Experiencia fantástica: If it weren't Bashar (Billy) I don't know how I would've planned my brother's wedding. It's the first wedding in our immediate family, so finding our footing was quite difficult. However, Bashar and his team made everything SO easy. We told him exactly what we wanted, and not only did he give us that, but also gave suggestions for aspects to add to make our day easier. One of those suggestions being a wedding coordinator—which we didn't even think to get. Everything from communication to execution was done super well. We even had a bit of a hiccup the day of the wedding (that had nothing to do with Billy) but I called him and he was able to resolve that for us immediately. The decor was beautiful and exactly like the photos and we can't wait to get the professional shots back (the photographer was also from Billy's team and was SO great to work with). Thankfully my brother is the only boy in the family, but we will definitely be recommending Legacy Events to extended family and friends. Sending our thanks again to Billy and his team :)

Experiencia negativa: Do not trust this company, they went around our backs and played the most humiliating pictures of me and my fiance on a screen over and over all night that my MIL submitted. We have never experienced a vendor who would go off the cuff without authorization or approval. We were literally humiliated the entire night and could not relax.

Experiencia fantástica: I apologize in advance for the long-handed review; but I want to provide the most detailed review possible. We got engaged in June 2024 and had a very short engagement (6 months). We didn’t start the planning process until July and got married this past December, so we planned an entire wedding in under 5 months. My friend introduced me to Billy, owner of Legacy Events, and thank God she did! From our first meeting, Billy understood what I needed, most importantly, and also paid attention to the smaller requests I had. As a full-service event planner, Legacy Events handled coordinating our venue and personal florals, photography, videography, DJ, MC, live music, transportation, signage, and day-of coordination. When it came down to discussing budget, we explained all the details we wanted included and Billy went over add-ins and things to remove to give us the most bang for our buck. We did spend some time getting quotes from other individual vendors; but with everything we wanted, we would have paid at least double what Billy charged. When our first engagement shoot didn’t go as planned, Billy and our photographer, Ammar, worked together to make a second shoot happen with our hectic schedules and condensed timeline. One thing I will note is this: I am a very Type A person. I had spreadsheets for everything and needed frequent contact to ease my own anxiety about everything being perfect. Billy has his own way of handling things; and at times, I worried whether or not I was going to have everything turn out the way I wanted due to some periods of time with little communication. He’s very much a “trust the process” person and I’m an “I need to see every step of the process in advance” person. Billy told me numerous times to just breathe and relax because he had it under control behind the scenes. So if you’re like me, just breathe, because the end product is immaculate. Billy invited me to his office to look at sample florals and we both agreed that we needed to change direction. Without hesitation, he began reworking the arrangement and understood exactly what needed to be done. On the day of the wedding, Billy handled every single detail. He provided a day-of coordinator, Kayla, who was BEYOND AMAZING! Transportation was on time, our photographer and videographer were a little late in the morning, but they were so detailed in their shots. Billy provided a violinist for cocktail hour and she blew our guests away! When we walked into the reception room, we were blown away by the centerpieces and sweetheart florals! It was beyond anything I could’ve ever imagined. Our original saxophonist got sick the day of our wedding, but Billy made a phone call and had the most amazing musician fill-in. The dance floor was packed the entire night because of the entertainment/DJ and people are still talking about how much fun they had. I could go on and on, but I’ll leave it at this: Legacy Events made something I thought I could only dream of a reality. If I could hire Billy again and experience that day repeatedly for the rest of my life, I would in a heart beat. When I get photos back, I will edit this review to include some.

