Fantastic experience: Once you're engaged and you begin to wedding plan, no one tells you just how much planning and work goes into it. I highly recommend getting a planner and I'm happy I chose to work with Donielle and team at Elegant Events Planning + Design. Donielle and her team are professional wedding planners with tons of experience. I couldn't imagine doing everything on my own. They were helpful from beginning to end. They provide a portal to use that lists everything you need to plan, including a budget. They offer unlimited times to meet with them and have evening availability, which was super convenient. They keep you on track with planning which was what made me feel most comfortable. With so much to book and figure out, their keeping things on schedule process is exactly what I needed to keep me sane during planning. They help with scheduling with all of your vendors to save you time and provide vendors with different price points. Tara worked very hard behind the scenes with scheduling and sending over invoices and such. When it came time to get to the design of things, Cyn is your go to person. Very detailed and doesn't miss a beat. Not to mention super professional and friendly. She loves what she does and it shows. Donielle was such a pleasure to work with and meet with each week. At the end of planning I was sad our time had come to an end. If you've recently gotten engaged and need some extra help in planning your special day, I'd recommend working with Donielle and her team at Elegant Events. Oh, I can't forget to mention the bonus that they help you plan your honeymoon too! We had a fabulous time in St. Lucia and I enjoyed the process of researching destinations with Donielle.

Fantastic experience: We are so thrilled that we chose Elegant Events to coordinate our wedding day!!! We selected coordination services (begins 6 weeks ahead of time) and our lead coordinator Cyn took full responsibility in working with all of our vendors in terms of set-up and take-down logistics, paperwork for the venues, and detailed instructions about our vision. She met with us as often as we wished and went above and beyond to make sure we were all on the same page. We had a complicated wedding schedule over multiple days, with both Hindu and Catholic ceremonies, and she did not miss a beat. We worked together through their planning interface (which is amazing because it captures every detail from the hair and makeup schedule to the seating chart). During the wedding weekend, we had additional coordinators on site including Denita, Jae, and Mo and all three of them were amazing. Not only was the team well organized with excellent communication skills, but they truly cared for us and were invested in making this our perfect day. They eased all our anxieties with their joyful personalities, and they made everything seem effortlessly smooth. Fantastic experience: My husband and I were married in April and I could not recommend Donielle and her team more. We had toured over 10 venues prior to deciding on a planner and within the first phone call Donielle found the perfect place. We were planning our wedding from another city and it was so incredibly helpful to have elegant events recommend and also vet vendors especially if we were not able to meet with them in person. The software that they have is very user friendly and Tara is so quick to respond. Every vendor we used spoke so highly of Donielle and only had wonderful things to say of the team. Planning the wedding itself you clearly see how knowledgeable the team is, but on the day of they really go above and beyond. A bridesmaid dress had to have a last minute clean and morning of Donielle and her team took control and made the situation so seamless, we forgot it was even an issue. Fantastic experience: We had a mixed culture wedding. I am Japanese and my husband is Indian. We wanted a traditional Hindu wedding which is also modern and elegant. We knew what we wanted but no idea where to begin or how. Donielle really listened and studied our visions and at the end, our wedding was beyond what we imagined. Whether you choose to have a wedding planner and which one really changes your year of wedding planning. Yes wedding planning is exciting and can be stressful. Your wedding planner will be someone you talk regularly throughout the year and navigate you through various wedding tasks. Having a wedding planner is a choice and is an investment but trust me it is worth it. If you choose Donielle and her floral team for your wedding, you will get the wedding of your dream at the end. I can tell you that from our experience. They really took on a difficult task of combining our culture together in an elegant and most beautiful way. Our guests were so impressed by who flawless the wedding day went (we blocked Broad street for Baraat!) and how beautiful the ball room was at the Bellevue hotel (highly recommend this venue too). We appreciate Donielle and her team so much and we even miss them!

