Fantastic experience: Wendy and her team at Each and Every Detail were amazing!! From the moment we arrived at the church they were right there to answer questions and to help get pieces in place. As the mother of the bride, I sought out a “day of coordinator” so that I could spend my day focused on my daughter and my expectations were exceeded! They were there for us all day, as long as we needed, and even cleaned up for me at the end of the day. I quickly learned that if a guest had a question, I could direct them to the team and I could go back to the wedding; my guests always walked away happy! There were a few things that I asked Wendy to take care of (placement of extra flowers, moving gifts) and I only gave the instruction ”make it cute”- did she ever!! She saw my daughter’s vision and ran with it. Using Each and Every Detail for my daughter’s wedding was the best investment and if my other two children get married in the DFW area, I will be contacting her again!!

Fantastic experience: First I want to say if you are on the fence about hiring a wedding coordinator, figure out how to pay for it and DO IT! Second, if you are considering Wendy and her staff at EE&D know that you are getting a team committed to making your day everything YOU want. Hiring Wendy was one of the best choices I made.Wedding planning is stressful..no lie. And having EE&D there to walk me through who I needed to hire, when I needed to do things, and curating vendors for me to select from was amazing. There are always bumps along the way with planning an event like this and Wendy was able to adapt and make changes when we were faced with these challenges. Including having to fire a caterer and hire a new one within 3 months of our big day. Having her staff there to coordinate the day of allowed us to be present in the moment and celebrate our love and commitment to one another. Fantastic experience: Hiring a wedding planner was definitely one of the best decisions we made for our wedding because we knew NOTHING about how to get started or what to do. We were walked through every step and if there was confusion about anything, Wendy was always an email or zoom call away to answer any questions we had. She wasn’t there the day of our wedding but had a stand-in for herself and I am so sorry I cannot recall her name but she was absolutely amazing and the biggest reason why our day went perfect! She was there to make sure I ate and drank when I felt overwhelmed and forgot (no passing out here!) and made sure everything ran according to schedule. Biggest thanks to her. There’s multiple tiers within each and every detail that you can choose from based on how involved you want them to be in planning your wedding but no matter how involved they are the ultimate creative control will still fall to you so you always have final say before anything is solidified. They took a lot of stress off of us in the process of planning our wedding. Big thanks to everyone who helped us get through!

Fantastic experience: Wendy and her team are very thorough and detail oriented which is of course an expectation when hiring a planner, but their team goes above and beyond! As a florist and rental company, their timelines, layouts, and details make our job easy to meet and exceed expectations!
Negative experience: Unfortunately, my experience as the bride with Wendy from Each and Every Detail fell far short of our expectations. While we hoped that Wendy would help make our wedding day special, several aspects of her service were deeply disappointing. Vendor Recommendations: Wendy’s vendor suggestions frequently did not align with our budget or preferences. Execution of Details: There was an over load of meetings and notes recounting all details for Wendy to “staff” properly and ensure details were executed, despite this she neglected the details. I provided detailed instructions and photos for place settings, however, they were executed incorrectly. The ceremony chairs, which were supposed to be uniform, ended up mismatched (see photo), and the aisle setup was so poorly done that my now husband had to fix it. Despite her claims of full service and design coordination, my mom and I ended up planning, designing, and picking out everything ourselves. Wendy’s team was promised to stay with the bridal party all day, but no one was present with us. With no guidance as to when we should head to the ceremony area or do pre-wedding photos. Wendy’s departure for lunch before the ceremony was not discussed as a plan, and although she mentioned she would not stay until midnight, she never indicated she would leave immediately after the ceremony. Critical details like setting out stepping lights were neglected, with lights left charging from the day before, and furniture for sitting areas was never set up. Day-of Coordination: On the wedding day, Wendy's absence during crucial moments added to our stress. When I asked her to bring a program to the photographer, she informed me she was going to lunch with her team and left me to try and find someone else (see text message screenshot). This was especially problematic since we had provided lunch for everyone on-site. Her absence led to a missed cake delivery and placement issues that I had to manage myself. Wendy’s team did not fulfill their promised role, leaving us without support. Communication Issues: Wendy’s excessive messaging asking questions (over 200 text messages and countless calls) to our family members, who were not involved in the planning process, caused confusion. She also directed unexpected issues with our rental vendor to be handled directly by me, contrary to her initial promise of being the direct contact for vendors. This disorganization on the day of meant our photographer and videographer had to step in to manage the timeline and coordination. Lack of Support: Wendy left immediately following the ceremony, and her minimal presence was noted with frustration by our vendors. The only reason we had our planned dances and speeches was that I had to personally coordinate these with the band’s MC. This lack of support put undue stress on my mom and added to our frustration. Conclusion: Wendy’s service fell short in many critical areas. Her lack of organization, poor communication, and minimal presence on the wedding day created significant stress and frustration. I hope this feedback helps future clients make a more informed decision. Unfortunately, our experience with Wendy from Each and Every Detail did not meet the high standards we had anticipated, especially considering her high cost. The only stress on my wedding day came from Wendy and her team.

