But I always wanted to commemorate the meaningful connection I'm making with my significant other and our families. Kat made me realize that it's the matter of who you work with and how you do it. She made everything so easy and naturally perfect that without her, I don't think I can imagine such intimate and beautiful wedding being part of my life. Even weeks after the ceremony, Kat has continued to follow up and check in with us, which speaks volumes about the kind of person she is. Honestly, she felt like family by the time everything was said and done. I don't know if Kat runs Modern Elopement or not, but if she doesn't, she absolutely should. She is that good. If you are planning an elopement with Modern Elopement, do yourself a favor and ask to work with Kat. You will not be disappointed. From the bottom of my heart, she truly knocked it out of the park. Our elopement was one of the most special moments of our lives, and so much of that experience was made possible by her dedication, warmth, and incredible professionalism. We would have meetings to plan the wedding and we're very responsive whenever we had questions. The day of, they coordinated hair and make up and made sure everything went smoothly. Even after the wedding, they supported all the way until the final pictures were received. Would recommend.

We chose last minute to elope on Oahu and only had 4 weeks to plan, so I was a bit worried that it wouldn't go exactly how I envisioned it, but everything was so beautiful and perfect. Our coordinator, Lynsey was beyond helpful and made sure every detail went smoothly. Every single person involved--photographer, hair & makeup, officiant, musician, driver, etc.--was so professional and did such a great job. Also, the fact that they have access to private venues (especially in a place like Hawaii) was a big reason we went with them, and it was worth every penny!

We planned our elopement in less than 2 weeks, and hadn’t been to Oahu in 20 years, so I did have some anxiety around how it would all turn out on the day. But, the process was really easy & effortless, and Lynsey really helped us decide on the best location for the experience we wanted. The day itself went perfectly - it was so special, private & memorable. The locations were stunning, and everyone we worked with … from photography, musician, officiant, driver, etc were all so lovely… the timing also worked perfectly based on our plans to get the best lighting. It was truly a magical day & I wouldn’t change a thing!

The day-of was so smooth I didn’t have to do anything except get ready and show up. Kat, our planner, literally guided me everywhere I needed to be and had every detail handled long before I could even think to ask. Everything was set up beautifully — it genuinely took my breath away. The vendors they curated were perfection. Our florals, photographer, hair & makeup, music, locations… all stunning and such high quality. Even when our original photographer got sick last-minute, the team pivoted instantly and found an amazing replacement without any stress being put on us. They even had a rain plan ready to go. It felt like they had already thought through every possible scenario. Our reception venue was gorgeous and we received so many compliments on the food and overall vibe. We truly got to enjoy our destination wedding like we were on vacation — no logistics, no stress, just joy — because Modern Elopement already had relationships with the best local vendors and took care of everything behind the scenes. For how seamless, beautiful, and EASY the entire experience was, we felt the price was more than fair. Hiring them was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and if we ever renew our vows, we’ll be calling them again (if they’ll have us!). Cannot recommend them enough.

We wanted a small intimate elopement and that is exactly what we got with the help of Jade, guiding us through this whole experience. She was a pleasure to work with and always communicating with us. Even post wedding when I had questions she was quick to get back to us and get us answers. The process was very easy, I really had no time to plan a wedding because I was busy trying to open a new store at the same time and im serious when I say it was so easy and simple for me to make decisions. We of course did go over our budget but that was expected with some decisions. We tried to stay on the lower end but there was some things that we wanted to keep that pushed our budget up a little. I wouldn't have done it any other way. Lastly, Absolutely in love with the photos we got back from Amanda Hartfield. 10/10- love her style and can not wait to print some out. Thank you, ladies!!

