All events from rehearsal dinner, welcome party, 2 full wedding in one day for almost 300 guests were executed meticulously. Experiencia fantástica: As someone who works in the hospitality industry and has had the pleasure of working with Harmony Weddings and Events from a vendor perspective, I already knew they were exceptional. But hiring them, specifically Daniel, as my own wedding planner took my appreciation to a whole new level. Daniel was everything we could have hoped for and more. From day one, he was unbelievably responsive, kind, organized, and attentive to every detail. With only a 6 month engagement, I was facing issues finding vendors and he helped us secure some of the best vendors in the area. His communication was flawless, which is no small feat in the wedding world, and he handled everything with a calm, confident presence that instantly put us at ease. He’s not just a fantastic planner, he’s a genuinely wonderful human being, and that made all the difference in our experience. Daniel made the planning process not only stress-free, but on the actual day, we didn't need to think of anything. He handled every minor detail, kept us on track when we had total loss of time. My husband and I have had conversation after conversation in these past 100 days of marriage, that we just are so grateful to have had Daniel and we literally didn't need to use our brains on the wedding day. When I say everything was done for us- I mean everything. He truly listened to what we wanted, offered expert advice when we needed it, and executed our vision with absolute grace and professionalism. I'll also add that we wanted to infuse the Filipino culture and wedding traditions into our wedding and he offered the best advice on how to carry out these ideas. Having seen firsthand how Harmony Weddings and Events works behind the scenes, I knew we were going to have a wonderful experience for our own wedding. I cannot recommend Daniel, and the entire Harmony team, highly enough. We've got another wedding in our work family coming up and I'm so thrilled to hear she has hired Harmony Weddings too! Experiencia fantástica: We used Harmony for our October 2024 wedding. Allison was our day of coordinator and she was absolutely fabulous! We met with her several times before the wedding and she provided recommendations and timeline templates that were super helpful. It took away so much stress so we were able to enjoy the fun parts of planning the wedding! Allison went with us to our meeting with the rental company. I can’t recommend this enough because there are so many things to think of and decisions to make. Allison thinks of everything, so you don’t have to. She is so thorough. On the day of the wedding, she was the perfect calming presence, but she also knows how to get stuff done! Our wedding day went so smoothly thanks to her and her team. I can’t recommend Allison and Harmony enough!

Planning an Indian wedding is no small feat (especially a South Indian one with many specifications on diet, alcohol rules, florals, etc.), and they pulled it off in just three months with grace, precision, and creativity. As we began planning and got closer to the wedding day, people would often ask me if I was stressed out about wedding planning. Truthfully, I never really felt stressed out because I knew Daniel had everything covered. On the day itself, I felt like I could really enjoy myself because I wasn't worried about small details or the timeline. We had the absolute best time and would highly recommend Daniel and Harmony weddings.
Experiencia fantástica: When my daughter and I contracted with Daniel at Harmony Weddings, I knew that we wanted a day-of coordinator who would let me actually enjoy the party. Daniel Varela and his team ( s/o to Corinne and Ty ), were at the bride and groom’s beck and call the day of the ceremony. There was always a water bottle or a chair waiting for them. The set up was as envisioned and how we had talked about. Then, there was a medical emergency during the reception. Dealing with that, I became completely unavailable to assist with questions or "just to make sure". Daniel (cue Mission Impossible theme) immediately and transparently took over. Unless a guest was part of the emergency, no one knew anything was going on. We planned for dozens of contingencies, weather, no-shows, extra-shows, vendors missing the mark. This problem was not planned for, and Daniel ensured that my daughter’s vision was perfectly executed. A million thank-you’s to Daniel Varela at Harmony. Stop searching here. We had Kathryne as our planner/coordinator, and she was amazing throughout the whole planning process and the day of the wedding. Her expertise in the industry is second to none, and if you want to have a stress free wedding she is the way to go. She is very organized, communicates effectively, and can work with any of your concerns to make the wedding day perfect.

From our first meeting almost 2 years ago, to our wedding day, Daniel was extremely thorough and organized. He was always willing to answer our many, detailed, questions and helped us to feel calm and prepared in the lead up to our wedding. Daniel's knowledge and experience are incomparable, and he helped us to find vendors who met our vision, while remaining in our budget. Experiencia fantástica: We used Harmony Weddings and specifically Aneesa for our wedding planning. We are both doctors who live in Texas and were trying to plan a wedding in North Carolina. Additionally, we were combining both Catholic Indian culture with traditional American culture. All said, we knew we needed help. We hired Aneesa for her full service wedding planning and she worked with us to stay in budget the whole time. Aneesa was flexible around our very busy schedules on a different time zone. She coordinated all contracts, vendors, arrivals, etc. I think the best part about Aneesa and her team though is ultimately the seamless day of. My now husband and I did not have to think about a single detail the entire day because Aneesa and her team were two steps ahead. From corralling guests, making sure vendors arrived and the venue was set perfectly, coordinating buses for 200+ people, making sure we had water throughout the entire day and night, and breaking down and cleaning up at the end of the night, Aneesa and her team took care of it all.