Fantastic experience: Working with E&ED was by far our best investment for our wedding! My fiancé and I worked primarily with Natasha for the planning stages, and transitioned to Jenn as our day-of coordinator. Natasha helped us find our perfect venue, pre-vetted vendors in our price range, handled all communication with our vendors and attended all our vendor meetings with us. Jenn joined our team in the final month, and our wedding day was so smooth and stress free! We knew there was no way we could have managed on our own, but the E&ED team went above and beyond and knocked it out of the park! In addition to being great at their jobs, they are also kind, sweet, thoughtful people and we loved getting to know them!

She was good about answering emails back and finding the best vendors for us. Our wedding couldn't have happened without her. We wouldn't have caught all of the little details if she hasn't had helped us. I highly recommend her, and we will miss having her being a part of our lives. I wish we could have spent a little more than 8 months working with her.

The name says is all...they were such a calm and organized presence during the entire wedding journey. Natasha and her team, just made everything PERFECT. Every wedding has "hiccups", but Natasha was there to make sure none of the guests knew about them. Even packing up to leave the venue, there wasn't one item that I didn't come home with...everything was packed up and organized - AMAZING! (She ended up being out sick D:) But Natasha stepped in and executed flawlessly on the day of! I really don't know how we would have had this wedding without them. We didn't know the first thing about planning a wedding but Each and Every Detail made it easy. They got to know us as a couple, what we imagined our wedding day looking like, etc. Then sent us choices in vendors they had worked with before and they knew were reliable. So we narrowed it down from there. It really made planning so easy and a whole lot less stressful. They kept us calm, worry-free and just walked us through the choices and timelines. We completely trusted that they had it under control. And I'm glad we did, because our wedding was perfect! But beyond the planning, we were taken care of on the day of our wedding. They made sure we were eating and drinking, kept us on time, and if any speed bumps were hit, we didn't know about it. We cannot think of a single thing that went wrong or that we would change. And even better, we truly got to ENJOY and EXPERIENCE our day! So thank you, Each and Every Detail! You delivered everything you promised and more!

