Fantastic experience: Kindra and her team were exceptional!!! Kindra made us feel like the most important wedding ever. Attention to detail was over the top and my favorite thing of all was her ability to anticipate my thoughts and questions before I ever asked them. From our first meeting to our last goodbye at 1am the night of the wedding Kindra had her eyes, ears and feet on high alert for everything possible that was needed and already executed. Fantastic experience: Lucia Brancato was our wedding planner for our wedding in September and she is truly SO amazing! Words cannot describe how thankful we are to have had Lucia as our planner. From our very first meeting to our wedding day, she was so incredible throughout the entire process. We were planning our wedding from Boston and can honestly say we would have never been able to do it without her. She was so incredibly helpful in suggesting vendors that were in line with our entire vision and making sure all of our wedding dreams came true. Lucia was such a positive light in our wedding planning process which at times could be stressful especially from out of state and she ensured we were always on track and she was extremely organized and informative in each meeting. Simple Elegance has such a great system from the google doc with all the meeting notes, vendor contracts, etc. to the newsletter the week off to your bridal party to make sure nothing is missed. Leading up to the wedding, Lucia made sure all of our vendors were communicated with and we were staying on top of everything. She goes above and beyond to make sure you feel at ease. We worked with Lucia for 14 months leading up to our wedding and she always made us feel like our wedding was the only one she was planning (even in the midst of planning her own) and was readily available for any questions/help we needed throughout. The day of the wedding we cannot say enough positive things! Having Lucia as our wedding planner took every ounce of stress off and we were able to be present and enjoy the day. Her attention to detail was incredible and she thought of things we would need for our day that we never would have even thought of ourselves! And the day of she did not miss a beat, she made sure everyone was on time, where they needed to be and coordinated with all of our vendors to ensure everything was going as was supposed to. Our venue looked absolutely incredible, Lucia and her assistant knocked it out of the park and we were so incredibly happy with the outcome. Our wedding day was flawless and we have never stopped talking about it and have received so many compliments on every detail of our wedding and how smoothly everything ran. I am not great at making decisions and Lucia remained patient with us throughout the entire process and making sure we were making decisions that were true to us. Lucia is patient, positive and extremely passionate about her job and makes sure everything is perfect for your day. My fiancé’ and I were sad we wouldn’t be meeting with her anymore after our wedding as she truly was the best and we are forever grateful to her for making our day such a dream! She has found her true calling and we would recommend her time and again to anyone planning their wedding!

Fantastic experience: Whenever I told anyone that Kindra Browne from Simple Elegance was my wedding planner, they told me I had the fairy godmother of wedding planners. They were right! From the very beginning, Kindra took the stress out of wedding planning. Her 28 years of experience in planning weddings was apparent, as she had worked with all of our vendors before and knew exactly how to manage each relationship. Fantastic experience: WOW! Blown away by the entire body of work from Simple Elegance, and, particularly, Paulina. We began wedding planning together a year & a half out, and she was as invested and focused from the very beginning as she was the weeks and days leading up to the wedding. While she juggled SEVERAL other weddings during this time period, you would never have guessed. She gave her all to communicating with the vendors we chose, suggesting ideas for tablescape design, coordinating the timeline of the wedding day down to the minute, and everything in between. SO many of my bridesmaids commented about how they had never seen a more organized wedding weekend itinerary. :) Some (including myself) would describe me as VERY type A, but Paulina embraced all of my late night design/inspiration thoughts & emails and welcomed it. She was the perfect balance of a guiding light when I needed it but, ultimately, let me make final decisions and was never micromanaging. In terms of the grunt work of wedding planning, Simple Elegance makes it extremely easy with ready-to-complete spreadsheets & forms. From budgeting to compiled lists of meeting notes, guest list templates, and music guides, everything was easy to navigate to and track. They have it down to a science! Paulina knew what I needed before I knew I needed it... I had collected so many decor items leading up to the wedding (cocktail hour yard games, champagne coupes for the cake-cutting, party hats for the dance floor, matchbooks for the bars, etc.), and Paulina knew where each one went. Walking into the reception, I was flabbergasted, as everything was set up as I envisioned it. She let me be present on wedding day while getting ready with my girls, which was beyond needed and refreshing... The two of us were so in-sync, it's crazy!!! One of Paulina's qualities I most admire is her calmness. She was composed when plans changed, proactive with new ideas and fresh thoughts, and confident in her approach to it all. I owe the success of our wedding to her... It 1,000% would not be the dream day I had always hoped for without Paulina's expertise. There were countless vendors we worked with that told me Paulina was the best, and I was very lucky to have her as my planner... I couldn't have agreed more and consider Paulina a friend for life. :)

