Experiencia fantástica: We booked Cassandra for help with our small elopement in 2017. We live out of state but love New Orleans, so having her area expertise was incredibly reassuring. She made us feel like her only clients, going well above and beyond to understand what kind of experience we were hoping for and who we were as a couple. She helped us identify and book a venue, officiant, flowers, photos, hair/makeup, food, and accommodations for us and our immediate family. We're huge comic book fans, so she even suggested an artist we were able to work with to commission a wedding portrait in the style of a comic book cover. Our wedding was an absolute dream, exactly as we hoped, and so, so stress-free thanks to Cassandra's calm presence on the day. Eight years later, we show our wedding photos to our kiddos, and they think we were characters in a fairytale. I couldn't recommend her professionalism, warmth, and cheer enough.

From recommendations on venues, restaurants, officiants, photographers, and even a band and route planning for our second line. Everything went so smoothly and perfectly the day of the wedding. She patiently walked us through ideas and suggestions and gave really good advice and recommendations. She coordinated all the moving parts so well! She's very knowledgeable about venues and vendors. We really had no idea what we were doing and her knowledge and passion was beyond helpful for making the million and one decisions that come with planning a wedding. There are so many factors that you don’t even consider and her experience helped us make the best decisions. She really got to know us and helped facilitate a wedding that was truly us.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a long overdue review, our wedding was super last minute, we had something else planned, but decided to go with a micro wedding she put together for us. All we had to do was show up, her vendor and decor choices were immaculate, she even decorated the cake. 0 stress, everything was gorgeous. When we had some family drama that lead to extra guests and frayed nerves, she jumped through hoops to accommodate us and was so sweet about everything.

Experiencia negativa: Don't even waste your time. I reached out about an elopement between April-August this year or next and never got a reply from them. Then after about a week I reached out again (my mistake for giving second chances) and was informed they will not be taking any bookings because Cassandra is moving out of the country. Why continue to have a website offering services when you will be leaving the country? Also they couldn't even get my name right when it's clearly printed on the submission form. When I point these things out I got the same response as before about moving out of the country and they aren't taking bookings. Completely unprofessional in my opinion.

Experiencia fantástica: Cassandra was great! She got the job done and handled everyone so well. She could tell I was nervous when I walked in on wedding day so she pulled me aside with a glass of champagne and helped me have a little breather. Everything went so smoothly and we were grateful that we could relax and have all the logistics in someone else's hands!

Experiencia positiva: We had our wedding at Seraphim House, the event space Cassandra manages. We also hired her as a coordinator. Our wedding day went mostly as planned and Cassandra connected us with some great vendors, so she ultimately did her job. However, we found working with her to be difficult and stressful at times. I think there’s a conflict between Cassandra’s two roles as coordinator and Seraphim event space manager. The job of the coordinator is to take stress off the couple and solve problems. But in her role as the event space manager, we found her to be rigid and adversarial. The space had restrictive rules that cost us extra money and stressed us out, and Cassandra was the one enforcing those rules all along the way. On our wedding day, she seemed stressed about people messing up the space, but no one was doing anything unusual for a wedding. After the wedding, multiple guests complained about “the person with the short curly hair”(meaning Cassandra), saying she’d been overly controlling and snippy. When our transportation was significantly late at the end of the night, she not only didn’t invite the guests back inside the venue to wait, but came out every so often to shush us because the space was in a residential area. Throughout the planning process, Cassandra also made me feel neurotic and like I was worrying too much. She’d often push back on basic things we asked about, like a place to hang coats or being able to hear the music outside during dinner. I didn’t feel like I had someone in my corner, but rather, that I had an adversary I needed to work around and avoid bothering too much. We debated confronting her at various points but thought it could make the situation worse. Overall, I think we’d have had a much better experience with Cassandra as our coordinator if our wedding was at another venue, one she didn’t manage.

Experiencia fantástica: We planned our wedding with Crescent Bound events and by plan I mean we knew nothing and Cassandra gave advice, support and professional guidance into how to create our unique wedding in a city that needs some local insight. We worked with her for the year leading up to the day and she was available, flexible with our non traditional touches and made working with venders extremely easy. On the day there was no drama or concerns, each recommended vender was lovely to work with. She handled everything seamlessly so we could be relaxed and really enjoy all the fabulous celebrations. Which turned out romantic and spot on for us. Its been a month and people are still telling me how much the enjoyed the night. It was sublime.

She had amazing ideas on how to keep things within budget, must do’s around town for the guests, and her vendors recommendations were perfection. Cannot recommend enough!

Experiencia fantástica: Cassandra helped us plan our daughter's wedding. Cassandra was super friendly, organized, creative, not bossy, and was very well connected with a wide variety of vendors. She truly saved us when it came to navigating some of the trickier supply chain issues that arose. I really don't know how we would have pulled off our large scale wedding without her. Cassandra is definitely someone you want on your wedding team!