Experiencia negativa: Booked flowers and limos with the owner Bashar. I am surprised to be writing this review after how nice he was in the beginning. The flowers and stage were beautiful, missing a few items from the decor i really wanted but i skipped over that part as i didnt want to stress on my big day. Then come the limos. We booked a car and party bus. Our car limo driver had beat red eyes and was swerving the entire time and also texting while driving with newlyweds in the backseat. I called the owner while i was in the back seat of the limo explaining how unsafe i felt after almost getting into multiple accidents. We had to get out of the car ON OUR WEDDING NIGHT on the side of the road to go into the party bus because of how unsafe we felt with this driver. The driver of the party bus even noticed it as well. 3 weeks after the wedding i dont get a resolution or even an APOLOGY at the very least as this company put our lives in danger. I am not one to write bad reviews but this situation is being ignored and that means it will happen again with another couple and they truly dont care about you or your safety.

From the limo drivers putting her life in danger to missing arrangements and multiple.other scenarios and till this day owner has been ignoring and has not resolved anything he promised.

Experiencia negativa: MOST UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. On my own wedding day I had to take my wife out of a rented car with a “professional driver” who was provided by legacy events. The driver looked intoxicated or under the influence and was texting the entire time after multiple attempt to ask the driver to drive carefully and reaching out to the OWNER of the business and pleading he do something about the driver. 3 weeks later and not even an apology was provided and just being told “don't worry I’ll handle it” to now being completely ignored. Multiple vendors warned us that he has his hands full and drops the ball but to put a clients life at risk with a driver who can’t drive in a straight line, stop in the middle of a green light, texting throughout the entire ride, and ignores requests is completely unacceptable when no one even tries to rectify the situation. He will only respond when mentioning of lawyers getting involved. Please be aware before booking and know if anything goes wrong it will not be rectified and you will be ignored.

Experiencia negativa: Garbage service and owner is even worse horrible horrible please don't ruin your wedding day with this guy . He put my family in danger with his drivers never showed up when he said he would be there and we have video proof of the drivers recklessness and dangerous driving swerving in and out of lanes was definitely drunk or high this is definitely going to court . Also arrangements he promised were not done correctly and missing simple details we spoke about and now he's completely ignoring us.Good luck continuing business this way buddy

Experiencia fantástica: OUTSTANDING !!! No amount of words can describe Legacy Events. They go above and beyond for their clients and really give you more than you can imagine. We hired Legacy Events for our wedding, we used them for basically everything, upscale wedding invitations, flowers (which were beyond BEAUTIFUL), entertainment (ballerinas, Dj, Dancers, saxophone, drummers, violinist, oud player and also for their exotic car rentals, limo Rolls Royce, Party bus for my bridesmaids, one 360 photobooth and one Vogue photobooth as well as an insane seating chart and accordian wall customized with our photos from our engagment by them for our decor. We were truly shocked by the amount of entertainment we had during our wedding and how many details were placed in our venue to give it the look we wanted. Bashir is the most funny positive wedding event planner to work with and his personality makes it easy for stressed our brides and grooms to feel calm as they plan their weddings which is difficult for anyone to come across. Our guests were in awe of our wedding and still talk about it until this day. It was truly a fairytale. Thank you Legacy Events. We will be using you for all future events !

Our henna was traditional and both my family and my spouses were very impressed with all the little details we were able to add on Bashar's suggestions. Also, part of the package we paid for was an album with 100+ photos, and a printed picture. WE NEVER RECEIVED THEM! I do not recommend!

After 5 years since my wedding I thank god I was able to find and retrieve my wedding photos and videos after I paid the 3rd party contractor Billy hired and scammed. I am grateful to the 3rd party contractor that the company still kept my stuff after 5 years. Billy not once apologized or gave me an explanation to why he did not have my wedding photos, albums and video. He basically robbed me and kept dragging my husband and I with him with excuses. ALL these positive comments and reviews are happy newlyweds that just finished from their wedding and happy to start their lives together. He is still dragging them along giving them broken promises that as why you should wait to read their final review once they realize they will never get their wedding stuff. I have screenshots as proof as to the torment this scammer/ con artist put my husband and I through. So anyone that plans to book their wedding with Legacy events feel free to reach out to me so that I can provide you with proof of what this scammer does to couples that pay him thousands of dollars.