Fantastic experience: We had already decided and booked our wedding at the Please Touch Museum, but I knew I needed help with planning everything else and wanted someone who was familiar with the venue. I googled wedding planner Please Touch Museum and Donielle’s information was the first to come up. I liked her right away and she made our decision to move forward pretty easy. She provided us with a lot of great insight and linked us up with really great vendors. She was so helpful narrowing options down for us to make things less overwhelming. Her review of all our vendor contracts and knowledge of what to confirm or adjust was really helpful. Leading up to the big day, she helped with all the logistics and dealing with the vendors, again, much appreciated. We had a mishap with the seating chart and she dealt with making sure everyone was at the appropriate seat, while we continued to enjoy our evening. Everything ran extremely smoothly and turned out the way we wanted to. There are so many options and ideas out there and you can really go down a rabbit hole researching things. Donielle was so helpful listening to what we liked without even having a full vision of what we wanted and was able to translate that into a beautiful event. Fantastic experience: Working with Elegant Events was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning process. We worked closely with Donielle from the beginning. She was always professional, always on time, and always added value to the process. We loved having access to Aisle Planner, which Donielle provides, because it made it very easy to manage the checklist, our vendors, and our budget. As a bride, starting the planning process was a little challenging for me because I didn't have a "dream wedding" that I'd been planning in my head all my life. We told Donielle and Cynquetta that the theme for our wedding was: VIBES. And, we can say without a doubt that the VIBES were had at our wedding. We had so many people compliment us on how they could tell we thought about every detail throughout the wedding, many people saying it was one of the best weddings they've ever been to. We couldn't take credit for all that - shout out to our wedding planning team! I also really appreciated having Donielle by my side on the day of, leading up to the ceremony. Things started to get a little chaotic and I was getting anxious leading up to that moment, and she did a great job of clearing the room for me, checking in on what I needed, and making sure people were where they were supposed to be. That process would not have been as smooth without her. I will say, we did not have the same experience with the design team. It often felt as the design team and the planning teams were two completely different teams - had we had known we might have hired a different company to do our design. We didn't feel that the design team was as attentive in understanding our needs and what we're looking for - or at least helping us to be comfortable with parts of the design we weren't sure about. But, luckily our venue didn't need a whole lot of design, so it worked out fine, and Donielle and Cynquetta worked to help get answers and alleviate any of our concerns when they came up. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend hiring Elegant Events for your wedding planning needs. You won't be disappointed. Thank you, Donielle & Cyn for helping to make this such an amazing memory for us and all of our loved ones.

Fantastic experience: We worked with Elegant Events for our two-day summer 2024 wedding. Our wedding consisted of a ceremony and reception at the Philadelphia Museum of Art on day one and a cultural reception 45 minutes outside of Philly for day two. Needless to say, there was a lot to manage and keep track of! Donielle and her team were organized, communicative and complete experts about all the various details that go into planning a wedding. Donielle made our wedding practically stress-free and we can’t thank her enough!

Fantastic experience: When I got engaged and my husband and I decided we wanted to have a camp wedding, I knew right away I’d need a wedding planner. I’m not the creative type, work full time in a high stress job and knew I didn’t need the extra pressure of planning a Thursday-Sunday wedding weekend alone. Donielle was referred to us by a friend of a friend who was also using her for planning their wedding and highly recommended her. We met with Donielle and knew after our first meeting that we wanted to work with her on our wedding. While Donielle had not planned a camp wedding before, she let us know that she was absolutely interested in adding this to her portfolio and assured us she’d be involved in every step of the process. She did her due diligence in meeting with us several times to really understand our vision and concept, and then her team was quick and diligent in finding several potential venues within a time frame of about 1 year out. She accompanied us to our first visit to a venue 3 hours away. She was extremely knowledgeable at the visit and based on her expertise I felt comfortable moving forward with the venue. Even though the venue (camp) was in somewhat of a remote area, she and her team found us multiple options for each vendor with the goal of creating an ELEVATED camp experience for our reception. While our initial concept and vision changed throughout the course of the year somewhat, she worked with us to make sure we nailed down everything perfectly and when we hit the limit of where we wanted to be budget-wise, was understanding and worked with us to make sure that we achieved our vision without pushing beyond the limits of our boundaries. I truly would not have been able to pull off this camp wedding of our dreams without her and her expertise and advice, and was able to rely on her throughout the process to make sure deadlines were being met, decisions made in due time, etc. I also really appreciated the software that she uses to keep projects and planning in line. Donielle stepped up every chance she had to take some of the planning burden off us. She is professional, friendly, approachable, and was even key in helping the bride manage some family drama the night of the event, which I greatly appreciated. Her assistant day-of, Donna, was also an absolute angel and we very much appreciated her help as well. Highly recommend, 10/10 service.

