Fantastic experience: Our family has attended many Pop events in the past, but nothing compared to having them plan our own wedding this September. Fantastic experience: My step-sister had used Pop Parties for her wedding, and my dad was happy to use them again. Honestly, I was happy for any help with planning, but Molly and her team exceeded all my expectations. Your wedding day is one that you always dream of, but nothing goes as expected. At my own expense, this is my true and unfiltered story: 1) I didn't follow-up with a scripture reader, but it didn't matter because Molly's team had already printed the verses and put them on the podium, 2) my dress didn't come with a bustle, so Molly C and Molly R MADE ONE out of safety pins as I ate our private meal, 3) chocolate got all over my second look but Molly C came in with a Tide pen immediately. I sound like a mess, but things don't always go according to plan - when that happens, and it will, these are the people you want in your corner. They're worth more than you'll pay. They were so responsive and answered my every question, no matter if it was the weekend or 9pm. And because of them, my husband and our loved ones had an exceptional day--filled with syringe shots and a life-sized corgi cake, which were a few of the amazing details that Molly and Molly saw through. Forever grateful for them and cannot recommend them enough. TL;DR - wedding days like any other, won't go according to plan, but Pop Parties will have answers for everything and make it exceptional!

Fantastic experience: Pop Parties and our lead planner, Molly Rasmussen, are nothing short of amazing. We are parents of four beautiful daughters with the two oldest married for several years and the two youngest recently walking down the aisle. So, this was not our first rodeo in planning a wedding. But for reasons we will explain shortly, having Pop Parties, Molly and their Champagne Package working for us was a godsend. Their hard work, guidance, and creative talent put together two weddings and three incredible receptions for our two youngest daughters. We know, three receptions for two daughters! Let us explain. Starting in early 2020, yes, the year of the “Virus”, we were challenged with planning a wedding. The July 2020 wedding was pre-vaccine with lots of local mandates and restrictions. Planning a wedding is normally very stressful but doing so in a pandemic is especially challenging. Just seven days before the wedding, we had to postpone the original plan of a 280+ wedding and downsize to a 28-person wedding due to extraneous “Covid” circumstances. Pop Parties worked tirelessly using their experience and most importantly, their incredibly good relationship with vendors to downsize the July 2020 wedding and reception. In just two short days, everything was set with a new venue and all the fixings that gave our daughter a beautiful wedding and reception she will never forget. Despite having to change plans on a moment’s notice, we never lost one cent of our many deposits. Every vendor was incredibly gracious to extend the deposit to the new date for the reception, and we credit Molly and her reputation with making that happen. Their strong relationship with vendors is another testament to the value Molly and Pop Parties brought to our wedding experience. Twelve months later, just days before their one-year anniversary, our daughter and her husband celebrated with their 280+ guests at the reception of their dreams in the original venue that included the band and all the formality they planned. Molly and her team went above and beyond to navigate us through this wedding and for that, we are forever grateful. But we weren’t done with wedding planning. In December 2021, just five months later, we celebrated our fourth daughter’s wedding and reception with the help of Pop Parties, Molly and her amazing team handling all the details. Again, we chose the Champagne Package because, the level of service it offers, takes a huge amount of stress from the planning process and most importantly, provides an anxiety-free wedding day. Molly was meticulous about all the details, large and small, relieving us of the worry we might have missed an important item. She worked closely with our daughters to understand each girl’s vision for their special day, then created a budget and a theme to express those dreams within our limits. Molly’s keen ability to think outside the box and to develop innovative designs was truly amazing. Early on, we learned to trust Molly’s judgement and vision, and are so glad we did. The result was two spectacular wedding receptions that left our guests in awe, not to mention both brides and grooms. The look of amazement on the faces of the newlyweds was priceless when they got a sneak peak of their venue prior to opening the room for the guests. We truly cannot say enough good things about Pop Parties, Molly, and her team of professionals. We have all the confidence in the world they can do for you what they did for my two daughters. She and her team went above and beyond to make the day more than perfect!! Down to every last detail, we couldn't have asked for anything more. The florals, vendors, and everything else they recommended and put together were top notch-- which is to be expected from the best service provided by Pop Parties! From the ceremony with special details to start including a gospel choir, the harpist at cocktail hour, the insane florals and unique design of the reception, the fire dancers with a Pit Bull impersonator... to flipping the indoor space for the most epic after party. We never wanted the night to end! Molly not only brought so much creativity but so much organization and peace to the wedding planning process. We loved getting to have all our family in friends at the best party we have ever been to. The whole process was so seamless it made the day that much more special as we weren't stressed about anything, and knew Molly had it taken care of :) Can't wait for the next big celebration we can use Pop Parties again for!!! There is nobody else I would trust with it!