When our booking window finally opened, I worked through our hotel to officially reserve the date, and that’s when I was introduced to Jennifer. From beginning to end, I had so much fun planning everything. As someone who is very indecisive, she really helped guide me. If I didn't love something, she would always have a plan B. Our guests kept gushing about how they felt like they were “in a movie.” It was magical from start to finish. All we had to do was tell them what we wanted and show up. We both recently finished very busy grad programs and working full time, so we had zero time to coordinate the details of a wedding. Jade and Modern Elopement took care of everything and somehow were able to create exactly what we pictured in our heads and bring it to fruition. I wish we could relive that day over and over again. Best. Day. Ever! We all had so much fun and it was a small, intimate but lively bunch of us. Experiencia fantástica: As a bride who loves to be in control, it was hard to let go and let a coordination service take reigns on the wedding. However, during the day of the wedding, Jade Mason and her assistant Kat was able to seamlessly lead me and the 30 other guests into a seamless day. Our wedding was a little fuller than most elopements and had more coordination than other typical elopements, but I found myself not having to stress out. The makeup team and the photography team that came with the package was AMAZING. The dinner reception was the perfect place for our intimate 30. I have nothing bad to say except if you like customization, you can still enjoy an elopement package because their options are great... however you'll need to let go and let the MVP team do the rest ;)

I had to postpone the wedding once because of covid, but Morgan's team made sure that I still had a great experience. Jade was so friendly and easy to communicate with. The vendors that helped make our day special were also great. I would recommend Modern Elopement to anybody who is wishing to have a wedding in beautiful Hawaii.

Experiencia fantástica: Where to begin? My initial call with Morgan pretty much cemented my idea to elope. They have a really great set up for coordination and planning, working with you on key options and doing the legwork according to your choices. Jennifer was our concierge and we were in great hands. Our wedding turned out more beautiful than I could have dreamed of. If you want to have all the amenities of a great wedding, but on a small scale this is the option for you (we had no guests). The plus side to this business is that they have connections with wonderful vendors that will not disappoint, and by booking with them you will have an entirely private wedding which was very important to me to feel in the moment whereas many other companies will have your wedding in a public space. Our vendors blew me out of the water. Jennifer worked with me in getting my choice videographer (add-on) and flying him into Kauai from Oahu, Redefined Weddings, and I can not wait to see how it turns out! Our photographer Nicolette with Fotopop made our day with her sweet personality that helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera and capturing our candid moments, I still cry looking at our pictures. Our officiant and musician were absolutely wonderful and even learned the lyrics to sing our song. Jennifer assisted me into getting into my dress (not a small feat) so my fiance would not see me before our ceremony. Needless to say they helped bring my dream vision to life and I am so grateful.

Jennifer responded to us in a timely manner and was able to answer all of our questions. She was very professional and so sweet when we met in person on the day of the wedding. We enjoyed working with her and appreciate all of her help! Overall, my husband and I did very little since Modern Elopement was able to take care of everything. We just took care of our attire, travel, and bringing certain documents for the marriage license agent. We got engaged in Feb 2022 and eloped in June 2022 during our trip to Hawaii. We chose the Four Seasons package and had 13 people in our group (including me and my husband). They provided several questionnaires to help us choose what we wanted from a selection of vendors they curated (ie. photographer, music, course menu, florals, type of wedding officiant, etc.). You just have to choose what you want, and they take care of the rest. Our photographer, videographer, officiant, hair/makeup artist, and everyone else involved with our wedding were all friendly and professional. They were also able to make accommodations such as adding a videographer to do a full ceremony video along with the included highlight clip, dietary restrictions, time changes, and more. Just ask! Highly recommend this company to plan your elopement/micro wedding. Give yourself some peace of mind and choose Modern Elopement.

Summer from Modern Elopement went above and beyond to make all of our WANTS and NEEDS and everything in between possible. Experiencia fantástica: I cannot thank our coordinator Jennifer at Modern Elopement enough for creating a beautiful, intimate wedding ceremony for me and my husband at Four Season’s Ko Olina, HI. We wanted to keep our event small, and we had debated between a larger affair with our family and friends on the continental US versus celebrating with our parents somewhere fun and tropical. We decided upon an elopement, and I am so happy we made that decision. It was super easy and stress-free! We made selections through online questionnaires to tailor the ceremony and reception dinner to our preferences (there were several options to choose from in terms of flower themes, photographers, etc.), then communicated via email to clarify certain details. It was an option to make more personalized selections for an extra cost if that matters to you, but my husband and I are easy-going people who don’t take much joy in planning elaborate events, so this was just perfect in that we could pick and choose what we wanted or did not want without added hassle. Everything came together beautifully, and we will cherish the memories forever! Shout out to our officiant Grant, ukulele player Jeremy, and our photographer Megan Moura who took the most stunning photographs to help us remember the day!

