coordinator. I’m now fully eating my words because I cannot imagine doing this without her. To anyone on the fence: do it. Book her. She kept us on track, answered questions I didn’t even know I had, and genuinely made me feel like everything was going to go smoothly on our wedding day. Come wedding day, I (the Bride) felt calm and confident in everything that needed to get done before, during, and after saying "I do". That’s 100% because I knew Alyssa was there to fully execute my wedding vision and be the point person should anything go awry. Hire her, you won't regret it!

Fantastic experience: This is the team you want for your wedding in the PNW! Alyssa helped us plan our wedding from across the country, set up all of our tours, and was all hands on deck the months before our wedding. She remembered every detail, communicated with all of our vendors, and handled last-minute changes with ease. From keeping track of timelines, to managing people (and their emotions!) on the wedding day, we would've been lost without her and the Pacific Engagements team.

Fantastic experience: Working with Alyssa was the most important decision we made to make our wedding dreams come to life. She is extremely organized, thorough, an excellent communicator, and not afraid to go to bat for her clients. In the beginning of the planning process she provided us with many options for excellent, reputable vendors that fit my vision and was understanding and accommodating when I was indecisive or changed my mind on something. I was concerned that I had many ideas but didn’t know how to make it cohesive and she made sure my vision was streamlined through all of the decisions we made. She was willing to take the reins when we needed her to, and also let us be as involved as we wanted to be. Every final decision was ran by us and she kept track of all things budget, making suggestions on how to cut costs when we wanted to, or making suggestions to allot budget to things we might not have thought of otherwise. She was quick to answer emails and set up zoom meetings or hop on phone calls (sometimes last minute), and hear us out on any concerns, and very reassuring. The wedding day had so many moving parts that we did not have to think about at all. We were able to just focus on each other and our guests. I told everybody that there was literally no way we would have been able to pull it off alone, it wouldn’t have been what it was- not even close! Alyssa was also a pleasure to get to know over the year we worked with her. She was very professional but also warm, supportive, and thoughtful. We faced hardship during our year of planning and she let us know she was there for us and gave us lots of grace when we needed to take time away from planning or took longer to give responses. Our wedding was beautiful and I would recommend Alyssa to anybody looking for a planner! You won’t regret it!

Fantastic experience: It is impossible to describe how grateful we are for Alyssa and everything she did to make our wedding day perfect. As soon as we got engaged we knew we needed a wedding planner to help us and take some responsibilities and we didn’t have to look long to find Alyssa. Through a two year engagement, we have come to know Alyssa (and her dog Carmen) very well. We were planning a wedding across the country and Alyssa made things easy and smooth and reassured us constantly that this was going to work out well! She helped us find vendors that fit our wishes, budget, and style. Initially we met over zoom every month to every other month but as our date grew closer our meetings were more frequent as well. She was always there for our silly questions and tolerated all the times we changed our minds or couldn’t make decisions. Alyssa was there for us through it all and she kept us calm and moving forward! The day of the wedding we had literally nothing to worry about, Alyssa handled everything. She made sure everything got to the venue (and looked beautiful), made sure the schedule chugged along, made sure the guests (and the bride and groom) were happy. Our day was perfect and Alyssa is a lot of the reason why :) If anything at all went wrong, we had absolutely no idea. Alyssa is truly amazing, she is professional and kind, but she is also fun, energetic, and just generally a joy to be around! She is an extraordinary wedding planner and her design for our day came together flawlessly. She knew what questions to ask to learn about us and our preferences and she listened. While she always provided her suggestions and advice as a professional, she still knew how to bring it all together to make our day feel so perfect, so personal, and 100% us! We had a perfect wedding, and that is because of Alyssa, we are so incredibly happy we found her and had the chance to work with her! We cannot recommend Alyssa and Pacific Engagements enough!