Experiencia fantástica: Daniel and team helped us have a wedding day filled with so many incredible memories. We did partial planning, so there were still plenty of things we were responsible for on our own - but it was really helpful to have his lists, his recommendations, and the deadline of monthly meetings as a check-in point. Any time we had a question about a vendor or a "is this really how this works" type of a thing, he was quick to check in with the rest of the Harmony crew - so we were really getting all of their collective expertise along the way. If you have South Asian parents, they might be the *hands on* type, and Daniel was great about including my parents in conversations whenever asked to make sure they felt in the loop. Week and day of, there were plenty of things that we just did not have the brainspace to make detailed decisions about, and Daniel took care of them (check out the pictures!) By then he knew us and knew our vision, and just saying "this needs to go on a table sort of like this" was enough for him to run with. Plus, he, Heidi, and Corinne had fun (also see pictures!), which I think translates to a better experience for guests. We ran on time and no one had any issues getting food, also two important things. Post-wedding, we ran into some issues with equipment returns that the Harmony team also helped us work through. While that's no fun for anyone, we appreciate that Bethany took the time to speak with us and hear us out. If you're having a South Asian fusion wedding, we absolutely recommend the folks at Harmony - they're the first name that gets mentioned when you ask in this area for a reason! She's also incredibly organized, focused, and always puts clients first. And it's not just Aneesa—her team, including Corinne and Qurratul-Ayn—was amazing. They made sure everyone was pampered and well taken care of during our multi-day event in Iceland. EVERY detail was handled with such care and intentionality, which is so rare to find. Let me start out by saying I am a complete control freak and I get things done quick. When I called Harmony for a consult, Daniel called me. Oh Daniel, I just can’t say enough about him. He was and is a gem of a human. He went above and beyond to make everything PERFECT. I thought I was a perfectionist but let me tell you Daniel will perfect perfection! Experiencia fantástica: Daniel was incredible! I have never worked with a wedding planner that was so personable and pleasant. My step daughter and her fiancee are residents in medical profession and their schedules and tendencies to procrastinate I knew would be an obstacle in planning their wedding. Daniel never missed a beat , kept them on schedule without being over bearing or angry. He is always in a great mood, upbeat and positive. Our family dynamics he quickly understood and made every effort to make me included and important. On the wedding day things ran smoothly and his assistants were just as accommodating and friendly . The day was perfect and ran smoothly. Daniel become a friend in the process and am thankful for all he did. It was more than a pleasure working with him. Experiencia fantástica: I was a guest at a recent wedding organized by Harmony. I’ve been to way more than my share of weddings. This was the FIRST time I’ve ever sought out the planners to commend them. I watched the bride and groom genuinely enjoy themselves as the events were all so well planned, timed, etc AND the couple was catered to throughout the weekend. Although, I’m in DC, Aneesa and her squad will be who I consider first when someone mentions they are looking for a wedding planner.
Experiencia fantástica: We worked with Allison at Harmony Weddings for our wedding coordinator and it was an amazing experience! Throughout the whole process Allison was easy to reach and ready to help. She kept us organized and gave us a timeline that we could work against as we worked on planning our wedding. Allison's advice during the process helped us a lot! By the time the wedding came about she had made sure we had all the major things planned and ready. During the wedding Allison was on top of everything and make sure it all ran smoothly! I did not have to worry about a single thing, as Allison and the others from Harmony made sure my wife and I were taken care of. All the details the day of were taken care of and went off without a hitch. All the work that Allison had to do with setup, decoration, timing, photos etc. went perfectly. I definitely recommend Allison and Harmony Weddings to anyone, their experience and attention was invaluable and we would not have been able to pull off our wedding without them!
Experiencia fantástica: We had the pleasure of working with Allison from Harmony Weddings for our NYE wedding. She is the BEST! Throughout the whole process she answered any questions that we had and helped to guide us when we needed it. She worked with all of our vendors to make sure they were aware of the timeline and followed it. On the day of our wedding, everything flowed seamlessly. We were able to relax and soak in every moment, knowing that she had everything under control. There wasn't one stressful moment for us. She set everything up so beautifully, it honestly blew our expectations out of the park. We knew a NYE was longer than a typical wedding but Allison was ON the whole time. She was so caring and thoughtful the whole night. She was even able to get a little stain out of my dress, which was a big deal! Our guests were also impressed by the flawless execution of the event and have been raving about it ever since. We could not have done it without Allison. It was truly the best day, thanks to her! 10/10!!!
Experiencia fantástica: From the beginning, Harmony Weddings and Events, was timely in their communication with me about wedding planning. They were transparent with their roles, timelines, etc. When I first talked to my wedding planner, Daniel, I already felt a weight lifted off of my shoulders. He was so positive, encouraging, and laid out dates of when we needed to do specific things. He was very responsive to emails, texts, and phone calls. The day of the event, he made everything happen so seamlessly that I was never stressed or worried. He even put our dinners in our hotel room so that my husband and I were able to enjoy our meals together without interruptions. Overall, I would recommend him to other brides/grooms who are getting married as he was so pleasant and easy to work with.
Experiencia fantástica: My husband and I are wedding photographers/videographers (The Greenes Photo + Films) and recently had the pleasure of working with Allison and Kathryne for a New Year's Eve wedding. In the industry, NYE weddings have a reputation for being a tad more challenging due to the amount of TIME that has to be filled. Allison and her team were FLAWLESS! They created a timeline that kept everyone entertained and the flow of the event going strong. Allison knew the importance of the first look with a 5:00 ceremony and early sunset and accommodated our requests for timing of photos pre-ceremony. Allison was respectful of everyone throughout the day. She worked hard the ENTIRE day but never once gave off a frazzled/chaotic energy. She was the epitome of grace, professionalism, and joy. 10/10 would recommend!