What immediately drew me into the company was our initial phone call, I could tell that they were so passionate about weddings! I also liked that they had "lookbooks" of options that you could pick from like flowers, locations, dinner, etc. The lookbooks helped me visualize exactly what our big day was going to look like, which was very important to me. I also added some custom things like a custom cake, dinner reservations, and first dance, and they were extremely flexible and willing to accommodate requests. This took the Elopement to the next level because those custom touches are what make the day even more special. Nicole was our wedding planner, and by the end of our wedding day, we were sad to say goodbye! Throughout the process, we felt like we were old friends; she is such a genuinely sweet person! On the day of the wedding, we had rain, and Nicole managed to calm me down when I arrived at the venue. She also bustled my dress after the ceremony, which was a lifesaver. I was so worried about that! If you are on the fence about eloping, I would plan it with Modern Elopement, we have no regrets and were able to celebrate with 17 of our closest family and friends in paradise!

Experiencia fantástica: We loved our Modern Elopement! When our wedding venue accommodations in Wisconsin went out of business, my fiance and I decided to elope to Hawaii and we're so happy we did! It was just the two of us, but we still wanted our wedding to be a special experience to enjoy and cherish. Nicole of Modern Elopement made our day incredible. She took care of everything... the officiant, the flowers, the setting, the music, and the photographer were all amazing. Not to mention, these have to be a collection of the most stunning weddings put together on the Hawaiian islands. The coordinator I worked with, Kayleigh, is absolutely amazing as well. She's a total ray of sunshine and she thinks of EVERYTHING! She had pins for my hair and lipstick for touch up before my dinner and after photos (I was a mess after our photos). I was blown away by this small gesture! Every vendor you meet / work with / whose work you see is really ridiculously talented and fantastic at what they do. If I had known how everything would have been 100% perfect the day of, I would have relaxed a little more ;) Not to mention how crazy affordable the whole experience really is compared to what you'd pay for a wedding of the same quality on your own. Seriously, my husband and I couldn't have asked for more. Thank you Kayleigh and Modern Elopement!

Kayleigh walked us through all of the choices we had and set up a day that was far beyond anything we could have imagined! Experiencia fantástica: Our experience with Modern Elopements was absolutely amazing! When we arrived at our wedding we were COMPLETELY blown away how gorgeous the venue was. Kayleigh helped us throughout the entire process. She is really sweet, responsive, organized, and VERY good at what she does. The thought of having someone else plan and be in charge of every aspect of our wedding was difficult at first, but having Modern Elopements take over was the best decision that we made. They do a great job at keeping things simple and streamlined yet beautiful and personal. The flower arrangements that Passion Roots made beyond exceeded our expectations and were breathtaking. Cheryl Hazelgrove did a fantastic job with my hair and makeup. Amber from Schyne did our photos and they turned out amazing. Every one of our guests was amazed at how calm we were on our wedding day, how perfectly the day went, and how absolutely beautiful the venue was. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a gorgeous yet stress-free wedding experience. :)

Experiencia fantástica: Modern Elopement was one of the best decision we’ve ever made!! We were looking to have a small intimate ceremony with just our closest family members present, but I didn’t want to sacrifice style and I didn't want the stress of wedding planning. Once I found Modern Elopement I was hooked! The cost was more than other packages I saw in Oahu but I knew what I wanted and Modern Elopement had that! From their ceremony locations, to designs (that are pretty customizable), to their choices of photographers, they were a DREAM! Everything was stress-free for me, which is amazing in itself. Whether you are traveling from afar or right on the island; the vendors they work with are top-notch, our ceremony turned out so elegant and beautiful, Modern Elopement truly did not disappoint. We honestly didn’t know what to expect, all we needed to do was show up to Hawaii and enjoy the day.
