Experiencia fantástica: Jaime was recommended to us by the Prado and he made our wedding day the best. We saw photos of weddings he had planned and knew he would be the best coordinator for us. From day one he shared a Google drive with wedding docs of tips and tricks for our wedding day and hair, makeup, barber recommendations in San Diego. Jaime is very communicative and return our emails/texts almost instantly and scheduled meetings with us throughout our planning process. He recommended a great florist, lighting company and sourced the dancefloor our of dreams (cheesy I know). He made sure our wedding day flowed without issue and created a detailed timeline he sent to all our vendors. He set up our wedding reception and kept everyone on schedule throughout our day. Our friends and family left our wedding in awe and couldn't stop talking about the great food, decor and atmosphere. We couldn't have pulled this off without Jaime.

Experiencia fantástica: Jaime was/is fabulous!!! We are SO thankful to Stylish Weddings and Events for helping our dream wedding happen! Adam and I met Jaime at a bridal conference and we told him of our vision, and we immediately hit it off with him. Jaime was so accommodating of our schedules, and would often drive to us for meet ups and discussions, and he allowed us to have calls in the evenings after we got off work. He was flexible and very thoughtful of our needs. We purchased the full service planning package, and Jaime was with me through all the challenges of trying to plan a wedding during covid. He would give me vendor recommendations, and when anyone would back out (due to unforeseen issues with covid and family, etc...), he would do everything to get me replacement vendors and get my deposits back. He was ON it and always had my back!!! I certainly felt like Jaime cared about us. He was super responsive to every email/text/question I sent his way, and he would often send us little reminders of things to consider/complete. It was very appreciated. On top of all that.... JAIME SAVED THE WEDDING A BILLION TIMES OVER!!! * The manzanita tree renter we were going to use ended up closing their business due to covid, so we had to find a new supplier and actually BUY the trees. * We didn't know what to do with the trees after the wedding ended and we had to get them out of the venue by 1am. Jaime asked his florist supplier, and she agreed to take them, and have them out by 1am! He totally saved us from having to figure out what to do with them! * We found a manzanita tree supplier who we purchased 18 - 3 foot trees from. They delivered the trees the day before, but they were the wrong height! They were 1 to 1.5 feet! Which is NOT what we paid extra for! And not the statement centerpieces we expected. I immediately started panicking! My fiancé just left because he hates confrontation and didn't know what to do, and I literally just felt trapped, alone, and confused in how to address the situation. Except that I was not alone. Jaime came to my rescue! He totally backed me up and wanted the supplier to provide answers as to why the trees were not what was agreed on in our contract. In the end, she just left saying she could not fix them and we could discuss with her later about a partial refund. But Jaime did not leave me with those small pathetic trees. He instantly jumped on his phone and contacted local suppliers. He then pulled an all-nighter to spray paint new trees he procured, and built them into the center piece boxes. And he did it all at his house! * On top of Jaime working on the trees ALL night, he was calm, cool, and collected the next day and did everything to make our wedding beautiful! He was a calming presence and never seemed to appear stressed or bothered with all the questions thrown at him. He was amazing!! * Jaime is also an interior visionary, and when my grandmother asked for a gift she made us to be presented at the wedding, he did a beautiful job of tying it into our decor! He also had to re-situate the layout to accommodate our photo booth vendor, and he did a fantastic job of the overall setup! Jaime and his team were absolutely brilliant! I am beyond blessed/grateful for all their hard work and love that they gave our event. So many issues came up that were out of our control (and nothing that Jaime or his team did) but his team ALWAYS jumped on getting them resolved/fixed! I had no idea until after the wedding of any issues! That's how amazing they were!! ALSO.... Jaime took pictures of so many parts of the set up that I did not get to see, and sent them to me so I could have them and see everything pristine before the guests arrived. I thought it was a very thoughtful gesture! ALSO... almost forgot to mention! Jaime helped with ALL the rentals! Linens, dance floor, chairs, and napkins, etc!!! Seriously, made that part so easy!!! Jaime... THANK YOU for all you did for us. You are a HERO and did everything to make our event perfect!!! xo