We gravitated towards their team because of their vast experience in planning and coordinating multicultural weddings. My husband and I come from American, Sri Lankan, and Vietnamese backgrounds so it was paramount that we work with vendors that would respect and help us honor our cultural traditions. From the moment we submitted our inquiry the team was responsive, communicative, and helpful. Going into wedding planning we had no clear vision of what we wanted - venue, ceremony size, budget, etc. After our first call with Aneesa and Daryl we were able to gain so much clarity and perspective and we knew that we absolutely had to work with them to plan our wedding. Daryl was our lead planner and was such a delight to work with! Her extensive experience in the wedding industry proved to be such an advantage throughout the planning process. She was so knowledgeable when it came to design and choosing the right vendors that aligned with our vision (and budget!). She was responsive to vendors and always took the time to answer my (sometimes incessant) questions and put me at ease. I felt really prepared and organized going into the wedding weekend thanks to her planning spreadsheets and questionnaires. Daryl's coordination on our wedding day was unmatched to any other wedding I have attended! From the wedding rehearsal through the end of the wedding day she was extremely attentive to everyone's needs and made sure everyone felt supported and heard. As a result, my husband and I were able to really soak everything in and stay present. We had incorporated many elements and surprises throughout the wedding day and everything went so smoothly! And many guests were gushing about how impressed they were with the planning team afterwards. We will forever be grateful to Daryl and the Harmony Weddings team. They truly made us feel loved and supported throughout wedding planning and helped make our wedding day so special and unforgettable!

Experiencia fantástica: ETA: I wish I could write reviews for each one of the Harmony planners I've gotten to work with (Aneesa, Bethany, Daryl, Kathryne, Sydney). I love them all so much! And I can't wait for the chance to work with the planners I haven't yet. As a wedding photographer, I see firsthand, regularly, how important having an organized, efficient, and KIND wedding planner is. The team at Harmony brings that organization, efficiency, kindness, and everything else you could possibly want from a planning team. I absolutely love wedding days that I get to work with a Harmony Weddings planner because they make things so easy. One of the most important reasons to hire a wedding planner is so that you can just forget everything else and simply BE IN THE MOMENT on the wedding day. Harmony planners will do everything in their power to make sure you have that opportunity. (And that's really important to photographers like me, because we want enthusiastic images of you IN THE MOMENT having a great time with your friends and family).

Everything ran smoothly at our wedding, Aneesa was always available to answer any of our questions is the weeks leading up the event, and the pre-wedding timeline/layout meeting was just what my wife and I needed to feel prepared for the big day. Most importantly, our wedding was exactly as we imagined it and was 100% within our budget! Experiencia fantástica: Shivam and I had been together for 13 years before getting married, so we definitely felt pressure to have a flawless fusion wedding, but had no idea where to start. Aneesa and her team at Harmony Weddings brought our dreams to life for the most perfect day. We hired Aneesa a little over a year before our wedding date, March 2023. She is so kind and energetic, that it was truly a delight to work with her. We would meet monthly which allowed us to break things down and make a huge event much more approachable. Aneesa knew every vendor we needed, from the best beauty artists, photographers, and florists to specific Indian caterers, DJs and the Maharaj. I specifically remember the day we went to pick out linens. The store was overwhelming, but she had already picked out options in our color palette, theme and price range so that the process was fun, simple and free of stress. Perhaps the best thing Aneesa provided us was the ability for everyone to be present and enjoy the wedding. I didn’t have to look at the clock on my wedding day since I trusted Aneesa and her team to make sure things ran on time. Our bridal party and parents didn’t have to corral guests from place to place, pick up food from caterers, or clean up at the end of the night. Everyone kept telling me to expect that something would go wrong on my wedding day, but nothing ever did. Shivam and I adore Aneesa and her team at Harmony weddings. Experiencia fantástica: I cannot express enough gratitude for our planner Bethany Degro with Harmony Weddings! We started the planning process in January 2022 and celebrated our wedding June 2023. Bethany was incredible from the very start! We chose a partial planning package, which split the work between myself and Bethany. I truly never felt stressed or overwhelmed with her help. Our first meeting went over vision and budget, which tremendously helped me understand all the details that go into wedding planning. She provided several recommendations for local vendors and would review contracts for us as well. She helped with many meetings and answered any question along the way, which always kept me at ease. She is incredibly kind and respectful. Once the wedding day arrived, there was not a single thing I was stressed about. She even picked up our breakfast so I didn’t have to worry about it! Her team was 10000% prepared on the day of the wedding, to the point they were able to sew a ribbon onto my bridesmaids dress that broke in order to fix it for ceremony! She made sure my husband and I had appetizers, dinner and dessert so we could enjoy every bit of it. I also had a major makeup problem and one of the assistants was always there prepared to help me fix it. I cannot say enough of how appreciative I am for all her help! From our very first conversation, my husband and I felt comfortable leaning on her expertise and wisdom. We were planning a wedding from out of state and needed A LOT of support. Kathryne worked with us to figure out what we wanted, how we wanted to celebrate our love, and what steps we needed to take to get there. From personalized lists of verified vendors, to coordinating those vendors the day of, Kathryne was on it! We didn't have to worry about anything because she's just that good. My mom kept begging for a task and I could confidently tell her that Kathryne was handling it. Wedding planning with Kathryne by our side wasn't stressful, in fact, it was joyful. She brings such a bright spirit to planning weddings, it felt like working with a best friend. She'd answer our emails and texts quickly, hop on a zoom whenever we started feeling antsy, and even connected with our maid of honor and best man to make sure we were all aligned. She made sure our parents and grandmother felt special the day of, made sure my husband had plenty of ice packs and fans to stay cool, and was on standby for whatever else we needed. We truly can't say enough good things about working with Kathryne and Harmony. They're name alone got other vendors excited to work with us. They are professional, personable, and such a joy to work with. I wish we could do the whole thing again, and I'd do with with Kathryne too!

