Experiencia fantástica: Put simply, Evelyn is excellent at what she does. My husband and I contacted her in August/September 2023 to help plan our wedding in April 2024. We didn’t have a super long engagement but Evelyn assured us we’d be able to plan a wonderful and thoughtful wedding in that time and she was right! She was incredibly helpful in many ways. She saved us hours and hours of searching for reputable vendors as she provides you with folks she can personally vouch for from working with them before. The day of the wedding, I was as calm as could be and felt like I could just relax and enjoy the day with my husband, as Evelyn was taking care of everything from coordinating with the vendors to keeping everyone on schedule. If you’re on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, I really recommend it. And if you’re wondering which wedding planner to hire, I couldn’t recommend Evelyn enough. She was kind, thoughtful, timely, just all around excellent.

Experiencia fantástica: Evelyn is simply the best! We worked with her for ~10 months as she helped us plan a wedding in under a year for October 2023. We loved how knowledgable she was of the wedding industry specifically within San Diego, and how she took a very direct & no-nonsense approach to planning (but don't get us wrong, she was certainly still fun to work with!!). We were completely lost when it came to planning as a whole, and she made the entire process so streamlined. We found that she was *especially* helpful when it came to picking a venue - we were so overwhelmed with all of the options available, and truly didn't know where to even begin. After just 1 or 2 conversations, she managed to take all of our ambiguous thoughts & feelings, and distilled them down to give us just a handful of venue options that she thought we would love. Turns out... wow, she hit the nail on the head! We loved all the options she presented us with and her #1 pick for us was, well, our #1 pick too! She took this approach with all of our vendors which truly made it so easy to make a quick yet informed decision. On top of all that, she did an INCREDIBLE job taking my abstract thoughts on an overall design and managed to pull off an absolutely remarkable setup. Nearly every guest told us it was the most amazing wedding they had ever been to - seriously. She is a magician and I only wish we could work with her again!

Experiencia fantástica: The moment I spoke with Evelyn on our introduction call, I knew she was the planner for me! She was so helpful in answering all of my initial questions I had about the planning process, the timeline, what is most important to prioritize along the way, etc. She has a calm demeanor no matter the situation and does not get flustered at any obstacle thrown her way. Evelyn made herself available no matter the time and was more than willing to jump on many planning calls with myself, my mom and my husband. She has extensive experience in the San Diego wedding industry and is incredibly well connected with vendors throughout Southern CA which enabled her to provide a range of vendor options at all different price points. In the month leading up to the wedding, she executed on every single wish I had, detail that needed to be completed, etc. Finally, Evelyn made our wedding weekend simply flawless. She came to our venue earlier than planned since there was a lot going on, and stayed well past 1 AM to make sure everything got wrapped up. Evelyn, Kyle and I (and my mom!) love you so much - thank you for making our weekend so special!

Experiencia fantástica: We had a great feeling about Evelyn when she called us for our intro call at the exact time scheduled, not a minute late, and suffice it to say, our instincts were right—she did not disappoint. My husband and I were just married this past August, and working with Evelyn is the reason we were able to stay sane. She is incredibly organized, and her process allowed us to enjoy wedding planning rather than being stressed out about deadlines. I talked to other friends planning their weddings at the same time as us with different planners, and they seemed WAY more stressed out—their planner either needed to be pushed at every step of the way, or was stressing them out about made-up deadlines to keep them moving. Evelyn's process was about the order of operations—you need your venue first, then you can find your photographer, then entertainment, etc. She made it so the decisions we needed to make felt bite-sized, rather than focusing on everything all at once. I'm honestly sad that our wedding is over because it means we won't be working with Evelyn on a regular basis, but she's the reason that everything came together so nicely and we can't say enough good things about her!

Experiencia fantástica: It has been a couple of months since my daughter's wedding and I am still extremely grateful we hired Evelyn. If you are thinking hiring a wedding planner is frivolous or pretentious or something only certain people do, stop. I had all those feelings and more and I was dead wrong. Wedding planning is such a complex process, especially from a distance and there are so many details. Hiring Evelyn was the best decision we made when planning our daughter's wedding. After our initial phone call, I knew we were in good hands. After meeting her in person, I was even more confident in our decision and felt that not only was she creative, knowledgeable and professional, but also a genuinely kind person. Her experience with venues and vendors, as well as reviewing and negotiating contracts were invaluable and ultimately saved us time and money. From the rehearsal dinner, to the late night birthday party for the groom after the reception, she assembled a team of vendors that were not only talented, but nice people as well. With the unknowns of planning during the pandemic, our daughter in Texas, us in California and guests from all over the country, Evelyn was the calm during the storm and a joy to work with. She kept me sane and on track, and brought my daughter's vision together for the most beautiful, perfect, "magical" weekend. Thank you Evelyn.

Experiencia fantástica: In one line: Evelyn is a remarkable, professional and personable wedding planner that you should book no matter where you are at in your planning process. Evelyn deserves more “lines” than that though. She entered our lives at the perfect time - I was stressed and indecisive about the whole planning a wedding thing and my fiancé wanted whatever I wanted… you know how it goes. My first phone call with Evelyn brought me so much peace that I knew I had to lock her in immediately… not to mention I wanted to become her best friend. Evelyn truly listens to the couple’s vision, likes and dislikes and comes back with incredible designs and plans for your special day. We were about one month out from our big day and then COVID hit. Evelyn cried with us and felt all the emotions with US. She was part of our team which is why I think she is so well respected and admired in the industry and community. She literally moved and planned and re-planned our wedding 6 times before we could celebrate this year... and to think we weren’t the only couple she did this for - WOW! Our celebration was literally so special - we couldn’t have imagined it going any better than it did. All of the details and beauty in her designs.. bringing our vision and her expertise in the space to life. Believe her when she says flowers matter… they sure do! Evelyn is first class and we cannot say enough good things about her and her team. We love you, Eve!

Experiencia fantástica: Evelyn’s dedication, communication, and talent are second to none. She is simply an incredible person. We started to plan a destination wedding in San Diego from New Mexico and quickly realized it to be more difficult than anticipated. Investing in Evelyn as our wedding planner was the greatest decision we made for our wedding. She brought so much expertise to the table and recommended a variety of vendors/options so that we were truly able to get the most out of our budget. Further, Evelyn only had to take a look at a handful of pictures of the style/vibe we wanted for our wedding and was instantly able to comprehend our vision, which was most impressive. Even through all the stresses of rescheduling due to COVID-19, Evelyn was able to provide reassurance and coordinate everything so seamlessly.
