Experiencia fantástica: Was referred to this company by my best friend, Cody and Rick did an outstanding job on my daughter's engagement party! If they have the wedding in El Paso we will definitely hire them again!
Experiencia fantástica: Cody did an amazing job assisting and executing our vision for our wedding. We recently moved across the country a few months before our wedding, Cody kept everything calm and organized. Without Cody i definitely would have been a bridezilla. Cody was there every set of the way from one on one calls, menu tastings, vendor selection, planning & the wedding day. Despite having multiple issues with our venue, Cody was able to be our mediator and keep us in the loop of any changes. Cody’s knowledge and creative ideas helped to curate our perfect wedding. On the day of our event, everything came out beautifully, he kept our timeline and was very attentive making sure we were having the best day.
Experiencia negativa: I'm hoping this is the right company it's the address we went to. The place was hot, the air conditioning may not be working No idea. The food was well let's just say hospital food. Example they had bread but no butter???

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot say enough wonderful things about Cody and his wedding planning expertise. From start to finish, he was patient, respectful, and truly dedicated to bringing my vision to life. Weddings, venues, and people may not always be perfect, but Cody handled everything with such grace and professionalism that we still had the most incredible celebration. What sets Cody apart is his ability to make you feel completely at ease. I trusted him fully, and he exceeded my expectations at every turn. If you’re planning a wedding, my best advice is to trust Cody—he knows exactly what he’s doing, and you’ll be in the best hands possible. Our destination wedding was an unforgettable experience for both me and our guests, and I couldn’t have done it without Cody’s guidance. I will absolutely consider him for future events, including (hopefully) my vow renewal when the time comes! Experiencia fantástica: We hired Mr. Cody as our wedding organizer, he was very professional and organized. On the day of our wedding he gathered our court well and everything went on schedule. Definitely recommend him and he also offers decorations and other service to make your wedding very well planned and beautiful.

Experiencia negativa: As a bridesmaid in my best friend's wedding, I feel compelled to share my experience with the wedding coordinator, and unfortunately, it was far from positive. While the coordinator may have been somewhat adequately prepared from an organizational standpoint, their unprofessional demeanor, rudeness towards guests, and condescending attitude towards the bridal party left much to be desired. To begin with, the coordinator's approach to their role was efficient, and it seemed like they had everything under control. However, this efficiency came at the expense of basic human decency. From the moment we interacted with them during the rehearsal, it was evident that they lacked the social skills and courtesy expected in such a significant event. As bridesmaids, we were excited to support our friend, the bride, but the coordinator's rude behavior made us feel unwelcome and unappreciated. Throughout the wedding day, the coordinator's attitude toward guests was nothing short of disappointing. Instead of providing a warm and inviting atmosphere, they displayed impatience and irritation while directing people to their seats or answering simple questions. This left many guests feeling uneasy and uncomfortable, which is the last thing you want at a wedding celebration. Perhaps the most distressing aspect was the coordinator's condescending treatment of the bridal party, including the bride herself. As bridesmaids, we wanted to ensure that our friend's big day was perfect, but the coordinator consistently undermined our efforts and made us feel insignificant. Our opinions and suggestions were dismissed outright as if our role was merely to follow orders rather than genuinely contribute to the wedding's success. Additionally, the coordinator seemed to belittle the bride's choices and ideas, which was disheartening to witness. Planning a wedding is an emotional journey, and the coordinator's dismissive attitude added unnecessary stress to an already intense experience for the bride. While the wedding coordinator may have demonstrated some level of competence in executing their responsibilities, their unprofessionalism, rudeness towards guests, and condescension towards the bridal party overshadowed any positive aspects. As bridesmaids, we were deeply disappointed by the lack of empathy and respect shown by the coordinator, and it had a significant impact on the overall atmosphere of the wedding. A wedding is meant to be a joyous occasion for everyone involved, and the coordinator's behavior was a regrettable blemish on an otherwise beautiful day.

Experiencia fantástica: Since day one! Cody and I had smooth and amazing year of planning. From phone calls, to e-mails and meetings with vendors he delivered the wedding of my dreams. He guide me through the process without stressing. Wedding day was amazing and until today my husband and I keep getting compliments from our guest. Thank you Cody and I Do Weddings crew.

Experiencia negativa: Was 'friends' with cody for a few years, worked amazing together and sent business back and forth to each-other. Left my card on file assuming i was being charged per service. Cody let me know he was going to charge my card and he would advise for how much. Next thing i know not only did he charge my card without authorization, he double charged me for one invoice that i had already paid. After being upset and calling this to attention he reimbursed me and ghosted me. Extremely unprofessional
Experiencia fantástica: The team at I Do is amazing!! They always put on a great event! They aim to please all of their clients! They get the job done! They are professional! And always super sweet to me. I am a wedding photographer and have worked with many event coordinators and Cody and Rick have always worked with me as well as with their clients meeting both our needs. I remember one wedding, the venue closed down their business just a couple of weeks before the big day, leaving the couple with no where to host their wedding reception. Cody worked swiftly to find a replacement venue and with his magical powers put on an amazing wedding reception where everyone had a blast!! I highly recommend I Do for helping you plan your gorgeous wedding day, or any event you might need help with. Trust Cody and RIck's team to get the job done!!

Experiencia fantástica: Cody is amazing!!! And his team is top notch. My sister contracted I Do Weddings for day of services. Not only did Cody make the event flow smoothly, but he was there to handle any crisis that came up. From finding vendors last minute, a few hours before the event even. I cannot say enough about Cody and his team. All were professional, respectful and carried out my sister's wedding vision. Also, they were well aware of the Covid restrictions and made sure we were in compliance. His team worn masks the entire event. We couldn't have been more pleased.

