Fantastic experience: My son and his fiance were being pushed around in the planning and design of their wedding. There were few things they didn't want to compromise on for the wedding they were paying for but it became obvious they needed a skilled wedding planner to buffer them to ensure those non- negotiable things went how they wanted. Thank GOD for Ms. Rich and her team at Fervent Designs. She met with the couple, heard their love story and their desires and worries. I first encountered her on the phone to discuss the rehearsal dinner and getaway car and right away I knew she was a blessing for them as she was professional, organized, and focused on their needs. She handled every issue brought to her - including their venue firing their venue coordinator 3 days before their wedding and leaving the couple to fend for themselves since nothing from their final meeting with that person got documented (that's another review!). Rich was there to pull off everything as the couple wanted but more than that, she brought enthusiasm and professionalism they needed. The entire time Rich was focused on the couple and made sure they weren't "overridden" but other people. My son was on a very tight budget and I can't say enough about how Fervent Designs was the best money- so well spent!! I don't think my review is going to do them justice, but Ms. Rich and her team deserve 10/10 stars. You might think you don't need a wedding coordinator, hire Fervent Designs anyway - family members and guests with the slightest of questions shouldn't have to chase down answers or resolve any snags and Ms. Rich will ensure everything is handled quickly and in the best interests of the bread and groom!

Fantastic experience: I am so thankful for Fervent Designs! They fit me in last minute and with only a month or so to prepare, the event was perfect! Everything was well executed by Richandra and her team. It was a one stop shop with decor, cake, linens, photography, backdrop, centerpieces, balloons and day of execution. If you needed it, Rich had it! Even though we made all our food, they served it warm in their catering equipment and it was as if a chef was hired for the event. I was able, for once, to show up and just enjoy this milestone with my family and that was very important to me. No work and sweat and running around like crazy…just relaxation with a well planned and executed not to mention AFFORDABLE event. I can’t imagine anything being better than it was. Thank you Rich and the entire Fervent Designs Team! You have a customer for life!

Fantastic experience: A Standing Ovation for Fervent Designs! I just attended the Juneteenth event organized by Fervent Designs in Stafford, TX, and I’m still smiling! The event was incredibly well-organized, family-friendly, and full of joy. There was truly something for everyone. I walked away with a deeper understanding of my culture, enjoyed amazing entertainment, and even learned the “Boots on the Ground” line dance—so much fun! The food was absolutely delicious, the staff was warm and welcoming, and the vendors brought great energy and offerings. Fervent Designs, you knocked it out of the park. You get a standing ovation from me. Thank you for creating such a meaningful and memorable celebration of Juneteenth!

Fantastic experience: I have been to several events of Fervent Designs from birthday parties to government events. I am impressed with the organization, professionalism, coordination, and precision of their events. Their catered food is delicious and I typically ask who their food vendors are for research purposes. I have enjoyed their events so far and look forward to attending more. I greatly recommend them for a variety of functions.

Fantastic experience: If you are questioning on whether to book with Fervent Designs or not, STOP, and book ASAP! We booked the Partial Package with Fervent Designs for our wedding in April of 2023, and it was the best decision I ever made. My 9-5 is a project manager, so i thought I could plan all i needed for the wedding but was wrong. Anything I forgot or needed Fervent provided. Our wedding was one that had alot of different aspects to it. My Husband is Liberian, and we knew we wanted to combine some African traditions and also have some American traditions all in one wedding day. Rich was able to accommodate it all and to this day, people still talk about our wedding and how it was so much but still so organized. People who left early regrated ed after seeing, that when they thought it was over, it wasn't. The day of the wedding, everything went better than I could have ever planned on my own. It felt good to truly be able to relax and enjoy my wedding. The bridal assistant, Bianca, or who I was calling Bee, is the sister by my side that day, that I didn't know I needed. She was detailed oriented and made sure I was taken care at all times. My nerves were non existent! Fervent designs really is a one stop shop, Planning, Decor, DJ, whatever you can think of. Overall, if you are contemplating it, STOP, and book with Her ASAP!!