Fantastic experience: I want to start by saying Wendy is great! She is a force! She keeps calm and gets stuff done. It's seemed thus far like she is in the background pulling all the strings and lining things up in a subtle yet very productive way. That being said, she's sooooo mean to me! She won't let me wear velvet leopard print because according to her, and I quote, "You're not Elvis and even if you were that is not in your color wheel." She has also not allowed me to have a traditional Viking ceremony with the ridiculous excuse of, and I once again quote, "You're not even remotely of Viking descent and you can't just loot and pillage Downtown McKinney even if it is your wedding day." In the end though she is a great wedding planner and cool person, even if she won't let me dress like Elvis or have a Viking wedding.
Fantastic experience: Holy moly... where do I begin? I am the director of events at my venue so I am in the industry to some capacity and when I began my wedding planning process I thought I could do it without a wedding planner. HAH. My only regret during the planning process was that I didn't hire Wendy from Each and Every Detail sooner. Every bride needs to budget for a wedding planner, especially if you want you and your family to enjoy this special day. Once I hired Wendy I automatically felt this huge weight taken off my shoulders, I fully trusted her and her amazing team to make all the ideas and dreams of my wedding come to life. She helped me with the design, gave me ideas to set my wedding apart from the weddings we see every day and recommended so many great vendors. Wendy is a lifesaver - one of the main things that happened that will prove how amazing she is and that you need to hire wedding planners sooner rather than later is the following. I was working a wedding 2 weeks before my wedding and I got my bridal pictures back... I was already extremely iffy on who I hired (before hiring Wendy) and when I got the pictures back it just proved that she was not the right fit. I immediately e-mailed Wendy (knowing I probably wouldn't hear back from her for a day or two because it was Saturday night) and she called me maybe 5 minutes later. I of course, was crying. She said "why are you upset? This is my job, let me fix it" the next day I had two quotes within my budget and set a date for my trial run. Wendy offered to come to the trial run to make sure I was taken care of and they came to my house for it! I mean - WHAT? I just can't say enough good things. Hire Wendy, thank me later and CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Fantastic experience: 100% worth it! Brooke helped turn my Pinterest ideas into the real wedding of my dreams! She was on top of everything and always had recommendations that worked within our budget and experienced advice when we were struggling with decision making. Having Brooke and her team throughout the planning process and the day of allowed me (and my mom) to enjoy such a special day without any stress or worries.
Fantastic experience: TL; DR Summary: Wendy and her team are excellent. There's no way we could have done everything without them and even though it can be a large part of your budget, there is definitely value in the services of someone who is truly an expert. Full Version: After getting engaged, one of the first things my fiancée and I did in early 2017 was to look at wedding venues in North Texas. As we visited them, we asked the staffs which wedding planner they would recommend. Wendy Kidd and EED showed up on almost every single list. After meeting with her and one or two other planners, there was no doubt that Wendy was the way to go. Are her services cheap? No. Is there value in her expertise, connections, guidance, and abilities? Absolutely. We were fortunate to work directly with Wendy and I have to admit that we didn't make it easy for her. Even still, she was able to help us blend authentic Texas experiences with the expectations of New York families to create an event that was elegant, fun, and uniquely us. She laid out expectations from the beginning and worked diligently to guide us through the realities and trade-offs that planning a wedding comes with. She always told us what we needed to hear, even when it wasn't what we wanted to hear. Perhaps most impressively, she did a great job matching us with vendors who fit both our budget and our tastes. On the day of, our mothers arrived at the venue ready to work and were literally amazed because there was nothing for them to do. Wendy and her team had taken care of everything; our parents were able to enjoy the day, spend time with family and friends, and celebrate our (long-overdue) marriage. We cannot recommend Wendy enough; she and her team are excellent at what they do and were an integral part of a day that we will remember forever.
Fantastic experience: I cannot imagine my wedding day without Wendy Kidd and the team at Each and Every Detail! Before I met Wendy, I had already found a few vendors on my own and was trying coordinate everything myself. Boy was that a huge mistake. I spent months stressed out and dreading for nothing. Once I met Wendy, she helped coordinate a wedding of my dreams – and within our budget! She is great listener and able to make all your jumbled thoughts/wants into a reality. Wendy also set me up with some amazing vendors that made our day look and feel extraordinary! I cannot recommend Each and Every Detail enough! There were definitely some unexpected issues that came up leading to the day of our wedding, and Wendy stepped in and took care of all the issues. The day of our wedding was an absolute dream. If something went wrong, we didn’t know – everything was absolutely perfect! I have gotten so many compliments from friends, family, and vendors about how well organized everything was and how much fun they had at our wedding. I cannot thank Wendy and her team enough!