Experiencia negativa: I hired Cody when I was needing help the last couple of months before my wedding. I did need the help, and my wedding turned out less stressful with him fine tuning, completing the details, and cleaning up some of my mistakes in planning my own wedding. There’s no doubt that he knows what he is doing. My father-in-law who is a well established DJ had confidence in Cody, which really reassured me. There’s no doubt that he helped immensely, however he does have a bit of an attitude. The job that he did at the wedding was great, but his professionalism after the event was horrible. If you have your own items/decorations, good luck having him return the that you bought and provided to him for set up. I was foolish enough to not make my own inventory or ask for a copy of his. I trusted him. Despite multiple emails to Cody (with many that went unanswered) I haven’t gotten MY items back. Initially, I wanted to offer that he buy my items like he had mentioned in one of our meetings BUT after constant follow-ups, I just wanted my stuff back so that I can try to sell it. He made so many excuses that I was gullible enough to believe (including a flood in his warehouse). The last excuse was that he was tied up with events during the holidays, which made sense to me and I gave him until well after the holidays to catch up before I followed up again. He did not want to reply to my emails, he wanted to call me instead of putting anything in writing. I asked him multiple times for an inventory of my items which I have yet to receive. I was made aware that an inventory of MY items had been made because when my mom was picking up some items that I wanted her to take straight from the venue Cody tried to stop her and said she couldn't do so due to the inventory. My mom had already been fed up with some of his attitude earlier in the event that she just didn't take 'no' for an answer so his staff marked the items that she took on their inventory. I was going to drive through El Paso on my way to a funeral last month so I asked him to please release my items to my father-in-law since I would not make it in while he was open. He replied stating that he would give them items to only myself and my husband on Saturday (the day of the funeral). He had already allowed my father-in-law 7 of my lanterns, my pink votives, and the sign to honor those who passed away and couldn't make the wedding around Thanksgiving time when he was going to travel to see us. When telling him that there shouldn't be an issue since he had already released some items to my father-in-law so it shouldn't be an issue, he stopped replying to my emails. The ONLY reason I hadn’t reviewed him sooner is because of the working relationship that he had with my father-in-law, but apparently - he ruined that relationship too by skipping out on paying him for an event. I live 8 hours away and it’s almost been a year since my wedding (May 2018).... I am FED UP with Cody thinking he can get away with it. I’m sure he’s pulled out some of my items and charged people for renting “his” decorations. For anyone hiring him, be cautious, put EVERYTHING in writing, just be weary of the way he runs his business because he is SHADY!!!! What I know has not been returned to me off the top of my head: 1. About half of my lanterns (in which he is using for other events. He has pictures on his personal facebook page) 2. Decorative burlap jars that held my flowers 3. 4 "reserved" signs 4. "cards & gifts" sign 5. "Guestbook" sign 6. "love is sweet, take a treat sign" 7. Cake stand (that I bought for $130.00) 8. Birdcage (used to hold my cards) 9. Wood slabs used for my centerpieces
Hi Denise, sorry that it had to end in bad terms after such a beautiful wedding. We do agree with you that Cody does know what he is doing and has countless brides that are totally satisfied with his service and professionalism from beginning to end !
You forgot to mention that you gifted us these items that you did not want to take and your father n law took the rest the night of your wedding . Our relationship did have a fall out but that was on terms regarding a client of ours that he upset but we can’t go into that matter ( we did not skip out on a payment).
Yes we had several emails back and fourth as to you getting your items but that never took place . Our office hours are clearly posted on our door and on google. You were more than welcome to come by anytime and get your items that you had gifted us.
We are sorry that you had personal issues that happened in your life (husband had change of job) and you emailed us that you wanted them back so you can sell them, which is totally understandable . Once you had informed us that you needed these items to sell due to you being the only income provider we offered to buy your items. Also we have had deaths in our family so we would never expect you to go pick up the items when you were going through one yourself!
Almost a year later and you wanted inventory of your wedding day which is something unheard of ! That was after we mentioned we would just buy these items from you .
You yourself can’t recall these gifted items and are guessing now . We like to talk over the phone which we didn’t realize you would have an issue with. We have the right to contact our clients however we like !
Cody made several attempts to contact you but after you wouldn’t answer you then sent a email that you wanted communication by email only. We did have an office flood and we have documentation to prove it!
That night again your father n law and your mother n law did take the items you clearly wanted and you gifted us the rest . Also we would like to point out is that your father n law was in our office to pick up payment for that specific event you mentioned and he did not bring up your items nor did he take any of your items. Which we don’t understand why he didn’t take them when he was clearly at our office for over 30 mins .
We have a huge warehouse filled with inventory and this list of 9 items we really don’t need and our company wouldn’t hurt if you were to of picked them up.
Hobby lobby and other retail stores carry these items you had purchased which we have several of already so why wouldn’t we rent them if people need them? It’s part of our business , we rent out items which we have purchased!
Also everything we do with our clients is in writing that's why we have contracts, remember the day of signing you told us not to tell your father n law anything (due to personal reasons between you guys)!
We do feel bad that you have taken the time to slander us and make false accusations but all we can do is respond to your review and hopefully clear things up. Monday March 18, 2019 you can pick up your items up between 11am and 4pm (which should of been done a year ago)or we will be donating them to Goodwill. Thank you