Due to unfortunate circumstances, our original wedding planner was no longer able to be our planner but luckily Aneesa was able to step in. She was extremely helpful with all aspects of our planning, helped us stay on track with tasks and scheduled meetings, and always had a positive, infectious attitude! During and after our wedding weekend, we got many compliments from guests about how amazing Aneesa was at our wedding! She made sure we stayed on track with our timeline (guests, vendors, and couple), made efforts to learn all our family members names, made sure we always were well fed and had what we needed, and always had a large smile on her face throughout it all. Her assistant, Bethany, from Harmony Weddings, also was able to assist on site at our destination wedding. Even when flight issues came up, they did everything and anything to try to make it to our destination on time – even if it meant extra flights, different destinations, and long car rides! Our wedding weekend was a dream come true and would not have been possible without the help of Aneesa and her team. We highly recommend her!

I ended up falling in love with the Graham Mill for my reception and they connected me to Harmony. From day 1, I knew this team would go above and beyond for me! I met with Aneesa who made me feel completely comfortable sharing my cultural and religious background and wedding traditions and she had tons of tips and connections to help me. My lead planner Allison Baer was a GODSEND - cannot imagine the wedding going smoothly without her help! Allison walked me through multiple planning meetings, texting vendor suggestions and reminders to sort things out, and her support with renting items for the wedding and doing the walkthrough of the venue was invaluable. She made me and my mom feel like the vision for my wedding was actually possible and she DELIVERED! She coordinated all the decorations EXACTLY how I wanted them and was a constant gentle supportive presence through the inevitable mini crises not only for me but for my family. Allison and her team were greeting folks at the door, making sure guests had what they need, and reminded my husband and I to have dinner lol. All of my family raved about how great my planners were and how smoothly my wedding went - and believe me, a South Asian wedding running on schedule is nearly impossible! Cannot thank and recommend Allison, Aneesa, Corrine and their whole team enough for making our special day a reality, and they are truly worth every penny!

She met with my fiancé and I several times throughout our journey. She was super quick to respond to emails and texts about ANY question I had. She was also always there for support through the stress of it all. She KNOWS her stuff. This is a professional team who know the ins and outs of the wedding industry and will do everything in their power to make sure your vision comes out perfect on your wedding day. We had a mulitcultural wedding and required someone who was bilingual to help out on the day of, and Emma was our person! Unfortunately, the day before the wedding Emma was unable to attend the wedding for personal reasons, but before it could become a problem, Harmony Weddings already had a solution. The night before I met Bethany, who is also bilingual and AMAZING! By the time I met her (only a few hours after finding out she would be at my wedding and not Emma) and knew EVERYTHING that needed to be known for the wedding day to go smoothly. She made sure I had dinner on the day of and that EVERYTHING I had asked Emma for be in place. She made sure we had time together and to get included what we wanted in our day. We were hydrated and we had time to take it all in. Which it flies by! Kathryne stepped in towards the end but it felt like you had been a part of the journey from the start. From the walkthrough to rehearsal to the wedding day she jumped right in and gave us all the confidence in the world we didn't have to worry about a thing. She went above and beyond to help get us lunch, make sure the day went so smooth and looked the best it could! Despite purchasing the more minimal "Wedding Management" package, as opposed to the Partial or Full Planning options, we felt fully supported throughout. Wedding planning can be daunting, but Harmony's tools, checklists, and guidance kept us on the right track. Hannah was always available; she patiently and quickly answered every question we could imagine. And day of, Hannah and her assistant were amazing - our vendors were organized, nothing was overlooked, we were constantly being attended to (in a good way), and clean up was a breeze. All their help was crucial, and it allowed us and our family to fully enjoy the night without worrying about who would pack up the florals and linens at the end of the reception. We could not have pulled off our wedding without Hannah's expertise, we can't recommend her enough!