Fantastic experience: Best investment ever! I am so glad we decided to hire Pacific Engagements! Alyssa and I have known each other since college. After graduation, I watched her business flourish and I knew exactly who to call when it was my turn to walk down the aisle. I'm not a girl who dreamed about her perfect wedding, I only ever dreamed about the happily ever after part. I felt very unprepared to dive into the world of wedding planning after the engagement. Alyssa helped me feel more comfortable with all the ins and outs of wedding culture in our area today. She exuded confidence and professionalism, even with our prior relationship. She recommended some amazing vendors, met with us in person which is SO comforting, kept communication streamed lined during emails, helped keep us on track with decision-making for the big day, and never pressured us if we needed more time to think through little details or logistics. We planned an August wedding because we knew in our area it wouldn't rain that deep into summer. Of course, when the day came, it rained... Alyssa and her team didn't even bat an eye. They set up our ceremony in the rain for us anyway <3 Moved the cocktail hour and reception indoors, and made it feel magical without needing to bother me with a single detail. When the posy bouquets for my mom and grandma were missing, she made sure they materialized before they walked down the aisle. And when we needed more room on the dance floor, she made sure the tables and chairs got pushed back so everyone had room to move. Nothing will ever go 100% according to plan, but with Pacific Engagements nobody ever knew that our special day was anything other than exactly as we planned it to be! Perfection <3

Fantastic experience: Alyssa was such an amazing help with every step of our wedding planing process! We reached out to her with less than 6 months away from our wedding date because we decided to switch venues. She did everything so effortlessly with the little time she had which wiped away my fear of getting every thing done in time. If your thinking about booking her you definitely should! Fantastic experience: My wife and I had a first-class experience working with Alyssa to plan our wedding this summer. From the get go, Alyssa was responsive, organized, and thorough. Additionally, she was an expert at calming our nerves and keeping us on track with all that was going on. She expertly handled the tough calls and hard work that was required. The biggest testament to her excellent work though is how seamless our actual wedding was. Fantastic experience: My team and I had the wonderful pleasure of working alongside Alyssa for a wedding at Hayden Lake Country Club in August of 2022. I cannot express how organized, efficient, and kind both Alyssa and her team were throughout the entire process. As a wedding photographer, working alongside a planner who balances leadership and trust so effortlessly allows for every vendor to truly execute their best work, and I can truly say this particular wedding was my favorite experience of the entire year. Not only did Alyssa and her team give our couple an intentional and custom experience, but the event itself was so exquisitely designed, it looked as though it came right off the pages of a Vogue shoot. If you are currently engaged and are deciphering whether or not to hire Pacific Engagements as your wedding planner, let this be the review to push you over the edge and secure her services. She is exceptional, intentional and has a wonderful eye for design.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I are truly blessed that we were able to work with Alyssa to create such an AMAZING wedding day! She is the reason everything went perfectly and we keep having our friends and family tell us how it was the best wedding they have ever been to! We had MANY complications with our venue and Alyssa was with us every step of the way. She made sure we were understanding what was going on and helping us get things figured out quickly and was always on our side. She always took calls whenever we needed to talk about certain things, making sure we had everything organized and the vendors were always up to date. She made the wedding day so seamless, that if there was anything that went wrong, we had no idea about it! Alyssa is truly the best wedding coordinator in the industry! Fantastic experience: My wife and I went into wedding planning knowing we needed some additional help coordinating our special day since neither one of us are strong event planners, and Alyssa was everything we needed and more. She was supportive, thorough, and responsive throughout the entire process. We had a few complications leading up to the wedding and without Alyssa we would have struggled to find solutions. Day of the wedding we felt relaxed and confident that the day would run smoothly since Alyssa was covering all of the details.