Billy was amazing and was super accommodating to our budget along with our vision. He put together stunning arrangements that were beyond what we thought and the wedding florals were just stunning. His sweetheart tables are truly special! Highly recommend Billy for your wedding! He will take whatever you want it to look like and make it even better!

Experiencia negativa: My wife and I selected Billy and his team after meeting them at the Brownstone's tasting event, and were excited at the prospect of a one-stop shop with beautiful flowers. Unfortunately, although Billy and his team were kind and cordial, they were unprofessional, somewhat disorganized, and had difficulty recalling what we had agreed upon. On the day of our wedding, they: 1. Arrived late with the flowers, delaying the start of our reception; 2. Delivered the wrong centerpieces; 3. Did not deliver table numbers, or a gift box (both of which we paid for); 4. Delivered a sweetheart table with chairs that fell apart when my wife sat in them; 5. Our wedding cake had no flowers; 6. No mirror welcome sign (which we paid for). All in all this added up to several hundred dollars worth of missing goods. We reached out to Billy and after a few attempts got a hold of him, at which point he apologized and promised to reimburse us via check. Nearly two months later, despite our repeated attempts to get in touch with him and offer alternative payments, he is dodging our calls and we have not been paid. I would not recommend working with Legacy Events.

Experiencia negativa: FUTURE BRIDES - PLEASE READ!! I was excited to work with Billy and Legacy Events for our wedding this past September after meeting his team at a wedding showcase at our venue. We met two times to review the center pieces that we selected, the sweetheart table arrangement, and several other unique details that Legacy Events had to offer: including beautiful table numbers, a card box to hold cards, a "welcome sign" on a small mirror for our guests to see, our bridal party's bouquets and boutineers, and the inclusion of fresh flowers on our wedding cake. He was easy to reach via text or call, and I went into my wedding day eager to see the final product. We even used Billy's sister to design our beautiful table seating chart for our guests. Unfortunately, the items that we paid for in full that were outlined in our contract were not there on our wedding day. First off, the morning started off rocky when the bouquets for our bridal party were delivered and the flower girl's flowers were missing. They arrived much later in the morning after calling Billy and his team. The centerpieces were incorrect (but at least the correct number were present, as Billy initially had the incorrect number despite me confirming the total table count numerous times), the welcome sign was never made nor delivered, there were no table numbers and no card box for our guests to leave their cards - all paid for and in our contract. Our wedding cake never had the fresh flowers added, leaving it fully bare as we had told our venue that Billy would be adding flowers to it prior to the reception. When my husband and I entered the reception room to see our first reveal, we did not find Billy nor his company setting up the room, but rather workers with a third party company logo listed on their shirts - people we had never met before and who did not seem to know what we were supposed to receive that day. Possibly worst of all, the team arrived so late to set up the reception room that the chairs at the sweetheart table were never fully put together and as the bride, I fell through my chair TWICE during the reception. It was so embarrassing that our venue offered to duct tape the chairs to avoid future injury... Now, I never leave bad reviews because I understand that things happen. Little details can be overlooked and forgotten about, and I tried to give Billy and his team the benefit of the doubt as the centerpieces we did receive - although incorrect - were pretty and the sweetheart table floral arrangements were stunning. We called Billy the Monday after our reception to try to find a resolution to the situation, as we paid over $300 for the items that were not present on our wedding day. First, Billy tried to blame the venue, stating that the items were delivered but never put out. Of course, this was not the case and our venue shut down that notion immediately. Ultimately, he apologized for the missing items and told us for WEEKS that a check was in the mail with the refund for the items that were not present. It is now almost December. Over 2 months have passed, and not only did we not receive any check from him or his team, but he no longer answers our calls or texts about the matter. My husband, my parents, and I have all tried to reach him and his company multiple times with no answer. I truly cannot believe how unprofessional Billy and his team have been in their handling of this situation. I'm surprised because he was extremely personable during the planning process and made me feel initially quite confident that he would do a great job. I'm not sure if we will ever hear back from him or his team regarding our refund, but I do suggest that future brides look elsewhere when booking decorations and floral arrangements.