Experiencia fantástica: Jaime was referred to me through a family friend who also hired him as their wedding planner. From the first time we met (via phone), I knew Jaime would do an excellent job. He truly made all of my dreams and visions for my wedding come true. And he did it all from the opposite side of the country! I planned my west coast wedding with Jaime all the way from the east coast. Because of this, Jaime also worked very closely with my mom and has now become a part of the family. He is a true professional with a positive and vibrant attitude. He is a great listener and an even better communicator. Even my bridal party has expressed how impressed they were! Through vision boards and many many phone calls and emails, Jaime was able to pull together the wedding of my dreams. Every vendor he referred was top notch and even the vendors we introduced to him have now built a great working relationship together. I can't say enough great things about him and would highly recommend Jaime to anyone looking for a "dream maker".

Our wedding was so incredible half the guests came up to us and told us throughout the night that this was the BEST wedding they had ever been to. -This is because we were lucky enough to meet and hire Jaime Soto who made our wedding night everything we could have wished for. Jaime isn’t just a wedding planner, he is also an amazing wedding designer and coordinator. We met Jaime at a wedding show and liked him right away. We were looking for someone who could be hands on with us as we both had significant work commitments going on during the typical planning process. Despite this challenge, we still wanted to have a wedding that we and our beloved family and friends would remember. We had our wedding at the Prado at balboa park. We had an insane number of vendors that Jaime coordinated with on our behalf. He was available to meet with us and each of the vendors anytime we needed him. We utilized a lot of outside vendors so having someone who had so many established vendor relationships of varied styles and pricing was extremely helpful in the overall production of the wedding. We were blown away with Jaime’s overall level of attentiveness and tenacity. You can throw basically anything at him and he can handle it. Even more, he is so kind and upbeat even when we’re under the gun and the pressure is on. We found that the investment in a full package wedding planner, specially Jaime, was the smartest decision we made. It can be a little nerve wrecking trying to find a great wedding planner so I’m writing this to help all those brides to be who might be looking for a phenomenal wedding planner. Jaime has the best personality, and takes so much of the stress away. Most importantly, you will enjoy working with Jaime because he always keeps things upbeat and when your special day finally arrives, you will have him there every step of the way making sure your wedding day is just perfect! The fact he was able to plan, coordinate, and decorate to perfection in a foreign country was amazing. From finding delicious caterers, securing the venue/permits, entertainment (Mariachi, Musician, Dj), photography, and creating the most beautiful floral arrangements including my bridal bouquet. Experiencia fantástica: My fiance and I met Jaime at Bridal Bazaar Show in Downtown San Diego. After speaking with at the show, we knew he was the right person to make our wedding memorable. He worked with us for over a year and made the process very easy. Without him, we would be lost. My fiance and I were planning a simple wedding where Jaime turned it into traditional wedding which displayed different cultures coming together. He had all the right vendors at the right price and they all did a great job. We had frequent meetings and he was never late nor cancelled any appointments. Everyone in our family loved are wedding and labeled it best wedding ever. Some also stated that it looked a beautiful love story and a dream wedding that they have been part of. Experiencia fantástica: We never really thought we would need a full-time wedding coordinator, but that was before we met Jaime. He took the time to meet with us in person or on the phone as needed and walked us through the wedding planning process every step of the way. Jaime has wonderful connections with vendors who I myself would have never been able to find. For example, he connected us with a DJ that blew all of our guests away. He made recommendations that saved us money and time without taking away from the quality of the wedding. On the day of the wedding, my husband and I were in awe of how amazing the ballroom looked. Jaime said he was going to deliver, and he sure delivered. Not to mention, I didn't hear of any issues on the day of the wedding, meaning that Jaime did a wonderful job of making sure I was stress-free and happy on my special day. Long story short, Jaime will help any bride and groom create the wedding of their dreams with the resources that they have. Experiencia fantástica: I am the mother of a bride, Molly, who was very recently married on New Year's Eve (Dec 31, 2018) at the Hilton Torrey Pines in La Jolla, CA. We are from New York City and my daughter and now son-in-law moved to San Diego a couple of years ago. It was a challenge planning a 5-day destination wedding (a destination for most of us), especially since we are very traditional Jews and everything had to be kosher. Although, at first, I didn't think we needed a planner, Molly wanted someone local to help. We first hired a wedding planner who was billed as having experience with Jewish weddings. Unfortunately, she did not perform as expected and we decided we could not continue with her. Molly then met Jaime Soto of Stylish Weddings and Events. Jaime and his staff were wonderful and showed such grace and patience under what was a lot of pressure. There were multiple venues, hotels and caterers, as well as other vendors. Jaime understood the importance of our religious needs and our budgets. He brought a sense of color and style--simple and elegant. Most importantly, he brought fun. There was no obstacle he could not overcome and no matter how crazy we got, he was there to help and make things better. He worked incredibly hard. On the day of the wedding alone, on New Year's Eve, he was there for at least 18 hours straight making sure everything flowed and was beautiful. And the wedding celebration from beginning to end was wonderful. The partying went on until 2:00 am. Everyone (125 people) had a wonderful time and cannot stop talking about all of the special aspects. There can be no better wedding planner in the San Diego area than Jaime Soto. Thank you, Jaime, from the bottom of our hearts. And yes, we did need a planner. Silly me.