Fantastic experience: Rich was a wonderful planner and really took care of my husband and I. She was very on top of timelines and we had regular meetings the month of the wedding. At the wedding Rich and Bianca were an amazing team! Bianca really made sure things went well in the bridal suite and outside of it. everything made it's way back to my mom's after the wedding and Rich was so kind to deliver some essentials to our hotel. It was a wonderful event and I was able to enjoy the day without cares

Fantastic experience: We booked the Partial Package with Fervent Designs because we had already done a lot of the heavy lifting before booking with the team but just needed some assistance. We chose to go with Fervent Designs because we wanted to do a Nigerian Cultural Wedding Ceremony, a regular wedding ceremony, and the reception all on the same day and Rich had experience with doing just that. Leading up to the wedding, I do wish the communication was better just because we experienced several delayed responses. However, once we were within the 90-day window, things kicked into overdrive and the communication improved tremendously. On the day of the wedding, everything went smoothly. We were able to stay on schedule and everything was AMAZING. The bridal assistant, Bianca, is just what a bride needs on her wedding day. She was very attentive and kept me calm and fed throughout the day. We used fervent designs for wedding planning, decorations, floral, catering and happy hour entertainment (her father played the saxophone). Everything went well and we received so many compliments on how the day turned out. I would definitely recommend Fervent Designs especially for multicultural weddings with a time constraint.

Fantastic experience: Richandra, "Rich", has impeccable devotion to her craft. I can not fully express the gratitude that I have for her company's (Fervent Designs) organizational expertise and flawless execution of two events and will not hesitate to call upon Fervent Designs for all of my personal and/or corporate events in the future. Fantastic experience: I booked Fervent Designs from Bridal Extravaganza January 2024. What drew me to this company was the knowledge of my venue which was the Museum of Natural Science in Houston, TX. Richandra who is the owner has worked for over 15 years with the museum in multiple capacities. She knew all the rules and regulations so it made planning a breeze. We had a very non traditional wedding and Fervent Designs was able to help facilitate that. Richandra met with us very often to make sure ever detail was planned. Day of I had multiple teams members from Fervent to assist with all aspects of the wedding. Truly an unforgettable time. Thank you so much Richandra and team for planning this event.

Fantastic experience: Rich and her whole team did amazing. We had a challenging locating and a fair amount of moving parts as well as challenges along the way, but thankfully, we had made the right choice. I was sent reminders and listened to when I had questions or concerns about (anything really). My best man made a comment of how I could be so calm during. It's because we trusted Fervent Designs, and our plan. From the planning to reminders to options on decisions, I honestly thought, had only one outcome. As stressful as everything was, we never once felt it was out of control, or that it was anything but our vision for our union. Thank you again for the teams amazing job!

Fantastic experience: What I could say about Fervent designs can be turned into a book, but I will try to keep this short. Rich was a dream from start to finish, from blowing me away at the bridal show all the way to personally dropping off my wedding license at my doorstep with OFFICAL COPIES. I have never been a planning type of lady, especially not for 100 people or more. I was blessed to find Rich; she made everything so easy, she had vendors all over, and most were lovely. I had one odd experience and she handled it. (And it was the one vendor I picked outside of her; guess I learned my lesson.) But it was handled repeatedly by her until it was done. I was overwhelmed a lot and she talked me through things, it helped keep me grounded when I felt like I was drowning in wedding stuff. She MC’d My rehearsal dinner, she hosted my wedding beautifully? Wow. I was nervous when my bridal assistant was not going to be her, but Bianca was a gift from God. All my worries melted. SHE LISTENS SO GOOD. That woman knows how to have fun and keep things calm all while keeping things moving. Immaculate professionalism from Bianca, Rich, and the rest of her lovely staff. One of my dear friends of 10 years said, “I never knew my girl deserved and needed to have a wedding planner till I saw yours.” I had so many people refer to her by name, even my guests who liked to complain had nothing but compliments. I do not plan to get married twice, but I will see her and her 11/10 staff when my baby shower happens. Thank you for a magical night.

