Fantastic experience: I'm not sure how I managed to plan anything for my wedding before I had Anne's help. Pre-wedding, she kept me on track through every step, answered every question, and took over communications with all of my vendors so I was so much less stressed and could focus on having the best day. On the wedding day, Anne and her team helped bring my vision for a circular wedding ceremony and lots of greenery come to life. It was BEAUTIFUL! They made sure everything ran smoothly all day and that my husband and I did not have to worry about a thing. I cannot recommend Anne and ABU enough!

Fantastic experience: The absolute best decision we (ever) made was hiring All Buttoned Up Events. We often say that we could never have done our wedding without Kelly and her team, and while that feels very true, what we know to be true is that we would not have wanted to do it without them. Kelly is phenomenal. She works incredibly hard and truly did an absolutely amazing job. When we first started planning our wedding, I called several planners, but it was instantly clear we needed Kelly. Her expertise is evident from the first conversation, and she is such a joy to work with. Fantastic experience: I don’t know what I would’ve done without Anne and All Buttoned Up Events leading up to and on the day of our wedding. It’s so comforting knowing you have a thoughtful partner throughout the process to bring you such a magical day/weekend. It rained on our wedding day but Anne was there every step of the way (including running through the pouring rain!) to make sure everything ran smoothly. Planning a wedding—especially a backyard wedding—can be stressful, but Kelly’s organization, experience, and constant communication made our year of planning feel relaxed and enjoyable. Fantastic experience: I worked with McKenzie Hennes at All Buttoned Up for my wedding this past March and only have positive things to say. We did the partial planning package, so our first official meeting with her was just a couple months before our wedding, and it felt like a breath of fresh air. She seamlessly and beautifully handled all of our stationary and signage, took over communication with our vendors, helped us create a timeline that suited our needs, and wrapped all of the planning up so nicely. Her calm and cheerful attitude made the months leading up to our wedding feel so much less stressful so that we could soak up every moment of excitement and anticipation. On our wedding day, McKenzie was on top of every detail. I didn't have to think (or worry) about anything planning-related and, instead, I could just completely relax and enjoy every moment knowing that she had the logistics under control. In fact, I had unknowingly forgotten to finalize an order for a small cake that my husband and I would cut at the reception, and McKenzie seamlessly worked with the baker (on the morning of our wedding!) to whip up a cake entirely behind the scenes. I was so happy with McKenzie's service from start to finish and, with her help, feel like I truly had the wedding of my dreams. I can't recommend All Buttoned Up enough!

Fantastic experience: I don’t know if I have enough words to describe how incredible Kelly and the ABU team are! They are truly worth their weight in gold. When I messaged Kelly, we had our wedding date and the venues booked – but that was it... for a wedding that was in five months. I wasn’t even sure what the next steps were, but once we connected with Kelly, she just took it from there. She made every step of the process simple. She got to know my style, honestly probably better than I know my style, and came up with incredible design ideas and allowed me to pick which ones I liked best. The same goes for vendors – we would get a list of Kelly’s top choices that were available for our date, and she would have us pick our favorite. The pictures speak for themselves on the incredible work! And when I tell you every vendor said they loved working with Kelly, were excited to be working with her again, and “that we were in the best hands”, I mean every single one told us this and they are not wrong! Getting ready to head to the hotel for the rehearsal and our wedding weekend, I almost felt as if I was forgetting something because it was that easy. I just had to make sure I had my rehearsal dinner dress and wedding dress – Kelly had everything else handled! The wedding weekend was perfect, and Kelly and the ABU made sure everyone and everything was taken care. From hair and makeup schedules (having been in multiple weddings, let me tell you how huge this is!), food for the bridal party, making sure everyone is on time, steaming our dresses, the list goes on and on. ABU goes above and beyond. It doesn’t just stop once your wedding is over – little did I know about some of the follow-up items that are needed after the wedding, but Kelly had those handled. When there were questions, she was just as responsive and handled everything as quickly after the wedding as before. Kelly is extremely organized, with great attention to detail and professionalism. Her warm, welcoming personality makes her a joy to work with, but don't let that fool you, she makes sure stuff gets done! I cannot recommend Kelly and ABU enough if you are looking for your dream wedding and a planning process that feels easy.

Fantastic experience: We worked with Anne from all buttoned up and had nothing but the best experience! The meetings prior to our wedding were super easy and efficient and they made our lives while planning sooo much easier. Like if you’re on the fence at all about a wedding coordinator, we would 10/10 recommend including it in your budget. Anne and her assistant were both amazing the day of as well. The timeline was well thought out and made for the best day. They handled whatever issues or requests came up without us needing to be involved. We didn’t have to even think about the set up or clean up of all our decor which made it so we were entirely focused on enjoying every last second of the day and living in the moment. Again, just not enough great things to say about our whole experience with All Buttoned Up!