I knew I wanted one, but I had to convince my parents. They initially thought of a planner as an unnecessary expense. However, I got my mom to meet with Pop Parties, and they completely opened her eyes to how much help we actually needed. Once we chose Pop Parties, my parents were instantly sold. Using Pop Parties actually ended up SAVING them money!! When my mom and I were looking for vendors ourselves, we had no idea who would fit my budget/style, how much things should actually cost or what services the vendor should be providing. After speaking with Molly, she immediately pin pointed which florist, DJ, etc. would work best for us. It saved us SO much time, and we felt confident knowing Molly trusted our vendors. Each vendor knocked it out of the park. We were also particularly grateful for Molly the day of. Because of Molly and her assistant, my family, my husband and I were able to relax, spend time with our loved ones and completely enjoy the day with no worries. My wedding meant so much to me, and I am a total control freak, so to relinquish all control to Molly means I totally trust her! Her assistant even made sure my parents and my drinks were fresh all night - we were blown away by the level of service. I can honestly say my wedding day was perfect. She is very honest and open with her opinions but she also honors and appreciates yours- she is great with finding a happy middle ground to make the best decisions for you. She has personal relationships with the BEST vendors in Dallas- so when it comes to vendors she is your #1 go to gal. Molly is a creative genius & will make your wedding YOURS which is what I loved most about Molly. I wanted people to walk away from my wedding and say "wow, that was so Tara & Gaines" and that's exactly what she did. My wedding had an Oliver themed cocktail hour based on our dog, Oliver (this was complete with Oliver themed cocktails, Oliver drink stirrer sticks, and a giant floral Oliver centerpiece with Oliver shaped place cards). We had performers complete with instruments as our dinner table "centerpieces" performing music live our entire dinner. We had a surprise "reveal behind the curtains" Margaritaville themed after party because Gaines and I met at a Jimmy Buffett concert (this included a tropical floral halo, a "Gibson-ritaville" vintage postcard photoshoot, margaritaville hats, and tropical shaped jello shots). That's not all- because myself and my family are in the McDonald's business we had Hamburglar surprise our guests at midnight with Happy Meals! It was the little unique touches that meant the most to me when planning the wedding and Molly executed x a million. She was the brain behind all of the ideas and helped craft our day/ night into one we will NEVER forget. Monogrammed flip flops placed in the bathrooms at 11pm, a personalized cigar lounge in honor of my dad outside, monogrammed water bottles placed on all the buses, welcome bags included all of Gaines and I's "favorite things", every detail came together perfectly and I have Molly to thank. The best part of the entire day/ night - myself, my husband, and my parents had the GREATEST time without a single bit of stress. I was a bridesmaid in another wedding that Molly planned and saw how stress-free and happy my friend and her family was on her wedding day and that was the ultimate selling factor for me with Molly. Yes, of course things will happen because you are planning a massive event but with Molly as your planner you will NEVER know and everything will run flawlessly. I cannot praise her enough and am so excited to continue to be a bridesmaid/ guest at weddings she plans (because you know they are always the best). Fantastic experience: I worked with Pop Parties for my wedding this summer and cannot say enough wonderful things about them! Jenna was our primary partner for the full service planning and I don't know what we would have done without her. From the start, she listened to my vision and understood it right away. I asked a lot of questions and she was awesome in being honest about selecting vendors who she knew were dependable and could give a 5-star execution. She worked with both my sister and then myself to help plan our weddings (while living out of state) and hit it out of the park both times! Fantastic experience: When I began the process of searching for a Wedding Planner/Coordinator many of the ones I spoke to would simply list off their services and prices and needed to know exactly what package I wanted. I knew after my first phone conversation with Jenna at Pop Parties that I would 100% be hiring her. Jenna wanted