Fantastic experience: We had an amazing experience with Rich and her entire team at Fervent Designs for our January 2023 wedding at the Houston Museum of Natural Science. I met Rich at the Houston Bridal Expo in January of 2022 and immediately knew I was in good hands. She had experience working with our unique venue and was prepared to help from our first consultation (before we even hired her)! Her meticulous attention to detail was evident in every step of the process, from invitations and vendor recommendations to multiple venue walkthroughs and personalized catering tastings, resulting in a tailor-made bespoke wedding. She came prepared to every meeting and kept us on track, ensuring every detail was considered and accounted for. We had a near disaster when our cake vendor canceled two weeks before the date and Rich skillfully managed to solve the crisis before I even had time to stress! She tactfully handled our large and boisterous family, ensuring everyone was where they needed to be when they needed to be there so we could focus on the joy of our wedding day and the life we are building together. I am so grateful for her ensuring our priorities were the focus - a private first meal, lively celebration, and so many little details that made our wedding feel so unique and special! Rich's professionalism and problem-solving abilities ensured a seamless and memorable celebration. We will certainly be using Fervent Designs for all of our life milestone celebrations. We highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I had the pleasure of having Rich as our wedding planner for our special day in August! I have known Rich and Bianca for quite some time now as I started as an intern during college with Fervent Design! Little did I know I would keep my promise to myself and have the opportunity to have Rich and team by my side and through my magical and flawless event. Rich you have always amazed me throughout the years I have known you but you out did yourself for my wedding day. You were there from the beginning till the end and everything went perfectly. I did not have any second thoughts or concerns throughout the event. I sat so comfortably while you did the stress work for us. Everyone was so pleased on how the event was so well put together and how calm it was. My husband and even got to grab a bite which we did not think was going to happen. Whatever I asked for was delivered as I wanted it. Rich will tell you what will work best for you she will not sugar coat anything and that is for your own good trust me. Thank you Bianca for being by my side while I was getting ready for the day and being so supportive with your lovely words just seeing your face made my headspace feel more at ease. Fantastic experience: RICHHHHHHH!!! BIANCCAAA! They did their thing!!!! My sisters wedding was absolute perfection because of you. I got her bridal extravaganza tickets for Christmas last year and that’s where we met Rich and we were sold immediately! So relatable, funny, and professional. Their entire team was amazing! They made it so much easier of the bride and the bridal party! Thank you! We’ll cross paths again soon!

Fantastic experience: This review is long overdue, but we’ve been so busy that life is just now settling down. We used Fervent Designs for our wedding this past September, and it was a wonderful experience! Rich did one of my groomsman’s weddings in 2018, and I told her then she would be doing mine, too. Even though we booked Fervent Designs 15 months before our wedding, Rich was there monthly, letting us know our timeline and what we needed to do. Rich had a vendor for everything from booking the venue to the caterer, the cake, decorations, and anything else you might need for a wedding. She was very patient with us because, Lord knows, we kept missing deadlines on her calendar. As time got closer and we needed to make last-minute changes, Rich was right there with us, working it out as if it was the plan from the beginning. Finally, we got to our BIG day, and everything went off without a hitch! The entire day flowed beautifully, and if anything went wrong, I still don’t know because Fervent Designs took care of it. The assistant that my wife got, Bee, was also a lifesaver! She was there from the beginning to the end, helping my bride with her dress by lacing it up and making little adjustments so she could enjoy the night. The only constructive criticism I could give is that we would’ve liked to get our pricing for decorations a little sooner than we did. We were able to pull it off and get it taken care of, but once we found out the price, it was a scramble. I will say make sure you ask questions you need the answers to well before you need them. We had so much going on we didn’t bother to ask too many questions, and I believe that’s why decorations sent us scrambling. Nonetheless, I still recommend Fervent Designs to anyone looking for a wedding or event coordinator/planner.

Fantastic experience: Fervent Designs is amazing! Richandra is an excellent consultant who knows how to manage the entire bridal experience from start to finish! She has strong partnerships with the top venues across the country and can provide you the bridal experience of your dreams with in your budget. I highly recommend!