Fantastic experience: It is with a tremendous amount of gratitude and confidence that we wholeheartedly recommend Simple Elegance to brides/grooms/parents who are planning their special day! Our daughter was engaged May 2023 and set an October 28, 2023 wedding date. We knew we needed a skilled, personable, and efficient wedding planner. Our daughter lives in KC but we (parents) are in Louisiana so it was important to have someone who, not only had a great working relationship with KC vendors, but also someone local to walk with our daughter through all the decisions and details that needed to be (quickly) achieved. We hired a local well-known planner we thought would be a perfect fit but, after two very frustrating months of poor communication, missed details, and lack of vendor knowledge/options, we reached out to Kindra and Emmy at Simple Elegance. Without hesitation, Emmy stepped in and served as our AMAZING wedding planner! We simply cannot praise her enough for her detailed thinking, timely communication, execution, and calm and personable personality that absolutely put our Bride's mind at ease, and endeared her to our entire family throughout this process! Our Bride had a very specific "vision" of her wedding celebration and Emmy not only immediately went to work to make her vision come to life, she also added special suggestions and expertise that comes from her educational and professional experiences. Our ceremony was created to be a beautiful outdoor ceremony...unfortunately, wedding day arrived and was an arctic monsoon! Emmy was solid as a rock on wedding day, jumping in to make necessary accommodations to move the ceremony inside. She and her team, along with our amazing florist, worked tirelessly ALL DAY to create the most beautiful indoor ceremony space! Emmy was calm, communicative, and resourceful and helped keep our bride/groom/wedding party/ parents focused on this cherished time together. She was simply a ROCK! On top of all she managed to pull together on wedding day, later, when looking through wedding day photos, we realized we were missing some wedding reception detailed photos (all the work that goes into planning every detail is often lost in the blur of the actual day!) but...Emmy had managed to enter our reception tent (remember the arctic monsoon occurring) prior to guests arriving, and had taken wonderful videos and photos of catering setup, cake display, furniture arrangement, dance floor/band setup, florals, etc! We will forever cherish these detailed video/photos that remind us of the planning that went into this event...we had MANY great photos of the wedding party and guests but truly appreciate the thought Emmy put into snapping these quiet photos that show our details. Emmy Koca is incredibly talented and we are forever grateful for her and recommend her HIGHLY!!!

We had a wedding in Kansas City in July 2023, and working with Kindra from Simple Elegance made the entire process so smooth and enjoyable. Kindra took on all the work of working with outside vendors, and all of her recommendations for who to work with were spot on. The day itself was completely stress free for us (despite being 12 hours after KC's biggest storm of the decade!), and she worked through every minor issue that came up easily. She navigated all family dynamics with grace and subtlety throughout the planning process. The Simple Elegance team and the assistants were absolute gems on the weekend of as well - from acquiring a missing bowtie to delivering everything to our hotel room at the end of the night. It wasn't until a few months into our planning process that I found out she was simultaneously planning her own son's wedding! It takes a true professional to make another couple feel just as important as her own family :) The thing I appreciated most about working with Kindra -- aside from her great taste and having planned so many beautiful weddings -- is her ability to tailor her services to what we needed as individuals. As soon as we got started, I was very honest with Kindra about my demanding work schedule and tendency to suffer from decision fatigue. Kindra knew exactly how to help me not get overwhelmed by choices and bogged down in the details. I wish I had more Kindras in my life! We still think of Kindra as our 'Wedding Fairy Godmother.' Fantastic experience: Haley was our wedding coordinator and she made our lives so much easier leading up to the wedding and on the wedding weekend! I would highly recommend working with Haley and Simple Elegance. We began meeting with Haley a couple months prior to the wedding. She told us about final details and check list items that we otherwise could have forgotten. She helped us organize all our vendor information and payment schedules. The week of the wedding, she called all of our vendors to confirm arrival times and schedule for the day-of. She emailed our bridal party and everyone involved in the wedding ceremony, told them necessary information, and made sure they knew she was their point of contact for the wedding weekend. Finally (but not exhaustively), Haley was so kind and a joy to be around during a busy and at times stressful season. Working with Haley and the team at Simple Elegance was 100% worth it!