Add in an extremely short engagement and some multidimensional family dynamics and it was an interesting recipe to take on BUT Aneesa showed up, as she always does, and made that recipe seem like a cake walk(no pun intended.) She listened to my crazy ideas, crazy stories and somehow tamed the crazy on the day-of. It was the best day of my life. All couples out there, I cannot recommend this team enough - they will be your champions, make you feel seen, heard and the cherry on top is they will execute a seamless event. I cannot say enough great things about her and how smooth our wedding day went. The whole week leading up to the wedding, Emma was in charge and made me feel COMPLETELY at ease. Not once did I stop and doubt her. She anticipated all our needs and was totally on top of everything, ESPECIALLY little details I didn't even think about. Plus, she was able to get us (bridesmaids and me) an extra bottle of champagne while we were getting ready. How can you expect to calm pre-wedding jitters with one bottle split between 6 people? Honestly, wouldn't have been able to have the amazing day we did without her!

Experiencia fantástica: My daughter chose Graham Mill waaaaaay back in January 2020 for her 12/12/20 wedding, and we decided to go with Harmony Weddings for month-of coordination. Even before the coordination started, Harmony provided a well-curated list of preferred vendors with proven performance records. We were able to select multiple vendors from the list, and were able to get others approved pretty quickly. Well, everything was going swimmingly until Covid put a big ol’ wrench in our plans, and we made the difficult decision to postpone. Aneesa at Harmony (who also owns Graham Mill) amazingly kept her positive and encouraging demeanor throughout the process despite the fact that Graham Mill was scheduled for its grand opening and first weddings in March 2020, and the loss of bookings throughout the pandemic must have been devastating. Closer to the date of the new wedding date, we were blessed to be matched with Tara as the month-of coordinator. Every meeting we had with her, we came away even more impressed and in absolute awe of her suggestions and ideas. I don’t know how anyone plans a wedding without a cheerleader/organizer/genius like Tara because she brought up about a billion things that I would not have even considered. She cheerfully made all the phone calls like changing catering and rentals orders, coordinating delivery times, etc that would have made me want to crawl in a hole and hide. Finally, almost exactly a year after the original date, we were able to host our daughter’s wedding. There are NO WORDS to describe the job that Tara and her team did throughout the wedding weekend. Attentive to detail doesn’t come close to giving this superwoman enough credit. The rehearsal and wedding went FLAWLESSLY, and everyone had a great time. The bride and groom finally had the celebration for which they had waited so long, and this mama of the bride is so very grateful for everything Tara and her Harmony team did to help our vision become a beautiful reality that our family will forever cherish. Plus Tara and I bonded as we teared up together during the father-daughter dance so we’re pretty much besties now lol. Summary: Don’t hesitate for a nanosecond to hire Harmony Weddings. They rock, but especially Tara. 
Experiencia fantástica: We loved working with Aneesa and her team for our wedding. She was a joy to plan with and made sure to take into account our vision while providing helpful guidance for what would work with our venue and budget. One of my favorite memories is Aneesa coming up to me halfway through the reception and asking what was wrong since she could tell something wasn’t sitting right with me. A small thing one of our other vendors had overlooked, but she immediately went to fix the problem and ensured that our plans were carried out to the best of her ability. We cannot recommend working with this team enough!
Experiencia fantástica: I had the pleasure of working with Harmony Weddings (specifically Sydney and Tara) for my November 2021 wedding at The Carolina Inn. Being somewhat new to the Chapel Hill/ Durham area, I didn't have much to go off of when selecting a planner so I had to rely on recommendations from other vendors, online reviews, and the body of work shared via social media. I ended up selecting Harmony Weddings because of their reputation amongst the wedding vendor community. Not only could they offer beautifully designed weddings, but they had a proven history of managing logistics like pros. From the beginning I knew that timeline, vendor management, day of logistics, and ability to alleviate undo stress from my family was the top priority and Sydney and her team delivered beyond my expectations. Once I met Sydney in person, I knew we were going to get along and I knew she was exactly what my family and I needed to get this thing planned and off without a hitch. Her calm, cool personality meshed with ours so well. I was not the kind of little girl who dreamed about my wedding and honestly I didn't even know what details I needed to plan when the time came. We made our priorities very clear to Sydney and she honored them every step of the way. Sydney was incredibly organized, she thought of everything that I didn't, and she gave me the kind of peace that you can only pray for the week before your wedding. Our day went off without any issues (that I knew of!) and it was pure magic to watch my vision come to life. We received so many compliments on the flow and ease of our day and I know that couldn't have happened without Sydney. Most importantly, my family was able to enjoy the morning with me, get pampered in hair and makeup without concerns, and they were able to spend the reception connecting with old and new friends and family. My wedding was a dream come true and I owe it all to Sydney. If you need a planner and are stuck between Harmony and another, I can assure you that Harmony will not disappoint. I could gush forever but I won't :)
Experiencia fantástica: My experience with Harmony Weddings and specifically our wonderful, talented and amazing planner Kathryne Krueger, was exceptional. I would highly recommend. My daughter lives in Chicago and wanted the wedding at The Barn of Chapel Hill. Distance plans are not an issue for Harmony Weddings! Kathryne's attention to details, warm personality, personal vender relationships, and ability to work as a team with two perfectionists allowed us to have a dream wedding experience. Kathryne always knew exactly what details and vender relationships were most important to each of us, treating all ideas with thoughtfulness and respect. Kathryne was PERFECTION! The day of the wedding my daughter and I were both able to completely disconnect from the plan, enjoy our friends and family and be completely present in every beautiful moment as it unfolded because we knew Kathryne not only had us, but truly understood how to run a flawless wedding. There is honestly not one single second or one single vender choice I would change, and that starts with our wonderful Kathryne Krueger! Just before the transition from the outdoor cocktail hour to the sit down dinner in the barn, Kathryne knew me well enough to come FIND ME, the mom, and bring me into the barn with all the glowing candles, beautiful flowers and table decor so I could soak in the vibe of my daughter's beautiful wedding reception for just a couple extraordinary, quiet moments, before it was "go time." That seemingly small act of kindness meant the world to me and centered me for the rest of the evening. Kathryne was also a confidante and supporter for my daughter throughout the planning process, stepping up to assist her with some significant officiant issues that could not have been a more amazing fit in the end! Kathryne made sure the time line ran like clock work and that my daughter just had to be the bride first! I would also like to thank Kathryne's assistant, Trang. You were such a hard working and lovely addition to the Day of Team. Thank you Harmony and THANK YOU KATHRYNE! I will forever be one of your greatest fans.
Experiencia fantástica: Harmony weddings did a magnificent job bringing my wedding vision together and helping me stay within my budget. There was no upselling and the owner, Aneesa has got to be the kindest, most patient person on the planet. I worked directly with Sydney P., and she made everything absolutely smooth, seamless, and stress free! She has wonderful “bedside manner” and gave FANTASTIC recommendations I would’ve never even thought of! My own wedding was only the 2nd I’d been to as an adult, and it wasn’t until I went to another wedding a month after mine that I realized just how amazing Sydney was at keeping our wedding on time and seamless for our guests. If I could’ve, I would’ve paid them 2-3x what they charge bc they are THAT GOOD. Thank you Sydney!! And thank you for running an amazing company, Aneesa!