From the initial meeting of discussing my vision, to the day of my wedding, everything went so smoothly and went exactly how I wanted it! So classic and modern and gorgeous!! Billy literally made my vision come true, and I was in tears when we did the grand reveal of the ballroom and to see my vision come to life. He did everything exactly the way I wanted it, it was breathtaking! He went above and beyond to make me happy and to make our day so special. They truly went above and beyond to make our special day unforgettable. The floral arrangements were breathtakingly beautiful, adding a touch of elegance and romance to the entire venue. Every petal was perfectly placed, and the colors were exquisite. Our DJ kept the party going all night long! We had an interracial wedding, American and Egyptian, and the music selection was spot on, catering to all our guests' diverse tastes. From the ceremony to the dance floor, they seamlessly transitioned between songs and created a fantastic atmosphere. Their energy and enthusiasm were contagious, and they ensured that everyone had a fantastic time. In addition to all of this, we had a guy playing an Egyptian drum all night and he was amazing! With a set up like ours. Billy usually needs the space starting from the morning. He was able to have it All ready in time for reception in less than 3hrs!!

Experiencia negativa: I must say, it was quite a disappointing experience hiring Bashar. I had read some positive reviews on his page, but in hindsight, it seems those were all from friends and family, so I feel compelled to share my honest review to prevent others from getting fooled. Firstly, his DJ's performance was a disaster. He managed to mess up the songs multiple times, and his speakers were making strange noises, making it difficult to hear anything. To add insult to injury, he didn't even play the songs we had carefully chosen for the event. Instead, he decided to play some old-fashioned Egyptian songs and Moroccan World Cup songsthat were completely out of place and embarrassing. To top it off, he forgot our slow dance song and came to us asking about the slow dance song in the middle of the party. The photographer we agreed on based on his work was switched during the day of the event without prior notice or approval, leaving us in a state of sorrow and disappointment During introductions, his lack of professionalism was evident. He forgot my last name and even my parents' names, basic requirements for any event, causing extreme awkwardness. On a slightly more positive note, his floral arrangements were acceptable. However, it was evident that they were recycled from other weddings, and some of them looked far from fresh. I cannot recommend him to anyone. If you're considering hiring him, make sure you have a rock-solid contract with all the details explicitly laid out. Based on my experience, I believe it's best to explore other options and find a DJ/wedding planner who is reliable, professional, and truly skilled at what they do. Don't be fooled by the seemingly positive reviews on his page and cheap services, as they may not accurately reflect the quality of his services. While saving money may be tempting, a skilled and experienced DJ can truly elevate the atmosphere and ensure that your event is a memorable success. Don't compromise on quality when it comes to setting the mood and making lasting memories. Many guests agreed that Bashar might be better suited for another profession.

I was so blown away and impressed by everything they did from the florals, staging, ceremony, reception, & afterparty. Not only did they did a phenomenal job with the whole design esthetic, but they provided such fun entertainment with the hora loca for the reception, and a dancers and a DJ for the afterparty. They had all the pyro sparkles for both reception as well as after party. They’re service was a 10/10 pricing was 10/10 you’re not gonna find anyone like them in the area. Highly recommend them for all weddings and events!

Experiencia negativa: LISTEN UP! My son and his bride to be went to Billy and Legacy events for their wedding day. They choose Legacy because of the price. The entire process they were shown beautiful pictures and were pleasantly surprised with what they were getting for the price. Billy (the owner) kept throwing in free add ons. Come wedding day, The sweat heart table did not look like anything they had previously agreed upon. The stairs at the venue were not decorated as discussed and center piece stands were not the same as they picked out (some were not even on stands). When the bride was upset and complained, Billy’s assistant told them he was in an accident and was at the hospital. He was conveniently there at the end of the night cleaning up completely ignoring them out of shame. Their text messages went unanswered. I’d listen to the other negative reviews here. Buyer beware you get what you pay for!