to know what I wanted in a wedding planner and what I thought I would need help with. She was patient as I took time deciding between partial and full-time planning and helped me make the best decision. After the planning began Jenna still treated me with the same care! She was patient with a lot of my indecisiveness and provided helpful information at all of the right times. The gals at Pop Parties are SO sweet but most importantly, organized and on top of things. It can sometimes be difficult to hear all of the true facts/costs associated with weddings but Jenna was strait forward and always presented me with varying options. Because I worked with Jenna for the whole year, it made the weeks leading up to my wedding (as well as the wedding day) run very smoothly. Luckily Jenna and the Pop Parties team have great relationships with some of the BEST vendors so whether you choose full-time or partial planning, you will still be 100% taken care of. I have a very Type-A/Hands-On personality and sometimes struggle to relinquish control. Jenna quickly learned my personality and was basically able to read my mind just a couple of months into working together. On my actual wedding day I was able to relax and enjoy every little detail because Jenna and her team had it all under control. Fantastic experience: We love our Jenna! She truly does handle everything. The weekend of the wedding - if she needed a question answered from me, it was a simple "yes or no" question. There was no stress on me or my family to handle anything (rehearsal or setting up ceremony/reception) because she just did it all for us. Fantastic experience: Getting the flu and losing my voice about 10 days before my wedding was just the icing on the cake that I needed, but because I had Molly—everything about our wedding and the day of worked out flawlessly because of her, Jenna and Kassey! He and I came to a compromise and decided to go with a partial planning service with Pop Parties, but if there were any way for us to do this over, we both also agree that the full planning service would be the only way to go! Fantastic experience: I had been dreaming about my wedding for a few years prior to meeting the best Dallas wedding planner aka Molly Rasmussen and her team at Pop Parties so I had already been looking for a Dallas wedding planner by the time we met. I had some issues finding the right person and was referred to Molly by another well known planner who I knew I could trust based on her reputation. I had seen Molly's name years before as she worked at what would become my reception venue a few years ago and there were nothing but great reviews of her there. So it was kind of fate I think that I ended up hiring Molly. There is nothing negative I can say about my experience throughout the year long planning and design process. We definitely had challenges which included both my ceremony and reception space both being remodeled at the same time. Molly always had option B and even option C to present when informing me of a problem and I really appreciated having options even though I usually ended up sticking to the original plan. She always ensured me that everything would turn out great and I had nothing to worry about. I can't say enough about how glad I am that I hired a wedding planner as wedding planning can be very time consuming and there are a lot of details and information that if you haven't planned an event before you will have your work cut out for you. This took most of the stress off me and allowed my family and I to just relax and enjoy not only the process, but the wedding day itself. They take care of everything for you such as the timeline so everyone knows where they have to be and at what time. If anything went wrong they were there to take care of it and resolve it. Positive experience: I’m pretty detailed and organized but I also struggle with making decisions, so I got a partial planning package with Pop Parties (in between day-of coordination and full planning). Jenna was a great resource to provide insight and feedback on many topics, and provided vendor recommendations based on what I wanted, which made the planning process much easier for me. She’s quick to respond to emails, texts and phone calls. When it came to my wedding day, Jenna handled EVERYTHING. She really stuck to the schedule and was attentive to our needs – I always had a full glass of wine! Jenna even took care of a few things that came up after our wedding, while we were still on our honeymoon. I’m so glad I had her on my team of vendors and don’t think my day would have been as perfect without her!