Negative experience: I strongly suggest NOT using Fervent Designs wedding planning or their DJ services. Wedding Day execution is the most important aspect of the entire lengthy process and Fervent left us with a day of painful, humiliating memories and chaos that my husband and I will unfortunately have to live with forever. The following dreadful details were shared with Fervent’s owner, Richandra, and to which her response was either an excuse or I’m sorry. I can’t have a re-do of my wedding day so this review is intended to save other couples from a heartbreaking experience. Where do I start with the list of EVERYTHING that went totally left of our expectations? 1. A precious moment in our ceremony (planned and rehearsed) was to have our 94-year-old grandmother get up and place the ceremonial broom at our feet. This was destroyed because Richandra’s team member (who was never mentioned before the wedding day) abruptly interrupted the ceremony by walking down the center aisle and snatched the broom from grandmother. We were horrified and stunned while this happened in front of ALL of our guests. Grandmother was heartbroken and there was nothing I could do to give her back that moment. 2. Richandra gathered all our guests after the ceremony and gave an unsolicited 10 minute speech plugging her business and personal couples advice while my husband and I stood there in disbelief. It was so incredibly unprofessional, awkward, and humiliating that our wedding planner took the microphone and center stage for herself! My family said they saw the horror on my face. 3. The Fervent team Richandra brought on the wedding day was very unprofessional. Our wedding was a black-tie event and her team came dressed unprofessionally in faded shirts, jeans, tennis shoes, even pink crocs! They sorely stood out. Catering team, bar tenders etc. were all in uniform. Fervent’s team was rude & bossy to guests, were caught drinking from the bar and eating on the dance floor! 4. Richandra, Fervent’s owner, danced on the dance floor during the reception as if she was a wedding guest herself. Completely unprofessional and our guests absolutely noticed this. To add insult to injury, she did not execute table and chair placements around the dance floor as we strategically planned, which left my guests awkwardly standing all evening. 5. Fervent’s DJ services we additionally paid for was HORRIBLE. I gave him an entire playlist of music choices/songs in addition to things NOT to play (sexual/booty rap). He did the exact opposite. Didn’t play songs from list but instead played music I strategically told him not to! He was playing an inappropriate sexual song at the introduction of my father-daughter dance. So embarrassing! He completely killed the vibe I planned for our reception by playing music that did not fit our guests demographics. DJ was a waste of money. 6. Richandra enlisted a “hype” man to be on the microphone and dance floor during our reception and this was never discussed during planning. This hype man (also dressed unsuitably for a black-tie event in t-shirt & orange tennis shoes) was on a college-party level. Yelling in the mic at us (bride & groom) to get up and dance, yelling at the guests to do this and that. I was so humiliated! All of the above ultimately led me to go hide in the bathroom and cry the rest of the night. My cousin had to convince me to come out and say goodbye to everyone. Please choose from other wedding planning companies to avoid a disastrous wedding day. I’m still processing and trying to get over it.

Fantastic experience: Rich and her team are amazing! They helped make my fairytale Disney wedding become a reality. The planning, decorating, florals, making sure I was stress free, recommendations, and overall genuine passion they had making sure my day was everything I could ever dream of was definitely excited. For a wonderful and professional wedding experience I highly recommend them. I definitely will be returning for future events I have!

Fantastic experience: Rich and team were the help I didn't know I needed. Married 2/5/23 and from the moment we met I knew I wanted to work with Rich. She was thorough, knowledgeable, easy to talk to and always made me feel like my concerns were heard. From the vendor referrals (found my caterer thru the Fervent Designs team ), vendor and bridal party communications, weekly checklists and reminders, the support was something I couldn't have put a price on. As a do-it-all bride, it was so nice to know that I could call someone who would and could take things off of my plate. Our wedding day was so beautiful, smooth, I didn't have to worry about the small stuff and the Fervent Designs team made sure we got through everything on our timeline. Fantastic experience: TL;DR - Enjoy your party and hire Fervent Designs to worry about the small things for you! My husband and I met the Fervent Designs team at a wedding convention and we were initially hesitant to sign up for a consultation but after talking with Richandra (Rich) we decided, “why not do it, it’s free”. The initial call went well - Rich asked about us as a couple and how we envisioned our big day going from the venue to the color schemes, etc. We told her we were planning an out of town wedding and were possibly looking for help and ended the call saying to give us some time to think about hiring her. My husband and I talked it over and decided to hire them so the next day we emailed her and signed the contract for partial planning. The first two months of our contract Rich made sure that we had our major vendors booked and gave us recommendations when needed. She also gave us an initial budget breakdown of roughly how much everything would cost which helped us see where we could make budget cuts (we also saved money by buying/hiring some services from Fervent Designs). Over the course of the next year she would send out emails checking in on us as well as sending us reminders of when things need to be done. PAY ATTENTION TO THE REMINDERS! It made our wedding day so much easier as we essentially had everything booked, planned, and paid for two weeks before the wedding. The day of our wedding I was given a bridal assistant Alyssa who was amazing and made sure I was hydrated and cooled off in the summer Texas sun. The Fervent team also did an amazing job trying to keep the day on track as much as it could. Rich made sure that my husband and I ate and had drinks during the reception, which is something most couples forget to do. She also made sure that we got to take photos with family and friends, do our plushie toss (what we did in place of a bouquet / garter toss), and our sparkler send off; all of which we had discussed with her as being important aspects of our wedding. At the end of the night, the Fervent team packed up all of our belongings and food into our vehicle so all we had to do was get in and drive back to our hotel. Keep in mind that no wedding or event will be perfect and there will always be hiccups. That said, the Fervent team helped to make the day as wonderful as possible and we are ever so happy we hired them to slay our day.