Experiencia fantástica: Aneesa and her team are incredible and we couldn't have had a better experience working with her for our big day. We had our wedding in a newer venue on top of having to navigate planning a wedding during the COVID environment. Aneesa was always there to answer our questions and concerns, and provide us with necessary guidance to make sure everything went smoothly on the wedding day. We always felt we were in good hands. Aneesa is extremely kind, thoughtful, communicative, dedicated and professional-I think all of our guests were ready to hire her for any future wedding planning needs after the great time that they had at our wedding! Experiencia fantástica: Aneesa and her team were absolutely a COMPLETE REASSURANCE from Day 1. When our son and daughter-in-law said they were going to enlist the help of Aneesa and her team to help with their wedding originally scheduled for 8/8/2020, I was a bit surprised as our daughter-in-law is one of the most organized people I know. Yet I knew they understood why they needed Aneesa and her team. Little did we know how much. When my husband and I visited our son and daughter-in-law in February 2020, we met Aneesa so she could put our faces with our names. I instantly found a connection. Aneesa was warm and inviting, reassuring that she had us covered. One month later COVID changed the plan. Wow what a blessing to have Aneesa to renegotiate the kids’ contracts and do it with minimal interruption for the kids. They had so much to navigate; Aneesa’s communication with all vendors allowed the kids to focus on getting married in Iowa not as planned. With no hiccups Aneesa handled the new plans without any stress for our daughter-in-law or son. Fast forward to their vow renewal/celebration. On rehearsal evening through the celebration, Aneesa made sure that she and her team alleviated all concerns off of our daughter-in-law and son. She literally made sure the kids had their DAY and NIGHT….all with a reassuring smile. She runs a TIGHT SHIP…and boy she runs it with GRACE! We always felt relaxed knowing she had every single detail down and we didn’t have to worry. When people asked us how it went, I said 10/10. Hands down the best experience we could have ever imagined. Aneesa and her team are, without a doubt, necessary and celebrated. We LOVED her personality. Experiencia fantástica: We could not have had the wedding we did without Aneesa! All of our guests commented on how organized and helpful she was--it was clear she was the reason our wedding was so beautiful! It was also so wonderful to have a planner who also owned our venue (The Graham Mill) so it allowed for maximum flexibility in planning. There were a few little mishaps during the wedding day (which will always happen!) and Aneesa handled them without me even knowing. That's how you know you have the best planner there is :) I was a pretty anxious bride leading up to the day and Aneesa was SO kind answering my many questions and she put all of my worries at ease. In addition to being super detail oriented, she genuinely cares about the couples she works with. Don't go anywhere else for wedding planning!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Aneesa & Bethany, I don’t even know how to begin to describe the flawless wedding you pulled off for Mary-Margaret and Ben this weekend. Guest have used adjectives like flawless, spectacular, perfect and best wedding ever, but none of those begin to describe the sheer joy that you brought not only to the couple and bridal party, but to all 200 guests. It was a fabulous experience! Y’all worked so hard for two years (thank you COVID) to plan, re-plan and keep everything moving along. The vendor team you brought it were all superstars. You put up with our endless questions and made it a weekend where we could just sit back and enjoy everything. I don’t know how anyone can pull off a wedding without planners, but you were so much more than planners. You are a dream team! I’m still on that post wedding high. Thank you so, so much!!! Laura
Experiencia fantástica: Working with Bethany at Harmony weddings was the single best decision we made in the wedding planning process. We chose the partial package but it felt like we received the whole package!!! From helping us create a vision board, to attending a few of our vendor meetings, to helping us totally reschedule due to COVID, Bethany was there every step of the way for us. I never would have made it without her!! On the day of she made sure every small detail was attended to and that everything went off without a hitch- and when something did go awry at no fault of her own she kept calm, kept me calm, and kept everything moving! If I ever need to a host another event, Bethany will absolutely be my first call and if you have't hired Harmony weddings for your wedding yet, do it!!! We did not want to spend the extra money and thought we could just do it all ourselves. I mean how hard can it be right? Wrong! There are soooo many details that we had no idea went into planning a wedding. With my husband and I working full time and the pandemic occurring we realized we needed help. We met Aneesa as we were touring our venue and from that moment on we knew it was fate that we had to work with Harmony Weddings and specifically with her. Upon meeting her she just brings so much genuine happy energy that is contagious. Thankfully for us she was available to help! She went above and beyond to make sure that our wedding was unforgettable. Her attention to detail is rare and she is a true professional. She paid attention to things we would not have and every vendor she recommended was a joy to work with. The day of the wedding Aneesa and her assistant Ellie went above and beyond for us. Experiencia fantástica: Y’all I don’t even know where to begin!! We met Bethany with Harmony Weddings in November 2018 and immediately knew we needed her to be a part of our wedding day in March 2020. She had such a calming presence and thank goodness for that because there is no way I could have gotten through wedding planning without her, but then add in postponing our wedding twice due to COVID?! Bethany was an absolute life saver!! With her help, the postponement process became stress free and full of ease. She listened to me think through the decision, offered ideas, kept what she knew would be important to my wedding day in her mind as she guided me through making the decision. She helped me pick dates that all my vendors would be able to continue to work with us on. Working with her over the past 2.5 years now, it feels as though we have a friend in her. When our wedding day finally came around, on our first anniversary of our COVID back porch ceremony, I knew I wouldn’t have to worry about a single detail because Bethany was there to oversee it all. Bethany and Tara worked hard to make our day perfect. They were so sweet and kind to work with. Experiencia fantástica: We were so lucky to have been connected with Aneesa and her team through some friends who had raved about her when they got married! Aneesa was able to pull our vision together and make it an incredible success! We are so thankful for all of her guidance and never ending support through planning a wedding during COVID 19! We had to make the difficult decision to have a small intimate ceremony with just our families for this year and have our bigger party next year. She was phenomenal in helping rebook our entire vendor team for next year and accommodate our new vision for this year, which she executed flawlessly. Aneesa put our entire family at ease with her energetic personality, her composed and relaxed nature, and her vast industry knowledge!! We had zero stress and were actually able to enjoy the day because we knew she had everything under control! She went above and beyond every step of the way. We truly can't thank her enough for everything throughout this entire process!! We will continue to recommend her to as many people as we can! We can't wait for our larger celebration when more friends and families get to see her in action!
Experiencia negativa: Harmony weddings worked with us through a COVID wedding, but I was definitely not impressed with our experience. I truly hate to write a bad review, but this was the most stressful and least worth it vendor we had at our wedding. Sure, Aneesa brings energy, but the ball was dropped on many things throughout our experience. To start, Aneesa lost check after check when paying them the first deposits and di not offer Venmo until much later in the process. This is a small thing, but still costed me a lot of time following up again and again. Next, Hannah was our assigned coordinator. She was polite and nice, but here, I also felt like she "listened" to me, but really didn't do/get what I was saying for wedding details because she would ask questions again instead of taking the time to write things down. OVERALL: attention to detail was poor (for a wedding coordinator, you'd think this would be essential) I often felt hurried when explaining thoughts or ideas. She acted like I should just "trust" her, but, believe me, we couldn't. Harmony Weddings advertising a "coffee date" for the initial planning, not a big deal but Hannah did not do coffee or offer which is fine, but then don't call it that. There was a lot of uncertainty with our wedding being in 2020 and Harmony was flexible with communications and last minute changes, but that's where my compliments end. The biggest reasons that Harmony Weddings is not worth it are was follows: Hannah sent us a HUGE planning document the month of our wedding which would have been EXTREMELY helpful at the beginning of wedding planning. It caused a lot of stress at the beginning of October. I had repeatedly said previously that I had never been in or planned a wedding so something like that early in the process would have helped us help her. Then she did not communicate well with some of our vendors. She did not compare with our DJ the order or pairing of introductions of our bridesmaids and groomsmen, but hurried me through all of it and it was jolted and awkward. I specifically said to have the greenery put in the back of my father's truck and we did not get a single length of greenery from the tables (super expensive). They were just thrown away carelessly. Finally, we had all, if not, almost all of the third tier of our WEDDING CAKE thrown away at the end of the night. Hannah did not ask a single family member, bridesmaid or anyone, she simply made the decision herself to toss it BUT she put a small Mother of the Bride cake in a HUGE metal container that could have probably fit the entirety of the rest of our cake. She made the excuse it was for COVID and paid us to get a replacement so we could taste our favorite layer, but the point still remains she threw away a lot of our stuff. There's more I could say, but I think I've made my point. This was our experience with Harmony Weddings. We wanted and loved Forest Hall, but definitely were less than satisfied with Harmony.