Fantastic experience: Working with Alyssa for our wedding was such a great experience. Having Alyssa there on the day was the greatest peace of mind I could have ever asked for. Fantastic experience: Working with Alyssa during our wedding planning process was a wonderful experience. Like many other couples, we faced a lot of logistical difficulties while planning the wedding. In fact, we would be out of the country during the entire wedding planning process! However, Alyssa’s flexibility and enthusiasm to help us put on the wedding that we wanted minimized any issues. She assisted us a lot with vendor sourcing and was always front and center when we needed to contact them. Alyssa also helped us a lot with many of the design aspects of the event and worked with the location, florist, and other vendors to ensure that the day had the look and feel we wanted. She worked with us diligently to understand our vision for each step of the process. On the day she was there whenever we needed her and orchestrated events to ensure they went off without a hitch! Every detail was considered and she was in constant communication to ensure the event went smoothly. She helped the couple select a team of vendors who were all amazing. Fantastic experience: It was an absolute pleasure working with Alyssa!! I would highly recommend her as anyone’s next wedding planner. As someone from out of state getting married in Seattle, I could not ask for a better wedding planner! (My parents live in Seattle but don’t speak English well). I was originally really worried about planning everything since I couldn’t visit Seattle more than a couple times since getting engaged and my husband and I are always super busy with work; however, I knew with her, I didn’t have to stress out too much and was able to let her handle everything. She was able to plan and prepare for everything we needed and her design plans were just gorgeous. You can definitely trust her to grasp your wedding theme and aesthetic and help make your wedding everything you wanted. With Alyssa and her lovely assistant, my fiancé and I were able to celebrate our wedding day with family and friends without having to worry about moving chairs or setting up anything, too. She also has an amazing list of vendors with whom we genuinely loved working with! We couldn’t ask for more! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough about Alyssa!! She was SO helpful and thought of things that were not even on my radar to make our day exactly how we envisioned it! I didn't think I needed a planner since we were doing a smaller elopement type ceremony in Olympic Park, but quickly realized I needed help. I am not from Washington so was not familiar with anything in the area that we were getting married. Alyssa put so much work into researching venders and making my vision come to life while making me feel at ease about everything from hundreds of miles away. She handled all of the scheduling and conversations with vendors and made my life leading up to the wedding so much easier! On the day of, she ensured everything went perfectly! She set up everything/made sure every vendor was on time and that everything ran smoothly. She did not sit down and made sure every single detail was in place. I feel like I really just showed up on my wedding day and she did everything else. I cannot thank her enough for her perfect planning!

Fantastic experience: Working with Alyssa at Pacific Engagements truly was the BEST decision we made for our wedding! I knew early on I would need a wedding planner to help us in coordinating our dream wedding and was so happy that I found Pacific Engagements! Her webpage as well as social media accounts showcases her attention to fine details and had the aesthetics we were looking for. Alyssa is a class act - she is super professional, easy to communicate with, fast to respond and was just a dream to work with! I can't tell you how many times she has saved us during this whole process, offering her sound judgment and advice from her years of experience in the wedding industry. A day prior to our wedding day, we were contacted by the transportation agency we originally booked stating that the vintage car we wanted was not going to be ready in time for the wedding due to mechanical issues. I was devasted, super stressed out and Alyssa was able to come to our rescue and in fact was able to connect with another agency and book us an even better vintage car than we hoped for! This is the type of dedication and service any bride/groom would want to have as a part of their wedding vendor team. She alleviated so many of our fears/stress regarding COVID-19 concerns and was able to give us alternative options and ideas to make things run smoothly. On the day of our wedding, Alyssa and her team set up everything so perfectly and beautifully as I had envisioned for our wedding. She understood the vibe I was going for and executed it well, with little instructions. I know for a fact that without her help, my wedding would not have been what I envisioned it to be. Fantastic experience: Alyssa at Pacific Engagements was the best wedding planner and helped us create the most perfect day we could have imagined! As one of the first couples amongst our friends to get married, we hadn’t been to a ton of weddings and weren’t completely sure where to even start with planning. Alyssa made things so easy for us with vendor recommendations, setting expectations, and checking in with us on a regular basis. We first met with Alyssa in June 2019 for our August 2020 wedding, however, in March 2020 we ultimately decided to postpone our wedding to September 2021 due to COVID-19. In a completely stressful time, Alyssa was a rock and so supportive! She helped us reschedule our venue and all of our vendors - luckily we were able to move everything to our new date with no issues. When we weren’t able to reach one of our vendors, Alyssa quickly stepped in, was able to contact the vendor and problem solve. Alyssa was always up to date on the ever changing COVID wedding restrictions, able to provide guidance and always so positive! Our wedding day was absolutely beautiful and went perfectly. We didn’t feel stressed at all on our wedding day and were able to be fully present and enjoy the day with our guests. It was so nice not to have to worry about all the little details and logistics going on behind the scenes. We spent over two years working with Alyssa and it was so much fun getting to know her and planning our dream wedding. We could not have done it without her!