Fantastic experience: Our journey with Simple Elegance started 2 1/2 years ago. Due to the pandemic we ended up having a small private ceremony/reception August of 2020 but then scheduled our large renewal of vows and reception for July of 2021. Unfortunately due to a family illness we ended up having to once again reschedule our reception to May of 2022. This was complicated by having to also change venues and a few vendors. Through it all Paulina was a blessing jumping right in on the multiple changes and handling the details for us. We wouldn’t have wanted to try to coordinate all of the details without her and the way she pulled everything together into the final weekend was impressively professional. I planned the wedding and chose the vendors, and then Lucia stepped in 6 weeks out. Lucia was a great resource from the start. We met with her in person for an initial meeting and she took over the vendor coordination and gave us wonderful advice. We had another in person meeting 3 weeks out with Lucia and our venue. The wedding day ran very smoothly with Lucia and her assistant Lauren. If you want to plan your wedding and choose your vendors on your own, I highly recommend getting a day-of coordinator to make sure everything gets done day-of according to what you want.

Fantastic experience: Hiring Holly was by far the best decision we made planning this wedding! We wanted to have the wedding at my parents house, but we had never had an event on the scale of a wedding there before. So we knew there was going to be a lot of different work involved with planning than if we were to hold it at a typical venue, like figuring out bathrooms, where the caterer would store food and how far apart tables would be. And long story short, we would have been TOTALLY lost without Holly! She has an amazing ability to listen to our vague and probably confusing ideas and turning them into beautiful realities. Even throughout the chaos of postponing our wedding due to COVID and then dealing with rain on our wedding day, she was totally on it at every step of the way. And on top of that, she is just a really cool person and it was a joy to get to hang out with her during our monthly wedding calls for nearly two years. Also for anyone else who is considering hiring Holly (which you totally should just do now and stop looking), my biggest piece of advice is to listen to her recommendations for other vendors. Because she's worked with so many people in the industry, she has great relationships with tons of top-notch vendors in the area. When we were first picking our team, there were a couple of instances where I had found a company on social media or through other referrals that I was leaning toward hiring over the vendors she had suggested. She was never pushy with her recommendations and in the few cases where I did pick different options, she was totally supportive. But with most of them, we ended up going with her recommendations because we trusted her vision, and they turned out to be the best options we possibly could have had. As a bonus, some of them even gave us discounts because they prefer to work with Holly and her team. All in all, working with Holly and her team was an amazing experience!! Our wedding was the most beautiful, magical day and we can't thank her enough!

Fantastic experience: As a result of COVID, 321 days elapsed from the first planned date for our daughter's wedding to the third and final date (April 30, 2021). 321 days ago, Kindra Browne was our wedding planner. Today, she is our friend. Never in my professional career or personal experiences have I seen anyone so poised and in-control in what seemed at times like impossible situations. Three separate venues, three separate contracts, scheduling, rescheduling, ordering, cancelling, holding, releasing... without EVER taking her eye off the ball on the main objective - to make my daughter and son-in-law's day as perfect as it could possibly be. Fantastic experience: When my wife and I got engaged in December of 2020, we knew we wanted a short engagement but had no clue we'd be thrown so many wrenches due to a pandemic starting after we booked our 7/18 date. We hired Paulina to be the planner for our wedding, and her ability to wear multiple hats at once was nothing short of amazing in adapting to those circumstances. We started with a plan of 300+ guests at a large venue, and ended up having 50 in my in-laws' backyard once it was clear the reception we initially planned wasn't possible with gathering size limitations. Fantastic experience: Lucia was the planner for our 10/10 wedding. We had a 250 person wedding in Los Angeles planned and then COVID hit and we had to drastically alter our plans. With 4 months to go, we had to switch to a 40 person, outdoor wedding on our family farm in Kansas City. We absolutely would not have been able to pull our wedding off without Lucia's help. From the start she was so supportive and encouraging. She helped us find all of our Kansas City vendors, answered every panicked "COVID bride" call with ease and made sure our day was perfect and special. Knowing she was on board again instantly eased our planning and minds. I can honestly say that there is absolutely nothing we would have done differently for either event. I believe we feel that way because we picked the Best Wedding Planner! Simple Elegance is a gem in Kansas City! We feel so blessed to have shared and planned these two special days with Kindra!