Experiencia fantástica: My wife and I just got married this New Years Eve in San Diego and had the wonderful opportunity to work with Jaime. I say “opportunity" specifically because that is what it felt like at times to us. Initially, we hired a wedding planner (not Jaime) a year out from our NYE wedding, someone who was referred to us and checked off all the requirements for what we thought would be a great decision, or so we thought….. Turns out this planner did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in regard to planning our wedding for 9 months. To put it lightly, my wife was the wedding planner, not our actual wedding planner. We finally decided enough was enough and fired her. Shortly after this, we found Jaime. In 2 weeks, Jaime did more for us and for getting the wedding/planning back on track than our previous planner had done in 9 months! I'm not sure if that’s more amazing on Jaime’s part, or how awful our previous planner was. Either way, Jaime took charge from Day 1 with us and kept the momentum going all the way through to the very next day. Always with the utmost respect and resourcefulness, Jaime was an absolute pleasure to work with for the entire wedding process. Around 90% of our guests were coming from out of town to make this a vacation and destination wedding, so we had a handful of events going on prior to several days out from the big day. I really cannot even imagine how it all would have been completed, if it had not been for Jaime’s guidance and constant communication and helpful timelines throughout the entire process. Our biggest regret is that we didn’t find Jaime sooner, which would have ultimately avoided months of stress and aggravation. Nonetheless, we could not be happier with Jaime and all of the dedication he put into making this wedding weekend/day one of the happiest moments of our lives!

We had about 6 months to plan the wedding but you would never know that because of how detailed and spectacular the wedding looked the day of. He was amazing at staying in touch and working with us and with all of our vendors to ensure we got what we wanted. He always made sure we felt comfortable with all the decisions we made and he had the best suggestions on how to make our wedding look even classier. Our guests had a wonderful time and he made sure everything was perfect on the day of. We honestly felt like royalty and we cannot thank him enough. Jaime is the best at what he does and I can assure you, you will have made one of the best decisions about your wedding planning if you hire him!