Fantastic experience: There are not enough words to explain how amazing Alyssa is to work with. After getting engaged in December 2018, I was worried about being able to execute the vision I had in my head of what I wanted my wedding to look like as an extremely uncreative person. We began working with Alyssa in early 2019 to begin the planning and design process for our wedding set for August 1, 2020. Alyssa brought to the table the creative, artistic aspect that I sorely needed and helped fill in the entire picture. She was able to provide sketches, mockups, designs and plans for everything that really helped us visualize what the day would look like. Combining that with her tailored list of vendors the day was fully coming together, and I was able to reduce the residual stress knowing Alyssa understood my vision and would execute it beautifully. Much like with the rest of the world, the COVID pandemic drastically changed our wedding plans. After making the decision to postpone our wedding by one year, I reached out to Alyssa with the difficult news. She immediately contacted all my vendors, coordinated the change-of-date contracts, and handled all the logistics so I didn't have to worry about it. When we began planning again in early 2021, we went through three or four different iterations of the wedding plan due to the constantly changing restrictions. Alyssa took every single modification in stride, quickly adapted the plan and schedule, and provided amazing recommendations and creative ideas to help keep our guests entertained in a more restrictive wedding. The day finally arrived on August 1, 2021, and it was more than I ever could have hoped for. I was not worried about a single thing, and was able to fully enjoy the wedding day. Alyssa had taken care of all logistics, planning, coordination, and decor that was needed (which was a lot!). I knew that without her, I would not have been able to fully enjoy my wedding day. There are so many minor details that take away from being fully present, and not needing to worry about them and fully entrust Alyssa made my wedding day absolutely amazing. Wedding planning is a full time job, and like many other jobs is best left to professionals. Alyssa is the most professional, organized, creative, thoughtful, kind and patient person, and truly owns the entire wedding planning process. I was so happy to have her at my side on my special day, and I knew my wedding turned out as perfect as it did because of her efforts.

Fantastic experience: Alyssa was simply amazing from the very beginning, and she was able to get us to our literal DREAM weekend. After being a part of so many weddings that had last minute tasks thrown onto the wedding party or something fall through because there was no time for it, our main goal was to simply allow our guests to enjoy the day. Alyssa pulled this off spectacularly, so much so that the one of our biggest issues during the week leading up to the wedding was that we simply did not have any tasks to give our wedding party to do when they asked! We also consider ourselves to be even luckier, as Alyssa went an additional step above and beyond her duties to us and took on the responsibility of being our officiant. This task took her away from her normal day of duties, but it definitely did not make her stop entirely as everything that day went impossibly smooth (well except for maybe the three of us crying at the alter together :)). Oh, and by they way, this all happened during the pandemic! While we were lucky enough to pick a date that did not end up being adjusted, Alyssa helped us coordinate the ever changing landscape of restrictions, which changed at least 10 times in the 2 months leading up to the wedding. She literally became our brain during this entire time, and I know we could never have accomplished this without her.

Fantastic experience: Alyssa was very professional and helpful during the wedding planning process. She had great ideas and was very responsive to any random question I threw at her. She made the wedding day seamless and took care of every small thing. I knew I could trust her to get everything set up and displayed in the way I wanted while also making game time decisions that reflected our style. We are so appreciate you Alyssa for her time and attention!

Fantastic experience: We recently provided our bartending service at a Wedding Planned by Pacific Engagements, Alyssa was so amazing to work with!! She was very personable and professional the whole time, she would constantly reach out to us before the wedding to make sure that we had all the information needed to help the wedding run smoothly. She made sure during the wedding to come check on us to see how things were going and to ask if there was anything else that we needed. Overall our experience with Alyssa and Pacific Engagements was a 100/10 and we look forward to working with her for future events!

Fantastic experience: We cannot recommend Alyssa of Pacific Engagements enough! She is everything, and more you might be looking for in a planner! We have been so fortunate to work alongside her at a recent wedding, and I loved her professional approach and calming presence even during the most unpredictably chaotic situations! Despite the most intense heat on the day of the wedding (107 degrees in the shade!) Alyssa stayed composed, professional, and considerate through it all! From gluing the sole of the groom's shoe when the glue melted from the heat to keeping everything on time and checking on everyone throughout the day - she nailed it all! She's detail-oriented, personable, and reliable. I loved seeing her in action, and I would recommend her services with confidence to anyone looking to get their wedding or event immaculately planned!