Fantastic experience: How can I even begin to express how much we loved working with Holly Davidson and Simple Elegance! First, Holly came highly recommended from two family friends who hosted two VERY different weddings on two very different budgets. The brides, the MOBs and the Dads all raved about Holly, and now, we know why! She is organized, professional, smart and savvy. Holly is also kind, thoughtful, graceful, tenacious and fun. She engaged both my relaxed and easy-going husband and me (type-a extreme!) in our planning process so that we both were able to see our visions come to life and enjoy the process as a couple. Holly recommended amazing vendors but allowed us to really drive the conversations with each so that we felt comfortable in making our selections. She always came to our monthly meetings with objectives, to-do lists and a listening ear. My husband and I live out of town so when we traveled into Kansas City to plan, it was critical that we accomplished a lot. Holly always came though. Whether trekking to our venue in a snowstorm or convincing a cake vendor to create a mobile tasting option, she delivered! Holly truly let us plan OUR dream wedding and supported some of our out of the box ideas with enthusiasm and delight while ensuring that the entire day was beautiful, meaningful, memorable and on-budget. (I also have to mention that Holly took such good care of my parents throughout the process, something that was invaluable to me too!) We will always feel indebted to Holly for not only helping us plan the wedding weekend of our dreams, but also allowing us to enjoy our engagement and planning process. She is the best!

Fantastic experience: Working with Kindra and Simple Elegance made the entire planning process so enjoyable. We met regularly with her throughout the year. Kindra is so knowledgeable and has an exceptional reputation with all the vendors in the wedding industry. Due to her extreme organization and detail, we always stayed on pace with her time table (and still had fun!). From the beginning, she fully understood our vision and made it come to life. She made herself available to us and was always so accommodating to our schedules. Kindra’s rapport on my wedding day gave peace of mind to fully enjoy myself and not worry for one second. My mother would say it was totally worth the investment. If you are considering hiring a wedding planner, choose Simple Elegance! If we could do it over again, we’d pick Kindra every time!

Fantastic experience: Holly Davidson was a dream to work with from the start. I live in Los Angeles and she made it a breeze to plan a wedding in Missouri. Every vendor recommendation was amazing and so much fun to work with through the entire process. Holly and her team made the day of our wedding absolutely perfect. We were actually able to enjoy every moment with our family and friends. My parents felt like guests instead of being stressed about the day. I highly recommend Holly to anyone looking for an outstanding wedding planner!

Fantastic experience: Working with Holly for our wedding planning needs was truly the best. She was knowledgeable about all things wedding, and so many wonderful vendors in the Kansas City area. She kept me in line with all the planning, gave me helpful checklists, and was a HUGE help with the timeline. She made the day of timeline, communicated it to all the vendors, along with my wedding party. I absolutely cannot imagine our wedding without Holly. The day ran smoothly thanks to her. I am pretty sure she moved mountains when a rental delivery issue happened, and I didn't even know it until after!! It was a game changer and completely worth it! Fantastic experience: Simple Elegance was simply one of the best decisions my husband and I made when it came to planning our wedding! Being that neither of us are Kansas City natives, and having both of us starting new positions in our careers, we knew we wanted and needed the assistance. We were referred to Simple Elegance and began working with Lisa Forbes. From the very first meeting, we knew we were in good hands with Lisa, and decided the full-service option was a no-brainer. Lisa took time to get to know my husband and I, identified what was most important to us, and got a great understanding of our style. She set up viewings with venues, and scheduled meetings with a list of additional vendors accordingly. She assisted in verbalizing our vision to the vendors, and honestly turned the day into the wedding of our dreams! Throughout the entire engagement, Lisa kept us on track with meetings, to-do lists, and our budget which allowed us to truly enjoy the entire the wedding planning process. We received numerous compliments on how seamless the entire flow of the wedding was and credit the way everything came together to Lisa. My husband and I both agree, it was the best money we could have spent when it came to celebrating our special day!