Fantastic experience: In short, I don't know if I have enough words to describe how much I value the ABU team. Hiring them was the best decision we made for our wedding and worth the expense. They went above and beyond, executing a wedding weekend that surpassed our expectations. We planned a two-day celebration blending cultures with a large guest list. Initially overwhelmed, Kelly and McKenzie took care of everything. I cannot praise them enough and would hire them again in a heartbeat. If you’re looking for a wedding planner, hire ABU. You’ll feel at ease and gain friends in the process. Overall, ABU listened and made everything feel so elegant and elevated. Starting with keywords like comfortable, artsy, modern, and guest experience, they created a design pitch showcasing everything from floral arrangements to layout, signage, linens, and centerpieces. Their professionalism and attention to detail were evident in every aspect. Frequent meetings, both in-person and digital, reassured us that our weekend would be amazing. Their extensive vendor list and experience in selecting the perfect vendors were invaluable. They guided us through contracts, helping us understand where to invest and where to save to stay within budget. They were also flexible, working with vendors specific to our cultural needs for day two, such as our Eritrean band and traditional food and drink. Lastly, they nailed the timeline, ensuring our guests felt comfortable and we appreciated all the little touches—fans and beverages before our outdoor ceremony, a watercolorist creating personalized favors, a colorful custom cake, personalized line drawings as bar inserts, a custom logo, and rugs as the dance floor at our cultural day two reception. They took the time to understand the significance of each element and found creative ways to integrate them into the overall design. We wouldn’t have thought of half the details needed to execute such a perfect wedding, let alone find the time. Thanks to ABU, we truly enjoyed the wedding planning process and were able to focus on our lives outside of it. That was the greatest gift we gave each other by hiring them.

Fantastic experience: I genuinely cannot capture just how incredible Kelly and her team are. From the first day we met, she made my husband and I feel calm and sure that our dream could become a reality! It is clear through every conversation that she is so passionate about what she does, and everything is executed beyond perfection! I am a sucker for small details and she was so incredibly patient with me as I made small changes to papergoods, seating charts, etc. She was also incredibly patient with us with big changes when we changed our mind a couple of times along the way. We had a large multi-event weekend, and they pulled each one off absolutely perfectly. I cannot recommend Kelly and the All Buttoned Up crew more, the wedding and the team were nothing short of magic. See the photo for just how far they will go to make the event perfect- as we were on the dock we were thinking how nice it would be to get photos in a canoe. Before we could start walking back to shore, Kelly and her team were in the boat and on their way! 100/10!!!

Fantastic experience: Words cannot express how incredible Kelly and her team was for our wedding. We will refer her to anyone and everyone that will listen! We booked Kelly and our venue in Grand Rapids, Michigan and then we moved out of state 5 months later. And still, all was planned to perfection. We received SO many compliments on how smooth the entire weekend (from rehearsal, to wedding, to morning after brunch) went. We were an hour ahead of our day-of itinerary from how efficient she was. Fantastic experience: I don't have the words to describe how amazing All Buttoned Up was at designing, planning and making sure our day went seamlessly. From the start, Kelly and McKenzie worked with us on creating the wedding of our dreams. We started with a Pinterest board of ideas, and they put together a design even more perfect than I could have imagined. We followed a timeline of things we had to get done, and it took so much stress off of us, as planning a wedding is already stressful in itself! The day of the wedding, the team went above and beyond at making sure every single thing was taken care of. My dress kept getting makeup on it and McKenzie was there with wipes in her purse wiping down my dress. I didn't get one of our late night snacks and Kelly hand delivered one to me on the dance floor (lol). These are only to name a few of the ways Kelly and McKenzie went above and beyond for us the day of the wedding. There are so many details you don't realize on a wedding day, and this team was prepared for each thing. Myself, my husband, and my parents still talk about how wonderful of a job Kelly did. Fantastic experience: We worked with McKenzie for the better part of our 2 year engagement and could not be happier with our decision. She helped us get our vendors locked in and came with great recommendations. We currently live out of state and her expertise was extra appreciated when looking for vendors in the vicinity of our desired location. Once vendors were booked, McKenzie worked through our timeline with us and touched base monthly so we could keep things moving along and not feel rushed. The design she put together was spot on and she took all of our little details into consideration. Having her to communicate with our vendors as the wedding got closer was such a relief and really took the stress away. Meetings switched to weekly as the day approached and they were perfect touch points to make sure everything was moving along as it should. McKenzie was great with communication between calls and very responsive when going back and forth to perfect details such as signage and invitations. She made sure we were happy with every decision and helped us to make beautiful design choices when we were unsure of where to even begin. McKenzie met us at rehearsal and was wonderful in talking us through the logistics. Her timelines were impressive and super helpful! Wedding day she and her assistant picked up our cake and also delivered lunch to the wedding party. If anything went awry that day, I had absolutely no idea. That's how awesome McKenzie and team were. She met the vendors at the venue and ensured everything was in place on time. We were absolutely blown away with how the space came together. Our vision came to life elevated. We had so many compliments and they all need to go to McKenzie and ABU. Execution was flawless. Not only did the design come together perfectly, McKenzie was thoughtful and kind through the entire process and kept our day completely stress free. We'll be gushing about our day for years to come!