Fantastic experience: This is the 2nd time working with Alyssa of Pacific Engagements. I own LiSun Goh Beauty, and as a Makeup Artist it's nice knowing the planner and her work style. The morning of the wedding day(s) went really smoothly, communication was great as I create my own beauty timeline to give to the Bride, and confirmed by Alyssa and the photographer. If there was anything I needed, I could always contact Alyssa and she always answered. Brides!!! Do not think twice about hiring Alyssa, she will make your wedding day stress-free and all you have to do is relax and get pampered by ME!

Fantastic experience: I would not have made it through without Alyssa! I am not a planner by nature, and am definitely more of the “go with the flow” type. I was so worried that our big day was going to be a mess because neither of us had any idea what we were doing, but thought we could manage. I am so happy I decided to move forward with Alyssa! She was there every step of the way and orchestrated our day seamlessly. She coordinated every aspect of our wedding, and we had many: Three food trucks, a DJ, a guitar player, a bar camper, a photo van, furniture rental and donut truck! We also did things that weren’t as conventional: our processional (and last minute add ins to the wedding party), no formal picture time and a champagne toast during cocktail hour. Alyssa was open to every idea and figured out how to include it in a way that it would flow and ensured that it would be our best day; but also be an expression of who we were together, it was important to us to enjoy our day and be comfortable! She made what was in my head come to life. We didn’t have to worry about a thing and were able to enjoy our visiting family and friends the few weeks leading up to the wedding. I would highly recommend her just based on all of the above alone, but then there was this moment where I know I would have fallen to pieces without her. It was right before I was about to walk down the aisle, I could here our guitar player start to play my song, it was my cue! I was frozen there behind the wall divider and suddenly couldn’t breathe. All of this emotion just came rushing to me at once and I thought I may not be able to hold it together and pass out right there. Alyssa was right beside me, she took my hand, wiped my tears and said “hey, everything is perfect, you look beautiful and you are marrying your best friend today. Now don’t forget to smile.” I can’t express how much that moment meant to me. Thank you so much Alyssa, for everything.

Fantastic experience: Working with Alyssa at Pacific Engagements was absolutely amazing. As we started thinking about our big day the thoughts of all the details we'd have to finalize started to weigh heavily on us. She not only helped us navigate all of the big and little details, but helped make sure the parties to the wedding (our parents) didn't have to be overwhelmed with decision making or any work/preparations they didn't want or have to do. My wife(!) and I also have different outlooks on event planning (I think macro/high level and she digs into the details) which can sometimes complement each other and sometimes create challenges. Alyssa was able to communicate, work flawlessly without missing anything, and with great ease and grace even when presented with these two different personalities. If we could go back in time and make the decision again the only thing we would do differently is book her earlier (we had an 18 month engagement and hired her with 9 months to go :) ). Her confidence, grace, attention to detail, experience, and leadership serves her very well and I don't know how we would have done it without her!

Fantastic experience: We were introduced to Alyssa through a recommendation from another vendor and boy did we get lucky! Alyssa is a dream to work with- so sweet and ready to answer questions and calm lingering nerves. Though she only really came on working with us closer to the wedding date (as our day of coordinator), after our initial meeting, she got us set up with an awesome online organizer and a lot of great advice and encouragement. We were planning from across the country, so knowing she was there for us eased lot of fears and confusion. On the day of the wedding, I arrived early to put on some finishing touches, but the second Alyssa arrived I felt myself relax.. We could really sit back and enjoy the day and knew that nothing could go wrong. And it didn’t. All throughout the wedding I heard from guests how much they loved Alyssa. She is sweet and personable, but also straight forward, keeps things moving and makes sure people know what to do- all with a smile and a sweet way about her. This meant so much to us to hear and may actually be the best thing about Alyssa. She helped us out immensely in the planning process- WE knew how incredible she was, but the fact that our guests and our families loved her and felt taken care of, made the day even better. If you’re looking for a planner or a day-of-coordinator like us, you can’t go wrong with Pacific Engagements. Alyssa will make you and your guests feel like royalty!