As a church volunteer, the Elegant Events team was thoroughly professional and a delight to work with. I am quite sure that everyone would agree the wedding went beautifully from start to finish. Fantastic experience: Donielle and her team are the only planners we seriously considered for our wedding—and for good reason. From that first Zoom call, it felt right. Donielle always shows up with a smile, but also tactfully considers everyone involved, nudges her clients as needed, and honors the wishes of the families that are coming together to celebrate love. She and her team not only seem to love what they do, but they know their stuff. As a couple from out of town planning what was, for us and most of our guests, a destination wedding, we leaned on Donielle and team to give us the real deal on any other vendors we considered. When we signed on the dotted line with Elegant Events, all we had was a venue and a date. Donielle and her crew helped us fill in the rest: they gave us great recommendations for a photographer and a cinema team, snagged us an incredible last-minute cake bakery, and put together incredible florals for us (even after we had a change of vision late in the game). And yet, on the day of, I was in for another surprise. I thought that during the planning process I’d seen what Donielle and her team were made of—but that was just the tip of the iceberg. Every moment of our big day was executed to absolute perfection, even in the face of so many unavoidable mishaps. They quickly rearranged the order of our reception to compensate for an elevator logjam at the venue. They worked with the Kimmel Center staff to secure our florals when the sprung floor threatened to knock them all over (we literally rocked the house). And throughout the day, Donielle was so incredibly attentive to my needs as the bride—from a post-first look bathroom break to a pre-photo hair touch up to walking me down to the street to see if the sidewalks were dry enough for outdoor photos after the rain cleared. I cannot imagine our incredible wedding day without Donielle as the conductor, keeping the trains running smoothly, and as close to on-time as possible given Mother Nature and happenstance. Don’t hesitate to have a discovery call with Elegant Events. And if the energy feels like a match, book them. They’ll be everything you dream of in a planning team—and more.

Positive experience: We planned a wedding June 2024 at the Logan hotel with the Elegant Events Planning Team. We engaged them after we had booked a venue, caterer, and deejay. We engaged with the main planner Donielle for the event and signed a contract with them October 2023. We had monthly meetings with Donielle. Overall, I would recommend getting greater clarity than we did on their services and planning style to ensure it aligns with yours. For transparency with the vendor, we shared the feedback below directly with the team prior to posting. 1. We appreciated the connections to the vendors: the henna artist, hair & makeup team, stationary, florist - they were all great. 2. We liked the Zola technology better for managing guests lists, checklists, but we really appreciated the planner team walking us through a checklist on our monthly meetings - and giving us guidance on when things needed to be done. 3. Through the initial planning, we felt at times that we had to repeat the same items many times. For example: 1. We shared we were having a Friday night event many times, but it was not noted. 2. We shared we were not doing a Baraat many times3. The planner shared a few times that we can get parents involved in helping us, when we had advised of my mom’s stroke and her inability to do so (and was a sensitive topic for me) 4. A deeper understanding on what our planning package entails up front would be helpful. We thought it was more of a full planning service, rather than more of a coordinator. 5. The day of planner wasn’t brought in until the last month or two. We had no understanding that the person we had been speaking to for the last 6+ months would not be on site with us 6. The planner in the last week reached out to the priest directly via phone. Because I was doing all the coordinating with the priest, he had emailed me back directly and not cc’ed the planner. It was challenging to have the planner reach out, give them unconfirmed info on who would be his main POC today, and have to go correct it. 7. The day of planner team was not very helpful. - My family played a large part in directing where people should come in and out of - We had confirmed that we would process from the the library and the planner set up procession to be from the board room Both the bridal party and grooms party were confused about lining up and walking down the aisle, and there was minimal direction from the planner team. My family ended up organizing where the groom was going to process and recess. - The bridal party got stuck outside (because the door locks behind them), before they were supposed to walk down the aisle, and the planner did not give them great guidance on if they were ready to go, so they just waited, and were worried without any queues given - We had confirmed the recession would be to the library - and had requested the library to be cleaned up (and will be providing this feedback to the venue as well). The library was not cleaned up. - The priest was taken to the wrong room to sign the marriage certificate, despite our plan. The wedding photos were delayed significantly. - The florist team had started dismantling the flowers on the mandap BEFORE the photos on the mandap were taken - There was no planner helping with the organizing of the family photos on the mandap (Or if they were, it was ineffective!) - I lost my key card at some point, and I had requested that a planner help find the key card in the room so we can go take pictures, however she said she was unable to do so (to be clear I was NOT asking her to go down to the Logan Hotel team and get a new key card). She didn’t look for the keycard, and then one of my bridesmaids went to the front desk and got a new one for me. It would have been nice to know when the planner was going on vacation (going on vacation is totally fine!!) the few weeks before our wedding as well - as I know there’s always catchup that needs to be done, and we may not always be walking into things on the same page.