Experiencia fantástica: I met Jaime and his staff at a Bridal Bazaar over a year ago. When we had our initial consultation, we immediately hit it off and I knew that he would make a great wedding coordinator because I felt like he listened to what we liked and wanted and I felt like he really got to know us as a couple. He was cognizant and sensitive about our budget and he even gave us tips on how we could save money like getting a tier cake for the photos and sheet cakes to serve to our guests. He also recommended vendors that we hadn’t hired yet. Jaime was on top of everything and extremely responsive to texts and email. The day of our wedding on 9/8/18, he was running around helping our decorations vendor set up and what I appreciate most is that he reminded me to breathe and relax and have fun right before I was ready to walk down the aisle! At the reception, he kept reminding me to eat and even got me a shot of whiskey and wine lol. He made sure that I was having fun and not stressing. Everyone complimented us on how fun and well organized our wedding was and I attribute a lot of that to Jaime! Without him, I would have been lost and stressed and I’m so glad that we hired him. I know some people don’t budget for a wedding coordinator, but he was totally worth every penny and we were extremely happy with his services. Thank you, Jaime! Experiencia fantástica: WOW! Can I give more than 5 stars because he deserves 10! Where do I begin! I prayed to God and he bought me Stylish Weddings and Events! Jaime Soto is delightful! From the beginning, he answered every email, phone call and even performed conference calls after hours-which was amazing for my Husband and I. He worked with our hectic schedule months before our special date. We both work full time up until the week of our destination wedding and this was ONLY possible because we were blessed with such an amazing wedding coordinator!! Jaime pays severe attention to DETAIL! He came to the Venue for rehearsals and taught us how to walk, be positioned, hold our props, smile for the camera. He gave me great advice on how to remain calm, cool and collective during my day- which is hard to do as a Bride. He STUCK to the timeline and amended it where he seen fit, so that we were able to do all the things that we had planned for our special day. Experiencia fantástica: I found Jaime through Yelp searching for a day of wedding coordinator. Our initial meeting with him was great—right away we knew he would be able to handle whatever was thrown at him. He was attentive, assertive, professional, and we felt very comfortable with him from the start. He was so thorough and asked as questions we hadn’t even thought about. Since my husband and I had a long engagement, we had already booked most of our vendors, so we were set on having just a day of coordinator, but after meeting with Jaime we decided to book the month of package. Despite booking the month of package, Jaime started work with us 4 months before our wedding! I honestly don’t know how our wedding would’ve turned out without him. He was on top of things, in contact with the vendors, and made sure everything went according to the timeline. As the date neared, my husband and I started to stress out because of a couple non responsive vendors, but with Jaime’s reassurance we knew everything would turn out okay, and it did. In addition to coordinating, Jaime also helped us with design, accompanying us to our mock ups and linen appointments to make sure everything looked perfectly the day of. Jaime truly understood our wedding vision and cared about it just as much as we did. As overwhelmed as we were the day of the wedding, Jaime ensured we were comfortable, well fed, energized (he even offered us caffeine pills!), and made it a point that my husband and I had a moment to ourselves to just enjoy the night. Both of our families loved him, and expressed to us how impressed they were with him the day of the wedding. My husband and I will definitely be recommending him to anyone we know getting married or planning a big event. We hope to work with him again in the future.

Experiencia fantástica: My wife and I hired Jaime as our day of coordinator for our October 2017 wedding at the La Valencia Hotel in La Jolla. Everything turned out amazing! Jaime is a professional who treated us with the utmost care and respect. He was able to recommend EXCELLENT vendors for our floral arrangements, our cake, decorations, and much more. He went beyond his duties and made sure that everything ran smoothly not only on the day of our wedding, but also throughout the year of planning. I remember feeling at ease because I knew that Jaime and his assistant would take care of any hiccups that might occur. One can only hope and dream that their wedding day is as they had imagined it; our wedding day went beyond our expectations.

Experiencia fantástica: Jaime did a great job planning my husband's and mine wedding. We hired him over a year before our wedding and he helped us immensely the whole time. We had frequent meetings with him and he wasn't late to any of them. He was on top of everything we asked or wanted and he gave great recommendations for everything wedding related. My husband had a few (odd) requests for the wedding day, and Jaime got them all in place for him. I can't tell you how happy my husband was to see everything coming together, just like how he pictured it in his mind. That couldn't have happened without Jaime there! The vendors he connected us with were perfectly priced, professional, and exactly what we wanted. On the day of our wedding, our reception was gorgeous and looked like it stepped out of a movie! He has a great eye for design and the final product was better than I could have imagined! During the reception, we did run into some hiccups with the venue, specifically the catering manager at the venue not doing what we had previously arranged. Jaime was so quick to solve the issues with the venue, and the guests were none the wiser! He made sure that my husband and I were happy, eating/drinking, and enjoying the day! I would highly recommend Jaime to anyone in need of a wedding planner!!