We thought planning our wedding from a distance was going to be a huge challenge, but Kelly made it feel as if we were there, in Michigan, with her the entire time. From helping us coordinate with vendors to bringing our vision to life, she and her team ensured everything was perfect. It wasn’t just the big items, but the details as well: working with us until we were 100% happy with our paper goods, tracking the smallest details on the day of our wedding, etc. Her suggestions were very on theme for what we were trying to achieve, and we never felt an ounce of pressure to go with one of her suggestions if it wasn’t what we wanted. She was very clear from day one that she is here to bring our vision to life, whatever we wanted. She even helped to successfully negotiate with some vendors when we were unable ourselves to get from them the result that we wanted, taking a load of stress off our shoulders. Somehow, she always made us feel as though we were always on schedule. Even when we knew we were behind on making decisions / finalizing certain details, she made us feel as though we were right on track. We could not give Kelly a better recommendation.

Fantastic experience: All Buttoned Up and specially our planner McKenzie did a wonderful job planning our wedding. They were detailed and helped make all of our ideas come to life. The only thing id recommend as a client is either doing the month of or full service and to potentially steer away from the partial (which is what we did) as it can get a bit murky on what ABU does and what the client does. However, that doesn’t effect how great their team did in handling our event. Would highly highly recommend ABU for your wedding planning needs!!