We were so disappointed to hear this that we immediately reached out to you directly in the hopes of talking through some of these issues heart to heart. Unfortunately, we haven't heard back so we do want to take a moment to reply here as well. Let me again by addressing the part directed to me (Aneesa). Checks can always be tricky since the mail service is out of our control. We have since switched only to accepting online payments to ensure your frustrating experience does not happen in the future.
Next, I will copy some parts of the email apology sent to you from your coordinator, Hannah. As you know, you were offered $800 off our typical package for a simplified version due to your budget. In this package, Hannah was actually booked to leave after cake cutting and your family was responsible for clean up. But due to the fact she wanted to support you all more, she choose to stay an additional 3 hours complimentary.
"I was truly honored to serve as your coordinator and really hate to hear that you were not completely satisfied. The package you booked did include a coffee date, timeline meeting, rehearsal and my services through your cake cutting. When we did our initial meeting, I offered to meet you at a coffee shop in Chapel Hill or at Forest Hall and you all selected Forest Hall, I’m sorry that I did not offer to purchase coffee at our meeting. I hope you received the Starbucks gift card I have since sent you.
I would never intentionally rush a couple on their wedding day, my goal is to stay on our timeline to ensure that you and your guests are having a great time, while the vendors can prepare for what is coming next. I know that the wedding day can feel like it is moving so quickly. But, I am terribly sorry if that made you feel rushed.
The cake was uncovered on the dance floor with people around it and my judgment call, to follow COVID guidelines, was obviously not the right call and that is why we paid to replace it. My assistant and I were packing up the decor and gifts when a grandmother asked us for a bag to pack up the greenery, we were unaware that the greenery was not given to you. When I approached the family member you assigned to take things, he was unaware that he had been assigned the task. I asked 3 times for the vehicle to be unlocked or to be given the keys so we could begin to load the car and then needed to find a second car to load the rest.
Overall I am genuinely sorry for any miscommunications or feelings of disappointment. Throughout our time working together I never got them impression that I was failing to provide you with the support you deserved. Your wedding was absolutely amazing and beautiful."