Fantastic experience: Fervent Designs provided us with such a great experience, I can't truly express how grateful I am for them! From the beginning when we were first interviewed, all the til the last guest left our venue, they had us covered the whole way! They work with your schedule, give you a timeline to follow, and provide the best options for you based on your budget. I'm so thankful that they brought our special day to life. I highly recommend Fervent Designs if you're in the market for a wedding planner. They take a lot of pressure off of you, and provide excellent service!

Negative experience: I'm still processing my wedding. There were things I loved about it, but at the moment the memory is full of disappointments which I entirely attribute to my absolutely horrible wedding planner. She messed up badly and I'm still angry.

Negative experience: Sharondra or whatever her name was not helpful and very poor communication. Who wants a planner who can't maintain a good line of communication. Poor quality of service.

Negative experience: Called to inquire about events/planning. Girl that answered was speaking in a very condescending manner and also sounded like she was eating at the same time while talking. Management really needs to retrain their staff on how to be professional and respectful.

Negative experience: Horrible customer service, Unprofessional & Rude. Very upsetting in my encounter and communication with Rashondra Nikerson. You're better off going with another planner or doing it yourself

Fantastic experience: Rich and her team did an awesome job with our wedding back in Nov 2021. We had our wedding in a city neither one of us lived in and she took the task and made it work. She was very organized, communicated very well with all parties involved, and truly made our day run smoothly. She took our vision and brought it to life. I wouldn't think twice about rehiring her or recommending her to others.

Fantastic experience: Richandra is an amazing event planer and coordinator, she threw a company party at our restaurant for her team building event and she was very organized and professional about everything prior and during her event. They also decorated the room very nicely and gave amazing speeches about their goals and vision for the company short and long term. Definitely recommend their organization coming from similar industries. She will definitely coordinate my wedding for sure.

Fantastic experience: Rich and the Fervent Designs team are just excellent. My husband and I first met with Rich in Feb 2020. We started planning a wedding for 200 guests for Aug of 2020. There was not a lot of time, and Rich hit the ground running. In a matter of weeks, she aligned me with my venue and several of my key vendors. Then came COVID. Rich was incredibly supportive while my family weighed out the best approach in the pandemic. We settled on postponing our celebration to 2021. Rich maintained contact with me throughout the delay. She kept me calm through all the uncertainty. When it came time to pick back up again, Rich hadn't missed a step. Her planning process with simple to-do's throughout each month made it easy for me to follow what was still outstanding. In the end, I had the day of my dreams.

Fantastic experience: The Fervent Design team exceeded our expectations for our micro-wedding in the middle of the pandemic, by making excellent recommendations for everything we needed, and in many cases offering their own in-house services that were even more affordable and just as nice as a third-party would have provided! Everything was socially distanced, and planned in the safest, and most thoughtful way so that guests could enjoy themselves and not have to worry about Covid. In addition, Rich and everyone we encountered through her have the kindest dispositions, and just seem to really love what they do! Our guests are still talking about how beautiful everything was, and how impressed they were with Rich and her team. Would highly recommend her and the Fervent Designs team to any couple looking to have a beautiful, well-planned, low-stress wedding - during or post-covid.

Fantastic experience: I would Definitely give Fervent Designs 5 stars! Rich and her team were excellent and made my life so much easier. They are very detailed and very thorough with everything. Sooo on a side note I’m lazy and didn’t want to plan anything with the wedding due to COVID and I loved that we had a weekly checklist to make sure that I had Everything right and In time for the wedding (it’s a procrastinators dream). Having fervent design as my coordinator made my wedding planning a breeze and I would definitely recommend them. I promise YOU WON’T be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: We first met Richandra when she was the coordinator at our friend's wedding. My wife plans events for a living and she knew that we needed her without a doubt. Richandra was amazing from day one and she did a great job of keeping all the details leading up to our big day organized. She knew what questions to ask and made sure that we were remembering little details that likely would have missed without her. When it came time to our wedding day we were so relaxed and were able to enjoy everything because there was nothing to worry about! Richandra and her team had everything handled.

Fantastic experience: So many good things to say about the Fervent Designs team. I recently got married on 05.10.19 and everything was awesome. I strongly suggest having a wedding planner or wedding coordinator to help plan your special day and of course my referral is Fervent designs. Richandra helped us stay on task and executed successfully the day of. On the day of my wedding Ashley was my assistant from Fervent and she made sure everything went as planned and everybody stayed on point. They made everything so stress free, I wish I could do it all over again.