Fantastic experience: I wear multiple hats with the entertainment company that I work for in the respect that I do sales during the work and DJ events during the weekends. In my sales capacity I have had the pleasure of working with Donielle countless times. In my DJ capacity, though, whenever I have had the pleasure of working with Elegant Events Donielle was always on a different event. Last month that finally changed, and I had the tremendous pleasure of working with her at Noelle and Siavash's wedding. Often I am asked whether or not I prefer to work with a planner. My answer is always, "it depends on the planner," as many impose themselves in a way that is actually a detriment to the party, or simply sit there doing nothing and aren't helpful at all. Donielle is not only a good planner, though, she's a GREAT planner. Where do I even begin? Suffice it to say, she made my job as seamless and easy as possible. Anything I needed she handled as expeditiously and efficiently as possible. Often at events, due to circumstances beyond our control, things happen and we have to make changes to the gameplan on the fly. The few times that this happened at this wedding, Donielle handled it with sophistication and grace, keeping everything flowing as smoothly as can be. Fantastic experience: Donielle Warren and the Elegant Events team are THE TRUTH and, in my opinion, the best in the business. My daughter got married in June and the wedding was, in a word, ELEGANT! From the start of the planning process until the wedding date, Donielle and her team took every detail into consideration bringing to life my daughter and her fiancé’s vision of their day. To start, Donielle includes everyone in the process because she understands that a wedding brings together two families, not just the bride and groom. Before the wedding day, Donielle felt like family. She met with the bride and groom initially and then my two daughters and I met with her via Zoom. Donielle had the brightest smile and sweetest demeanor. I knew before the end of the meeting that she was our planner! Donielle was extremely professional and organized. She set up the wedding portal that everyone could access which included vendor information, to do’s for all parties and timelines for every single part of the planning process - from day one planning to the day of wedding. I have planned a couple of other weddings before but never have I had someone so detailed and organized. When a deadline was approaching, Donielle would send a gentle reminder and if ever we had questions, no matter how small, she promptly called, emailed, or texted us. We put our full confidence in Donielle, so when it came time to choose florals, we hired Donielle’s floral team, and they did not disappoint. They were just as professional and knowledgeable. The florals were stunning and perfect for the space that we chose. On wedding day, Donielle showed up in full “boss lady” mode, though never losing her sweet demeanor. She had the wedding party, guests, vendors, and staff in place and on time for each segment of the day. Nothing was too small nor too large for her. I needed eyedrops that morning and one of the bridesmaids needed a conversion kit for her earrings. Donielle had her staff on it immediately. I could go on and on about Donielle but I will end by saying . . . HIRE HER!

