Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Bidisha from Cakes & Rose enough! I had the pleasure of working with her at a wedding last weekend, and she demonstrated the utmost care and professionalism every step of the way. She was prompt, thorough, kind, and super easy to work with. It is SO essential to have an excellent coordinator for an event as complex and nuanced as a wedding, and Bidisha 100% steps up to the plate in facilitating every aspect, from planning to execution.

Fantastic experience: Amee & Bidisha are not only amazing at wedding planning and execution, but they are also wonderful, kind people and we are so grateful to have had them by our side during our week long nuptials! Our wedding was spread out through different days and at different locations, and with their help the days flowed together flawlessly. When we had a family emergency the day before the wedding, they did not miss a beat and worked with our vendors to adjust the schedule and allow time for all of our loved ones to be present on our wedding day. Fantastic experience: We started working with Cakes & Rose six months out from our wedding date with only a couple of our vendors booked, so we had a lot on our plates. Amee & Bidisha were wonderful to work with as we planned our November wedding in DC at a 'blank slate' venue. It was so helpful to have them there to come up with a design concept, lay out floor plans and timelines, and communicate with all types of vendors (catering, rentals, venue, and more) on our behalf. The day of coordinator we worked with, Suchi, was absolutely amazing and she helped make the day and particularly our first look (our favorite part of the day) so special. In the end, we had an amazing wedding day. Cakes and Rose took so much stress out of the planning process and we highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: We could not have been more pleased with all the advice, help and planning services Amee and Bidisha provided for us. We were completely out of our comfort zone trying to plan an Indian wedding, and these two were absolutely amazing in guiding us through this process. They went above and beyond for us, time and time again, even after our wedding events were over. Within the first few meetings, we knew we could trust them completely to make our vision a reality, and that is exactly what happened. Not only were they instrumental in contacting and coordinating with every single one of our vendors, but they were also so helpful in coordinating things with our families as well. Fantastic experience: We loved working with Cakes & Rosé Events! We began planning with them virtually in February 2020 and they were more than accommodating with the cancellation of our plans as the world entered a global pandemic. During the initial planning experience, Amee and Bidisha were professional, accommodating to our schedule, engaged with great ideas, and very communicative about the aspects of planning. We enjoyed the initial experience so much that we contacted Cakes & Rosé Events again when we decided to start planning again nearly a year later. Fantastic experience: Amee and Bidisha were hands down so easy to work with. It’s been a month since our wedding and people are still talking about how much they did for our wedding. The #1 question we’ve been asked after our wedding was “Who was your wedding planner?”. We couldn’t have asked for better planners. Majority of our family even felt like we didn’t need wedding planners because it’s new concept to them and they just didn’t understand the need. However, as soon as the wedding was over, they couldn’t stop praising them and were just so thankful for all their help. We also didn’t realize how much coordination and planning goes on behind the scenes but we didn’t even have to worry about it because they handled everything. Amee and Bidisha made the process so smooth for us. They were constantly checking on us to make sure we were okay the whole weekend. Fantastic experience: We found Cakes and Rose through a Google search while looking for wedding "month of" coordinators. We met this wonderful team pre-COVID and fell in love with their style and personalities. Navigating wedding planning during COVID wasn't easy, but these two were so thoughtful and accommodating as we all figured things out together. Bidisha was so great at handling any issues that came her way even last minute. We've gotten great reviews about our wedding weekend, but the most consistent is how smooth the events ran. That is 100% because of all the diligent work this team put in to make everything work. We could not have had such a successful weekend without them and would highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: Planning an Indian Wedding is no small task but planning an Indian Wedding during the midst of COVID-19 is an even bigger feat. Amee and Bidisha were so instrumental in making sure our wedding week was a success. You honestly don't realize the small logistics that need to be managed until you have amazing planners like Amee and Bidisha to coach you along the way and make sure no T is left uncrossed or no I is left undotted. We re-scheduled our wedding once because of COVID which we thought was going to be a nightmare but Amee and Bidisha helped us liaise with all of our vendors to make sure everything was as seamless as possible. Furthermore, the week of the wedding we did not receive a single call from any of our vendors with problems because everything was filtered through Amee and Bidisha which was a huge weight off of our shoulders and we could actually enjoy our wedding festivities. Outside of just being very genuine people to work with, Amee and Bidisha were meticulous, organized, and proactive with helping us which is exactly what we were looking for from our planners. More importantly, Amee and Bidisha were able to coordinate with both our families and bridal party so that everyone knew exactly where they needed to be at exactly the right time. Both families had nothing but positive things to say about these amazing wedding planners as everything was executed with the utmost success. Without a doubt, I would recommend Amee and Bidisha to plan your next event.

Fantastic experience: As we approached our 25th anniversary, we realized we were in the tail end of pandemic but not everyone was vaccinated. It was a really difficult decision whether to celebrate or not. We found Cakes & Rose via Instagram and immediately fell in love with their aesthetics and accomplishments. We had just few months to plan everything but they assured us it can be done and it would be the intimate, authentic ceremony that we wanted. They visited us at our home several times and along with their vendors, mapped out the whole event along with the flow of the space. They drew the space map around our home and made excellent choices and decisions on our behalf. They clearly laid out their responsibilities and went above and beyond to assist in invitations, decor, catering, drinks and DJ. We truly appreciate their dedication and attention to details during such a stressful time. Above all, Amee & Bidisha were great bouncing board for our ideas which proved to be invaluable. We strongly recommend their service for their professionalism, attention to details, ability to think on their feet when things don't go as planned which happens invariably during events like these and their candor. Fantastic experience: Amee and Bidisha were instrumental in executing our wedding during the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic. We had to completely change our wedding plans amidst the pandemic. Amee and Bidisha went above and beyond to support making our wedding a safe experience, while still living true to our vision.