Experiencia negativa: I don’t know where to start with this review. On August 25, 2019 I hired Bashir aka Billy aKa bashar Baghdadi to do my wedding. Until this day he refuses to give me anything from my wedding. I literally begged him for my wedding video and pictures. He always has an excuse why he hasn’t gotten them ready. I have screenshots of our conversations and I honestly wouldn’t wish this on anyone especially since it is our wedding memories. He has lied and dragged my husband and I for 4 years now to believe he will give us our wedding stuff, we haven’t received a single wedding memory from Billy. He actually mocked me and said to take him to court but they will not do anything for us. Anyone, anyone at all that would like to see proof of this please email me and I will send you screenshots of our conversations. I attached a picture of the first page of our wedding contract for you to see that this legit happened to us and anyone can call the venue and take a confirmation Because this is just so unbelievable. Please be careful and do not book your events with this scammer!!!

I paid him for my peony bouquet and on the day of my wedding I get delivered a pale yellow roses bouquet. I broke down crying and freaking out. He never answered my calls and messages. Can you imagine the stress I was under because of him during my wedding. Thankfully I hired elegant affairs for the reception and they made me a new bouquet on the day of the wedding. I called the bank and got my money back. He didn’t even dispute the action because he knew he was slimy. Save yourself the money and trouble and embarrassment and choose another reputable company. He literally got kicked out of legacy castle for his poor work ethic. Brides be ware!

When I got to the hall the setup wasn’t the setup we chose, the chair on stage was ripped up and stained all over and the flooring on the stage was black with foot prints all over. We called him to get the seat changed and fix the flooring. He brought another chair that was also dirty with a big blue stain going across from it and said that the floor wasn’t his issue and that the hall had to fix it. Another thing was the table that he brought was was disgusting stains all over we had to use a cloth from the hall to cover it up. He promised to change the chair again and never came back so we had to deal with a dirt stained chair for the party. Horrible service didn’t even do the setup we wanted and would ignore our calls and texts afterwards when trying to get a refund I would never recommend this place please stay away!!!.

Always picks up your calls/calls you back right away. The photographers and videographers were on time on the day of the event. Again very helpful bunch. Instructing you on how to pose and what yo do during the photoshoots and videos. Definitely would not settle with anyone else other than Legacy Events.

Billy is so detail oriented and his work speaks for itself. The thing is Billy is so attentive to his couple that at times when I felt stressed or wanted to change something, I didn't have to say much he just understood and I would a call the next day about the updated arrangements, the new tables he ordered just for us, the sparklers he got me a couple of hours before my wedding, etc- The list goes on. I was getting married in a different church than what I was used to, and the layout was very different, Billy showed up the day of my rehearsal and laid out where the arches, the flowers, the chairs, and where everything would be. And, when we were stuck 8 hours away from our venue and could not make our walk-through- Billy showed up, took videos and TRANSFORMED MY BALLROOM. I know this review is long, but it's TRUE. As a bride- hiring Billy was the best decision and trust me on this don't just hire a florist.....hire Billy and his team, you won't regret it!

We had some crazy requests that we didn’t think were even possible and Billy didn’t blink an eye! Everything we wanted he got and made our wedding perfect! We received countless compliments on our centerpieces and he did a spectacular job with our dance floor. After looking at several others in the area I have no doubt we made the best choice.

The DJ did not know anything about us or how to introduce us. Even dater giving him our information and our family introductions, he did a terrible job that my close friend had to step in and introduce us instead. 2. The wedding video was a series of raw footage and the highlight clip video was like 2 min long. We requested multiple times for a specific song to be played for the highlight video and we never received the edited version. The videographers also did not know what the take videos off so they copied off from our photographer that we hired from a different company. 3. The team is not readily available and very hard to contact if you need anything or want updates on your material I would highly discourage anyone from using Billy and his teams services. I would spend the extra money and higher someone professional and with experience.