Despite choosing their most minimal package, she was there every step of the way with recommendations and guidance. They were always available for questions or to help with vendors and logistics. Throughout the months leading up to the wedding, they made sure all of the final details came together and were able to pivot with some of our requested last minute changes. For the wedding week, rehearsal, and day, Donielle took 99% of the stress off my shoulders and let me just enjoy everything. The wedding was beyond my wildest dreams and we could not be happier. Fantastic experience: The Elegant Events team made our wedding so magical. Everyone keeps telling us how organized it was and they are the reason for that. They not only helped us plan a wedding but also helped us understand what a wedding is supposed to be about. And they helped the vendors all get on the same page which was key to a seamless weekend. They managed all the activities at the venue brilliantly. We literally transformed that space and they were the orchestrator of it all. Most of our wedding party had zero wedding experience. But nobody at the ceremony would have been able to tell since we were rehearsed and prepared so well. Thank you to the team for making the weekend so wonderful.

Negative experience: Donielle Warren was our wedding planner. She is very nice and friendly, but unfortunately, our experience working with her wasn't incredibly positive. It appeared that her team was very overstretched with the workload of weddings they took on this year as Donielle was late/mixed up the times of multiple meetings (one of which I set up with a vendor at the mercy of her schedule), took very long to respond to texts and emails, and always had a full calendar which would often require us to wait 1-2 weeks to speak with her when we needed to. I had initially recommended her to a few friends back when I was still happy with her services and I since learned that she either never responded to their inquiries or had an intro call and then never followed up. The team she brought to our wedding day didn't seem very well versed in the timeline and one of her assistants almost had me enter the lobby of the venue when all of my guests were there rather than the correct time during the ceremony. Donielle is also somewhat affiliated with Elegant Events Florists (though she will say they are different businesses). They share the same address, website, and offer discounts on planning services if you work with the floral vendor. The floral vendor was extremely disappointing as well. I also felt failed by Donielle's vendor recommendations as many of them made serious mistakes during our wedding, notably our DJ who she expressed (overly so) full confidence in was an hour late to our second ceremony. Finally, in a recent email communication with Donielle, she insinuated that I was not a joyful person - which if you experienced what I went through with her- you would not have joyful feelings either. *The responses provided in this review accurately reflect the experience we had working with this vendor

Fantastic experience: Donielle, was AMAZING! Her professionalism goes unmatched, she was very helpful and responsive which meant a lot to us. I definitely recommend her and her services! We also used her florist who also did a beautiful job decorating our venue and capturing everything we wanted! I am so pleased, I wish I could do it again!

We had our wedding postponed multiple times because of the pandemic, and Donielle worked with us for over 3 years to make sure that every detail of our wedding was perfected! Donielle and her team are experts in all things wedding and it really showed during the planning process. I was a very hands-on bride through all the planning but towards the end when I had too much going on and wanted to hand just about everything off to Donielle, she didn’t miss a beat. Fantastic experience: Working with Doniella and her team was an absolute pleasure! From our first planning session up to our wedding reception Doniella was with us every step of the way. From reserving a block of rooms for our guest, to doing research on shuttle services, designing our dinner menus, and coming up with our wedding day timeline there was nothing Doniella and her team wouldn't do for us. Elegant events planning truly made planning our 150 person wedding easy. We started engaging with elegant events about 10 months before our wedding. In our early meetings Doniella helped us to establish deadlines to secure our major vendors as well as send out invitations, dress/tux shopping, and other activities. One months leading up to the wedding Doniella checked in with us at least once a week to make sure all the details were hammered out. Her team also took care of coordinating activities with all of our vendors which took a load off of me and my husband's plates. Our wedding day went smoothly and any hiccups were taken care without our notice. But I have to say the best part of working with Doniella was her personality! Every interaction we had she was upbeat and cheerful. She truly made me feel like my wedding was the most important thing in the world and that meant a lot to me. Positive experience: We approached this wedding as complete novices, never having had a family member stage a formal wedding. Donielle connected us to a group of wonderful vendors - the servers, DJ, and photographer were all great; the photographer was especially helpful in developing our wedding-day timeline.