Fantastic experience: I was so lucky to be matched with Holly at Simple Elegance. From the moment we met, I could tell she was exactly what I was looking for. I chose to have her start at three months out from the wedding, however, Holly was very prompt and responsive when I had questions before then. As soon as we reached the three month mark before the wedding, Holly reached out to every single one of my vendors to begin communication. At that point I didn't have to worry about a thing. Anything that needed to be done, she took care of, making things so incredibly easy and less stressful for me. On the day of wedding, I already knew everything was taken care of, and if anything were to arise, she would manage and deal with the vendors and the issues. She was so patient and present on the wedding day - staying out of the way but jumping right in when needed. She made sure everything stayed on schedule and went above and beyond when an issue arose with our florist. She arrived early and stayed until the end of the night. She is well-known and respected, which helps a lot when working with other vendors in the area. You cannot go wrong with hiring Holly!! She is someone my husband and I will stay in touch with forever!

Fantastic experience: We cannot say enough great things about Simple Elegance!! Holly was truly a godsend to us during our wedding planning process. We were planning a wedding while moving to KC and starting new jobs, so we knew we needed some help making sure our wedding would be everything we wanted it to be. From the first meeting to saying goodbye at the end of our night, Holly was professional, knowledgable, kind, approachable, and always had our wedding vision in mind. Fantastic experience: I have worked countless weddings with Simple Elegance KC at more than one venue! Two of the earliest weddings in my venue management career was a two-weddings-in-a-row marathon weekend with Lindsey, who was a champ and helped make both events perfect from start to finish. Each team member is SO good to their clients. I know when someone tells me they hired a Simple Elegance planner that it's going to be a great Wedding.

Fantastic experience: It is impossible to imagine planning our wedding (I'm the MOB) without Kindra! With the bride and I living out of town, in different cities, it seemed such a daunting task, but Kindra's knowledge of vendors was incredibly helpful. She is so respected, and has excellent working relationships with them....more than once we heard "how lucky you are to be working with Kindra!". Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough about Lisa and her fabulous planning skills! I knew I needed a wedding planner as we could not handle all the details ourselves. My daughter and I met with Lisa and felt an instant connection. We knew she would be able to bring my daughter’s vision of her wedding day to life. And boy did she! Every detail was taken care of with no stress (at least for us!). When my daughter was not sure of a detail, Lisa was ready with suggestions that fit our venue. Fantastic experience: Lauren, with SE, did an amazing job making sure everything went smoothly on our big day! She made sure she knew our preferences and desires for the day and helped make it perfect! Everything was kept on track and my husband and I were able to just focus on enjoying the celebration! Even before the day of, she was so helpful and made the last couple of weeks less stressful by communicating with vendors to finalize details! We would defenitely recommend!!!

She ensured our big day went smoothly while constantly checking in on us, making sure we were happy and ensuring our wishes were respected. Hiring a wedding coordinator was the best money we spent, and Lisa and Simple Elegance were invaluable to our wedding.

Fantastic experience: There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing Lauren was! I hired her to help with the final details in the last six-weeks of planning and she was absolutely amazing! Her attention to detail, thorough communication, organizational skills, knowledge and friendly personality allowed me to fully put my trust in her! During the final stages of planning, I had little contact with many of my vendors. Lauren did the communicating and worked hard to put together the wedding weekend’s itinerary. On the day of the wedding, Lauren and her assistant were always available. They gently guided us through, so we could focus on each other and our guests! I never once worried about our itinerary, decor or the layout of the room. I could truly live in the moment and soak in all the amazing memories! Outside of my own personal experience, I’ve also had the pleasure of working with many other SE planners on a professional level as a former coordinator at a local venue.