Fantastic experience: There is so much that I owe and would like to say to Kelly and the All Buttoned Up Events Team, I know I won't be able to capture it all in one review, but here it goes. The only "stressful" thing I felt during the entire planning process, one full year, was that of the guest list. Literally, the only task outside of ABUE's jurisdiction. The remaining (and countless) tasks of the wedding planning process was handled, professionally and graciously, by Kelly and Team. From our planning phone sessions, to our vendor and venue visits, I felt completely supported by Kelly and Team. Our wedding took place in Northern Michigan, which required multiple weekend trips to finalize plans, of which I assumed we would go alone and provide back our notes. Not the case. Kelly and Team not only joined for these visits, they would arrive early and setup anything needed, so that when we arrived, everything was laid out and ready to go. The catering session, Kelly and Team had the different tablescapes laid out for us to visualize what it would look like on the big day, making the taste test an even more remarkable experience. When meeting with the Venue's coordinator, Kelly had her large binder of notes and questions ready to go, so that each necessary detail, of which I would have never known or thought to ask, was covered in these meetings. Floral visit, Kelly had already sent my requests and vision to the team, so that during our meeting, we were able to gawk at beautiful florals, and have fun together. If there was ever a moment of uncertainty in these meetings, I would look to Kelly, and she knew what to do. The sense of relief we felt by having Kelly and Team there every step of the way, I can tell you with total certainty, is the only reason we were able to ENJOY the planning process, as opposed to feeling stressed and overwhelmed. All Buttoned Up Events' services was a gift from my family, to which I hope I can gift to someone I love in the future, as I now know first-hand what a gamechanger it was. Fantastic experience: My wife and I just got married on December 30, 2021 and we selected the full service package through All Buttoned Up Events for the wedding planning/coordination. Our wedding coordinator/planner was Alaina, and she was amazing! Although she had a busy schedule of other weddings that she was coordinating when we first started working with her, she did an amazing job helping us select vendors, giving us tons of options for all aspects of wedding planning and design, and taking the weight/stress of coordinating everything off of our shoulders. The month prior to our wedding and the wedding day itself is where Alaina and her assistant, McKenzie really shined. Alaina coordinated and led the entire rehearsal at the church and was super helpful with in making sure everyone knew where they needed to be on the day of the wedding during the ceremony. Alaina delivered us breakfast AND lunch to our hotel rooms the morning/afternoon of the wedding, which was incredible. She even bought my wife a margarita to have on the party bus because the venue wasn't able to add tequila to the bar for her drink at the head table. Alaina and McKenzie took care of all of the set up and tear down at the reception (we didn't have to do any of it) and made the day super smooth. She checked in with us regularly, was always available, and always on top of everything. My wife and I literally didn't have to lift a finger the day of the wedding, we were just able to enjoy the day and relax. Alaina and McKenzie took care of everything and made our wedding day the most special day ever. I'm not sure how we would have done it without them. To top it all off, Alaina drove to our house the next day and dropped off our cake, all of the leftover food in nice containers, and all of our gifts for us. We didn't have to clean up anything after the reception or worry about any post wedding tasks. My wife and I left the next morning and had a nice breakfast and just drove back to our house, All Buttoned Up did everything else. From the bottom of our hearts, Alaina and her crew at All Buttoned Up did such an incredible job coordinating and planning our wedding, we really can't thank them enough. Fantastic experience: Kelly and her team were beyond amazing! We used All Buttoned Up Event’s month-of coordination package to assist with final details and day of help. This was the perfect option for us, as we had all vendors in place and needed help with coordination and making sure we didn’t miss any details. I spoke with Kelly weekly up to the event and any time in between. She always had the answers and went the extra mile to help. She kept us organized and on time the day of the wedding. She did all the behind the scenes work and checked in with the bridesmaids, groomsmen, vendors, and event space throughout the day. I am not sure how people plan a wedding without the help of Kelly and her team. If I could do it again, I would hire them from the beginning of planning. In May 2020, it was just under 6 months before my wedding, and I found myself depressed, confused, and apprehensive about the prospect of trying to navigate planning what is supposed to be the best day of my and my future husband’s life in the middle of a global pandemic. Since March, I had put all planning on pause and was too nervous to get committed to vendor contracts amid so much uncertainty. And then Kelly and her team came along. I had not previously considered having a planner, but in this situation, I realized I needed help… and in hindsight, I needed help regardless of Covid! There is no possible way we would have been able to accomplish even 10% of the specialness in our day without Kelly and her team throughout the planning process and the day of. She seriously helped all my dreams – all the big and small details – come true. Kelly immediately got to work with me to assess where I was and what our first steps were going to be to get vendors lined up, details confirmed, and guests informed that we were moving forward with our wedding in November 2020. We live in Chicago but wanted to have our special day in Grand Rapids, and Kelly helped us pull it off very easily. Kelly and her team are exceptionally efficient and make the best use of everyone’s time, which is a huge benefit to have while trying to plan and work fulltime. All the vendors Kelly connected me with – catering, bar service, hair and makeup, DJ, floral, linens, transportation, hotel blocks, paper goods, etc. – were all FANTASTIC. And I honestly would not have found any of them on my own…. Which would have drastically changed the entire experience for us and our guests. All Buttoned Up Events is worth every single penny. Seriously. I would partner again with Kelly in a heartbeat and would recommend this company to anyone who is getting married. Despite where I mentally and emotionally started out with Kelly in this process because of Covid, I quickly started to have fun again because of Kelly. And, it wasn’t just me. Fantastic experience: Kelly and her team helped me plan my wedding back in 2016. By far All Buttoned Up was the best money I could have ever spent on my wedding! I was planning a Grand Rapids wedding while living in Indianapolis and they helped me select vendors and organized the details of our wedding from A to Z. I did not want to be the bride who is setting up the venue herself the day of her wedding haha. Specials kudos to the team because I provided them with all of my decorations the day prior and they set everything up! Day of, they transformed the Downtown Market greenhouse into a fairy tale. My jaw dropped when I walked in to see it after they decorated. The team also made sure the wedding party and timeline were on track, everything was planned and nothing missed. They helped us plan the New Year's Eve wedding of our dreams with only a 6 month timeline. The process was as stress free (And even fun!) as possible. Kelly was amazing from start to finish, catering to every need we had from the start to the day of the wedding. She designed our invitations and save the dates, designed a budget, and arranged all of the contracts with our vendors. She reminded us about wedding details we didn't even know existed! Because of her amazing relationship with all the vendors that she has worked with, she was able to secure every single vendor that we wanted on the short timeline and even secured vendors that had already turned down other events for the same date. Everyone at the wedding had compliments about how smooth, beautiful, and fun the whole day was.