Experiencia fantástica: Katheryne and Bethany were absolute superstars at our wedding. Obviously with COVID-19, we had to shuffle almost all of our plans for our wedding. But Katheryne was a huge help to us from the get go. We ended up having a wonderful backyard wedding that I wouldn't trade for anything. They were organized, patient with our many questions, and all-around on top of it. I'd recommend them to anyone, and I have!

Experiencia fantástica: Aneesa Glines, Harmony Wedding Events and Planners is outstanding!!! My daughter’s wedding was originally planned with Aneesa’s help as a celebration with 200 family and friends. Then COVID happened. Aneesa helped us unplan the big event. She then orchestrated the most beautiful and loving wedding event for just the 8 of us. The mini wedding included all the elements: ceremony, first look, first dance, champagne toasts, cake cutting, formal catered dinner all with photographer, music and laughter. The participation of all vendors was handled safely and comfortably so that the wedding party was able to enjoy each other without any health concerns. Her enthusiasm, kindness, and support was only surpassed by her knowledge, organizational skills and experience. There is no doubt that the wedding was such a wonderful event because Aneesa was there to manage all the big and little details of the day for us. As mother of the bride, I was able to be present at the wedding rather than manage the wedding. What a gift! We are looking forward to the rescheduled family event next year. With the support of Harmony Wedding Events and Planning, we are confident that event will be joyous as well.
